According to an aspect of an embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a vehicle steering wheel including: a first fingerprint identification unit for reading first fingerprint information from a first finger of a user; a second fingerprint identification unit for reading second fingerprint information from a second finger of the user while the first fingerprint identification unit reads the first fingerprint information; the fingerprint matching unit is used for comparing the first fingerprint information and the second fingerprint information with a first fingerprint template and a second fingerprint template which are stored in advance respectively; and the starting unit is used for starting the ignition system of the vehicle under the condition that the first fingerprint information matches the first fingerprint template and the second fingerprint information matches the second fingerprint template.
According to the vehicle steering wheel provided by the embodiment of the invention, the first fingerprint information and the second fingerprint information of two different fingers of a user can be detected at the same time, and the ignition system is started under the condition that the fingerprint information of the two different fingers is verified, so that the safety of a vehicle is improved.
And, because the fingerprint identification unit is set up on the steering wheel of the vehicle, users can finish fingerprint identification and matching with the posture of putting both hands on the steering wheel according to the common habit, and does not need the process of pressing and discerning the fingerprint carelessly, thus will not have unnatural feeling, this has improved the convenience that the vehicle uses undoubtedly.
FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of a fingerprint identification system in a vehicle steering wheel, according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, a vehicle steering wheel according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a fingerprint identification system 100, which may be embodied as a fingerprint identification module, for example. The fingerprint recognition system 100 specifically includes: a first fingerprint identification unit 101 for reading first fingerprint information from a first finger of a user; a second fingerprint identification unit 102 configured to read second fingerprint information from a second finger of the user while the first fingerprint identification unit 101 reads the first fingerprint information; a fingerprint matching unit 103, configured to compare the first fingerprint information read by the first fingerprint identification unit 101 and the second fingerprint information read by the second fingerprint identification unit 102 with a first fingerprint template and a second fingerprint template stored in advance, respectively; and a starting unit 104, configured to start the ignition system of the vehicle when the fingerprint matching unit 103 determines that the first fingerprint information matches the first fingerprint template, and the second fingerprint information matches the second fingerprint template.
In most vehicles, especially vehicles such as cars, trucks and the like, the steering wheel is close to the central control system for ignition, and in some vehicles, the steering wheel is provided with an electronic control system, such as a volume adjusting button, an air conditioning adjusting button and the like, and the fingerprint identification system of the embodiment of the invention can use the existing electronic circuit. Furthermore, since the keyhole of an existing vehicle is typically located near the steering wheel, locating the fingerprint identification system in the steering wheel also does not require significant modification to the electronic control system of the entire vehicle. In this way, the cost of the fingerprint recognition system used in the vehicle can be improved, and the performance of the vehicle having the fingerprint recognition system is also improved due to the simplified circuit configuration.
In the vehicle steering wheel according to the embodiment of the present invention, the first fingerprint template and the second fingerprint template are stored in a memory in advance, for example, the memory may be a memory included in the fingerprint matching unit or a memory integrated with the fingerprint identification module, or the memory may be provided in an electronic control system provided in the steering wheel itself. When the user makes an initial setting, a fingerprint is input by the user through the first fingerprint identification unit and the second fingerprint identification unit, and stored in the memory as a first fingerprint template and a second fingerprint template.
In the vehicle steering wheel, the first fingerprint recognition unit and the second fingerprint recognition unit are respectively arranged on the inner side of the upper part of the rim of the steering wheel.
Fig. 2 is a schematic view of a vehicle steering wheel provided with a fingerprint recognition unit according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 2, the fingerprint recognition unit 20 is preferably disposed on the upper portion of the rim 10 of the steering wheel, since this is where the user's fingers are normally located when holding the steering wheel, especially when the vehicle is in a stationary state. The fingerprint recognition unit can be arranged at different positions according to different fingers of a user who collects fingerprints by the fingerprint recognition unit. For example, when the fingerprint recognition unit collects fingerprints of thumbs of the left and right hands of the user, the fingerprint identification units may be respectively disposed at outer sides of upper portions of rims of the steering wheel, i.e., at sides facing the driver. When the fingerprint recognition unit collects the fingerprints of the index finger or the middle finger of the left hand and the right hand of the user, the fingerprint identification units can be respectively arranged at the inner sides of the upper parts of the rims of the steering wheel, namely, the sides back to the driver. In addition, although not shown in fig. 2, the fingerprint recognition unit is preferably disposed inside the rim of the steering wheel, so that when a user holds the steering wheel, a finger can naturally contact the fingerprint recognition unit, thereby achieving reading of fingerprint information, facilitating user's convenience. And, when the fingerprint recognition unit is disposed inside the rim of the steering wheel, it does not greatly affect the appearance of the steering wheel.
