Description

Electronic reading material tracing and updating method and equipment
Technical Field
The embodiment of the invention relates to the technical field of computer networks, in particular to a method and equipment for tracing electronic readings.
Background
This section is intended to provide a background or context to the embodiments of the invention that are recited in the claims. The description herein is not admitted to be prior art by inclusion in this section.
With the development of computer technology and network technology, rich applications are provided for users, and various requirements of the users can be met. Electronic book (e-book) is produced to meet the reading requirements of users. In brief, a user using an electronic book can download an interested digital electronic reading material by installing reading software on a terminal, and can read the electronic reading material by opening the downloaded electronic reading material by using the reading software.
Typically, an electronic book provides a bookshelf function for collectively "displaying" the electronic readings downloaded by the user, i.e., providing access to the electronic readings. The electronic reading matter can be a short reading matter or a long reading matter, such as: loading the reading material. For long electronic readings, usually the author does not publish the entire text at one time when publishing the electronic readings, but publishes one or more chapters every day, that is, the updated contents of the electronic readings, and the interested electronic readings are updated by the user according to the frequency of the author publishing the updated contents, which is called "tracking up" later.
In order to avoid complex operations caused by manually tracing interested electronic reading materials by a user, the electronic book actively traces the electronic reading materials on the bookshelf, and once the updated content of the electronic reading materials is obtained, prompt information can be displayed at the corresponding icons of the electronic reading materials on the bookshelf to prompt the user. And the user enters the corresponding electronic reading material according to the prompt message and reads the updated content.
However, this approach also has certain disadvantages. The user needs to enter the interface of one electronic reading material from the interface of the bookshelf to read the updated content, quits the interface of the electronic reading material after reading is finished, returns to the interface of the bookshelf, and then enters the interface of the next electronic reading material to read the updated content.
Disclosure of Invention
Due to the fact that frequent switching needs to be carried out between an electronic reading material interface and a bookshelf interface when a user reads the updated contents of a plurality of electronic reading materials in the prior art, the reading efficiency of the user is reduced by a tracking and updating mode provided by the prior art.
Therefore, in the prior art, the reading efficiency is low in the process of tracing the electronic reading materials, which is a very annoying process.
Therefore, an improved method for tracing an electronic reading material is highly needed, so that the reading efficiency is improved when the electronic reading material is traced.
In this context, embodiments of the present invention are intended to provide a method and apparatus for electronic reading matter tracing.

In a second aspect of the embodiments of the present invention, there is provided a second method for tracing an electronic reading material, including:
receiving an indication that a user adds at least one electronic reading material to the tracking area through an entrance preset for each electronic reading material; and are
Adding the at least one electronic reading to the chase zone; wherein the tracking area is used for providing an access entrance for intensively accessing the updated content of the at least one electronic reading material.
In a third aspect of the embodiments of the present invention, there is provided one of apparatuses for chasing up electronic readings, including:
the indication receiving module is used for receiving an operation indication for checking the tracking area by the representation of the user; wherein the tracking area is used for providing an access entrance for intensively accessing the updated content of the at least one electronic reading material;
and the updating display module is used for sequentially displaying the updating content of the electronic readings generating the content updating in the at least one electronic reading aiming at the condition that the content updating of the at least two electronic readings exists according to the operation instruction.
In a fourth aspect of the embodiments of the present invention, there is provided a second electronic reading material chasing apparatus, including:
the instruction receiving module is used for receiving an instruction of adding at least one electronic reading material into the tracking area by a user through an entrance which is preset for each electronic reading material;
an adding module for adding the at least one electronic reading to the chasing zone; wherein the tracking area is used for providing an access entrance for intensively accessing the updated content of the at least one electronic reading material.
According to one method for tracing the electronic reading materials, the operation instruction of checking the tracing area by the representation of a user is received; according to the operation instruction, the updating contents of the electronic readings generating the content updating are sequentially displayed when at least two electronic readings generate the content updating. In the embodiment of the invention, the tracking area is preset so as to provide an access entrance for intensively accessing the updated content of the electronic reading materials in the tracking area, so that when the content of the electronic reading materials in the tracking area is updated, a user can sequentially read the updated content of the electronic reading materials with updated content by entering the tracking area without frequently switching between an electronic reading material interface and a bookshelf interface, the reading efficiency is improved, and better experience is brought to the user.

Rather, embodiments of the present invention may be applied to any scenario where applicable.
