Abstract
The present invention provides a mounting tool for a torsion spring of an opening system of a trunk lid of a vehicle, one end of the torsion spring being a U-shaped end so as to be mountable to a hinge bracket of a hinge movable arm of the opening system, the other end of the torsion spring being mountable to a hinge base of the opening system provided on a rear partition, the mounting tool including: a rod-shaped tool body; the clamping end head is arranged at the top end of the tool body and clamps the upper protruding part of the U-shaped end part of the torsion spring; the side bracket is arranged on the tool body below the clamping end head and can clamp one side rod of the U-shaped end part of the torsion spring; and a handle arranged at the lower part of the tool body.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a tool for installing a torsion spring of a trunk opening system of a vehicle, in particular to a tool for installing an indirect torsion spring of the trunk opening system of the vehicle.
Background
In a conventional vehicle, as shown in fig. 1, one end of a hinge 4 is attached to a rear bulkhead 3 in a rear side body 1 of the vehicle, and the other end of the hinge 4 is attached to a trunk lid 2. The hinge is mounted on the hinge base 7 of the rear partition 3. There are four types of hinge opening systems: springs, gas springs, springs and gas springs, torsion springs. The torsion spring is divided into an indirect torsion spring and a direct torsion spring. Figures 2-4 show an opening system of the indirect torsion spring type. The hinge 4 includes a hinge moving arm 5 constructed in a gooseneck shape, one end of the hinge moving arm 5 is connected to a hinge base 7 provided on the rear partition 3, a hinge bracket 6 is provided at a portion of the hinge moving arm 5 adjacent to the hinge support 7, as shown in fig. 3, one end of a torsion spring 8 is fixed to the hinge base 7 on one side, and the other end is fixed to the hinge bracket 6 on the other side. At the other end connected to the hinge bracket 6, there is a substantially U-shaped end. Fig. 4 shows the torsion spring 8 in a different position, position I showing the torsion spring in a free state and position II showing the torsion spring attached to the hinge bracket, wherein the bottom edge of the U-shaped end engages the hinge bracket and the trunk lid is in a closed state. During vehicle assembly, the torsion spring 8 is twisted from position I to position II connected to the hinge bracket by rotating the U-shaped end of the torsion spring 8 by means of existing tools. The existing tools have a substantially straight rod shape and cannot rotate the torsion spring 8 from position I to position II quickly and accurately, thereby being detrimental to the efficiency of the assembly of the vehicle.
Disclosure of Invention
The technical problem to be solved by the invention is to overcome the defects in the prior art, and provide an improved tool for installing an indirect torsion spring of a vehicle trunk opening system, which can quickly and accurately position and install the torsion spring at an installation position, thereby greatly improving the assembly efficiency of a vehicle.
According to the present invention, there is provided a mounting tool for an indirect torsion spring of an opening system of a trunk lid of a vehicle, one end of the torsion spring being a U-shaped end so as to be mountable to a hinge bracket of a hinge movable arm of the opening system, the other end of the torsion spring being mountable to a hinge base of the opening system provided on a rear partition, the mounting tool comprising:
a rod-shaped tool body;
the clamping end head is arranged at the top end of the tool body and clamps the upper protruding part of the U-shaped end part of the torsion spring;
the side bracket is arranged on the tool body below the clamping end head and can clamp one side rod of the U-shaped end part of the torsion spring; and
a handle disposed at a lower portion of the tool body.
Preferably, the clamping head has a U-shaped configuration.
Preferably, the side brackets have a U-shaped configuration.
Preferably, a protective sleeve is also provided on the tool body below the side bracket, the protective sleeve being adapted to abut against the bottom bar of the U-shaped end of the torsion spring.
Preferably, the protective sleeve is made of a plastics material.

Detailed Description
Fig. 5 shows an installation tool 9 according to the invention gripping the torsion spring 8 by its head (i.e. the installation tool 9 located in the upper part of fig. 5), rotating the torsion spring such that the torsion spring 8 is rotated into an assembly position engaging the hinge bracket 6, the installation tool 9 being now located in the lower part of fig. 5.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 6, the setting tool 9 has a rod-shaped tool body 14, a grip end 10 is provided at the tip of the tool body 14, a side bracket 11 is connected to a portion of the tool body near the grip end 10, a protective sleeve 12 is provided at a portion of the tool body below the side bracket, and a handle 13 is provided at the bottom of the tool body. The clamping end 10 of the installation tool 9, the clamping end 10 is provided with a U-shaped structure so as to clamp an upper protruding rod part 81 of a U-shaped end part of the torsion spring 8, the side bracket 11 of the installation tool 9 is provided with a U-shaped structure so as to clamp a side rod 82 of the U-shaped end part, and therefore the torsion spring can be effectively prevented from moving in the Y direction in the assembly process through the matching of the clamping end 10 and the side bracket 11 with the U-shaped end part of the torsion spring, the position of the torsion spring in the installation process is ensured to be unchanged, the assembly is enabled to be faster and more accurate, the assembly efficiency is higher, and the assembly performance is more stable. While the protective sleeve 12 rests on the bottom bar 83 of the U-shaped end, preventing metal-to-metal contact that could damage the surface coating. Wherein the protective sleeve 12 is made of a plastic material.
While the invention has been shown and described with respect to the embodiments, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications may be made without departing from the scope of the invention.
Claims (5)
1. A mounting tool for a torsion spring of an opening system of a trunk lid of a vehicle, one end of the torsion spring being a U-shaped end so as to be mountable to a hinge bracket of a hinge movable arm of the opening system, the other end of the torsion spring being mountable to a hinge base on a rear partition of the vehicle, the mounting tool comprising:
a rod-shaped tool body;
the clamping end head is arranged at the top end of the tool body and clamps the upper protruding part of the U-shaped end part of the torsion spring;
the side bracket is arranged on the tool body below the clamping end head and can clamp one side rod of the U-shaped end part of the torsion spring; and
a handle disposed at a lower portion of the tool body.
2. The installation tool of claim 1 wherein the gripping tip has a U-shaped configuration.
3. The installation tool of claim 1 or 2, wherein the side brackets have a U-shaped configuration.
4. Installation tool according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that a protective sleeve is further provided on the tool body below the side bracket, which protective sleeve is adapted to abut against the bottom bar of the U-shaped end of the torsion spring.
5. The installation tool of claim 4, wherein said protective sleeve is made of a plastic material.
