Detailed Description
The following describes the embodiments in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The method for sending information through a WLAN according to the embodiments of the present invention may be applied to a terminal providing an internet access service, as shown in fig. 1, and the method includes:
step 101, the multimedia information is encoded by the first cell and the second cell to obtain the frame for information transmission.
Here, when the frame is a Beacon frame, the first cell is an Advertisement Protocol, the second cell is a vector Specific, and the vector Specific is one or more than one, and the Advertisement Protocol and the vector Specific can encapsulate the split part of the multimedia information through respective information carrying sub-cells (vector Specific content sub-cells) until the encapsulation is finished.
Here, the multimedia information is matched with the environment address information of the WLAN coverage area where the user is located. For example, the user starts WIFI in the coverage area of the WLAN at an airport, enters the coverage area of the WLAN at the airport, the environment of the coverage area of the WLAN is the airport, the environment address information of the coverage area of the WLAN is the relevant position information of the airport, and correspondingly, the multimedia information is the relevant service information of the airport, such as flight information, weather information of the airport, and the like, so that the user can conveniently obtain various relevant service information of the airport in time when accessing the coverage area of the WLAN, and arrange his own journey. For another example, the user starts WIFI in the WLAN coverage area of the mall, enters the WLAN coverage area of the mall, the environment of the WLAN coverage area is the mall, the environment address information of the WLAN coverage area is the relevant location information of the mall, and correspondingly, the multimedia information is the service information relevant to the mall, such as discount information, shop information, shopping guide information, and the like, so that the user can conveniently obtain various relevant service information of the mall in time when accessing the WLAN coverage area, and arrange his shopping plan.
And 102, broadcasting the frame for information transmission in the WLAN coverage area where the user is located.
The method for receiving information through WLAN according to the embodiment of the present invention may be applied to a terminal using an internet access service, as shown in fig. 2, and includes:
step 201, receiving a frame for information transmission in the coverage area of the WLAN where the user is located.
Step 202, decoding the frame for information transmission to obtain multimedia information encoded by the combination of the first cell and the second cell.
Here, when the frame is a Beacon frame, the first cell is an Advertisement Protocol, the second cell is a vector specification, and the vector specification is one or more than one cell, and since the Advertisement Protocol and the vector specification can encapsulate the split part of the multimedia information through respective information carrying sub-cells (vector specification Content sub-cells) during encapsulation, the part of the multimedia information correspondingly encapsulated by the Advertisement Protocol and the vector specification through respective information carrying sub-cells (vector specification Content sub-cells) needs to be decapsulated until decapsulation is finished.

As shown in fig. 3, the sending device of the embodiment of the present invention may be applied to a terminal providing an internet access service, and includes: an encoding unit 11, configured to encode the multimedia information by using a first cell and a second cell to obtain a frame for information transmission; a sending unit 12, configured to broadcast the frame for information transmission in the WLAN coverage area where the user is located.
The receiving device of the embodiment of the present invention may be applied to a terminal using an internet access service, and as shown in fig. 4, the receiving device includes: a receiving unit 21, configured to receive a frame for information transmission in a WLAN coverage area where a user is located; a decoding unit 22, configured to decode the frame for information transmission, so as to obtain multimedia information encoded by the first cell and the second cell.
Taking as an example that when the frame is a Beacon frame, the first cell is an Advertisement Protocol, the second cell is a Vendor Specific, and the information carrying sub-cell is a Vendor Specific Content sub-cell, the following description is made to the embodiments of the present invention:
the WLAN herein refers to a Wireless Local Area Network, and is an abbreviation of Wireless Local Area Network. At present, almost all terminals are equipped with WLAN modules, and terminals with WLAN functions are divided into two categories, 1) the first category is terminals providing internet access service, called Access Points (AP), and an AP, that is, a wireless access point, is a creator of a wireless network, and is a central node of the network. For example, a wireless router used in a general home or office is an AP; 2) the second type is terminals using this access service, called STAs, to which terminals, such as laptops, PDAs and other network-enabled user equipments, each connected to the wireless network belong. After the AP is started, Beacon frames are regularly broadcasted on a set wireless channel, the Beacon frames contain basic information of the AP, and after the STA starts a WLAN function, the STA can scan the Beacon frames of all channels through a background to know which APs can be accessed currently. After establishing connection with the AP, the STA can access the Internet through the AP. Even if the STA is in the connected state, the STA still scans other APs nearby in the background. Since the propagation range of the WLAN signal is about 100m to 300m, the WLAN is a natural multimedia information providing scheme based on the location, so that after the user starts the WIFI function in the coverage range of the WLAN in the location, the user can access the WLAN to surf the internet and can also obtain the service information related to the location, such as the service information of airports and shopping malls and the like, as described above. Here, the multimedia information may be advertisement information, and the STA may provide a location-based advertisement service for the user by publishing the advertisement information in the Beacon frame issued by the AP and receiving the advertisement information in the Beacon frame.
At present, basic text advertisement information can be provided by setting a Service Set Identifier (SSID) of the AP. However, the SSID for advertising has a drawback that at most 32 bytes can carry very limited content, and for non-ASCII characters, less information can be carried by using UTF-8 encoding.
If Advertisement information is issued through the Beacon frame Advertisement Protocol cell, the cell can only carry 255 bytes at most, although simple text information can be carried, the data volume is not large enough, and multimedia information with larger data volume such as Logo cannot be carried. Although there may be a plurality of Vendor Specific cells, which can carry more information, it cannot be determined whether the cells are advertisement information. Because the current setting is that Advertisement information is issued by Advertisement Protocol cells, although there are a plurality of vector Specific cells, the vector Specific cells can bear more information but cannot determine whether the cells are Advertisement information, and the vector Specific cells need to be used in combination, so that the multimedia information with large data volume can be sent, and the multimedia information can also be determined to be Advertisement information, and a user can receive the Advertisement information service based on the position provided for the user.
The embodiment of the invention can send the advertisement information in the multimedia format at the access point terminal AP and receive the advertisement information in the multimedia format at the non-access point terminal based on the WLAN protocol, and data encapsulation and corresponding decapsulation are carried out through preset configuration, so that the sending and receiving of the advertisement information in the multimedia format by the WLAN are possible.
The data encapsulation and corresponding decapsulation performed by the preset configuration are explained as follows:
the embodiment of the invention realizes the release and the reception of Advertisement information such as large-data-volume text, multimedia data (logo information such as images) and the like through the Beacon frame by combining and defining the corresponding data format of the Advertisement Protocol cell and the VendorSpecific cell of the Beacon frame.
The invention adopts the following technical scheme:
(1) and defining the data value of the AP Beacon frame Advertisement Protocol cell Advertisement Protocol ID sub-cell, and adopting a first preset value 221, namely a self-defined data format. As shown in Table 1 below, Table 1 is a definition of Advertisement Protocol ID.
Figure BDA0000454732960000091

(2) Data format definition is performed on the vector Specific Content subcell of the Advertisement Protocol cell, as shown in the following table 2, table 2 is a description of data format definition of the vector Specific Content subcell, and the description includes the contents shown in the following table:
