Description

用于喷涂系统的泵转换算法
技术领域
本发明一般而言涉及用于喷涂流体,诸如油漆、密封剂、涂料和类似流体,的涂敷器系统。更具体地讲,本发明涉及用于减少喷涂系统中的转换停止时间的泵转换算法。
背景技术
流体喷涂系统用于各种各样的应用中,包含涂漆、涂胶和泡沫喷涂。一些流体涂敷器具有单独的“A侧”和“B侧”流体系统(例如,泵、储存器和流体管线),其承载不同的流体部件,而其他涂敷器仅泵送和喷涂单独的喷涂材料。在喷涂系统中泵送的常见材料包含涂料、聚氨酯、异氰酸酯、聚酯、环氧树脂和丙烯酸类树脂。
许多流体涂敷器喷涂系统使用齿轮泵以提供充分的喷涂压力。相反地,一些此类系统使用往复式泵,但往复式泵可以在转换时由于在开启或闭合阀以切换泵状态时泵送的暂停而产生泵送压力波动。
发明内容
在第一实施例中,一种喷涂系统包含用于喷涂流体的流体源、设置为喷涂所述喷涂流体的喷涂器、泵和控制器。所述泵包含具有往复式柱塞的定量双动式泵缸、第一入口阀和第二入口阀以及第一出口阀和第二出口阀。控制器被配置成传送第一信号,使得第一入口阀和第一出口阀针对泵的转换而闭合,并且还被配置成在第一入口阀和第一出口阀闭合时传送第二信号,所述第二信号使得第二入口阀和第二出口阀开始开启。

具体实施方式
本发明是一种用于在喷涂系统的往复式正位移泵的转换期间为阀致动定时的系统和方法。为阀致动定时以使得阀致动的停顿时间重叠,减少了在泵转换期间的总停止时间,并且相应地减少了不期望的压力波动。
图1是喷涂系统10的示意图,具有A侧和B侧的双侧喷涂系统被配置成承载仅在喷涂时才组合的单独流体组分。例如,喷涂系统10可以在喷涂的那一刻将A侧涂料与B侧催化剂(例如,聚氨酯、丙烯酸树脂、聚酯或环氧树脂)相组合。尽管下文将把喷涂系统10主要作为用于喷涂涂料的系统来论述,但是本发明可以类似地适用于针对泡沫、粘接剂和其他材料的喷涂器。喷涂系统10的许多部件并列地存在于系统的A侧和B侧上。为清晰起见,A侧的部件标记有“a”下标,而B侧的部件标记有“b”下标。在下文中,将使用不带下标的附图标记来大体指代并列地存在于喷涂系统10的A侧和B侧上的元件,以及在两面上共用的单个元件,同时将A侧或B侧的特定对应元件根据需要标记有“a”或“b”下标。例如,“泵12a”和“泵12b”分别是喷涂系统的A侧和B侧子系统的特定元件。与“泵12”相关的描述(不带下标)大体是指泵。
喷涂系统10包含A侧和B侧的泵12,其将流体从入口歧管14经由入口管线Ia和Ib,经由出口管线Oa和Ob泵送至出口歧管16。在所示实施例中,泵12是由机动致动器18驱动的双动往复式缸泵,其中密封件由润滑系统20润滑。例如,机动致动器18可以是线性直流步进式马达。润滑系统20包含至少一个润滑剂储存器以及流体行进管线,所述流体行进管线适于将来自润滑系统20的润滑剂携载至阀密封件和泵12的其他喉管密封件。尽管润滑系统20被示出为一体式系统,但是喷涂系统10的一些实施例可以使用例如具有不同的润滑剂的单独A侧和B侧润滑系统。
入口歧管14和出口歧管16分别是将泵12选择性地联接到多个流体源和输出件的有阀歧管。入口歧管14和出口歧管16允许喷涂系统10在多个相连的流体之间切换,而无需使流体管线断开或重新连接。尽管每个出口歧管16均被示出为具有三个出口,并且每个入口歧管14均被示出为具有三个入口,但是可以使用任意数目的入口和出口。在一般操作条件下,歧管14和16中的阀调允许每次仅开启一个输入或输出管线。在一些实施例中,入口歧管14和出口歧管16被电动控制,如下文参照控制器40更详细地论述。在其他实施例中,入口歧管14和出口歧管16可以被手动地致动。喷涂系统10的一些实施例可以允许实现入口歧管14和出口歧管16的电子阀致动和手动阀致动。
