Abstract
本发明提供一种像素排列结构,包括多个像素单元,每个像素单元包括第一子像素、第二子像素、第三子像素与第四子像素,所述第四子像素为三角形,所述第一子像素、第二子像素、第三子像素分别排列于所述第四子像素的周围,并且分别与所述第四子像素共用其三条边。本发明的像素排列结构,通过增加白色子像素,能够提高面板的穿透率,降低显示器能耗,同时有利于亚像素渲染算法的实施,可提升虚拟分辨率。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及显示技术领域,尤其涉及一种像素排列结构。
背景技术
液晶显示装置(Liquid Crystal Display,LCD)具有机身薄、省电、无辐射等众多优点,得到了广泛的应用,如:移动电话、个人数字助理(PDA)、数字相机、计算机屏幕或笔记本电脑屏幕等。
现有市场上的液晶显示装置大部分为背光型液晶显示器,其包括液晶显示面板及背光模组(backlight module)。液晶显示面板的工作原理是在两片平行的玻璃基板当中放置液晶分子,两片玻璃基板中间有许多垂直和水平的细小电线,通过通电与否来控制液晶分子改变方向,将背光模组的光线折射出来产生画面。
OLED(Organic Light-Emitting Diode,有机发光二极管)显示器,也称为有机电致发光显示器,是一种新兴的平板显示装置,由于其具有制备工艺简单、成本低、功耗低、发光亮度高、工作温度适应范围广、体积轻薄、响应速度快,而且易于实现彩色显示和大屏幕显示、易于实现和集成电路驱动器相匹配、易于实现柔性显示等优点,因而具有广阔的应用前景。
OLED按照驱动方式可以分为无源矩阵型OLED(Passive Matrix OLED,PMOLED)和有源矩阵型OLED(Active Matrix OLED,AMOLED)两大类,即直接寻址和薄膜晶体管矩阵寻址两类。其中,AMOLED具有呈阵列式排布的像素,属于主动显示类型,发光效能高,通常用作高清晰度的大尺寸显示装置。
现有的液晶显示面板与OLED显示面板的像素排列结构通常包括多个重复排列的像素单元,每个像素单元包括依次排列的红色子像素、绿色子像素及蓝色子像素,然而,随着面板优化显示算法的发展,对于面板像素(Pixel)排列的要求越来越高,不同的排列方式对色彩的感知或者虚拟分辨率的效果存在较大的差异。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种像素排列结构,能够提高面板的穿透率,降低显示器能耗,同时有利于亚像素渲染算法的实施,可提升虚拟分辨率。
为实现上述目的,本发明提供一种像素排列结构,包括多个像素单元,每个像素单元包括第一子像素、第二子像素、第三子像素与第四子像素,所述第四子像素为三角形,所述第一子像素、第二子像素、第三子像素分别排列于所述第四子像素的周围,并且分别与所述第四子像素共用其三条边。
所述第四子像素为等边三角形,所述第一子像素、第二子像素、第三子像素均为五边形,且形状和大小完全相同。
所述第四子像素包括与所述第一子像素共用的第一边、与所述第二子像素共用的第二边、以及与所述第三子像素共用的第三边;
所述第一子像素包括第一边、分别垂直连接所述第一边的两端点的第四边与第五边、以及分别连接所述第四边与第五边的另一端点的第六边与第七边,所述第六边与第七边具有一共同端点,所述第四边、第五边、第六边、第七边的长度相等,所述第一边的长度为所述第四边的长度的倍。
所述多个像素单元排列为数行数列,每行像素单元中,相邻的两个像素单元的朝向相互颠倒,每列像素单元中,所有像素单元的朝向相同。
每行像素单元与每列像素单元中,相邻的两个像素单元共用边界,即二者之间不留间隙。
所述第四子像素为白色子像素,所述第一子像素、第二子像素、第三子像素分别为红色子像素、绿色子像素、蓝色子像素中任一,且所述第一子像素、第二子像素、第三子像素的颜色相异。
本发明的有益效果:本发明提供的一种像素排列结构,通过增加白色子像素,能够提高面板的穿透率,降低显示器能耗,同时有利于亚像素渲染算法的实施,可提升虚拟分辨率。

为更进一步阐述本发明所采取的技术手段及其效果,以下结合本发明的优选实施例及其附图进行详细描述。
请参阅图1与图2,本发明提供一种像素排列结构,包括多个像素单元100,每个像素单元100包括第一子像素10、第二子像素20、第三子像素30与第四子像素40,所述第四子像素40为三角形,所述第一子像素10、第二子像素20、第三子像素30分别排列于所述第四子像素40的周围,并且分别与所述第四子像素40共用其三条边。
所述第四子像素40为等边三角形,所述第一子像素10、第二子像素20、第三子像素30均为五边形,且形状和大小完全相同。
所述第四子像素40包括与所述第一子像素10共用的第一边41、与所述第二子像素20共用的第二边42、以及与所述第三子像素30共用的第三边43;
