本发明公开了一种无汞锌锰纸板电池,它用无 毒、无害的三氯化铋代替剧毒的氯化汞来作为电池锌 电极的缓蚀剂,使其电气性能达到国际标准。本发明 是将三氯化铋加入浆层纸的涂浆,将浆层纸作为电池 隔膜放置在电池正极和锌负极之间。本发明改善了 工人生产的环境,使生产工人免受汞毒害,同时避免 了含汞废电池随意扔弃而造成的环境污染,消除了汞 公害。

Description

本发明涉及一种改进的锌锰纸板电池。
现有的锌锰纸板电池所采用的缓蚀剂均是在电池电液、或正极粉料、或浆层纸的涂浆加入0.05%-0.5%氯化汞(HgCl2)溶液。氯化汞在锌锰纸板电池中作为锌电极的缓蚀剂,这是目前降低锌自放电的有效方法之一。加入少量氯化汞形成锌汞齐,使锌表面比较均匀,增加反应的活性面积,减少电化学极化,同时还可以提高氢析出的过电位,降低锌的自溶速度,从而提高电池的电气性能和贮存性能。但是,汞是有剧毒的物质,常温可以成为汞蒸气,对生产工人身体有极大危害;另外,用过的废电池随意扔弃会污染环境,造成汞公害。目前,国际上许多国家已提出了限制生产和使用含汞电池的提议。由于上述原因,用什么物质来代替氯化汞作为电池锌电极的缓蚀剂已成为电池行业的一重大研究课题;但到目前为止所使用单一的添加剂作为锌电极的缓蚀剂,电气性能还未达到使用氯化汞为锌电极缓蚀剂的水平。
本发明的目的是提供一种无汞的锌锰纸板电池,它用无毒、无害的三氯化铋代替剧毒的氯化汞来作为电池锌电极的缓蚀剂,并使其电气性能达到国际标准。
本发明采用重量比为0.5%-1.5%的聚丙烯酰胺(PAM)、3%-6%的聚乙烯醇(PVA)、2%-3%的氯化锌(ZnCl2)、40%-45%的化工改性淀粉(EcS)、0.4%-0.5%辛烷基苯酚聚氧乙烯醚(Tx-10)和适量的水(H2O)搅拌混和,然后加入重量比为0.25%-0.45%的三氯化铋(BiCl3),通过调节浆液的粘度、过滤、并使水的重量比为余量,则成为无汞的涂布浆液,这种涂浆经涂布机涂在电缆纸或基纸上并烘干,便成为无汞浆层纸。将这些浆层纸作为电池隔膜放置在电池正极和锌负极之间,这些浆层纸与正极、负极组成了三氯化铋代汞的锌锰纸板电池。
本发明经解剖观察锌片腐蚀情况,表明缓蚀剂三氯化铋和氯化汞对锌电极的缓蚀机理是绝然不同的,氯化汞是在锌表面发生置换反应,然后进一步向里层扩散,生成锌汞齐,从而改善锌的表面状况,提高锌的氢超电位,对锌片起到缓蚀作用,而三氯化铋是在锌表面形成密致的复盖层,结成良好的金属膜,这层膜经溶解于稀酸后呈性为金属,经X衍射,确定这层膜为金属构成,因此,使用三氯化铋作为锌电极的缓蚀剂是无毒的,它对人体无害,而且不会造成环境污染。同时,利用三氯化铋作为缓蚀剂的电池,由于锌电极表面形成一层保护膜,从而起到缓蚀作用。
本发明用无毒、无害的三氯化铋代替剧毒的氯化汞来作为电池锌电极的缓蚀剂,使其电气性能达到国际标准。它改善了工人生产的环境,使生产工人免受汞毒害,同时避免了含汞废电池随意扔弃而造成的环境污染,消除了汞公害。
下面结合附图对本发明实施例的性能作详细说明,附图是本发明的工艺简图。
在相同工艺条件下,采用本发明制备不同含量的三氯化铋浆层纸做成的锌锰纸板电池与氯化汞浆层纸做成的锌锰纸板电池,按照国家标准GB7112-86及IEC86-2标准放电对比,电性能及贮存半年测试结果如下:
A组:0.3%BiCl3
B组:0.4%BiCl3
C组:0.45%BiCl3
D组:0.2%HgCl2

Claims (2)

1、一种有浆层纸的无汞锌锰纸板电池,其特征在于浆层纸的涂浆含有三氯化铋(BiCl3)。
2、根据权利要求1所述的无汞锌锰纸板电池,其特征在于所述的浆层纸的涂浆含重量占0.25%-0.45%的三氯化铋。
