Abstract

接地电网用型锻连接器
技术领域
本发明涉及电导体用连接器领域,尤其涉及供接地电网使用的型锻连接器。
背景技术
配电系统中的变电站需要适当设计和安装的接地系统以确保可靠的性能。接地通常由埋在土壤中的电导体的电网来实现。变电站设备借助于固定地连接至电网的电缆、杆材或棒材与接地电网连接。
电网内部的连接以及与电网的连接通常利用专用的连接器,所述连接器被压接至电网导体。用来固定连接器的压接工艺将压力集中于围绕导体周边的一个或者几个位置。这种局部的力集中会导致导电连接不良。型锻是将压力均匀分布于圆柱体周边的工艺。因此,与压接的连接器相比,适当型锻的连接器将通常提供优越的连接。
发明内容
本发明提供一组特别用于连接构成电力设施变电站中的地下接地电网的铜电缆段的型锻连接器。可移动的插入件或“盖子”容许连接器在安装前连接至现有的连续电缆上。
所述连接器包括具有至少一个型锻区域的主体构件,该型锻区域具有用于接收电导体的凹槽,所述型锻区域具有延伸凹槽的长度以容许电导体在径向方向上插入到凹槽中的开口。插入件被配置用于与所述型锻区域中的开口匹配接合,使得,当插入件与主体构件配合时,置于凹槽内的电导体被径向地包裹在连接器中。所述连接器主体和插入件在型锻区域中具有圆柱形外表面,以促使型锻连接器使其固定至电导体上。所述连接器可以被配置成互搭接头、T型物或弯头。

具体实施方式
在以下描述中,为了解释而非限制的目的,提出了具体细节以便彻底理解本发明。然而,显然,对于本领域技术人员,可以在脱离这些具体细节的其他实施方式中实施本发明。在其他情况下,省略公知的方法和装置的详细描述以便不会由于不必要的细节使本发明的描述模糊。
图1至图3示出了分解的T型接地连接器10。该连接器的目的是以90°的构型连接电缆(包铜的、铜绞合的或者实心铜)和/或接地棒(实心铜或包铜的/敷铜的)或钢筋。连接器10包括主体构件12和一对插入件或“盖子”14。主体构件和插入件优选地由高纯度的铜制造,例如电解韧铜。移除插入件,连接器主体12具有几乎半圆柱形的凹槽16,用于接收电缆17。在一个特定的实施例中,圆柱形凹槽的直径为0.594”。
插入件14被配置有互补的圆柱形的内表面18,使得组装的连接器在型锻区域24具有围绕电缆的完整圆柱形内表面。插入件14具有被接收在主体构件12中相应的插槽22中的凸缘20。这些凸缘和插槽确定了锁合面,该锁合面帮助插入件轴向插入到主体构件中,并且,防止插入件被径向移除。凸缘和插槽也可以被配置有朝向主体构件中心的轴向锥形,以阻止插入件通过插槽一直滑动,并且在型锻前,在安装期间暂时将插入件楔入插槽中。
通过先移除插入件14,然后,将电缆放入凹槽16中,连接器10被附接至电缆。然后插入件14被轴向插入到插槽22中。然后,连接器的型锻区域24被插进合适的型锻工具中,并且被均匀地径向压缩以保持电缆。在一个特定的实施例中,连接器的型锻区域为1.00”宽,并且具有1.25”的外径。型锻操作优选地使用由加利福尼亚州加迪纳市的DMC Power有限公司制造的360°径向型锻工具来执行。
出于减少连接器中材料的用量的目的,两个型锻区域24之间的主体构件的中段26未完全包围电缆。由此产生的较短长度的插入件14通过使在连接器的90°部分之间的拉伸负荷下产生的翻倒力矩最小化,而提高了连接器的强度。
由于电缆、杆材或钢筋可以被轴向地插入,底部阀门28不需要插入件。底部阀门的外径的尺寸适合于型锻工具,并且将通常具有与型锻区域24相同的外径。孔30被钻通至连接器的中心。该孔用来在安装期间验证合适的插入深度以及容许湿气在安装后排出。
图4和图5示出了支管分解的弯头/T型/十字型连接器40。该连接器以90°支管构型被设计用于连接电缆和/或接地棒或钢筋。连接器40的构造和组件与上文描述的连接器10基本上是相同的。正如连接器10,主体构件42的两个型锻区域44后面的区域已被移除,以便减少材料和使90°部分之间的翻倒力矩最小化。
图6和图7示出了分解的平行接地连接器50。两个平行的孔54和孔56容许连接器与各种几何结构的软性电缆一起使用,例如T型、支管交叉、拼接或平行连续的电缆。正如上文描述的连接器,连接器50可以与电缆、接地棒和/或钢筋一起使用。连接器主体52两侧的被切去的部分58和被切去的部分60具有双重用途。第一,它们减少了连接器中材料的量,容许在型锻期间需要更小的力进行塑性变形。第二,它们提供一个甚至在电缆和连接器界面已被完全压缩后,装配可被进一步压缩的区域。这考虑到适用范围,也就是,通过单一的孔径容纳各种电缆尺寸的能力。
与先前描述的实施方式不同,连接器50不具有单独的用于被连接的导体的型锻区域。取而代之的是,整个连接器主体,与插入件14一起,被插入合适的型锻工具中,并且被均匀地径向压缩以保持两个导体。在一个特定的实施例中,连接器50的外径为2.00”。

Claims (5)

1.一种连接器,包括:
具有第一型锻区域和第二型锻区域的主体构件,所述第一型锻区域和所述第二型锻区域具有用于接收第一电导体的相应的同轴的第一凹槽和第二凹槽,所述主体构件具有延伸相应的凹槽的长度以容许所述第一电导体在径向方向上插入到所述第一凹槽和所述第二凹槽中的第一开口和第二开口;
第一插入件和第二插入件,所述第一插入件和所述第二插入件分别被配置用于与所述开口中的相应的一个开口相匹配接合,使得,当所述插入件与所述主体构件配合时,置于所述凹槽内的所述第一电导体被径向地包裹在所述连接器的所述第一型锻区域和所述第二型锻区域中,
其中,所述第一型锻区域和所述第二型锻区域分别配置有适于利用型锻工具均匀径向压缩的外径;
所述主体构件还具有大致垂直于所述第一凹槽和所述第二凹槽定向的阀门部分,所述阀门部分具有配置成容纳第二电导体的圆柱形开口并具有限定第三型锻区域的外径。
2.根据权利要求1所述的连接器,其中,所述第一凹槽和所述第二凹槽的横剖面限定第一圆弧。
3.根据权利要求2所述的连接器,其中,每个所述插入件具有横剖面限定与所述第一圆弧互补的第二圆弧的凹槽。
4.根据权利要求1所述的连接器,其中,所述主体构件和所述插入件具有对应的锁合面,使得所述插入件可轴向地插入到所述主体构件中,并且被径向地保持在所述主体构件中。
5.一种将根据权利要求1所述的连接器附接至第一电导体和第二电导体的方法,所述方法包括:
将所述第一电导体插入到所述主体构件的所述第一凹槽和所述第二凹槽中;
将所述第二电导体插入到所述阀门部分的圆柱形开口中;
将所述第一插入件和所述第二插入件插入到相应的所述第一开口和所述第二开口中;
通过型锻工具径向向内压缩所述第一型锻区域和所述第二型锻区域;
通过所述型锻工具径向向内压缩所述第三型锻区域。
