Abstract
本发明公开了一种背光源和显示装置,所述背光源包括灯管组和至少一个棱镜片,所述棱镜片上靠近所述灯管组的一侧具有第一边缘,所述背光源还包括遮光片,所述遮光片上对应于所述灯管组的一侧具有用于限定所述背光源的发光区域的内边缘,所述第一边缘与所述灯管组之间的距离大于或者等于所述内边缘与所述灯管组之间的距离。本发明通过增大棱镜片与灯管组之间的距离,使得灯管组发出的光到达所述棱镜片时的光强度减小,从而减少了光线在所述棱镜片边缘区域的折射和反射,有效改善了灯前漏光现象,使显示画面更加均匀和美观。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及显示技术领域,尤其涉及一种背光源,以及包括该背光源的显示装置。
背景技术
背光源用于为液晶显示器提供光源,它的发光效果直接影响到液晶显示器的视觉效果。液晶显示器所显示的图形或字符是其对背光源发出的光线进行调制的结果。图1(a)和图1(b)分别是现有背光源的主视图和剖视图,图2是图1(b)中A处的放大图。背光源主要由反射片11、导光板12、扩散片13、棱镜片14、遮光片15、胶框16、以及灯管组17组成。
目前,背光源中使用的导光板分为平面导光板和楔形导光板两种。例如,图1(a)、图1(b)和图2中所示的背光源采用的导光板12为楔形导光板。然而这两种导光板都会产生灯前漏光现象,这是由于背光源中使用的光源大部分都是点光源,如果点光源距离棱镜片较近,光线就会通过棱镜片的纹路直接折射或反射出来,在灯前产生较强的光线,导致灯前漏光现象。
例如在图2中,灯管组17为点光源,现有技术的设计中,棱镜片14与遮光片15在靠近灯管组17的位置通常有交叠的部分,使得棱镜片14与灯管组17之间的距离较近,产生灯前漏光现象。图3(a)和图3(b)是灯前漏光现象的原理示意图。
随着显示产品向轻型化、薄型化、美观化发展,背光源越来越倾向于采用楔形导光板,以满足薄型化的需求。但是楔形导光板会使背光源的灯前漏光现象更加严重,使画面效果更难处理。因此,如何解决灯前漏光现象是背光源行业一直以来亟待解决的难题和持续改善目标。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种背光源和显示装置,以改善背光源的灯前漏光现象。
为解决上述技术问题,作为本发明的第一个方面,提供一种背光源,所述背光源包括灯管组和至少一个棱镜片,所述棱镜片上靠近所述灯管组的一侧具有第一边缘,所述背光源还包括遮光片,所述遮光片上对应于所述灯管组的一侧具有用于限定所述背光源的发光区域的内边缘,所述第一边缘与所述灯管组之间的距离大于或者等于所述内边缘与所述灯管组之间的距离。
优选地,所述第一边缘与所述内边缘相接。
优选地,所述背光源还包括扩散片,所述扩散片上靠近所述灯管组的一侧具有第二边缘,所述第二边缘与所述灯管组之间的距离小于所述第一边缘与所述灯管组之间的距离。
优选地,所述灯管组设置在柔性印刷电路板上,所述背光源还包括导光板,所述柔性印刷电路板上设置有所述灯管组的一侧具有超过所述灯管组的部分,该部分与所述导光板至少部分重叠。
优选地,所述导光板为楔形导光板,所述楔形导光板包括楔形部和与所述楔形部相连的平板部,所述灯管组位于所述楔形部一侧,所述楔形部沿朝向所述平板部的方向厚度逐渐减小,所述第二边缘位于所述楔形部的一侧。
优选地,所述柔性印刷电路板上超过所述灯管组的部分与所述扩散片至少部分重叠。
优选地,所述背光源包括两个棱镜片,两个所述棱镜片的纹路互相垂直。
优选地,所述棱镜片上靠近所述灯管组的一侧具有至少一个凸出部位,所述凸出部位用于与所述遮光片相贴附。
优选地,所述棱镜片上靠近所述灯管组的一侧具有多个凸出部位,多个所述凸出部位沿所述第一边缘以预定的间隔均匀排布。
优选地,所述凸出部位的形状为矩形、正方形、三角形、梯形或者圆弧形。