所述第一子像素10包括第一边41、分别垂直连接所述第一边41的两端点的第四边14与第五边15、以及分别连接所述第四边14与第五边15的另一端点的第六边16与第七边17,所述第六边16与第七边17具有一共同端点,所述第四边14、第五边15、第六边16、第七边17的长度相等,所述第一边41的长度为所述第四边14的长度的倍。
所述多个像素单元100排列为数行数列,每行像素单元100中,相邻的两个像素单元100的朝向相互颠倒,每列像素单元100中,所有像素单元100的朝向相同。
每行像素单元100与每列像素单元100中,相邻的两个像素单元100共用边界,即二者之间不留间隙。
所述第四子像素40为白色子像素,所述第一子像素10、第二子像素20、第三子像素30分别为红色子像素、绿色子像素、蓝色子像素中任一,且所述第一子像素10、第二子像素20、第三子像素30的颜色相异。
具体的,本发明的像素排列结构,通过增加白色子像素,能够提高面板的穿透率,降低显示器能耗。
当本发明的像素排列结构应用于亚像素渲染(Sub Pixel Rendering,SPR)算法时,像素排列结构中的一个像素单元100中的一个或多个子像素能够最大程度地借用周边的像素单元100中的子像素来组成新的像素单元,因此有利于亚像素渲染算法的实施,可提升虚拟分辨率。
如图3所示,对于由子像素1/2/3/4(分别对应第一子像素10、第二子像素20、第三子像素30与第四子像素40)构成的一个像素单元100,该像素单元100中的子像素2/3/4在横向上借用相邻像素单元100中的子像素5(对应第一子像素10)可以形成由子像素2/3/4/5构成的新像素单元,该像素单元100中的子像素1/2/4在横向上借用相邻像素单元100中的子像素7(对应第三子像素30)可以形成由子像素1/2/4/7构成的新像素单元,该像素单元100中的子像素2/4在横向上借用相邻像素单元100中的子像素5/7可以形成由子像素2/4/5/7构成的新像素单元;
另外,该像素单元100中的子像素2/3/4在纵向上借用相邻像素单元100中的子像素11(对应第一子像素10)可以形成由子像素2/3/4/11构成的新像素单元,该像素单元100中的子像素1/3/4在纵向上借用相邻像素单元100中的子像素12(对应第二子像素20)可以形成由子像素1/3/4/12构成的新像素单元,该像素单元100中的子像素3/4在纵向上借用相邻像素单元100中的子像素11/12可以形成由子像素3/4/11/12构成的新像素单元。
综上所述,本发明的像素排列结构,通过增加白色子像素,能够提高面板的穿透率,降低显示器能耗,同时有利于亚像素渲染算法的实施,可提升虚拟分辨率。

Claims (6)
1.一种像素排列结构,其特征在于,包括多个像素单元(100),每个像素单元(100)包括第一子像素(10)、第二子像素(20)、第三子像素(30)与第四子像素(40),所述第四子像素(40)为三角形,所述第一子像素(10)、第二子像素(20)、第三子像素(30)分别排列于所述第四子像素(40)的周围,并且分别与所述第四子像素(40)共用其三条边。
2.如权利要求1所述的像素排列结构,其特征在于,所述第四子像素(40)为等边三角形,所述第一子像素(10)、第二子像素(20)、第三子像素(30)均为五边形,且形状和大小完全相同。
3.如权利要求2所述的像素排列结构,其特征在于,所述第四子像素(40)包括与所述第一子像素(10)共用的第一边(41)、与所述第二子像素(20)共用的第二边(42)、以及与所述第三子像素(30)共用的第三边(43);
所述第一子像素(10)包括第一边(41)、分别垂直连接所述第一边(41)的两端点的第四边(14)与第五边(15)、以及分别连接所述第四边(14)与第五边(15)的另一端点的第六边(16)与第七边(17),所述第六边(16)与第七边(17)具有一共同端点,所述第四边(14)、第五边(15)、第六边(16)、第七边(17)的长度相等,所述第一边(41)的长度为所述第四边(14)的长度的倍。
4.如权利要求3所述的像素排列结构,其特征在于,所述多个像素单元(100)排列为数行数列,每行像素单元(100)中,相邻的两个像素单元(100)的朝向相互颠倒,每列像素单元(100)中,所有像素单元(100)的朝向相同。
5.如权利要求4所述的像素排列结构,其特征在于,每行像素单元(100)与每列像素单元(100)中,相邻的两个像素单元(100)共用边界,即二者之间不留间隙。
6.如权利要求1所述的像素排列结构,其特征在于,所述第四子像素(40)为白色子像素,所述第一子像素(10)、第二子像素(20)、第三子像素(30)分别为红色子像素、绿色子像素、蓝色子像素中任一,且所述第一子像素(10)、第二子像素(20)、第三子像素(30)的颜色相异。