FIG. 2 is a schematic flow chart illustrating a method for tracking an electronic reading material according to an embodiment of the present invention; the execution subject may be the terminal 101 and/or the content providing server 102 in the application scene overview, and the following describes a flow of a method for tracking and updating electronic readings provided by the embodiment of the present invention with reference to this figure.
As shown in fig. 2, the method for tracing an electronic reading material according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the following steps:
s201, receiving an operation instruction of a user for checking the tracking area by the representation.
Wherein the tracking area is used for providing an access entrance for intensively accessing the updated content of the at least one electronic reading material.
In this step, the operation instruction for representing to view the update area may be at least one operation instruction for the update area, and may include: an operation of accessing the chasing area, a page turning operation when reading the updated contents, and the like, and in response to these operations, the user is made to collectively access the contents updated by the electronic reading material that generates the content update.
Further, the tracking area is an access entry provided for a user to access the updated content of the electronic reading materials in the tracking area, and in a specific implementation, a dedicated storage space may be allocated for the tracking area to store the updated content of the electronic reading materials in the tracking area, or the tracking area may not be allocated with the dedicated storage space to store the updated content, but directly link to the updated content of the electronic reading materials in the tracking area through the tracking area.
And S202, according to the operation instruction received in S201, sequentially displaying the updated content of the electronic readings with updated content in at least one electronic reading aiming at the condition that at least two electronic readings generate content updating.
In the embodiment of the invention, the tracking area is provided in the reading software, the tracking area provides an access entry for a user to intensively access the updated content of at least one electronic reading material, the updated content of the electronic reading material with updated content can be sequentially and continuously presented through accessing the tracking area, and the updated content of the electronic reading material with updated content is sequentially read without frequently switching between an electronic reading material interface and a bookshelf interface, so that the reading efficiency is improved, and better experience is brought to the user.
Fig. 3 is a schematic flowchart of another embodiment of the method for tracking and updating electronic readings provided by the present invention, and an executing subject may be the terminal 101 and/or the content providing server 102 in an overview of an application scenario, and a description is given below with reference to the flowchart of the method for tracking and updating electronic readings provided by the embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 3, the method for tracing an electronic reading material according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the following steps:
s301, monitoring the updated content generated by at least one electronic reading material in the tracking area.
Wherein the tracking area is used for providing an access entrance for intensively accessing the updated content of the at least one electronic reading material.
Further, in this step, since the updated content of the electronic reading is usually stored in the server providing the electronic reading (for example, the content server 102), in this step, when it is monitored that any electronic reading generates a content update, the updated content may be downloaded to the terminal 101 and stored in the local disk, when the user accesses the chasing area, the updated content may be directly obtained from the local disk and provided for the user to read, or the updated content may not be downloaded, and when the user accesses the chasing area, the updated content may be obtained from the server (for example, the content server 102) and provided for the user to read.
The executing agent of this embodiment may be the terminal 101 or the content providing server 102, and when the executing agent is the content providing server 102, before executing this step, the following steps may be further executed:
and acquiring information of at least one electronic reading material which is added into the tracking area currently.
The information of the electronic reading material can include an electronic reading material identification number, and the identification number can uniquely identify one electronic reading material and is used when the electronic reading material is operated (for example, the monitoring operation in the step). Further, the obtained electronic reading material information can also comprise the name and the sequencing information of the electronic reading material, or the sequencing information of the electronic reading material.
Further, regarding the sequencing information of the electronic readings, the sequencing order of the electronic readings in the tracking area can be considered to reflect the interest degree of the user in the electronic readings, that is, the more front electronic readings are arranged, the more interest the user is in the electronic readings. Then, the sequencing information of the electronic readings in the tracking area can be used for sequentially and continuously displaying the sequence of the updated contents of the electronic readings generating the content update in the at least one electronic reading when the subsequent user accesses the tracking area, namely, the updated contents of the electronic readings which are more interesting to the user are displayed with higher priority.
Preferably, in this step, at least one electronic reading material in the tracking area may be polled according to the determined sorting information to determine whether the at least one electronic reading material generates a content update, and in specific implementation, at least one electronic reading material in the tracking area may be added to the queue according to the determined sorting information, and the polling operation may be implemented based on the queue.
S302, responding to the situation that the content of any electronic reading material in the at least one electronic reading material is monitored to be updated, and prompting the user for updating.