In addition, it can be understood by those skilled in the art that in the case where the fingerprint recognition unit is disposed inside the rim of the steering wheel, when the user holds the steering wheel, the user's thumb or index or middle finger may contact the fingerprint recognition unit, and therefore, in the steering wheel of a vehicle according to an embodiment of the present invention, it is not limited which finger of the user is read, and the user may perform a preliminary setting according to his own needs.
In the above vehicle steering wheel, further comprising: the fingerprint timing unit is used for determining whether the time for pressing the first fingerprint identification unit by the first finger and the time for pressing the second fingerprint identification unit by the second finger are greater than a first threshold value; and the starting unit is used for starting the ignition system of the vehicle under the condition that the first fingerprint information is matched with the first fingerprint template, the second fingerprint information is matched with the second fingerprint template, and the time for pressing the first fingerprint identification unit by the first finger and the time for pressing the second fingerprint identification unit by the second finger are greater than the first threshold value.
In the steering wheel of a vehicle according to an embodiment of the present invention, in order to avoid false triggering of the ignition system, an additional triggering condition may be further set. In fact, since the action of the user placing both hands on the steering wheel is not likely to be made in other situations than to express the user's desire to drive the vehicle. Therefore, in the solution according to an embodiment of the invention, the probability of false triggering of the ignition system due to unintentional operation by the user is already low. However, since false triggering of the ignition system may cause danger to the user and others, it is apparent that the safety of the vehicle can be further improved by further setting additional trigger conditions.
Also, it can be understood by those skilled in the art that other conditions can be applied to determine whether to start the ignition system of the vehicle together with the time when the finger of the user presses the fingerprint recognition unit, and the vehicle is started only in case of success of the determination, and the present invention is not intended to limit this in any way.
In the above vehicle steering wheel, further comprising: and the forbidding unit is used for forbidding the first fingerprint identification unit, the second fingerprint identification unit, the fingerprint matching unit and the starting unit under the condition that the vehicle is detected to be in the driving state.
When the vehicle is in a driving state, it is obviously no longer necessary to start the ignition system, but the fingerprint identification system consisting of the first fingerprint identification unit, the second fingerprint identification unit, the fingerprint matching unit and the starting unit is also in an idle state at this time. Therefore, in order to reduce power consumption and safety concerns, it is preferable to disable the fingerprint recognition system during driving of the vehicle, or to turn off the power supply of the fingerprint recognition system so that the ignition system of the vehicle is not falsely triggered.
In the above vehicle steering wheel, further comprising: a stopping unit for reactivating the first fingerprint identifying unit, the second fingerprint identifying unit, the fingerprint matching unit and the starting unit in the case where it is detected that the vehicle is changed from the running state to the stopped state; a stall determination unit for determining whether the vehicle satisfies a stall condition; and the starting unit is used for triggering the ignition system of the vehicle to flameout under the condition that the first fingerprint information is matched with the first fingerprint template, the second fingerprint information is matched with the second fingerprint template, and the vehicle meets the flameout condition.
The fingerprint identification system according to the embodiment of the invention can be used for controlling the ignition system of the vehicle to be switched off in addition to triggering the ignition system of the vehicle to be ignited, and the process is similar to the process of starting the ignition system of the vehicle, and fingerprint identification and verification are also required. In addition, also for safety reasons, since accidental flameouts may have serious consequences during the travel of the vehicle if they occur, it is preferable to reactivate the fingerprint recognition system to trigger the ignition system to extinguish after the vehicle has changed from a travel state to a stop state. Also, it is equally possible to determine whether the vehicle satisfies a misfire condition and use the fingerprint identification result of the fingerprint identification system in combination with the determination result to trigger the ignition system of the vehicle to misfire.
For example, the flameout condition may be that the time that the finger of the user presses the fingerprint identification unit exceeds a predetermined threshold as described above. In addition, the key-off condition may be combined with other electronic devices on the vehicle, for example, when a car is equipped with a reverse image or an automatic parking device, the key-off condition may be whether the car has completely entered a parking space according to the reverse image or the automatic parking function. Alternatively, the key-off condition may be combined with an electronic device, such as a navigation system, that is whether the vehicle has reached a predetermined destination based on the navigation.
In the vehicle steering wheel, the starting unit is connected with the ignition system of the vehicle through wired communication or wireless communication, so that the ignition system of the vehicle is triggered to ignite or extinguish.
The ignition system of a vehicle is usually composed of a relay, a battery and an ignition device, so that the ignition system is triggered to ignite or extinguish by an electrical signal. As described above, the fingerprint recognition system according to the embodiment of the present invention may employ a control circuit of a conventional automobile, and only connects the start circuit at the conventional key jack with the start unit of the fingerprint recognition system, and such connection may be in the form of a cable or in the form of wireless communication using short-range communication. Therefore, when the starting unit receives the judgment result of fingerprint matching, the starting unit can send an ignition system ignition or flameout instruction to the ignition system, so as to control the relay to be electrified or deenergized and switch on or off the ignition device and the storage battery. Thus, cost savings can be achieved as there is no need to modify the control circuitry of existing ignition systems.
