技术领域
本公开一般涉及用于在交通工具(vehicle)的计算设备和地面元件之间进行通信的方法和系统,并且更具体地涉及用于配置在交通工具的计算设备和地面元件之间的数据通信路径的方法和系统。
背景技术
今天的交通工具(诸如飞行器、地面交通工具、水面舰艇等)包括用于传输数据的多个通信路径。通常,用于特定传输的通信路径是预定的且不可改变的。在当通信路径中的一个或多个部件显现出有问题的行为时,没有用于改变通信路径的简单手段。
因此,存在对于用于交通工具通信的改进的系统和方法的需要。从随后的详细描述和所附的权利要求,结合附图和前述的技术领域和背景技术,其它合期望的特征和特性将变得显而易见。
发明内容
在一个实施例中,提供了一种用于管理来自交通工具的计算设备的通信方法。该方法包括:接收由用户生成的配置参数:基于所述配置参数而确定通信优先级方案;基于所述通信优先级方案根据第一通信介质传送数据的第一子集;以及,基于所述通信优先级方案根据第二通信介质传送数据的第二子集。
在另一个实施例中,提供了一种用于与交通工具相关联的计算设备的通信系统。该通信系统包括非临时计算机可读介质。所述非临时计算机可读介质包括:第一模块,其接收由用户生成的配置参数,并基于所述配置参数而确定通信优先级方案;和第二模块,其基于所述通信优先级方案根据第一通信介质传送数据的第一子集,并且基于所述通信优先级方案根据第二通信介质传送数据的第二子集。
在又一个实施例中,提供了一种飞行器的计算设备。该计算设备包括非临时计算机可读介质。所述非临时计算机可读介质包括:第一模块,其接收由用户生成的配置参数,以及基于所述配置参数而确定通信优先级方案;和第二模块,其基于所述通信优先级方案根据第一通信介质传送数据的第一子集,并且基于所述通信优先级方案根据第二通信介质传送数据的第二子集。

计算设备16、18中的每一个通常包括一个或多个处理器20、22,以及与一个或多个输入/输出设备28、30和一个或多个通信设备32、34进行通信的一个或多个数据存储设备24、26。通信设备32、34被配置为使用一种或多种通信方法直接或间接地彼此进行通信。例如,通信设备32、34可以直接使用预定义的通信协议(例如,UHF、VHF、FM、以太网、RS-232、RS-422、Mil-STD-1553/1773等)进行通信,和/或可以通过经由一个或多个预定义的通信协议(例如,蜂窝通信网络、Wi-Fi等)进行通信的一个或多个通信网络36进行间接通信。直接通信和间接通信在后文中将共同地称为通信介质。
根据本公开,飞行器12的计算设备16包括通信管理器模块38。通信管理器模块38被存储在数据存储设备24中,并包括可以由处理器20执行的指令。当被执行时,所述指令使通信管理器模块38管理用于数据从计算设备16被传输到地面元件14的通信路径。在各种实施例中,所述指令在被执行时,使通信管理器模块38配置用于管理通信路径的参数。所述参数可基于与各种通信方法相关联的属性。例如,基于与计算设备16进行交互(例如,经由接口和输入/输出设备28)以创建配置参数的用户,或者基于存储参数且被提供给计算设备16的配置文件,能够执行参数配置。
在各种实施例中,所述指令在被执行时,还使通信管理器模块38基于与可用通信介质相关联的参数和属性在数据的传输期间修改通信的当前路径。例如,通信管理器模块38可基于可用通信装置的参数和属性识别当前路径,并可以当具有期望属性的通信介质变得可用时在数据的传输期间修改当前路径。
现在参考图2,数据流图图示了通信管理器模块38的各种实施例。根据本公开的通信管理器模块38的各种实施例可以包括嵌入在通信管理器模块38内的任何数量的子模块。如可以认识到的是,图2中示出的子模块可以被组合和/或进一步划分,以类似地管理飞行器12(图1)和地面元件14(图1)之间的通信路径。去往通信管理器模块38的输入可从飞行器12(图1)的其它模块(未示出)或计算设备16(图1)接收,由通信管理器模块38内的其它子模块(未示出)确定/建模,和/或可以是基于与计算设备16(图1)交互的用户的某个其它形式的用户输入。在各种实施例中,通信管理器模块38包括参数配置模块40、优先级方案确定模块42、可用介质确定模块44、路径确定模块46和通信模块48。
参数配置模块40接收配置数据50作为输入。参数配置模块40基于配置数据50而确定配置参数52。在各种实施例中,配置数据50可以是由用户配置和存储的预先存储的配置文件的一部分。在各种其它实施例中,配置数据50是基于用户与配置用户接口的交互而接收的。在这样的实施例中,参数配置模块40可以生成用户接口数据54,其用于显示用于生成配置数据50的配置用户接口。
配置参数52包括与通信介质相关联的属性。例如,该属性可以包括但不限于传输速度、用户的成本、传输可靠性或者任何其它因素。配置参数52还包括属性的一个或多个排序。该排序可以指示属性的优先级,因为它们关于数据的通信。例如,排序可以使传输速度优先于传输可靠性。
在各种实施例中,配置参数还可以包括条件(condition)。该条件可以与特定属性和/或特定排序相关联。该条件可以基于除通信介质之外的准则,诸如但不限于,待传输数据的重要性、交通工具位置、待传输数据的安全性要求等。通过将条件与属性和/或排序相关联,可以提供针对多个属性的多个排序。
优先级方案确定模块42接收配置参数52作为输入。优先级方案确定模块42基于配置参数52而确定优先级方案56。例如,优先级方案确定模块42基于条件参数而设置优先级方案的条件;且优先级方案确定模块42将属性的排序与特定条件相关联。
可用介质确定模块44接收通信介质数据58作为输入。通信介质数据58包括指示各种通信介质的可用性的数据。可用介质确定模块44基于通信介质数据58而确定可用通信介质60。例如,可用介质确定模块44评估飞行器12(图1)的位置或操作状态和通信介质数据58以确定可用通信介质60。
路径确定模块46接收优先级方案56、可用介质60以及待传输的数据62(或关于待传输的数据的数据)作为输入。路径确定模块46基于优先级方案56通过一个或多个可用通信介质60而确定通信路径64。例如,当优先级方案56指示对于所有标准数据来说成本属性被赋予最高优先级,具有相关联的最低成本属性的可用通信介质被选择用于路径64。然而,如果待传输的数据62被认为是高重要性(criticality)数据,并且优先级方案56指示对于高重要性数据来说可靠性属性被赋予最高优先级时,则具有相关联的最可靠属性的可用通信介质被选择用于路径64。
通信模块48接收通信路径64和待传输的数据62作为输入。通信模块48传输数据66或准备数据以供基于通信路径64的传输。例如,如果通信路径64指示第一通信介质,则通信模块48使用第一通信介质的连接和通信协议来传输数据66。然而,如果在传输期间,通信路径64已被更新到另一通信介质,则通信模块48暂停在第一通信介质上的传输,并使用另一个通信介质的连接和通信协议来恢复传输。
现在参考图3,并继续参考图1和2,流程图图示了根据本公开可以由图2的通信管理器模块38来执行的通信方法。如鉴于本公开可以认识到的是,方法内的操作次序并不限于如图3所示的顺序执行,但可以以如可适用的一个或多个变化的次序和根据本公开来执行。如可以进一步认识到的是,可以在不改变本方法的精神的情况下添加一个或多个步骤,或者从在图3中所示的方法中移除一个或多个步骤。
在各种实施例中,该方法可以基于预定事件被调度以运行,和/或可在飞行器12的操作期间连续运行。
该方法可以开始于100。在110,确定是否接收到新的配置参数52(例如,基于与用户接口交互的用户、基于配置文件或基于某个其它方法)。如果在110未接收到新的配置参数52,则在130该方法继续确定数据是否要被传输。
然而,如果在110接收到新的配置参数52,则在120通信优先级方案56基于配置参数52而被确定且被存储以供未来使用。例如,如上面所讨论的,配置参数52指示通信介质的什么属性要被评估且指示与属性相关联的排序。在各种实施例中,配置参数附加地包括附加于排序或替代排序而评估的条件。
该方法在130继续确定数据是否要被传输。如果在130不传输数据,则该方法可在140结束。然而,如果在130要传输数据,则在150确定可用通信介质60(例如,基于当前位置或其它可用信息)。然后基于优先级方案56(新近更新的优先级方案或先前存储的优先级方案)以及可用通信介质60而确定通信路径64。例如,评估可用通信介质60的属性,并选择具有最高排序的属性的通信介质用于通信介质,除非满足指示应该使用另一个通信介质的条件。
在170使用所选择的通信路径64来传送数据。在180评估数据通信是否完成。如果在180数据通信未完成,则在190检查条件以查看是否确定了新的通信路径。如果条件尚未被改变,则在170数据被传送,直到在180完成通信。此后方法可以结束于140。
然而,如果条件已经改变,则在150确定可用通信介质60,在160确定通信路径64,并且在170传送数据。在170的传输期间,如果通信路径64已改变,则第一路径上的数据传输暂时暂停(如果其尚未已经停止),并且数据的传输在新的路径上恢复。传输发生,直到在180完成,且该方法在140结束。