In specific implementation, as shown in fig. 4, an icon may be set for the tracking area on a preset page (e.g., a "bookshelf" function page) of the reading software, and a user may access the tracking area by operating the icon. The number of electronic readings generating the content update, or the number of chapters of different electronic readings generating the content update, etc. may be displayed at the tracking area icon to prompt the user. The user may access the tracking area according to his or her own intention without performing this step. The manner of performing the update prompt is only an example and is not intended to limit the present invention.
The following steps S303 to S309 may be an embodiment of "displaying, according to the operation instruction of viewing the update area according to the user' S characteristic, the updated content of the electronic readings generating content update in at least one electronic reading in sequence according to the sequence of the at least one electronic reading in the update area for the case that at least two electronic readings generate content update", where the sequence of the at least one electronic reading in the update area may be set according to the user instruction, or may be determined according to a preset condition, for example: the preset condition may be the popularity of the electronic reading material and the like.
And S303, responding to the instruction of the user for accessing the tracking area, sequentially inquiring whether the at least one electronic reading material generates content updating according to the sequence until a first electronic reading material generating the content updating is inquired.
Assume that there are four electronic readings currently in the tracking area: the electronic readings I and IV are sequentially ordered from first to last, and the electronic readings I and IV assume that the content of the electronic readings I and III is not updated and the content of the electronic readings II and IV is updated. In this step, the updating conditions of the electronic readings one to four need to be sequentially queried according to the sequence of the electronic readings one to four, so that the queried electronic reading with updated content is the electronic reading two, that is, the electronic reading two is determined as the first electronic reading.
And S304, displaying a first page of the updated content of the first electronic reading matter inquired in the S303.
In steps S303 to S304, when the user accesses the tracking area, the first page of the updated content of the first electronic reading is displayed to the user, and if the user accesses the tracking area by clicking an icon corresponding to the tracking area, the first page of the updated content of the first electronic reading is displayed to the user in response to the clicking operation.
Preferably, in order to enhance the user experience and make the user know clearly which electronic reading is being read, for any electronic reading generating content update, the front cover of the electronic reading can be displayed before the first page of the updated content of the electronic reading is displayed. Then, this step may be performed as:
and displaying the cover of the first electronic reading inquired in the S303.
The indication of the user for accessing the tracking area triggers the display of a first page (or a cover of the first electronic reading) of the updated content of the first electronic reading to the user, and the updated content of the first electronic reading may be more than one page, so that the subsequent user can continue to read the updated content of the first electronic reading through a page-backward operation. In subsequent steps S305 to S309, each time the page turning-back instruction of the user is received, the following page turning-back operation is executed to respond to the page turning-back instruction:
if the updating content of the currently displayed electronic reading is not completely displayed, displaying the next page of the currently displayed page of the electronic reading;
and if the updated content of the currently displayed electronic reading is completely displayed, sequentially inquiring whether the electronic reading after the currently displayed electronic reading generates content update or not according to the sequence until a first second electronic reading generating content update is inquired. In another embodiment, the inquiry about whether the content update is generated is carried out in real time in the background, and when the updated content of the first electronic reading material is displayed completely in response to the indication that the user accesses the updating area, the updated content of the second electronic reading material is displayed directly in the background.
Therefore, when the updating content of the currently displayed electronic reading is displayed, the user does not need to exit the tracking area to select the next electronic reading, and can directly display the updating content of the next reading according to the sequencing.
Further, the user may also perform other operations in the process of reading the updated content of the electronic reading material in the tracking area, for example: stopping the operation of exiting the chasing area by turning pages, or turning pages forward, and the like. For the page forward turning operation, when the currently read electronic reading is not displayed completely, in response to the page forward turning operation, a page previous to the current page may be displayed, and when the currently read electronic reading is displayed completely, in response to the page forward turning operation, an updated content (possibly read by a user) of the electronic reading whose content is updated and which is ordered before the currently read electronic reading in the tracking area may be displayed, or a content of a chapter before the updated content of the currently read electronic reading may be displayed.
S305, receiving a backward page turning instruction of the user.
S306, judging whether the updated content of the currently displayed electronic reading is displayed completely, if so, entering the step S308; otherwise, the process proceeds to step S307.
And S307, displaying the next page of the currently displayed electronic reading. The process advances to step S305.
And S308, sequentially inquiring whether the electronic readings behind the currently displayed electronic reading generate content updating or not according to the above sequence until a second electronic reading generating the content updating is inquired.
