Abstract

本发明公开了一种AMOLED显示的像素驱动电路结构,由N行N列像素单元连接组成,每一行中的像素单位采用3个TFT,且每一行的所有像素单元共同拥有一个电容,每个像素单元增加一个驱动电压信号线。本发明不仅可以应用于恒定电流结构,而且可以用于源极跟随结构,以及不仅可以采用单晶硅TFT,而且可以采用多晶硅TFT。本发明相比传统的像素驱动电路,电容的数量得以减少,减少了器件使用量,降低了成本,电路更加简单。

一种AMOLED显示的像素驱动电路结构
【技术领域】
本发明属于AMOLED显示领域,具体涉及一种AMOLED显示的像素驱动电路结构。
【背景技术】
有源矩阵有机发光显示面板(Active Matrix/Organic Light Emitting Diode,AMOLED)作为第三代显示技术有着高亮度、宽视角、响应速度快等优势。其中,该技术的像素电路包括恒定电流结构和源极跟随结构两种,传统的这两种像素单元由2T1C,即两个薄膜晶体管(Thin Film Transistor)和一个电容(Capacitor)组成,整个显示屏由N行N列该像素单元以及驱动像素单元电路的行扫描信号线、列Vdd信号线和数据电压信号线组成。随着该显示技术的发展,显示屏则向着更薄、更轻、响应速度更快的方向发展,人们逐渐研究并改进着像素单元电路结构。
【发明内容】
本发明的目的在于改进传统的两种像素单元驱动电路,提供一种AMOLED显示的像素驱动电路结构。
为了实现上述目的,本发明所采用的方案是:
一种AMOLED显示的像素驱动电路结构,包括若干结构相同的像素单元驱动电路,每个像素单元驱动电路均包括开关管TFT1、驱动管TFT2以及驱动管TFT3;开关管TFT1的栅极接扫描信号电压Vscan,源极接数据信号电压Vdata,漏极分别接驱动管TFT2的栅极和驱动管TFT3的源极;驱动管TFT2的源极接OLED的阴极,漏极接地;驱动管TFT3的栅极接驱动电压信号VMN,VMN为第M行第N列的像素单元中驱动电容C充放电的驱动信号电压;同一行像素单元驱动电路的驱动管TFT3的漏极均连接至电容C的同一侧,电容C的另一侧接地。
本发明还提出一种AMOLED显示的像素驱动电路结构,其特征在于,包括若干结构相同的像素单元驱动电路,每个像素单元驱动电路均包括开关管TFT1、驱动管TFT2以及驱动管TFT3;开关管TFT1的栅极接扫描信号电压Vscan,源极接数据信号电压Vdata,漏极分别接驱动管TFT2的栅极和驱动管TFT3的源极;驱动管TFT2的漏极接OLED的阳极,源极接电源电压Vdd,OLED的阴极接地;驱动管TFT3的栅极接驱动电压信号VMN,VMN为第M行第N列的像素单元中驱动电容C充放电的驱动信号电压;同一行像素单元驱动电路的驱动管TFT3的漏极均连接至电容C的同一侧,电容C的另一侧接电源电压Vdd
与现有技术相比,本发明具有以下有益效果:
本发明由N行N列像素单元连接组成,每一行中的像素单位采用3个TFT,且每一行的所有像素单元共同拥有一个电容,每个像素单元增加一个驱动电压信号线。本发明不仅可以应用于恒定电流结构,而且可以用于源极跟随结构,以及不仅可以采用单晶硅TFT,而且可以采用多晶硅TFT。本发明相比传统的像素驱动电路,电容的数量得以减少,减少了器件使用量,降低了成本,电路更加简单。

