Abstract
本发明提供的一种硅质胶状铅酸蓄电池电解质,
是由硅溶胶、硫酸、平平加、水配制而成的凝胶体,其
重量比为SiO25~8%,H2SO434.4~39.1%,平平加0.1
~0.5%,水60.5~52.4%。本发明具有放电性能稳
定,自放电现象小、无腐蚀、无污染、易维护,使用寿命
长的特点,适合于各种照明(包括矿灯、胶灯、信号灯、
民用灯)、通讯、和机械运动(汽车、摩托车、单车用电
瓶)所需电能装置用蓄电池。
Description
本发明涉及通讯、照明、机械运动等所用电能装置的硅质胶状铅酸蓄电池电解质。
目前,铅酸蓄电池电解质通常有液态和胶状两种。液态电解质为硫酸溶液,这种电解质具有充放电次数少、自放电现象严重、贮存时间短等缺点,还因硫酸溶液易外泄,严重腐蚀和损坏蓄电池的零部件和设备,烧坏携带者的衣服和皮肤,污染环境,维护量大;胶状电解质通常由硅凝胶剂和硫酸溶液混合生成凝胶体,这种电解质虽能有效地防止电池漏酸,但还存在出水、龟裂、自放电现象严重,活性物质脱落、寿命短等问题。
本发明的目的就是在于提供一种放电性能稳定、使用寿命长、易于贮存、无腐蚀、无污染、少维护的胶状电解质。
本发明所提供的硅质胶状铅蓄电池电解质是由硅溶胶、硫酸、平平加和水组成。这种胶状电解质的重量百分比为:SiO25~8%、H2SO34.4~39.1%、平平加0.1~0.5%、H2O60.5~52.4%。
本发明所提供的硅质胶状铅蓄电池电解质主要是因为平平加具有如下特点和作用。一是平平加是中性的非离子有机化合物,在胶状电解质中,与硅溶胶、硫酸都不发生任何反应,不改变胶状电解质中充放电过程的化学反应;二是平平加是一种表面活化剂,它有良好的分散和稳定作用,能使H2SO和H2O均匀地分布在凝胶网络体的空间,有利于充放电过程中的化学反应达到最佳状态;三是平平加具有亲水性能好的特性,因此在维护时,只要在电池槽内注入少量高纯水,就呈湿润状态,避免了蓄电池在长期使用中的缺水现象。
因平平加具有以上特点和作用,所以本发明所提供的硅质胶状铅酸蓄电池电解质具有放电性能稳定、使用寿命长、易于贮存、无腐蚀、无污染、少维护等特点。
最佳实施例:
将硅溶胶、硫酸、平平加、高纯水(蒸馏水)按规定的比例配制好后,经过1-3分钟的搅拌,达到完全混合后,迅速例入KS8(G)型矿灯蓄电池的电池槽内,即逐渐发生凝胶现象,45分钟左右,该混合物全部凝胶,形成胶状电解质。
经测试,与采用液体电解质的KS-8型矿灯相比,其主要性能指标如下表:

1、一种硅质胶状铅酸蓄电池电解质由硅溶胶、硫酸和水组成,其特征在于这种胶体电解质还配有平平加。
2、根据权利要求1所述的硅质胶状铅酸蓄电池电解质,其特征在于配方重量比:SiO2为5~8%、H2SO为34.4~39.1%、平平加为0.1~0.5%、H2O为60.5~52.4%。
3、根据权利要求1所述的硅质胶状铅酸蓄电池电解质,其特征在于水为高纯水。