在所示实施例中,入口歧管14选择性地将泵12分别经由流体管线F1和F2连接到主流体源22和24,并且经由溶剂管线S连接到溶剂源26。例如,主流体源22a和24a可以是第一涂料P1和第二涂料P2,而主流体源22b和24b可以例如是第一催化剂流体C1和第二催化剂流体C2。溶剂源26a和26b可以利用溶剂材料的共用储存器,或者可以使用不同的溶剂材料。
在所示实施例中,出口歧管16类似地选择性地将泵12经由喷涂管线S1和S2连接到喷涂器28和30,并且经由废物管线W连接到废液转储器31。废液转储器31接收废弃的涂料、催化剂以及从喷涂系统10排出的溶剂(例如,在从第一涂料P1和第一催化液体C1切换至第二涂料P2和第二催化液体C2时)。喷涂器28和30各自接收来自A侧和B侧出口歧管16的喷涂管线。例如,喷涂器28接收来自A侧出口歧管16a的喷涂管线S1a和来自B侧出口歧管16b的喷涂管线S1b。尽管在图1中仅示出了两个喷涂器28和30,但是可以使用任意数目的单独喷涂器。每个喷涂器都可以专用于(例如,涂料和催化剂的)单个喷涂流体组合,以避免不同流体的混合或污染。相应地,具有额外流体源的实施例还有利地包含其他喷涂器。作为另外一种选择,喷涂器无需被专用于特定流体组合,而是如果在不同流体的喷涂阶段之间被冲洗,则可顺序地用于多个不同的流体组合。例如,喷涂器28和30可以是用户触发的喷涂枪,或机器致动的自动喷涂器。
在一些实施例中,主流体源22和24以及溶剂源26是能够供应泵12的至少50%的输出压力的预加压源。预加压源缓解了机动致动器18上的泵送负载,使得泵12仅需供应少于50%(根据此前提及的案例)的输出压力。源22、24和26可以包含用于预加压流体的专用泵。
在所示实施例中,泵12是具有定量缸32的计量线性泵,所述定量缸携载位移杆34。位移杆34由机动致动器18驱动,并且定位和驱动柱塞。在一些实施例中,定量缸32、位移杆34和柱塞36可以在工作表面区域中被平衡,以便在上下冲程上接收来自预加压源(例如22、24)的同等压力。
机动致动器18的马达速度是可变的,并且确定了泵12的位移。位移杆34延伸至杆储存器38中,所述储存器在一些实施例中可以注满来自润滑系统20的润滑剂。每个泵12都具有入口阀和出口阀,所述入口阀和出口阀在位移杆34的上下冲程之间致动以引导流体高于或低于柱塞36。
喷涂系统10由控制器40控制。控制器40是计算装置,例如微处理器或微处理器与相关存储器和本地操作界面42的集合。本地操作界面42是具有,例如,屏幕、按键、刻度盘和/或量规的用户界面装置。在本发明的一些实施例中,本地操作界面42可以是适用于用户操作的平板电脑或计算机的有线或无线连接。在其他实施例中,本地操作界面42可以是完整的界面,所述完整的界面被配置成接收直接用户输入并且将诊断数据和操作数据直接提供给用户。例如,本地操作界面42可以使得用户能够针对A侧和B侧流体的每一种组合输入A侧和B侧流体流的目标比率,以及输入目标输出压力。本地操作界面42还可以为用户提供诊断信息,包含但不限于,故障识别(例如,针对阻塞或泄漏)、喷涂统计(例如,已喷涂或剩余的流体体积)以及状态指示(例如,“清洁”、“喷涂”或“离线”)。在一些实施例中,控制器40可以包含已知配置或先前配置的数据库(例如,针对特定材料的目标比率和/或压力),使得目标操作界面42处的用户仅需从数个选项中选择一个配置。
控制器40经由马达速度控制信号cs来控制机动致动器18,并且经由泵阀控制信号cPV来控制泵12的泵阀调。控制器40使泵12的阀致动与泵转换同步,以最小化在柱塞36到达其在定量缸32内的行程顶部或底部时出现的停止时间。在一些实施例中,控制器40也可以分别经由入口阀控制信号cIV和出口阀控制信号cOV来控制入口歧管14和出口歧管16的阀调。控制器40分别从压力传感器44a和44b接收已感测的压力值Pa和Pb,并分别从机动致动器18a和18b接收反映马达状态的编码器反馈数据fa和fb