其中,如图1和图2所示,TFT1为开关管,TFT2、TFT3均为驱动管,C为电容,OLED为有机发光二极管,Vscan为扫描信号电压,Vdata为数据信号电压,Vdd为提供像素电路的电源电压,V11为第一行第一列的像素单元中驱动C充放电的信号电压,V12为第一行第二列的像素单元中驱动C放电的信号电压。
【具体实施方式】
下面结合附图对本发明做进一步详细描述:
参见图1,本发明AMOLED显示的像素驱动电路结构,由N行N列的改进型像素单元驱动电路构成,包括恒定电流结构或源极跟随结构;其中,每一行中的像素单元采用3个TFT,且每一行的所有像素单元共同拥有一个电容;每一个像素单元增加一个驱动电压信号线,该驱动电压信号线的目的在于驱动电容充电和放电;像素单元中的TFT包括单晶硅TFT和多晶硅TFT两种。
实施例1
恒定电流结构:包括若干结构相同的像素单元驱动电路,每个像素单元驱动电路均包括开关管TFT1、驱动管TFT2以及驱动管TFT3;开关管TFT1的栅极接扫描信号电压Vscan,源极接数据信号电压Vdata,漏极分别接驱动管TFT2的栅极和驱动管TFT3的源极,开关管TFT1控制数据信号电压Vdata的写入;驱动管TFT2的源极接OLED的阴极,漏极接地,驱动管TFT2驱动OLED发光;驱动管TFT3的栅极接驱动电压信号VMN,VMN为第M行第N列的像素单元中驱动电容C充放电的驱动信号电压,驱动管TFT3控制电容C的充放电;同一行像素单元驱动电路的驱动管TFT3的漏极均连接至电容C的同一侧,电容C的另一侧接地。
实施例2
源极跟随结构:包括若干结构相同的像素单元驱动电路,每个像素单元驱动电路均包括开关管TFT1、驱动管TFT2以及驱动管TFT3;开关管TFT1的栅极接扫描信号电压Vscan,源极接数据信号电压Vdata,漏极分别接驱动管TFT2的栅极和驱动管TFT3的源极,开关管TFT1控制数据信号电压Vdata的写入;驱动管TFT2的漏极接OLED的阳极,源极接电源电压Vdd,OLED的阴极接地,驱动管TFT2驱动OLED发光;驱动管TFT3的栅极接驱动电压信号VMN,VMN为第M行第N列的像素单元中驱动电容C充放电的驱动信号电压,驱动管TFT3控制电容C的充放电;同一行像素单元驱动电路的驱动管TFT3的漏极均连接至电容C的同一侧,电容C的另一侧接电源电压Vdd
本发明的原理:
如图1和2所示,本发明中像素单元电路包括开关管TFT1、驱动管TFT2、驱动管TFT3、电容C、OLED、数据信号电压Vdata、提供像素电路的电源电压Vdd、扫描线信号电压Vscan以及驱动电容C充放电的V11和驱动电容C放电的V12,依次类推,第一行其他列也具有驱动其所在位置的像素单元C放电的信号电压V1N
当处于预充电阶段,给扫描线信号电压Vscan、数据信号电压Vdata和V11信号电压,开关管TFT1和驱动管TFT3处于打开状态,电容C充电至电源电压Vdd
当像素单元处于持续发光阶段时,给V11、V12……V1N和Vdd信号电压,驱动管TFT2和驱动管TFT3打开,电容C放电,当一行中第N列的像素单元需要OLED发光时,此时给像素单元中所在的V1N信号电压,从而电容给所在位置的像素单元放电,使得该像素单元的OLED发光。

Claims (2)

1.一种AMOLED显示的像素驱动电路结构,其特征在于,包括若干结构相同的像素单元驱动电路,每个像素单元驱动电路均包括开关管TFT1、驱动管TFT2以及驱动管TFT3;开关管TFT1的栅极接扫描信号电压Vscan,源极接数据信号电压Vdata,漏极分别接驱动管TFT2的栅极和驱动管TFT3的源极;驱动管TFT2的源极接OLED的阴极,漏极接地;驱动管TFT3的栅极接驱动电压信号VMN,VMN为第M行第N列的像素单元中驱动电容C充放电的驱动信号电压;同一行像素单元驱动电路的驱动管TFT3的漏极均连接至电容C的同一侧,电容C的另一侧接地。
2.一种AMOLED显示的像素驱动电路结构,其特征在于,包括若干结构相同的像素单元驱动电路,每个像素单元驱动电路均包括开关管TFT1、驱动管TFT2以及驱动管TFT3;开关管TFT1的栅极接扫描信号电压Vscan,源极接数据信号电压Vdata,漏极分别接驱动管TFT2的栅极和驱动管TFT3的源极;驱动管TFT2的漏极接OLED的阳极,源极接电源电压Vdd,OLED的阴极接地;驱动管TFT3的栅极接驱动电压信号VMN,VMN为第M行第N列的像素单元中驱动电容C充放电的驱动信号电压;同一行像素单元驱动电路的驱动管TFT3的漏极均连接至电容C的同一侧,电容C的另一侧接电源电压Vdd
