技术领域
本发明涉及显示技术领域,特别是涉及一种导光板、背光模组、显示装置及显示控制系统。
背景技术
在平板显示装置中,薄膜晶体管液晶显示器(Thin Film Transistor LiquidCrystal Display,TFT-LCD)具有体积小、功耗低、制造成本相对较低和无辐射等特点,在当前的平板显示器市场占据了主导地位。
目前,TFT-LCD已可以实现区域显示功能。以手机为例,当手机的保护套处于闭合状态时,手机屏幕对应保护套窗口的区域可显示一些常规信息,例如时钟信息、天气信息或者来电信息等,而手机屏幕的其它区域则显示黑屏。这样,用户无需打开保护套即可进行一些基础操作,例如接听来电、查看时钟信息、天气信息、短信息等。
上述现有技术存在的缺陷在于,TFT-LCD在进行区域显示时,整个屏幕仍处于全功耗工作状态,因此,显示装置的功耗较高。
发明内容
本发明实施例的目的是提供一种导光板、背光模组、显示装置及显示控制系统,以降低显示装置在进行区域显示时的功耗。
本发明实施例提供了一种导光板,所述导光板具有第一工作状态和第二工作状态;在所述第一工作状态,所述导光板的上表面为出光面;在所述第二工作状态,所述导光板的上表面包括出光区域和非出光区域。
在本发明实施例的技术方案中,当显示装置进行区域显示时,导光板工作在第二工作状态,这时导光板的上表面包括出光区域和非出光区域,光源射入导光板的光线在导光板内反射后最终从导光板的出光区域射出。相比现有技术,显示装置在进行区域显示时,光利用率比较高,因此,在满足显示要求的前提下,光源的功耗可以降低,也就是降低显示装置在进行区域显示时的功耗。
优选的,所述导光板对应出光区域和非出光区域的分界截面处嵌设有第一电泳膜;所述第一电泳膜可在第一电压控制下透射光线,使导光板工作在第一工作状态,及可在第二电压控制下反射光线,使导光板工作在第二工作状态。
该技术方案中,当显示装置进行区域显示时,第一电泳膜可将光线反射,光源射入导光板的光线可在多次反射后从导光板的出光区域射出,导光板的非出光区域则不会有光线射出。显示装置在进行区域显示时,光利用率比较高,因此,在满足显示要求的前提下,光源的功耗可以降低,也就是降低显示装置在进行区域显示时的功耗。
优选的,所述导光板的非出光区域设置有第二电泳膜;所述第二电泳膜可在第三电压控制下透射光线,使导光板工作在第一工作状态,及可在第四电压控制下反射光线,使导光板工作在第二工作状态。

较佳的,所述导光板的出光区域设置有透光膜。
可选的,所述导光板包括楔形导光板或者平板导光板。
基于相同的发明构思,本发明实施例还提供了一种背光模组,包括前述任一技术方案所述的导光板,以及位于所述导光板入光侧的光源。包含该背光模组的显示装置,在进行区域显示时的功耗较低。
优选的,所述光源至少为两个,且对应导光板的非出光区域的光源,可在导光板处于第一工作状态时开启,及在导光板处于第二工作状态时关闭。该方案可进一步降低显示装置进行区域显示时背光模组的功耗,从而降低显示装置的功耗。
基于相同的发明构思,本发明实施例还提供了一种显示装置,包括前述任一技术方案所述的背光模组。该显示装置在进行区域显示时的功耗较低。
优选的,所述液晶面板包括至少两个栅线驱动模块,且对应导光板的非出光区域的栅线驱动模块,可在导光板处于第一工作状态时输出信号给对应的栅线,及在导光板处于第二工作状态时停止输出信号给对应的栅线;和/或所述液晶面板还包括至少两个数据线驱动模块,且对应导光板的非出光区域的数据线驱动模块,可在导光板处于第一工作状态时输出信号给对应的数据线,及在导光板处于第二工作状态时停止输出信号给对应的数据线。通过该方案可降低液晶面板的逻辑功耗,从而进一步降低显示装置进行区域显示时的功耗。
基于相同的发明构思,本发明实施例还提供了一种显示控制系统,包括:液晶面板、如前述实施例所述的背光模组,以及与液晶面板和背光模组分别信号连接的控制模块,其中:所述控制模块用于在收到区域显示指令时,控制背光模组的导光板工作在第二工作状态。通过该显示控制系统,可以显著降低显示装置进行区域显示时的功耗。

为了降低显示装置在进行区域显示时的功耗,本发明实施例提供了一种导光板、背光模组、显示装置及显示控制系统。为使本发明的目的、技术方案和优点更加清楚,以下举实施例对本发明作进一步详细说明。