FIG. 3 is a schematic block diagram of a fingerprint activation system according to an embodiment of the present invention. In particular, a fingerprint identification system and an ignition system connected thereto in a vehicle as described above is shown in fig. 3. As shown in fig. 3, the fingerprint starting system 200 of fig. 3 is mainly composed of a fingerprint identification system 210 and an ignition system 220 connected to the fingerprint identification system 210. The fingerprint recognition system 210 includes: a first fingerprint identification unit 211 for reading first fingerprint information from a first finger of a user; a second fingerprint identification unit 212 for reading second fingerprint information from a second finger of the user while the first fingerprint identification unit 210 reads the first fingerprint information; a fingerprint matching unit 213 for comparing the first fingerprint information recognized by the first fingerprint recognition unit 211 and the second fingerprint information recognized by the second fingerprint recognition unit 212 with a first fingerprint template and a second fingerprint template stored in advance, respectively; and an activation unit 214 for activating the ignition system 220 of the vehicle in case the fingerprint matching unit 213 determines that the first fingerprint information matches the first fingerprint template and that the second fingerprint information matches the second fingerprint template. Optionally, the fingerprint matching unit 213 further comprises a memory 313 for storing the first fingerprint template and the second fingerprint template. In addition, the fingerprint recognition system 210 further includes: a fingerprint timing unit 215, connected to the first fingerprint identification unit 211 and the second fingerprint identification unit 212, for determining whether the time for which the first finger presses the first fingerprint identification unit 211 and the second finger presses the second fingerprint identification unit 212 is greater than a first threshold; and the starting unit 214 is further connected to the fingerprint timing unit 215 for starting the ignition system 220 of the vehicle if the first fingerprint information matches the first fingerprint template, the second fingerprint information matches the second fingerprint template, and the time for the first finger to press the first fingerprint identification unit 211 and the second finger to press the second fingerprint identification unit 212 is greater than the first threshold value. Additionally, the fingerprint identification system 210 further comprises: a prohibiting unit 216 for disabling the first fingerprint recognizing unit 211, the second fingerprint recognizing unit 212, the fingerprint matching unit 213, and the activating unit 214 in the case where it is detected that the vehicle is in the traveling state. Additionally, the fingerprint identification system 210 further comprises: a stopping unit 217 for re-enabling the first fingerprint identification unit 211, the second fingerprint identification unit 212, the fingerprint matching unit 213, and the starting unit 214 in the case where it is detected that the vehicle is changed from the running state to the stopped state; a stall determination unit 218 for determining whether the vehicle satisfies a stall condition; and the enabling unit 214 is configured to trigger the ignition system 220 of the vehicle to shut down if the first fingerprint information matches the first fingerprint template, the second fingerprint information matches the second fingerprint template, and the vehicle is determined by the shut down determination unit 218 to satisfy a shut down condition. In addition, the fingerprint identification system 210 may further include a communication unit 219 connected with the starting unit 214, so that the starting unit 214 may be connected with the ignition system 220 of the vehicle through the communication unit 219 via wired communication or wireless communication, thereby triggering the ignition system 220 of the vehicle to ignite or extinguish.
Here, other details of the first fingerprint identification unit 211, the second fingerprint identification unit 212, the fingerprint matching unit 213, the activation unit 214, the fingerprint timing unit 215, the prohibition unit 216, the stop unit 217, the misfire determination unit 218, and the communication unit 219 in fig. 3 are the same as those described above, and are not traced back again in order to avoid redundancy.
Therefore, in the steering wheel of the vehicle according to the embodiment of the invention, the two fingerprint identification units are arranged, and the ignition system is started under the condition that the fingerprints acquired by the two fingerprint identification units pass verification at the same time, so that the use safety of the vehicle can be obviously improved.
Moreover, because the two fingerprint identification units are respectively arranged on the steering wheel of the vehicle, the user can realize the identification of the fingerprint through the natural action of putting the hand on the steering wheel without touching the fingerprint identifier with the finger intentionally, thereby improving the use convenience of the vehicle.
According to another aspect of embodiments of the present invention, there is provided a vehicle including a vehicle steering wheel, including: a first fingerprint identification unit for reading first fingerprint information from a first finger of a user; a second fingerprint identification unit for reading second fingerprint information from a second finger of the user while the first fingerprint identification unit reads the first fingerprint information; the fingerprint matching unit is used for comparing the first fingerprint information and the second fingerprint information with a first fingerprint template and a second fingerprint template which are stored in advance respectively; and the starting unit is used for starting the ignition system of the vehicle under the condition that the first fingerprint information is matched with the first fingerprint template and the second fingerprint information is matched with the second fingerprint template.