Claims (6)

1.一种用于管理来自交通工具的计算设备的通信的方法,其中所述计算设备位于所述交通工具内用于管理到地面元件的通信,所述计算设备包括:
通过用户接口接收由用户生成的配置参数,所述配置参数包括通信介质的多个属性,所述属性包括成本、速度、可靠性、数据重要性和使用中的通信路径,其中所述交通工具是飞行器,并且所述用户接口位于飞行器的座舱中或替代地位于飞行器内的其他位置;
通过耦合到参数模块的优先级模块,基于所述配置参数而确定用于地面元件的多个条件的通信优先级方案,其中所述配置参数的多个属性包括相应的特定条件的排序;
基于所述通信优先级方案根据第一通信介质,通过与优先级方案相关的多个属性的一个或多个属性传送数据的第一子集,其中用于通信路径的可用通信介质通过一个或多个可用通信介质将数据传送到地面元件,其中所述一个或多个属性至少包括:用于数据传输的最高可靠性或最低成本的优先级;
通过基于来自通信确定模块的评估的通信模块,根据具有相关联的通信优先级方案的第一通信介质,将用于传输的数据的第一子集传送到地面元件;
在数据的第一子集的传输期间,响应于通信介质到地面元件的改变,所述改变包括从当前通信介质到另一通信介质的通信路径中的更新,由此通信管理模块暂停在第一通信介质上正在进行的传输,将正在进行的传输切换到具有可用通信介质的替代通信路径,并在替代通信路径上恢复正在进行的传输,其中当前通信介质是具有相关联的通信优先级方案的第一通信介质;和
完成数据的第一子集到地面元件的传输后,基于所述通信优先级方案根据第二通信介质传送数据的第二子集。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中接收配置参数基于存储的配置文件。
3.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述配置参数还包括通信介质的属性的排序。
4.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述配置参数还包括与属性的排序和属性中的至少一个相关联的至少一个条件。
5.根据权利要求4所述的方法,其中所述至少一个条件还与待传输的数据的安全性、待传输的数据的重要性和交通工具的操作状态中的至少一个相关联。
6.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中传送数据的第一子集还基于所述可用通信介质的属性。
