Abstract

态下释放出增香剂。
Description
已被开发和推荐的适于掺合到烟草制品中的增香剂是种类繁多的。作为例证的烟草增香剂可见如下美国专利:3,580,259;3,625,224;3,722,516;3,750,674;3,879,425;3,881,025;3,884,247;3,890,981;3,903,900;3,914,451;3,915,175;3,920,027;3,924,644;3,937,228;3,943,943;3,568,387;3,379,754,等等。
烟草制品中增香添加剂的高挥发度和容易升华已经给制造过程带来问题,而且由于在贮藏中增香剂的蒸发损失而缩短制品的贮藏寿命。
新近的开发工作已经包括用一种低挥发性有机添加剂掺合到吸烟制品中,该添加剂在吸烟状态下热解成一或多种分子碎片,该碎片起到改进主流烟草烟气味道与品质的作用,而在一些情况下起到间接改进侧流烟气芳香的作用。
U.S.3,312,226描述一种含有酯类添加剂,诸如l-甲基芳樟醇碳酸酯的吸烟制品。在吸烟状态下该碳酸酯热解释放出薄荷醇,该醇给主流烟气增加香味。
U.S.3,332,428和U.S.3,419,543描述一种含有乙二醇或糖化物的碳酸薄荷醇酯的抽吸用烟草制品,该酯在吸烟状态下分解,向主流烟雾中释放游离的薄荷醇。U.S.3,499,452公开报导了类似的抽吸用烟草制品,其中一种碳酸酯添加剂释放出不同于薄荷醇的增香挥发物。
防止吸烟制品增香添加剂过早挥发的另一实施方法是利用封装着一种增香剂的微胶囊,把微胶囊掺合到可燃的烟心中。此法的一个缺点是微胶囊从烟心分离出来的趋势使制品的增香剂含量变化无常。
U.S.4,889,144描述一种方法,其中封装增香剂的微胶囊不是掺到可燃的烟心中而是掺到卷烟的滤咀部分。增香剂的释放是通过向滤咀施加压力,使微胶囊破裂而释放出封装的增香剂来实现的。
有持续的研究工作来开发新的释香添加剂和低供应量的吸烟制品,该制品在吸烟状态下产生带有增强味道的主流烟气和带有好闻芳香的侧流烟气。
因此,本发明的一个目的是提供其中掺有一种释香组分的吸烟制品,该组分的特征在于在制品贮藏期间没有流动性的挥发性。
本发明的另一个目的是提供一种掺到卷烟制品的可燃烟心的,呈单丝形状的释香添加剂。
本发明的再一个目的是提供卷烟制品用单丝状释香添加剂的制造方法,该添加剂在正常的卷烟抽吸状态下把封装的增香剂释放出来。
本发明的其它目的和优点会由于下列说明和实施例而变得显而易见。
通过提供一种制造释香单丝的方法来达到本发明的一个或多个目的。该制造方法包括下列工序:(1)使增香化合物和多糖类粘合剂的含水混合物通过同轴内喷丝头挤压出来形成胶凝态芯体纤维;(2)使水溶性藻酸盐水溶液通过同轴外喷丝头同时“共同挤压”出来,把“共同延伸”的鞘层涂敷在芯体纤维上而形成连续单丝基体;(3)使单丝与一种钙的化合物水溶液接触,把单丝鞘层上的藻酸钠转化成不溶性的藻酸钙,从而封闭该增香剂;(4)使单丝置于干燥条件之下,从单丝基体上除去水分。
单丝中的增香剂含量在2-66%(重量)之间,根据单丝干重计算。
多糖类粘合剂在工序(1)中一般用量为含水混合物的0.5-5%(重量),品种选自诸如瓜耳胶,淀粉,阿拉伯胶,黄著胶,刺析豆胶,果胶,羧甲基纤维素,黄原胶之类的水溶性的或水分散性的多糖类。
藻酸盐在工序(2)中是诸如藻酸钠,藻酸钾,或藻酸铵之类的水溶性盐。
工序(3)中的水浴较好的是一种能溶解的钙的化合物诸如氯化钙,氢氧化钙,乙酸钙,葡糖酸钙等,的水溶液,溶液浓度为约5%(重量)或略高。
用本发明方法封装在单丝中的增香剂可选自各种各样已知的物质,诸如薄荷醇,甘草,丁香,茴香,肉桂,檀香,香叶,玫瑰油,香草,柠檬油,桂皮,留兰香,小茴香,姜等等。单丝中被封装的物质也可以释香化合物的形态存在,诸如U.S.3,312,226;3,499,452中公开报导的碳酸酯之类。
