Abstract
The invention discloses a method and a system for identifying vehicle external information based on an image acquired by vehicle-mounted equipment, wherein the method comprises the following steps: the vehicle-mounted image capturing device captures images of the periphery of the automobile; identifying the information of the position in the shot image through an image identification algorithm according to the shot image around the automobile; and generating information corresponding to the vehicle position according to the information of the recognized belt position in the image, and transmitting the generated information corresponding to the vehicle position to the specified terminal equipment. The invention provides a method for capturing images by using vehicle-mounted image capturing equipment and identifying image contents by using an image identification technology, so that a vehicle can conveniently and quickly acquire external information accurately corresponding to the position of the vehicle.

Technical Field