Continuing the above example, assuming that the updated content of the current electronic reading material two is completely displayed, sequentially querying the content updating conditions of the electronic reading materials three to four according to the sequence of the electronic reading materials three to four after the electronic reading material two, and then determining the queried electronic reading material with the updated content as the electronic reading material four, namely determining the electronic reading material four as the second electronic reading material.
In this step, if any second electronic reading material generating content update is not queried, it can be considered that the update content of the electronic reading material generating content update is already displayed, and this process is ended. The user can exit the tracking area and return to the bookshelf, or a prompt message is displayed to the user, and the user selects a page needing to be jumped.
And S309, taking the second electronic reading matter inquired in the S308 as the currently displayed electronic reading matter, and displaying a first page of the updated content of the second electronic reading matter inquired in the S308. The process advances to step S305.
Preferably, in order to make the user know clearly which electronic reading material the user is reading, for any electronic reading material generating content update, the front cover of the electronic reading material can be displayed before the first page of the updated content of the electronic reading material is displayed. Then, this step may be performed as:
and displaying the cover of the second electronic reading inquired in the S308.
FIG. 5 is a schematic flow chart illustrating a method for tracking an electronic reading material according to another embodiment of the present invention; in the embodiment, the execution main body may be the terminal 101 in the application scene overview through the operation entry provided for the user to set the update area in the reading software, and the following describes a flow of the update method for the electronic reading material provided by the embodiment of the present invention with reference to this drawing.
As shown in fig. 5, the method for tracing an electronic reading material according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the following steps:
and S501, receiving an instruction of adding at least one electronic reading material to the tracking area by a user through an entrance preset for each electronic reading material.
And S502, adding at least one electronic reading material in the S501 into the chasing area.
Wherein the tracking area is used for providing an access entrance for intensively accessing the updated content of the at least one electronic reading material.
In this embodiment, an operation entry for adding the tracking area may be provided for each electronic reading downloaded by the user, as shown in fig. 6, in a specific implementation, an option for adding the tracking area may be added to an operation menu of each electronic reading, and when the user selects the option, the corresponding electronic reading may be added to the tracking area.
FIG. 7 is a schematic flow chart illustrating a further embodiment of a method for tracking an electronic reading material according to the present invention; in fig. 7, more operation entries for setting the tracking area are provided for the user in the reading software, and the execution subject may be the terminal 101 in the overview of the application scenario, and the following describes a flow of the tracking method for electronic readings according to the embodiment of the present invention with reference to this drawing.
As shown in fig. 7, the method for tracing an electronic reading material according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the following steps:
and S701, receiving an instruction of adding at least one electronic reading material to the tracking area by a user through an entrance preset for each electronic reading material.
Wherein the tracking area is used for providing an access entrance for intensively accessing the updated content of the at least one electronic reading material.
S702, adding at least one electronic reading material in the S701 into the chasing zone.
And S703, adding the sequence of the at least one electronic reading material in the S701 to the updating area by the user, and determining the sequence of the display updating content of the at least one electronic reading material.
In this step, the sequence of adding the electronic readings by the user can be considered, and the interest degree of the user in the electronic readings is reflected, that is, the more the electronic readings in the tracking area are added, the more the user is interested in the electronic readings. Then, when the subsequent user visits the chasing area, the sequence of the updated content of the electronic readings generating content updating in the at least one electronic reading is sequentially and continuously displayed according to the sequencing information of the electronic readings in the chasing area, namely, the updated content of the electronic reading which is more interesting to the user is displayed preferentially.
And S704, receiving an instruction of a user for adjusting the arrangement sequence of at least one electronic reading material added into the tracking area through a preset entrance.
In this step, since the user may not add the electronic books to the tracking area in the order from the highest interest level to the lowest interest level, or the user finds a new electronic reading and currently has the highest interest level in the use process of the tracking area, the order of the electronic reading in the tracking area needs to be adjusted.
S705, adjusting the arrangement sequence of the at least one electronic reading material.
And S706, determining the adjusted arrangement sequence as the sequence of the display update contents of the at least one electronic reading material.
When the user does not send the instruction for adjusting the arrangement sequence of at least one electronic reading material added to the tracking area, steps S704-706 may not be executed.
Further, the embodiment of the present invention may also provide more entries for setting the electronic readings in the tracking area for the user, for example: an interface for deleting the electronic reading materials in the tracking area may be provided, for example, a specific operation (e.g., right click operation) on the tracking area icon may be set as an operation entry (e.g., sequence adjustment operation, deletion operation, etc.) for the electronic reading materials in the tracking area, which is only an example and is not limiting.
Exemplary device
