本发明公开一种显示装置,所述显示装置包括显示面板、分组模块、数据转换模块、扫描驱动器以及数据驱动器。所述显示面板包括M个像素单元。所述分组模块用于将所述M个像素单元分组为N组像素单元组,并产生至少一分组信息。所述数据转换模块用于接收并转换所述M个像素单元的至少一画面原始数据,以及产生至少一数据信息。所述扫描驱动器用于传送至少一扫描信息至所述M个像素单元。所述数据驱动器用于接收所述至少一数据信息,并传送至少一数据信息至所述M个像素单元。其中每一组所述N组像素单元组均只在一画面周期之N帧之一点亮。通过随机选择发光的像素,进而解决画面闪烁的技术问题。

Description

显示装置及其方法
【技术领域】
本发明涉及液晶显示技术领域,特别是涉及一种应用于OLED(Organic LightEmitting Diode)的显示装置及其方法的。
【背景技术】
通过让OLED在一画面周期的多个帧之间交替发光,即每一帧中只有半数的OLED发光,进而增加OLED的寿命。以下是现有技术的详细说明:
参考图1及图2。图1,绘示现有技术的发光二极管阵列200。图2,绘示图1中一子像素单元100r,100g,100b(后续以100为代表)的细部结构示意图。一有源矩阵有机发光二极管阵列200,包括复数像素单元230a,230b,复数数据线180,180a,180b,180c,180d,180e(后续以180为代表),复数闸极线190,190a,190b,190c,190d(后续以190为代表),一驱动源160以及一接地点150。
所述复数像素单元230a,230b包括复数第一像素单元230a与复数第二像素单元230b,所述第一像素单元230a与第二像素单元230b交错排列。每一像素单元230a,230b包括至少一子像素单元100。每一子像素单元100包括一发光二极管170与一驱动电路240。每一驱动电路240包括一第一驱动晶体管110,一第二驱动晶体管120,一第三驱动晶体管130,一第四驱动晶体管140,与一存储电容250。每个驱动晶体管有一闸极,一第一端与一第二端。所述每个驱动晶体管的第一端为源极,所述每个驱动晶体管的第二端为漏极。
所述发光二极管170的一端耦接至所述驱动源160。
所述第三驱动晶体管130的第一端耦接至其中一数据线180。
所述第一驱动晶体管110的闸极偶接至其中一所述闸极线190。所述第一驱动晶体管110的第一端耦接至所述第三驱动晶体管130的第二端。
所述第四驱动晶体管140的第一端与第二端分别耦接至所述存储电容250的两端。所述第四驱动晶体管140的第二端耦接至一接地点150。
所述第二驱动晶体管120的闸极耦接至所述第一驱动晶体管110的第二端与所述第四驱动晶体管140的第一端。所述第二驱动晶体管120的第一端耦接至所述发光二极管170的另一端。所述第二驱动晶体管120的第二端耦接至所述接地点150。
第一像素单元230a的每个子像素单元100的所述第三驱动晶体管130的闸极接收一第一脉冲信号210,而第二像素单元230b的每个子像素单元100所述第三驱动晶体管130的闸极分别接第二脉冲信号220。第一像素单元230a的每个子像素单元100的所述第四驱动晶体管140的闸极接收所述第二脉冲信号220,而第二像素单元230b的每个子像素单元100所述第四驱动晶体管140的闸极接收所述第一脉冲信号210。
参考图3,绘示图1的驱动效果示意图。举例来说,在第n帧时间里,第一像素单元230a皆为发光;第二像素单元230b皆为截止。亦即,每一个像素单元230a,230b与其相邻(上下左右)的像素单元不会同时发光或截止。在第n+1帧时间里,第一像素单元230a与第二像素单元230b与第n帧的区别就是每个像素单元的状态都改变(发光或截止)。因此通过交替驱动两个相邻像素单元的发光二极管170,的确能够有效增加像素单元的寿命,但是也产生了一些技术问题。
1.由于增加了所述第三驱动晶体管130以及所述第四驱动晶体管140,进而减少了像素单元的开口率;2.由于增加了所述第一脉冲信号210以及所述第二脉冲信号220,进而增加驱动系统的成本。
故,有必要提出一种显示装置及其方法,以解决上述技术问题。
【发明内容】
本发明的目的在于提供一种显示装置。
为实现上述目的,本发明提供一种显示装置,所述显示装置包括显示面板、分组模块、数据转换模块、扫描驱动器以及数据驱动器。
所述显示面板包括M个像素单元。所述分组模块用于将所述M个像素单元分为N组像素单元组,并产生至少一分组信息。所述数据转换模块用于接收并转换所述M个像素单元的至少一画面原始数据,以及产生至少一转换数据信息。所述数据驱动器用于接收接收所述至少一转换数据信息,并传送至少一转换数据信息至所述M个像素单元,使每一组所述N组像素单元组均只在一画面周期之X帧之一点亮。
在一优选实施例中,所述分组模块根据一随机数表产生所述N组像素单元组。
在一优选实施例中,所述数据转换模块根据所述M个像素单元的所述至少一画面原始数据以及所述至少一分组信息产生至少一数据信息。
本发明的另一目的在于提供一种显示方法,包括:首先,分组模块将显示面板的M个像素单元分组为N组像素单元组,并产生至少一分组信息;接着,数据转换模块接收所述M个像素单元的至少一画面原始数据;接着,数据转换模块根据所述M个像素单元组的所述至少一画面原始数据产生至少一转换数据信息;接着,将所述至少一转换数据信息输入一数据驱动器;接着,通过所述数据驱动器将所述至少一数据信息输入至所述M个像素单元,以及通过扫描驱动器将所述至少一扫描信息输入至所述M个像素单元;最后,所述N组像素单元组个别在一画面周期的X帧中依序点亮一次。
在一优选实施例中,所述分组模块根据一随机数表产生所述N组像素单元组。
在一优选实施例中,所述数据转换模块根据所述M个像素单元的所述至少一画面原始数据以及所述至少一分组信息产生所述至少一转换数据信息。
在一优选实施例中,N大于或等于2。
相较于现有技术,本发明不需要设置额外的驱动晶体管以及输入额外的输入信息,藉此避免了开口率的减小以及系统成本的增加。现有技术中相邻像素单元在同一帧中的点亮情况必然相异(一像素单元点亮,其相邻像素单元均不点亮);然而,本发明中利用分组模块根据一随机数表对所述M个像素单元进行分组,产生N组像素单元组,能够让像素点亮与否具有更大的弹性。同时,由于在每一画面周期中,每一个像素单元均只在其中一帧中点亮一次,因此也达到了增加像素单元寿命的目的。再者,因为是根据所述随机数表对所有的像素单元进行分组,能够避免固定分组而产生的画面闪烁的技术问题。