本发明实施例提供的导光板,具有第一工作状态和第二工作状态;在第一工作状态,导光板的上表面为出光面;在第二工作状态,导光板的上表面包括出光区域和非出光区域。
当显示装置进行区域显示时,导光板工作在第二工作状态,这时导光板的上表面包括出光区域和非出光区域,光源射入导光板的光线在导光板内反射后最终从导光板的出光区域射出。相比现有技术,显示装置在进行区域显示时,光利用率比较高,因此,在满足显示要求的前提下,光源的功耗可以降低,也就是降低显示装置在进行区域显示时的功耗。
在本发明的各实施例中,导光板既可以采用楔形导光板,也可以采用平板导光板。优选采用楔形导光板,楔形导光板可以优化光学设计,提高光利用率,改善背光模组的亮度和均一性。
如图1所示,在本发明的一个实施例中,导光板1a对应出光区域2和非出光区域3的分界截面处嵌设有第一电泳膜4;第一电泳膜4可在第一电压控制下透射光线,使导光板1a工作在第一工作状态,及可在第二电压控制下反射光线,使导光板1a工作在第二工作状态。
电泳是指在电场作用下,带电粒子向着与其电性相反的电极移动。当向第一电泳膜4施加第一电压时,第一电泳膜4可以透射光线,此时,导光板1a工作在第一工作状态,上表面为出光面,这与普通导光板功能无差异。当向第一电泳膜4施加第二电压时,第一电泳膜4则反射光线,光线无法穿透第一电泳膜4,因此,导光板1a上表面的部分区域(即非出光区域3)无法射出光线,背光模组的相应画面区域则为暗画面。由于液晶面板本身并不发光,通过背光模组的区域点亮可使显示装置实现区域显示。
在现有技术中,当显示装置进行区域显示时,背光模组仍然全区域点亮,功耗比较高。而在本发明图1所示的实施例中,当显示装置进行区域显示时,第一电泳膜4可将光线反射,光源射入导光板1a的光线可在第一电泳膜4和反射片(图中未示出)的多次反射后从导光板1a的出光区域2射出,导光板1a的非出光区域3则不会有光线射出。显示装置在进行区域显示时,光利用率比较高,因此,在满足显示要求的前提下,光源的功耗可以降低,也就是降低显示装置在进行区域显示时的功耗。
如图2所示,在本发明的另一个实施例中,导光板1b的非出光区域3设置有第二电泳膜5;第二电泳膜5可在第三电压控制下透射光线,使导光板1b工作在第一工作状态,及可在第四电压控制下反射光线,使导光板1b工作在第二工作状态。
与图1所示实施例的原理类似,当向第二电泳膜5施加第三电压时,第二电泳膜5可以透射光线,此时,导光板1b工作在第一工作状态,上表面为出光面,这与普通导光板功能无差异。当向第二电泳膜5施加第四电压时,第二电泳膜5则反射光线,光线无法穿透第二电泳膜5,因此,导光板1b上表面的部分区域(即非出光区域3)无法射出光线,背光模组的相应画面区域则为暗画面。由于液晶面板本身并不发光,通过背光模组的区域点亮可使显示装置实现区域显示。
该技术方案中,当显示装置进行区域显示时,第二电泳膜5的下表面可将光线反射,光源射入导光板1b的光线可在第二电泳膜5和反射片(图中未示出)的多次反射后从导光板1b的出光区域2射出,导光板1b的非出光区域3则不会有光线射出。显示装置在进行区域显示时,光利用率比较高,因此,在满足显示要求的前提下,光源的功耗可以降低,也就是降低显示装置在进行区域显示时的功耗。
如图2所示,导光板1b的出光区域2还设置有透光膜6,该透光膜6与第二电泳膜5厚度相同。透光膜6和第二电泳膜5可以涂覆或者贴附于导光板板体的上表面,其具体形成工艺不作具体限定。值得一提的时,透光膜6、第二电泳膜5和导光板板体也可以为独立部件,组配于背光模组中。此外,透光膜也可以为第三电压控制下的电泳膜。
基于相同的发明构思,本发明实施例还提供了一种背光模组,如图3所示,该背光模组包括前述任一实施例的导光板1,以及位于导光板入光侧的光源7。通过上述分析可以看出,包含该背光模组的显示装置,在进行区域显示时的功耗较低。
光源7的类型不限,例如可以为发光二极管LED,也可以为冷阴极射线管CCFL等等。光源7的具体设置位置不限,可结合导光板1的具体结构来设计。针对图1所示的导光板1a,光源可以设置在导光板的侧边,光线从导光板的侧端面射入导光板内。针对图2所示的导光板1b,光源可以设置在导光板的侧边,光线从导光板的侧端面射入导光板内;此外,光源也可以设置在导光板的下方,光线从导光板的底面射入导光板内。