作为本发明的第二个方面,还提供一种显示装置,所述显示装置包括本发明所提供的上述背光源。
本发明通过增大棱镜片与灯管组之间的距离,使得灯管组发出的光到达所述棱镜片时的光强度减小,从而减少了光线在所述棱镜片边缘区域的折射和反射,有效改善了灯前漏光现象,使显示画面更加均匀和美观。

具体实施方式
以下结合附图对本发明的具体实施方式进行详细说明。应当理解的是,此处所描述的具体实施方式仅用于说明和解释本发明,并不用于限制本发明。
本发明首先提供一种背光源,其剖面图如图4中所示。所述背光源包括灯管组17和至少一个棱镜片24,棱镜片24上靠近灯管组17的一侧具有第一边缘201,所述背光源还包括遮光片15,遮光片15上对应于灯管组17的一侧具有用于限定所述背光源的发光区域的内边缘202,第一边缘201与灯管组17之间的距离大于或者等于内边缘202与灯管组17之间的距离,以使得灯管组17发出的光在第一边缘201处的光强度小于或等于预定光强度。
这里的预定光强度是指能够使漏光现象控制在生产许可的范围内的最大光强度。所述预定光强度可以根据背光的具体结构、型号、以及性能要求来决定,只要使得棱镜片24上的第一边缘201与灯管组17之间的距离足以克服灯前漏光现象即可。
显然,第一边缘201与灯管组17之间的距离不能无限增大,为了满足最基本的显示要求,第一边缘201不能够进入待安装的显示面板的显示区域中。
与现有技术相比,本发明合理利用了背光源结构中的间隙关系,将棱镜片24上的第一边缘201与灯管组17之间的距离增大,使得灯管组17发出的光到达棱镜片24时的光强度减小,从而减少了光线在棱镜片24边缘区域的折射和反射,有效改善了灯前漏光现象,提升了显示画质,使显示画面更加均匀和美观。
优选地,第一边缘201与内边缘202相接,以最大程度地保证背光源的结构稳定性,同时可以有效减弱或消除灯管组17在棱镜片24边缘区域造成的光线积累,从而减弱灯前强光造成的漏光现象。
当第一边缘201与灯管组17之间的距离大于内边缘202与灯管组17之间的距离时,只要第一边缘201不进入待安装的显示面板的显示区域中即可。例如,图5是所述背光源组装显示面板后的剖视图,所述显示面板包括显示区域30和非显示区域31,棱镜片24上的第一边缘201和遮光片15上的内边缘202均不能进入显示区域30中。
进一步地,所述背光源还包括扩散片23,扩散片23上靠近灯管组17的一侧具有第二边缘203,第二边缘203与灯管组17之间的距离小于第一边缘201与灯管组17之间的距离。
为了进一步改善灯前漏光现象,本发明中将扩散片23增大,即使扩散片23上的第二边缘203朝向灯管组17的方向延伸,使得光线在到达棱镜片24之前更好地被扩散片23分散,以减弱到达棱镜片24处的局部光强。
通常,灯管组17设置在柔性印刷电路板28上,如图4中所示。所述背光源还包括导光板12,柔性印刷电路板28上设置有灯管组17的一侧具有超过灯管组17的部分,该部分与导光板12至少部分重叠。这种延长柔性印刷电路板28的设计能够遮挡导光板12的入光侧,使得灯前的光线被遮挡了一部分,从弱削弱了灯前的光强,有助于改善灯前漏光现象。
本发明适用于各种类型的背光源,尤其适用于导光板为楔形导光板的背光源,有利于背光源向薄型化发展。例如,图4中所示的导光板12即为楔形导光板。所述楔形导光板包括楔形部(图4中边界204之间限定的区域)和与所述楔形部相连的平板部,灯管组17位于所述楔形部一侧,所述楔形部沿朝向所述平板部的方向厚度逐渐减小。
如上文所述,通过增大扩散片23,使扩散片23上的第二边缘203朝向灯管组17的方向延伸,可以辅助改善灯前漏光现象。在本发明中,第二边缘203优选位于所述楔形部的一侧。并且,柔性印刷电路板28上超过灯管组17的部分与扩散片23至少部分重叠,如图6所示。在图6所示的实施例中,同时采用了延长柔性印刷电路板28的结构和延长扩散片23的结构,这两种方式相配合能够进一步增强对灯前漏光现象的改善效果。
