Background

However, these portable electronic devices have a strong personalization feature. Therefore, such products need to be matched with certain identity authentication and authority management to ensure the privacy and security of users. However, the main method of identity authentication currently adopted is password security, and a user can enter the control page of the portable electronic device only by inputting a correct password to the portable electronic device. However, password protection is less secure because passwords are more susceptible to leakage or hacking. And it is troublesome if the user forgets the password. Therefore, there are portable electronic devices that use fingerprint identification for identity authentication. Because the fingerprints of each person are different, the fingerprints have the characteristic of uniqueness, and the safety of identity authentication by fingerprint identification is greatly improved. Moreover, the method of identity authentication by using fingerprint identification is relatively convenient, so that the user is saved from the complexity of memorizing and inputting passwords.
The most common fingerprint recognition device is designed independently on a fixed side of a keyboard of a notebook computer or a fixed position on the back side or one bottom side of the handheld mobile device, and cannot be effectively integrated on a touch screen of the handheld mobile device to further reduce the volume of the handheld mobile device. The chip is arranged on the substrate and electrically connected with the substrate, and the mold sealing body covers the surface of the substrate and the chip.
Generally, when a finger touches a sensing region of a chip, the chip package module has a high overall thickness and a low sensitivity because the chip is covered with a multi-layer film.
In addition, the conventional sliding fingerprint recognition system has directionality, and the recognition time is too long and the system must be independently installed, so that the structural integration or the use convenience is not good.
Disclosure of Invention

The fingerprint identification chip is provided with a sensing area and a top surface, wherein the sensing area is formed on the top surface.
The shielding layer is arranged in the non-touch area of the second plane of the glass substrate and is arranged between the glass substrate and the metal wiring.
And a protective layer covering the fingerprint identification sensing layer, wherein the protective layer is made of any one of epoxy resin, acrylic resin or silica gel.
The metal routing is arranged in the non-touch area.
The fingerprint identification sensing layer is provided with a plurality of metal wires which are transparent and are arranged adjacent to the fingerprint identification chips.
The non-touch area is arranged outside the touch area.
By integrating the fingerprint identification chip on the touch panel, the manufacturing cost can be saved, and the touch sensitivity and accuracy can be improved.

Referring to fig. 1 and 2, which are three-dimensional exploded and assembled cross-sectional views of a touch panel with fingerprint identification function according to a first embodiment of the present invention, as shown in the drawings, a touch panel 1 with fingerprint identification function according to the present invention includes: a glass substrate 11, an electrode layer 12, a first insulating layer 13, a fingerprint identification sensing layer 14;
the glass substrate 11 has a first plane 11a and a second plane 11b, the first and second planes 11a, 11b are respectively disposed on the upper and lower sides of the glass substrate 11, a touch area 11c and a non-touch area 11d are defined on the first plane 11a, the non-touch area 11d is adjacent to the touch area 11c, that is, the non-touch area 11d is disposed outside the touch area 11 c.
The electrode layer 12 is disposed on the second plane 11b of the glass substrate 11, the electrode layer 12 has a plurality of first electrodes 121, a plurality of second electrodes 122 and a plurality of metal traces 123, and the first and second electrodes 121, 122 are selectively electrically connected to the metal traces 123; the metal traces 123 are disposed in the non-touch area 11d of the second plane 11b of the glass substrate 11.
The first insulating layer 13 covers the junction of the first and second electrodes 121, 122, and when the first and second electrodes 121, 122 are wired, a part of the area will be overlapped and contacted, and the first insulating layer 13 covers the junction of the first and second electrodes 121, 122, so that the first electrode 121 or the second electrode 122 can smoothly cross and extend the wiring.
The fingerprint sensing layer 14 is disposed on the first plane 11a of the glass substrate 11, and has a plurality of fingerprint sensing chips 141 and a plurality of transmission wires 142, wherein the fingerprint sensing chips 141 are electrically connected to the transmission wires 142.
The fingerprint identification chips 141 have a sensing area 141a and a top surface 141b, wherein the sensing area 141a is formed on the top surface 141 b.
The present invention mainly integrates the plurality of fingerprint recognition chips 141 in the fingerprint recognition sensing layer 14 and the electrode layer 12 into the touch area 11c, so as to achieve the purposes of improving the touch accuracy and saving the manufacturing cost.
Please refer to fig. 3, which is a combined cross-sectional view of a second embodiment of the touch panel with fingerprint identification function of the present invention, as shown in the figure, part of the structural technical features of this embodiment are the same as those of the first embodiment, and therefore will not be described herein, but the difference between this embodiment and the first embodiment is that the touch panel 1 with fingerprint identification function further includes a shielding layer 15, the shielding layer 15 is disposed in the non-touch region 11d of the second plane 11b of the glass substrate 11, and the shielding layer 15 is disposed between the glass substrate 11 and the metal traces 123, and the shielding layer 15 can shield the metal traces 123 from being exposed to the outside.
Please refer to fig. 4, which is a cross-sectional view of a combined view of a third embodiment of the touch panel with fingerprint identification function of the present invention, as shown in the figure, part of the structural technical features of the present embodiment are the same as those of the first embodiment, and therefore will not be described herein, but the difference between the present embodiment and the first embodiment is that the touch panel 1 with fingerprint identification function further includes a protection layer 16 covering the fingerprint identification sensing layer 14, the protection layer 16 is made of any one of epoxy resin, acryl resin, or silicone, and the protection layer 16 prevents the backside of the fingerprint identification chips 141 from being exposed to the outside.
Please refer to fig. 5 and 5a, which are a top view and a partial enlarged view of a group of fingerprint identification layers of a fourth embodiment of the touch panel with fingerprint identification function of the present invention, as shown in the figure, a part of structural technical features of this embodiment are the same as those of the first embodiment, and therefore will not be described herein again, but the difference between this embodiment and the first embodiment is that the fingerprint identification sensing layer 14 further has a plurality of metal wires 143, the metal wires 143 are transparent and are disposed adjacent to the fingerprint identification chips 141, and the disposition of the metal wires 143 mainly improves the fingerprint identification rate of the fingerprint identification chips 141.

the electrode layer is arranged on a second plane of the glass substrate and is provided with a plurality of first electrodes, a plurality of second electrodes and a plurality of metal wires, the first electrodes and the second electrodes are selectively and electrically connected with the metal wires, and the first electrodes and the second electrodes are arranged in a touch area of the second plane;
a first insulating layer covering the junction of the first electrode and the second electrode;
the fingerprint identification sensing layer is arranged on the first plane of the glass substrate and is provided with a plurality of fingerprint identification chips and a plurality of transmission wires, and the fingerprint identification chips are electrically connected with the transmission wires; the fingerprint identification chips are arranged in the touch area of the first plane, the fingerprint identification sensing layer covers and covers the touch area and the non-touch area, and the fingerprint identification sensing layer is distributed over the touch area,
the electrode layer and the fingerprint identification sensing layer are overlapped in the touch area, and the full screen of the touch area has a touch function and a fingerprint identification function at the same time.

5. The touch panel with fingerprint recognition function as claimed in claim 1, wherein the metal traces are disposed in the non-touch area.
6. The touch panel with fingerprint identification function as claimed in claim 1, wherein the fingerprint identification sensing layer has a plurality of metal wires, and the metal wires are transparent and disposed adjacent to the fingerprint identification chips.
7. The touch panel with fingerprint recognition function as claimed in claim 1, wherein the non-touch area is disposed outside the touch area.