如图3所示,光源7至少为两个,且对应导光板1的非出光区域3的光源7,可在导光板1处于第一工作状态时开启,及在导光板1处于第二工作状态时关闭。该方案可进一步降低显示装置进行区域显示时背光模组的功耗,从而降低显示装置的功耗。
基于相同的发明构思,本发明实施例还提供了一种显示装置,包括前述任一实施例的背光模组。通过上述分析可以看出,该显示装置在进行区域显示时的功耗较低。显示装置的具体类型不限,包括但不限于手机、平板电脑、液晶电视、液晶显示器、电子书等等。
如图4所示,优选的,液晶面板10包括至少两个栅线驱动模块9,且对应导光板的非出光区域的栅线驱动模块,可在导光板处于第一工作状态时输出信号给对应的栅线,及在导光板处于第二工作状态时停止输出信号给对应的栅线;此外,液晶面板也可包括至少两个数据线驱动模块,且对应导光板的非出光区域的数据线驱动模块,可在导光板处于第一工作状态时输出信号给对应的数据线,及在导光板处于第二工作状态时停止输出信号给对应的数据线。该实施例可降低液晶面板的逻辑功耗,从而进一步降低显示装置进行区域显示时的功耗。
基于相同的发明构思,本发明实施例还提供了一种显示控制系统,如图5所示,该显示控制系统包括:液晶面板10、如前述实施例的背光模组11,以及与液晶面板10和背光模组11分别信号连接的控制模块12,其中:控制模块12用于在收到区域显示指令时,控制背光模组11的导光板工作在第二工作状态。进一步的,控制模块12也可以在收到区域显示指令时,同时控制对应导光板的非出光区域的光源关闭;以及控制对应导光板的非出光区域的栅线驱动模块停止输出信号给对应的栅线。通过该显示控制系统,可以显著降低显示装置进行区域显示时的功耗。
显然,本领域的技术人员可以对本发明进行各种改动和变型而不脱离本发明的精神和范围。这样,倘若本发明的这些修改和变型属于本发明权利要求及其等同技术的范围之内,则本发明也意图包含这些改动和变型在内。

Claims (10)

1.一种导光板,其特征在于,所述导光板具有第一工作状态和第二工作状态;在所述第一工作状态,所述导光板的上表面为出光面;在所述第二工作状态,所述导光板的上表面包括出光区域和非出光区域。
2.如权利要求1所述的导光板,其特征在于,所述导光板对应出光区域和非出光区域的分界截面处嵌设有第一电泳膜;所述第一电泳膜可在第一电压控制下透射光线,使导光板工作在第一工作状态,及可在第二电压控制下反射光线,使导光板工作在第二工作状态。
3.如权利要求1所述的导光板,其特征在于,所述导光板的非出光区域设置有第二电泳膜;所述第二电泳膜可在第三电压控制下透射光线,使导光板工作在第一工作状态,及可在第四电压控制下反射光线,使导光板工作在第二工作状态。
4.如权利要求3所述的导光板,其特征在于,所述导光板的出光区域设置有透光膜。
5.如权利要求1~4任一项所述的导光板,其特征在于,所述导光板包括楔形导光板或者平板导光板。
6.一种背光模组,其特征在于,包括如权利要求1~5任一项所述的导光板,以及位于所述导光板入光侧的光源。
7.如权利要求6所述的背光模组,其特征在于,所述光源至少为两个,且对应导光板的非出光区域的光源,可在导光板处于第一工作状态时开启,及在导光板处于第二工作状态时关闭。
8.一种显示装置,其特征在于,包括液晶面板以及如权利要求6或7所述的背光模组。
9.如权利要求8所述的显示装置,其特征在于,
所述液晶面板包括至少两个栅线驱动模块,且对应导光板的非出光区域的栅线驱动模块,可在导光板处于第一工作状态时输出信号给对应的栅线,及在导光板处于第二工作状态时停止输出信号给对应的栅线;和/或
所述液晶面板还包括至少两个数据线驱动模块,且对应导光板的非出光区域的数据线驱动模块,可在导光板处于第一工作状态时输出信号给对应的数据线,及在导光板处于第二工作状态时停止输出信号给对应的数据线。
10.一种显示控制系统,其特征在于,包括:液晶面板、如权利要求6或7所述的背光模组,以及与液晶面板和背光模组分别信号连接的控制模块,其中:
所述控制模块用于在收到区域显示指令时,控制背光模组的导光板工作在第二工作状态。
