The principles and spirit of the present invention are explained in detail below with reference to several representative embodiments of the invention.
Summary of The Invention
The present inventors have found that, in order to facilitate a user to archive a received email, in the prior art, a mailbox client allows the user to classify the received email by a customized email filtering rule, for example, the user may customize a mail folder, classify the received email by a sender address, classify the received email according to a certain keyword, and so on, according to the filtering rule customized by the user, the received email is classified under the corresponding mail folder, and the archived email is no longer displayed in an inbox. Therefore, for the received unread mails, the user can only switch and check among different mail folders, but cannot intensively check the unread mails, and the mail processing efficiency is reduced.
In view of this, an embodiment of the present invention provides an email display method, where an attribute flag is added to an attribute of each folder defined by a user, where the attribute flag identifies that unread emails are synchronously displayed in an inbox, and a switch is set for the attribute flag, if the attribute flag is in an open state, the unread emails in the folder are synchronously displayed in the inbox, and if the attribute flag is in a closed state, the unread emails in the folder are not synchronously displayed in the inbox. Alternatively, if the attribute flag is in the closed state, whether to synchronously display unread mails in the folder in the inbox may refer to other attributes of the folder.
Having described the general principles of the invention, various non-limiting embodiments of the invention are described in detail below.
Application scene overview
Fig. 1 is a schematic view of an application scenario according to an embodiment of the present invention. The user 10 logs in the email server 12 through a client installed in the user device 11, where the client may be a browser or a client installed in a terminal, such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a PC, or the like.
The user equipment 11 and the email server 12 are communicatively connected through a network, which may be a local area network, a wide area network, or the like. The user device 11 may be a portable device (e.g., a mobile phone, a tablet, a notebook, etc.) or a Personal Computer (PC), and the email server 12 may be any device capable of providing internet services.
The user 10 obtains a user name by registering with the email server 12 by using the user equipment 11, the email server 12 stores the user name and a user password set by the user 10 as authentication information after the user registration is successful, when the subsequent user 10 logs in the email server 12 again by using the user equipment 11, the email server 12 returns a login page to the client, the user inputs authentication information (namely the user name and the user password) on the login page displayed by the client and submits the authentication information to the email server 12, and the email server 12 compares whether the authentication information submitted by the user is consistent with the authentication information stored by the user when the user registers so as to determine whether the user is allowed to log in.
After the user successfully registers, a plurality of folders can be established and named according to own needs, meanwhile, the user can also set corresponding filtering rules aiming at each established folder, and if the received e-mails hit the set filtering rules, the e-mails are filed to the corresponding folders for displaying. For example, a user establishes a certain folder named as an important client, and sets a filtering rule corresponding to the folder as @ abc.com of a mailbox suffix of a sender, after receiving an email, if the mailbox of the email sender is judged to be @ abc.com, the email is filed to the important client folder for display. Of course, in specific implementation, the user may manually archive the received email, that is, the user archives the received email into a folder selected by the user.
As shown in fig. 2, 3 and 4, which are schematic diagrams of displaying an email in an inbox, displaying an email in folder 1 and displaying an email in folder 2, respectively.
In the embodiment of the invention, in order to facilitate the user to intensively check the unread mails and improve the check efficiency of the unread mails, the following three states can be set for the user to select for each folder established by the user:
the method comprises the following steps that 1, the e-mails in the folder are synchronously displayed in an inbox, namely, the e-mails in the inbox are displayed in the inbox no matter the reading state of the e-mails is the read state or the unread state;
state 2, synchronously displaying the unread e-mails in the folder in the inbox, namely deleting the e-mails from the inbox if the reading state of the e-mails in the inbox is changed from the unread state to the read state;
state 3, email in the folder is not displayed in the inbox.
In specific implementation, for each folder, the corresponding folder is managed according to the attribute tag selected by the user.
Exemplary method
An email display method according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention is described below with reference to fig. 5 in conjunction with the application scenario of fig. 1. It should be noted that the above application scenarios are merely illustrated for the convenience of understanding the spirit and principles of the present invention, and the embodiments of the present invention are not limited in this respect. Rather, embodiments of the present invention may be applied to any scenario where applicable.
As shown in fig. 5, which is a schematic implementation flow diagram of an email display method provided by an embodiment of the present invention, the method may include the following steps:
s51, when receiving the e-mail, aiming at the e-mail filed in any preset folder, obtaining the preset attribute mark corresponding to the folder.
And S52, determining whether to synchronously display the e-mail in the inbox according to the acquired attribute marks.
Optionally, the attribute flag corresponding to the folder includes at least one of the following: synchronously displaying all the emails contained in the folder in an inbox, synchronously displaying the unread emails contained in the folder in the inbox, and not displaying the emails contained in the folder in the inbox.
And if the attribute marks corresponding to the folder synchronously display all the e-mails contained in the folder in the selected state in the inbox, synchronously displaying the received e-mails in the inbox. And if the attribute mark corresponding to the folder synchronously displays that the unread e-mail contained in the folder is in the selected state in the inbox, synchronously displaying the received e-mail in the inbox when the reading state of the received e-mail is in the unread state. If the attribute mark corresponding to the folder does not show that the e-mail contained in the folder is in the selected state in the inbox, the received e-mail only needs to be archived, and the received e-mail is not displayed in the inbox.
In a specific implementation, in step S51, the received email may be archived into any preset folder according to the following procedure:
step one, when receiving the e-mail, judging whether the received e-mail meets any preset mail filtering rule, if so, executing step two, otherwise, executing step three.
In the step, when the e-mail is received, whether the received e-mail meets any preset mail filtering rule is judged firstly, if yes, the received e-mail is filed to a corresponding folder for displaying, and if not, the received e-mail is displayed in an inbox.
And step two, archiving the e-mails to the folders corresponding to the mail filtering rules which are met by the e-mails, and ending the process.
And step three, displaying the received e-mail in the inbox.
Of course, in implementation, the user may manually file the received email into a preset folder.
Further, interference information displayed by the e-mail is reduced in order to facilitate user management of the received e-mail. In the embodiment of the invention, if the unread e-mails in the folder are determined to be synchronously displayed in the inbox according to the preset attribute marks corresponding to the folder, the reading state of the e-mails can be monitored; and if the reading state of the e-mail is monitored to be changed from the unread state to the read state, deleting the e-mail from the inbox. Specifically, for unread mails synchronously displayed in an inbox and a folder, when the state of the e-mail is changed from the unread state to the read state, the e-mail is not displayed in the inbox any more, so that the interference on reading other e-mails due to too many e-mails in the inbox is avoided.
In specific implementation, when the inbox is opened, attribute marks corresponding to created folders can be respectively determined; and synchronously displaying all the e-mails contained in the folders in the inbox aiming at the corresponding attribute marks or synchronously displaying the folders of the unread e-mails contained in the folders in the inbox, and displaying the corresponding e-mails in the inbox according to the attribute marks corresponding to the folders.
In the embodiment of the invention, for the e-mails filed in any preset folder, a user can freely select whether to synchronously display the unread e-mails in the inbox according to own requirements, so that for the unimportant e-mails, the user can control the unread e-mails not to be displayed in the inbox through the attribute marks of the folder, interference information is reduced, and for the important e-mails, the user can control the unread e-mails to be synchronously displayed in the inbox through the attribute marks of the folder, so that the processing efficiency of the important unread e-mails is improved. In order to further reduce interference information, aiming at the electronic mails which are required to be synchronously displayed in the inbox and are determined according to the acquired attribute marks, a user can also set whether the read electronic mails need to be displayed or not according to the reading state of the electronic mails.
