Abstract
本发明涉及一种用于制造增强的纤维复合构件(10)的方法,其包括下列步骤:制备增强型材(11);用芯部元件(12)包围增强型材;借助编绕连续纤维而产生所述芯部元件的外套(13);以基质浸渍被编绕的芯部元件。另外,本发明还提供一种增强的纤维复合构件(10),其包括编绕有外套(13)的芯部元件(12),其中,所述芯部元件包围设置在该芯部元件内部的增强型材(11)。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于制造增强的纤维复合构件的方法以及一种增强的纤维复合构件。
背景技术
纤维复合构件由于其与纯金属材料制成的相应构件比较在重量轻的同时具备高的刚性而越来越多地应用于机动车中。
为了实现特别高的形状稳定性和同时非常轻的重量,已知包括一个支撑芯的纤维复合构件,所述支撑芯由碳纤维或玻璃纤维组成的纤维结构通过缠绕或编绕包裹。通过这种方式提供了一种空心型材状的纤维结构,该纤维结构的形状稳定性得到设置在所构成的空心型材内部的支撑芯的支撑并由此得到加固。尤其是由塑料泡沫、蜡、木材或由金属制成的支撑芯得到应用。
然而,这种构件由于碳纤维和/或玻璃纤维组成的承载纤维结构之故而没有延展的材料特性或者说具有很小的断裂延伸率。在构件变形时这一点导致小的结构整体性。因此,在变形度大的情况下存在着纤维结构断裂、乃至整个纤维复合构件折断的危险。
例如由DE102004017311A1已知一种用于制造纤维复合材料半成品的可能方法,其中,利用编织线编结成一个编织芯。
发明内容
本发明的目的是,提供一种在重量尽可能轻的同时又特别稳定且抗折断的纤维复合构件。
此目的借助如权利要求1所述的方法以及利用具有权利要求7的特征的纤维复合构件得以实现。由各从属权利要求可得到一些有益的实施方式。
据此而提出一种用于制造增强的纤维复合构件的方法,其包括下列步骤:
a.制备增强型材,
b.用芯部元件包围增强型材,
c.借助编绕连续纤维(Endlosfaser)而产生芯部元件的外套,
d.以基质浸渍被编绕的芯部元件。
也就是说,首先设置一个增强型材并且用一个芯部元件将该增强型材包围。这意味着:将芯部元件例如敷设在增强型材的外表面上并且由此将增强型材至少在该增强型材的周向上包围。
通过这种方式实现了:芯部元件通过增强型材得以增强并且根据材料选择造成整个纤维复合构件的材料特性的改变,从而防止在高负荷时折断。
例如,增强型材可以包括由塑料和/或金属和/或纤维增强的材料(特别是纤维增强的塑料或纤维增强的金属)构成的棒状或管状型材。
原则上,型材可以具有任意的横截面形状,该横截面形状沿着型材的纵长方向延伸。最简单的例子是圆形的横截面,其沿着纵长方向延伸形成空心圆柱体或者说呈管状延伸。不言而喻,同样还可以选择其他的横截面形状,特别是可以采用椭圆或多角的横截面。总之,增强型材可以设计成空心型材(例如呈管状)或由实心材料构成的实心型材(例如呈棒状)。
纤维复合构件的构造允许与外套的或者说纤维复合构件外轮廓的几何特征无关地设计增强型材的横截面。例如,增强型材的横截面可以设计为重量优化的、负荷优化的和/或力优化的。同样也可以将横截面形状构造为沿着增强型材的纵向延伸恒定不变的或者变化的。芯部元件可以敷设在增强型材的外表面上并且依循其外轮廓,但是芯部元件的外表面或者说轮廓也可以具有与增强型材不同的横截面形状。该横截面形状例如可以根据整个纤维复合构件的轮廓而定,从而在产生外套或浸渍之后提供所期望的构件轮廓。换言之,芯部元件由此跨越/克服了在增强部件与外套或构件轮廓之间可能的几何结构跃变或几何结构差异。在图2中示出了一种示例性的实施方式。
浸渍步骤特别是可以包括借助于Resin-Transfer-Moulding-方法(树脂传递模塑成型法)(缩写:RTM)的浸渍。同样也可以实施借助其他已知浸渍方法的浸渍步骤。一般而言适当的浸渍方法是已知的,因此可以免去对其赘述。
而外套则例如可以包括由玻璃纤维、芳族聚酰胺纤维和/或碳纤维构成的连续纤维。所述外套应理解为纤维结构,该纤维结构特别是通过编绕产生并且以基质浸渍。在此,所述连续纤维的材料可以任意地与芯部元件的不同材料相组合。
对于芯部元件的选择来说,一方面与增强型材以及另一方面与外套的适当的可结合性是十分重要的。此外,芯部元件优选还应该具有足够的压力稳定性,以便例如在浸渍步骤期间承受得住基质注射。