以下各实施例的说明是参考附加的图式,用以例示本发明可用以实施的特定实施例。本发明所提到的方向用语,例如「上」、「下」、「前」、「后」、「左」、「右」、「内」、「外」、「侧面」等,仅是参考附加图式的方向。因此,使用的方向用语是用以说明及理解本发明,而非用以限制本发明。
参考图4,绘示本发明的显示设备300示意图。所述显示装置300包括显示面板330、分组模块310、数据转换模块320、扫描驱动器350以及数据驱动器340。
所述显示面板330包括M个像素单元331(在本优选实施例中以6X6共36个像素单元为例)。所述分组模块310用于将所述M个像素单元331组为N组像素单元组(1-3)(在本优选实施例中以3组为例,图中像素单元的数字表示其分组),并产生至少一分组信息312。所述数据转换模块320用于接收并转换所述M个像素单元331的至少一画面原始数据360,以及产生至少一数据信息322。所述扫描驱动器350用于传送至少一扫描信息352至所述M个像素单元331。所述数据驱动器340用于接收接收所述至少一数据信息322,并传送至少一数据信息322至所述M个像素单元331,进而使每一组所述N组像素单元组(1-3)均只在一画面周期之X帧之一(在本优选实施例中,一画面周期有三帧)点亮。例如,在第一帧时,点亮所述第一组像素单元组(1);在第二帧时,点亮所述第二组像素单元组(2);在第三帧时,点亮所述第三组像素单元组(3)。经本发明实验所得,当X等于N即可对画面闪烁得到相当程度的改善。
所述分组模块310根据一随机数表产生所述N组像素单元组(1-3)。因此,每一组所述N组像素单元组(1-3)的分组情况在不同的画面周期(例如,相邻的画面周期)中不一定会相同。例如,在不同的画面周期中,本优选实施例的第二组像素单元组可以是在第一帧点亮;本优选实施例的第一组像素单元组可以是在第三帧点亮;本优选实施例的第三组像素单元组可以是在第二帧点亮。或者,在不同的画面周期中,每一组所述N组像素单元组(1-3)的分组情况也可以与本优选实施例不同,只要所述M个像素单元331在一画面周期中只点亮一次即可。
再者,每一所述N组像素单元组的像素单元的数量等于M除以N。以本优选实施例而言,M等于36,N等于3,因此,每一所述N组像素单元组(1-3)的数量均等于12。当遇到M无法整除N的时候,用最接近的整数即可,只要让所述M个像素单元331在一画面周期中均能点亮一次即可。
详细地,所述至少一数据信息322是通过所述数据转换模块320根据所述M个像素单元331的所述至少一画面原始数据360以及所述至少一分组信息312而产生。
参考图5,绘示本发明的显示方法流程图。本流程图中所使用的组件请参考图4,不在赘述。所述方法包括:
首先,执行S01,分组模块将显示面板的M个像素单元分为N组像素单元组,并产生至少一分组信息;接着,执行S02,数据转换模块接收所述M个像素单元的至少一画面原始数据;接着,执行S03,数据转换模块根据所述M个像素单元组的所述至少一画面原始数据产生至少一转换数据信息;接着,执行S04,将所述至少一转换数据信息输入一数据驱动器;接着,执行S05,通过所述数据驱动器将所述至少一转换数据信息输入至所述M个像素单元,以及通过扫描驱动器将所述至少一扫描信息输入至所述M个像素单元;最后,执行S06,所述N组像素单元组个别在一画面周期的X帧中依序点亮一次。
经本发明实验所得,当X等于N即可对画面闪烁得到相当程度的改善。
在本发明中,不需要改变原有的扫描信号,只需要对数据信号进行处理即可达成上述技术功效。
综上所述,虽然本发明已以优选实施例揭露如上,但上述优选实施例并非用以限制本发明,本领域的普通技术人员,在不脱离本发明的精神和范围内,均可作各种更动与润饰,因此本发明的保护范围以权利要求界定的范围为准。

