The invention relates to a heavy workpiece turnover device which comprises a turnover mechanism, an energy storage mechanism and a control mechanism. The turnover mechanism comprises a turnover platform, a front turnover plate, a rear turnover plate and hydraulic rods; the front turnover plate is connected with the rear turnover plate by hinges; the hydraulic rods are welded at the edge of the turnover platform and the bottom of the rear turnover plate; the energy storage mechanism comprises a storage battery and a charging device, and the control mechanism comprises two pairs of track wheels, a motor, a brake apparatus and a control box; the two pairs of track wheels are connected with each other by wheel axles and are welded at the bottom of the turnover platform. The heavy workpiece turnover device has the advantages that workpieces can be freely turned over by the front turnover plate and the rear turnover plate on the turnover platform, and accordingly safety risks due to misoperation on existing cranes can be reduced; the workpieces can be conveyed on tracks by the heavy workpiece turnover device over long distances; the heavy workpiece turnover device is simple in structure and easy and convenient to operate and is safe; the problem of damage to existing workpieces or safety accidents due to the fact that the existing workpieces are hoisted and conveyed by the aid of the existing cranes can be solved, and accordingly the purposes of improving the quality of the workpieces and guaranteeing the safety for workers can be achieved.

the control mechanism is arranged at the bottom of the overturning platform and comprises two pairs of track wheels, a motor, a braking device, a control box and a remote controller; the two pairs of track wheels are connected through wheel shafts, welded at the bottom of the overturning platform and connected with the motor and the braking device through chains. the turnover mechanism consists of a turnover platform 1, a front turnover plate 2, a rear turnover plate 3 and a hydraulic rod 4; the overturning platform 1 is formed by welding channel steel, the overturning platform 1 is of a step structure with a high front part and a low rear part, namely, the front plane of the overturning platform 1 is a step, the step is provided with a notch groove for mounting a front overturning plate 2, namely, the front overturning plate 2 is arranged in the notch groove of the front plane of the overturning platform 1, and the rear overturning plate 3 is arranged on the rear plane of the overturning platform 1;
the front overturning plate 2 and the rear overturning plate 3 are both formed by welding channel steel, and the front overturning plate 2 and the rear overturning plate 3 are connected through a hinge;

the front overturning plate (2) and the rear overturning plate (3) are both formed by welding channel steel, and the front overturning plate (2) and the rear overturning plate (3) are connected through a hinge;
