Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a domestic refrigeration appliance, comprising: an inner chamber for receiving the food product, which inner chamber is delimited by the wall of the inner container. The domestic refrigerator furthermore comprises a storage area into which foodstuffs can be inserted. The domestic refrigeration appliance comprises, in addition, a food processing unit. The invention further relates to a method for operating a domestic refrigeration device.
Background
Domestic refrigeration appliances for receiving food products are known, for example, as refrigerators or freezers or combined refrigerator-freezer appliances. Here, the following domestic refrigeration appliances are also known: these domestic refrigeration appliances have separate storage areas in the interior chamber, in which the various air humidity to the remaining volume of the interior chamber can be adjusted. This can occur, for example, by introducing the respective wet aerosol by means of an atomizing unit. Thereby extending the storability of food products such as fruits and vegetables.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the present invention is to provide a domestic refrigerator and a method for operating a domestic refrigerator, in which method or with the aid of which the storage of inserted food products is improved.
This object is achieved by a domestic refrigerator and a method according to the independent claims.
The domestic refrigerator according to the invention comprises an interior for accommodating food products, which is delimited by the wall of the interior container. In addition, the domestic refrigeration appliance comprises a storage area into which foodstuffs can be inserted. The domestic refrigerator has, in addition, a food processing unit. The basic idea of the invention is that the food processing unit is designed to act on the surface of the food placed in the storage region and is accordingly arranged in the domestic refrigeration appliance. The food processing unit is configured such that the effect is a purification of pesticides and/or heavy metals of the food. The invention thus achieves: in contrast to the application of atomized fluid, the freshness and thus the storability of the food product are not increased, but rather the elements present on the food product are reduced or eliminated or act on the food product in such a way that their harmful effects are at least reduced. In the present invention, this is achieved by purifying the elements present on the food. The specific elements mentioned relate to pesticides and/or heavy metals. The invention is thus particularly outstanding, since various foodstuffs are nowadays partially extensively treated with pesticides to be able to increase the yield, due to the absence or only a few prescribed behavior patterns. The invention is particularly advantageous because the regulations for handling food products with corresponding agents (e.g. pesticides) in different countries are also applied differently, and because of the increasing international distribution of goods, food products that may possibly be more heavily loaded are also introduced and obtained by the user. The invention is particularly advantageous because it is the particular harmful element which, in the form of pesticides and heavy metals, can be extremely harmful to humans.
The end consumer is therefore also largely unsafe with regard to possible health hazards on the food products due to water-insoluble or poorly soluble pesticide and/or heavy metal residues. The invention also functionally provides the user with a strong resistance to diseases, since the user can then also individually and himself definitively resist diseases if he is not certain whether the food he has obtained is contaminated accordingly. This is also achieved by the invention in that the user is able to achieve the corresponding success not in a separate appliance or by a wide range of other processes of his own, but almost by merely placing the food he/she has obtained into his/her household appliance and running it accordingly.
It is also known that food products may have various other contaminations, such as germs or other microorganisms, which may also be produced when the food products are stored in the cold storage appliance, which germs or other microorganisms can in addition be treated and are different from pesticides and heavy metals.
Preferably, the storage area is separated from the remaining interior space. This embodiment makes it possible to locally carry out targeted cleaning in the domestic appliance. It is therefore not necessary to equip the entire interior with a corresponding food processing unit, so that extensive cleaning is also not necessary here.
Preferably, the storage area is designed as a closed cleaning box. This embodiment makes it possible to improve the cleaning effect and, on the one hand, also to achieve a separate operating mode of the household appliance for storing and refrigerating food products outside the storage region (however in the interior) and, on the other hand, to achieve cleaning of the food products in the storage region.
It can be provided that the cleaning cartridge can be released without damage and can therefore be reversibly and repeatedly removed from the interior and can be placed in again. However, it is also possible for the cleaning cartridge to be integrated into the interior.
Preferably, the food processing unit has an ultraviolet (Ultraviolett) light source. The cleansing action on the food surface can be achieved by a completely specific uv light.