泵送系统10通过以指定的压力和材料比率进行泵转换来提供基本上一致且连续的喷涂压力。泵送系统10使得能够实现清洁有效的泵送和流体切换,而无流体污染的风险,并且无需较长的停止时间或大容量使用冲洗溶剂。
图2a和2b是喷涂系统10的示意图,其集中于泵12(即,即12a或12b)。图2a和2b示出了泵12的运行状态,其中图2a示出了处于下冲程阀状态的泵12,并且图2b示出了处于上冲程阀状态的泵12。图2a和2b示出了入口歧管14、出口歧管16、机动致动器18、主流体源22和24、溶剂源26、喷涂器28和30、废液转储器31、定量缸32、位移杆34、柱塞34以及如先前参照图1所述的各种连接流体管线。图2a和2b还分别示出了泵12的主体100、“向上”和“向下”的入口阀102和104、“向上”和“向下”的出口阀106和108、入口歧管阀110、112和114以及出口歧管阀116、118和120。
图2a和2b示出了喷涂系统10的状态,其中入口歧管14已经接合主流体源22,并且出口歧管16已经接合喷涂器28。相应地,到流体管线F1的入口歧管阀110是开放的,并且到流体管线F2和溶剂管线S的入口歧管阀112和114分别是闭合的。类似地,到喷涂器28的出口歧管阀116是开放的,而到喷涂器30和废液转储器31的出口歧管阀118和120分别是闭合的。阀110、112、114、116、118和120被示出为针阀,但也可以同样地使用任何耐压阀。如参照图1所示,这些阀可以由控制器40致动,或者由用户直接致动。仅一个入口歧管阀(110、112、114)和一个出口歧管阀(116、118、120)将在任何时间正常地开启。
泵12的入口阀102和104以及出口阀106和108通过控制器40配合位移杆34和柱塞36的向上和向下冲程被致动。在位移杆34和柱塞36向上行进(图2b)时,“向上”的入口阀102和出口阀106分别是开启的,并且“向下”的入口阀104和出口阀108分别是闭合的。在位移杆34和柱塞36向下行进(图2a)时,“向上”的入口阀102和出口阀106分别是闭合的,并且“向下”的入口阀104和出口阀108分别是开启的。控制器40在泵冲程之间致动这些阀,以便最小化在泵转换期间泵的停止时间。否则,较长的转换时间可以降低输出压力并且引入不期望的压力变化。柱塞36的往复运动将流体从主流体源22经由入口I吸取到泵主体100中,并且迫使流体从泵主体100经由出口○朝向喷涂器28。如上文参照图1所述,泵12可以被平衡以便从预加压的流体源(即,22、24、26)接收同等压力辅助。泵12的平衡实施例使得位移杆34和柱塞36具有同等的向上冲程和向下冲程作用表面区域。
图3是一种示出了方法200的方法流程图。方法200是一种控制方法,其示出了用以在泵12从上冲程转换到下冲程时进行阀致动的时间顺序。图4是根据方法200的为时间函数的泵压和阀状态的示例性图表。图3和4共同示出了阀致动过程,所述阀致动过程减少了在转换时的泵停止时间,从而减少了非期望的压力波动。尽管方法200和下文随附说明集中于泵12的上至下转换,但是总体过程同等地适用于下至上的泵转换。

停顿时间ΔtD是操作容差所需的最小时间段,用以确保在阀104和108开始开启之前,阀102和106被完全闭合。在一些实施例中,例如,停顿时间ΔtD可以小于10毫秒,并且总的泵转换时间可小于60毫秒。一旦“向下”侧的阀104和108以及开始机械地开启,则控制器40就发信号给马达12以使其重新启动,从而沿相反方向驱动柱塞36。
方法200和喷涂系统10通过对阀致动信号计时,以使“向上”和“向下”侧的阀的等待时期重叠,使得在泵12的上冲程和下冲程之间的转换期间,最小化泵的停止时间。因此减少的转换时间增加了平均输出压力并且改善了喷涂压力的一致性。