此外,芯部元件例如可以构造为塑料元件、木材元件或者构造为由金属泡沫或塑料泡沫构成的泡沫元件。例如可以借助已知的注射成型法制造该塑料元件。作为可选方案,还可以利用纤维(诸如碳纤维,玻璃纤维或芳族聚酰胺纤维)对塑料元件进行增强。同样,塑料元件可以设计成SMC(SheetMoldingCompound(片状模塑料))等。
特别是塑料或树脂适合作为基质,其通过浸渍步骤至少被置入外套的纤维结构中,或者附加地-如果可能的话-置入芯部元件中并被硬化。通过这种方式至少构成了由纤维增强塑料或者纤维增强树脂组成的浸渍的外套。
根据其他的实施方式,包围增强型材的步骤可以包括包封发泡或包封注射,用于产生包围的芯部元件。为此,可以将增强型材装入相应的泡沫模具或注射成型模具中。
另外还提出了一种增强的纤维复合构件,其包括编绕有外套的芯部元件,其中,芯部元件包围设置在该芯部元件内部的增强型材。
优选该纤维复合构件是利用如上文说明的方法制成的。
根据一种实施方式,纤维复合构件是纤维增强的车身结构部件或机动车的增强构件。例如,所述车身结构部件可以是车身立柱(特别是A柱、B柱、C柱或D柱)、车篷弓形架、坎梁、发动机支架、纵梁、横梁、侧框等。同样,纤维复合构件可也以设计为一种增强构件,该增强构件可以与车身结构部件连接,诸如置入外侧框与内侧框之间的车身立柱-增强部,特别是A柱、B柱、C柱或D柱-增强部。

具体实施方式
在图1中示出了一个增强的纤维复合构件,该纤维复合构件在所示实施方式中例如构造为用于机动车的A柱的增强构件。该纤维复合构件也可以置入车辆的外侧框与内侧框之间。
图2示出了在图1中示出的纤维复合材料10的A-A横截面,其具有一个芯部元件12,该芯部元件在芯部元件12的外表面14上编绕有一个外套13。另外,芯部元件12包围一个设置在该芯部元件12内部的增强型材11。
由于整合在纤维复合构件10中的、被设置或包含于芯部元件12内部的增强型材11,整个纤维复合构件10的构件特性受到影响并且强度得以提高。这样,例如可以将增强型材11制备成金属或塑料或纤维增强材料的管状型材并由此提高强度,以及促进实现纤维复合构件10的附加的延展性能。这一点还在变形行程(Verformungsweg)大的情况下防止纤维复合构件10完全断裂。
在所示实施方式中,增强型材11设计成空心型材,该空心型材在重量轻的同时可实现高的刚性。
例如可以借助一种方法来制造该增强的纤维复合构件10,其中,首先制备增强型材11并且例如将其装入泡沫模具或注射成型模具(两者均未示出)中。在那里,为了产生芯部元件12而对增强型材11用泡沫材料包封发泡或者包封注射,使得芯部元件12将增强型材11包围。例如塑料、木材或由塑料或金属构成的泡沫材料适合作为芯部元件12用的材料。
接着,将芯部元件12连同一体整合的增强型材11从泡沫模具中取出并且通过编绕连续纤维将其以外套13包围。然后,例如可以借助于ResinTransfer-Moulding-方法(树脂传递模塑成型法)以基质浸渍通过这种方式生成的、被编绕的芯部元件12(包括一体整合的增强元件11在内)。
Claims (9)
1.用于制造增强的纤维复合构件的方法,其包括下列步骤:
a.制备增强型材,
b.用芯部元件包围增强型材,
c.借助编绕连续纤维而产生芯部元件的外套,
d.以基质浸渍被编绕的芯部元件。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中,所述增强型材包括由塑料和/或金属和/或纤维增强的材料构成的管状型材。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的方法,其中,所述外套包括由玻璃纤维、芳族聚酰胺纤维和/或碳纤维构成的连续纤维。
4.如权利要求1至3之任一项所述的方法,其中,所述芯部元件构造为塑料元件、木材元件或者构造为由金属泡沫或塑料泡沫构成的泡沫元件。
5.如权利要求1至4之任一项所述的方法,其中,包围增强型材的步骤包括包封发泡或包封注射,用于产生包围的芯部元件。
6.如权利要求1至5之任一项所述的方法,其中,浸渍步骤包括借助于树脂传递模塑成型法的浸渍。
7.增强的纤维复合构件,其包括编绕有外套(13)的芯部元件(12),其特征在于:所述芯部元件(12)包围设置在该芯部元件(12)内部的增强型材(11)。
8.如权利要求7所述的增强的纤维复合构件,其特征在于:该纤维复合构件(10)是利用如权利要求1至6之任一项所述的方法制成的。
9.如权利要求7或8所述的增强的纤维复合构件,其特征在于:该纤维复合构件(10)是纤维增强的车身结构部件或机动车的增强构件。