本发明的另一个实施方案中提供一种由芯基体和“共同延伸”鞘层组成的新的单丝制品,其中的芯基体包含增香化合物,藻酸钠和藻酸钙的混合物,而鞘层包含密实的藻酸钙薄膜。单丝的直径在约60-600微米之间,鞘层厚度在约5-20微米之间。
本发明单丝的芯基体可具有串珠结构形态的含增香剂的芯体混合物与不含增香剂芯体混合物的交替部分。在同轴液流的形成阶段用脉冲把增香剂液流输送到与芯体藻酸钠溶液的掺合物中而构成串珠形态的。
在本发明的另一个实施方案中提供一种有可燃烟心基体的卷烟制品,该烟心基体选自天然烟草,复原烟草和烟草代用品,而烟心基体中含有一种与其长度“共同延伸”的释香单丝,该单丝由芯体和共同延伸的鞘层组成,而芯体包含一种增香化合物,藻酸钠和藻酸钙的混合物,鞘层包含密实的藻酸钙薄膜;其中该单丝在正常的吸烟状态下把增香化合物以烟的挥发组分形式释放出来。
本发明的卷烟制品可以用常规的卷烟制造装置来生产。在卷取机上的释香单丝,向与可燃烟心进料流协调的移动卷烟包装带连续进给。可以使用一条以上的单丝进给线把多条单丝插入最终制品中。单丝的长度在卷烟剪切阶段会与烟丝条的长度相同。
本发明的卷烟制品除易于制作之外还有若干优点。在装卸与贮藏时单丝不会移动,消除了增香添加剂从可燃烟心中分离出来的问题。在卷烟制品的贮藏期间基本上没有挥发型增香剂诸如薄荷醇的迁移。这就有可能在薄荷醇卷烟上采用活性炭滤咀而根本不会伤害碳的吸附活性。
在正常的吸烟状态下能够有效地向主流烟气中释放增香剂。
下列实施例进一步具体说明本发明。组分和特种拼料是常用的,鉴于上述公开报导,在本发有的范围之内能够得出种种修改形态。
实施例
本实施例具体说明按照本发明,一种含有封装薄荷增香剂的单丝的制备方法。
制备一种含有2%(重量)的Kelgin LV藻酸钠(Xelco,芝加哥,伊利诺斯州)水溶液。把合成薄荷醇(熔点约42℃)注入第1供应罐(用烧热的水浴围住)加热到熔融状态。把藻酸钠注入第二供应罐(同样用热水浴围住)。第3供应罐中注入附加的藻酸钠溶液。超声波搅拌烧热的水浴以便除去藻酸钠溶液中夹杂的小空气泡。所有的供应罐都用空气加压到表压5.5×105Pa(80psi),为向用来进给喷丝头装置的三个“Zenith”计量泵的强制进料提供保证。

完全干燥后,分析单丝试样,得知其薄荷醇含量为约4-5%(重量)。单丝截面的电子显微照片表明,有封闭室结构的中央芯体由比较均匀密实的藻酸钙鞘膜包围着。
在另一个实施方案中,在同轴液流的形成阶段用脉冲把薄荷醇/藻酸钠乳液构成单丝芯体中的串珠结构形态。
Claims (8)
1、一种释香剂,其特征在于该剂包含一种由芯体和共同延伸的鞘层组成的单丝,该芯体是增香化合物和多糖类粘合剂的混合物,该鞘层是密实的藻酸盐薄膜。
2、权利要求1的释香剂,其特征在于该剂的单丝直径在60微米-600微米之间,鞘层厚度在5微米-20微米之间。
3、权利要求1的释香剂,其特征在于芯体包括成为串珠结构形态的交替地含增香剂和不含增香剂的基体部分。
4、权利要求1的释香剂,其特征在于芯基体中的增香剂为薄荷醇。
5、一种释香剂的制造方法,其特征在于:
使一种增香化合物和多糖类粘合剂的含水混合物通过同轴内喷丝头挤出,形成胶凝态芯体纤维;
同时使一种水溶性藻酸盐的水溶液通过同轴外喷丝头共同挤出,在芯体纤维上涂敷共同延伸的鞘层、形成一种连续的单丝基体;
使单丝与一种鲈的化合物水溶液接触,把单丝鞘层上的藻酸钠转化成不溶性的藻酸钙而封闭该增香剂。
6、权利要求5的方法,其特征在于单丝中该增香剂的含量在2-65%(重量)之间,根据单丝干重计算。
7、权利要求5的方法,其特征在于该含水钙的化合物为氯化钙或氢氧化钙。
8、一种卷烟,包含选自天然烟草,复原烟草和烟草代用品的可燃烟心基体,和含在该烟心基体中的释香剂,其特征在于该释香剂包括权利要求1-4的任何一项所要求的一根或者多根单丝,该单丝随着烟心基体的长度同时延伸。