通常,所述背光源包括两个棱镜片24,以提升增亮效果。并且,两个棱镜片24的纹路互相垂直,这样可以避免产生干涉条纹。通常,棱镜片24上设置有多个棱镜,棱镜片的纹路是指所述棱镜延伸的方向。例如在图3(a)和图3(b)中,两个棱镜片的纹路分别是90°和0°。
为了提升所述背光源的结构强度,棱镜片24上靠近灯管组17的一侧具有至少一个凸出部位40,如图7(a)和图7(b)中所示。所述凸出部位40用于与遮光片15相贴附。
优选地,棱镜片24上靠近灯管组17的一侧具有多个凸出部位40,多个凸出部位40沿第一边缘201以预定的间隔均匀排布。组装所述背光源时,可以在凸出部位40上设置双面胶,使遮光片15贴附在多个凸出部位40上,这样的设计能够提高背光源的结构强度,使所述背光源在信赖性测试中表现出更稳定的性能。
本发明中对凸出部位40的具体形状不做限制,凸出部位40的形状可以是矩形、正方形、三角形、梯形或者圆弧形中的任意一种,或者是上述形状中任意几种的组合。显然,凸出部位40的形状采用矩形更有利于生产加工,以及贴附双面胶。
作为本发明的另一个方面,本发明还提供了一种显示装置,所述显示装置包括本发明所提供的上述背光源,以及与所述背光源进行组装的液晶显示面板。
在本发明提供的显示装置中,通过增大棱镜片与灯管组之间的距离,使得灯管组发出的光到达所述棱镜片时的光强度减小,有效改善了灯前漏光现象,使显示画面更加均匀和美观。
此外,本发明尤其适合于改善楔形导光板的灯前漏光现象,因此本发明中所提供的显示装置优选采用楔形导光板,有利于显示装置向轻型化、薄型化、美观化发展。
可以理解的是,以上实施方式仅仅是为了说明本发明的原理而采用的示例性实施方式,然而本发明并不局限于此。对于本领域内的普通技术人员而言,在不脱离本发明的精神和实质的情况下,可以做出各种变型和改进,这些变型和改进也视为本发明的保护范围。
Claims (10)
1.一种背光源,包括灯管组和至少一个棱镜片,所述棱镜片上靠近所述灯管组的一侧具有第一边缘,所述背光源还包括遮光片,所述遮光片上对应于所述灯管组的一侧具有用于限定所述背光源的发光区域的内边缘,其特征在于,所述第一边缘与所述灯管组之间的距离大于或者等于所述内边缘与所述灯管组之间的距离。
2.根据权利要求1所述的背光源,其特征在于,所述第一边缘与所述内边缘相接。
3.根据权利要求1所述的背光源,其特征在于,所述背光源还包括扩散片,所述扩散片上靠近所述灯管组的一侧具有第二边缘,所述第二边缘与所述灯管组之间的距离小于所述第一边缘与所述灯管组之间的距离。
4.根据权利要求3所述的背光源,其特征在于,所述灯管组设置在柔性印刷电路板上,所述背光源还包括导光板,所述柔性印刷电路板上设置有所述灯管组的一侧具有超过所述灯管组的部分,该部分与所述导光板至少部分重叠。
5.根据权利要求4所述的背光源,其特征在于,所述导光板为楔形导光板,所述楔形导光板包括楔形部和与所述楔形部相连的平板部,所述灯管组位于所述楔形部一侧,所述楔形部沿朝向所述平板部的方向厚度逐渐减小,所述第二边缘位于所述楔形部的一侧。
6.根据权利要求4所述的背光源,其特征在于,所述柔性印刷电路板上超过所述灯管组的部分与所述扩散片至少部分重叠。
7.根据权利要求1至6中任意一项所述的背光源,其特征在于,所述背光源包括两个棱镜片,两个所述棱镜片的纹路互相垂直。
8.根据权利要求1至6中任意一项所述的背光源,其特征在于,所述棱镜片上靠近所述灯管组的一侧具有至少一个凸出部位,所述凸出部位用于与所述遮光片相贴附。
9.根据权利要求8所述的背光源,其特征在于,所述棱镜片上靠近所述灯管组的一侧具有多个凸出部位,多个所述凸出部位沿所述第一边缘以预定的间隔均匀排布。
10.一种显示装置,其特征在于,包括权利要求1至9中任意一项所述的背光源。