It is also possible for the food processing unit to additionally or alternatively have an ozone generating unit.
It is likewise possible to provide the food processing unit additionally or alternatively with a pulsed electric field (pulsed electric field) unit. A non-thermodynamic cell lysis method is performed by such a device. The method is based on the electroporation of biological cells of the treated medium. In the treatment, an electrical pulse is used, which is characterized by a high field strength (in particular greater than 20 kv/cm) and a short duration (preferably between 500ms and 4 μ s). In this case, irreversible openings in the cell membrane occur, as a result of which intracellular constituents can be released or extracellular substances can be introduced into the cell.
It is likewise possible to provide that the food processing unit has a cold plasma unit. The application is here effected at a temperature below 35 ℃.
It is also possible for the food processing unit to additionally or alternatively have an Intense pulse light (Intense pulse light) unit.
Preferably, the food processing unit has a water adding unit, by means of which a liquid fluid containing water can be applied to the food. Thus, a water-assisted method for purifying pesticides and/or heavy metals of food products can also be realized. For this purpose, the domestic refrigeration device can have a water connection or also an internal water container or water tank which can be filled by the user. The water tank is also configured to be reversibly removable without damage. The decomposition of the residues mentioned in the form of pesticides and/or heavy metals is preferably effected by spraying a specific mixture of active substances and additives, such as chlorine dioxide or the like, which induces an oxidation process on the surface of the food product. The elongated surface can also be penetrated by the addition in the form of a spray. The dispensing of the individual active substances can also be adjusted for the product by means of a separate tank.
It is also possible for the water addition unit to be designed such that the liquid fluid can be sprayed onto the food product and/or the food product can be rinsed therefrom.
Preferably, a water bath is provided which produces an ultrasonic action on the food product. It is also possible to envisage applying a water bath and high-pressure treatment (or pressure-changing process) to the food.
In a particularly advantageous manner, it is provided that the storage area has at least one detection unit for detecting the type and/or amount of pesticides and/or heavy metals. The operation of the food processing unit can thereby be effected in a controlled manner by the control unit in a particularly advantageous manner. In particular, it is provided that the domestic refrigeration appliance has a control unit, by means of which the food processing unit can be controlled as a function of the operating state of the domestic refrigeration appliance and/or the type and/or amount of pesticides and/or heavy metals on the food. In particular, the duration of the food processing unit and/or the moment of activation of the food processing unit can thus be controlled. The cleaning process thereby becomes advantageous again.
In particular, the type and/or amount of pesticides and/or heavy metals can also be determined by the detection unit before and/or after the cleaning process is carried out.
Furthermore, the invention also relates to a method for operating a domestic refrigeration device, comprising: an inner chamber for receiving a food product, the inner chamber being delimited by a wall of the inner container; a storage area in which food items are placed. The decontamination process is performed by the food processing unit. For this purpose, the food treatment unit is accordingly provided in a domestic refrigeration appliance for acting on the surface of the food placed in the storage region, wherein the food is purified of pesticides and/or heavy metals by the action of the treatment medium and the food treatment unit on the food.
An advantageous embodiment of the domestic refrigeration appliance according to the invention is to be regarded as an advantageous embodiment of the method according to the invention. The storage area can be a partial volume of the interior space into which food products in the form of fruits or vegetables or meat can be inserted without cleaning the food products. The storage area can however also be an ice or water maker in a domestic refrigeration appliance. The storage area can therefore also be a water-conducting area of the domestic refrigeration appliance in all essentials.
Further features of the invention arise from the claims, the drawings and the description of the drawings. The features and feature combinations described above in the description and in the following description of the figures and/or in the figures alone can be used not only in the respectively stated combination but also in other combinations or alone without departing from the scope of the invention. Embodiments of the invention which are not explicitly shown and described in the drawings, but which result from the described embodiments by means of a separate combination of features and which can be produced, are therefore to be regarded as included and disclosed.