Claims (6)

1.一种显示装置,其特征在于,所述显示装置包括:
显示面板,包括M个像素单元;
分组模块,用于将所述M个像素单元分为N组像素单元组,并产生至少一分组信息;
数据转换模块,用于接收所述M个像素单元的至少一画面原始数据,以及产生至少一转换数据信息;及
数据驱动器,用于接收所述至少一转换数据信息,并传送至少一转换数据信息至所述M个像素单元,使每一所述N组像素单元组均只在一画面周期之X帧之一点亮;
所述分组模块根据一随机数表产生所述N组像素单元组,每一组像素单元组在不同画面周期中包括不同的所述像素单元。
2.如权利要求1所述显示装置,其特征在于,所述数据转换模块根据所述M个像素单元的所述至少一画面原始数据以及所述至少一分组信息产生所述至少一转换数据信息。
3.如权利要求1所述显示装置,其特征在于,N大于或等于2。
4.一种显示方法,包括:
分组模块将显示面板的M个像素单元分为N组像素单元组,并产生至少一分组信息,所述分组模块根据一随机数表产生所述N组像素单元组,每一组像素单元组在不同画面周期中包括不同的所述像素单元;
数据转换模块接收所述M个像素单元的至少一画面原始数据;
数据转换模块根据所述M个像素单元的所述至少一画面原始数据产生至少一转换数据信息;
将所述至少一转换数据信息输入一数据驱动器;
通过所述数据驱动器将所述至少一转换数据信息输入至所述M个像素单元,以及通过扫描驱动器将至少一扫描信息输入至所述M个像素单元;以及
所述N组像素单元组分别在一画面周期的X帧中依序点亮一次。
5.如权利要求4所述显示方法,其特征在于,所述数据转换模块根据所述M个像素单元的所述至少一画面原始数据以及所述至少一分组信息产生所述至少一转换数据信息。
