背景技术
随着通过如互联网之类的传送机制可获得的电影和音乐内容的丰富，家长难以获知他们的孩子在观看和收听什么内容。孩子所访问的部分资料可能在本质上是性爱的或暴力的，因此家长不希望他们的孩子接触这种资料。此外，家长还可能希望限制他们的孩子无法访问能够令其接触不适合资料的网站和其它通信媒体。
一种当前解决方法涉及过滤或阻挡令人反感的内容。这些解决方法通常依赖于对关键字或网站的评级或列表。这类解决方法的问题在于过滤是静态和被动的。一旦完成设置，过滤和阻挡便基于固定的预设规则。由于所访问的内容在本质上是易变的并且可以经常改变，这些解决方案要么是过分限制，要么是限制不足。

发明内容
根据一个实施例，提供了一种用于在网关设备中进行家长监控的方法。该方法包括监控通过网关设备访问的内容。然后，获得并存储对通过网关设备访问的内容的屏幕内容的捕获。然后，根据所捕获的屏幕内容，产生通过网关设备访问的内容的日志。在一些实施例中，可以由用户使用遥控设备来导航日志。例如，可以使用回退和快进命令来导航不同时间的屏幕捕获。
利用该方法，家长能够方便地回顾孩子在不同时刻访问的内容，其中屏幕捕获准确地显示出孩子在具体时刻观看的实际内容。

在步骤310，监控通过网关设备访问的内容。由于所有其它设备(例如，家庭计算机120以及机顶盒140和150)访问作为通过网关设备110接收到的服务的一部分提供的内容，网关110也可以访问该内容。例如，可以通过网关110追踪由家庭计算机120通过该网关110发送和接收的网站和其他互联网数据。类似地，电视节目和电视流或下载内容也通过网关110提供给机顶盒140和150，因此，可以通过网关110来进行追踪。在其它实施例中，为了监控通过网关访问的内容，网关110可以使用来自服务供应商160或与该网关110进行通信的设备的信息，以便确定访问了什么内容。例如，网关110可以接收关于从服务供应商请求的互联网数据或点播电影的信息。类似地，计算机120或机顶盒140和150可以提供关于所访问网站或所观看节目的信息。该信息可以自动地或响应于来自网关设备110的请求而提供。在一些这种实施例中，服务供应商或其它设备可以具有本地运行的应用，所述应用自动地或响应于请求来发送信息。
在步骤320，捕获通过网关设备110访问的内容的屏幕内容。在一些实施例中，捕获屏幕内容可以包括网关设备110本身基于正在监控的内容，而捕获屏幕内容(步骤310)。在其它实施例中，可以通过经由网关设备访问内容的设备来捕获屏幕内容。一个示例包括家庭计算机120捕获在该家庭计算机120上观看的网站或流播放的视频的屏幕内容。另一示例包括机顶盒设备140和150捕获在该机顶盒140和150上观看的节目的屏幕内容。在访问内容的设备上对屏幕内容的捕获可以是自动的，或是响应于来自网关设备110的请求而进行。在一些实施例中，计算机120或机顶盒140和150可以具有本地运行的应用，所述应用自动地或响应于请求来捕获并发送屏幕内容。
在一些实施例中，当捕获屏幕内容时，记录捕获该屏幕内容的时间以及访问在该屏幕内容中示出的内容的设备。在一些实施例中，这可以作为捕获的屏幕内容的一部分，例如，作为时间戳或作为数据文件的一部分。
在一些实施例中，可以周期性地捕获屏幕内容。也就是说，每几分钟或其它指定时间周期，就捕获屏幕内容。在一些实施例中，捕获的频率和类型可以基于存储限制、访问的内容、访问内容的设备或其任意组合而改变。在其它实施例中，可以通过事件(例如，来自网关设备110的请求、在监控步骤(步骤310)中确定正在访问特定类型的内容、特定设备访问内容或其任意组合)来触发对屏幕内容的捕获。在另一些实施例中，在网络环境100的控制下，可以通过用户(例如，家长)设置时间周期或用来触发屏幕捕获的事件。
在获得屏幕内容的捕获之后(步骤320)，将其进行存储(步骤330)。在一些实施例中，将捕获的屏幕内容存储在网关110的存储器220中。在一些情况下，网关110可以包括家庭服务器或DVR，或作为家庭服务器或DVR的一部分，在这种情况下，网关设备110可以访问为家庭服务器备份或DVR功能提供的附加存储空间，以便存储捕获的屏幕内容。在其它实施例中，可以将捕获的屏幕内容存储在与网关110通信的其它存储设备上。例如，捕获的屏幕内容可以存储在DVR机顶盒140上。还可以将针对捕获的屏幕内容的相关时间和设备信息存储在DVR机顶盒140上。
在存储了捕获的屏幕内容(步骤330)后，可以根据所存储的捕获的屏幕内容，产生通过网关访问的内容的日志。在一些实施例中，可以自动地产生日志，且在接收到捕获的屏幕内容时更新日志。在其它实施例中，可以响应于对通过网关设备110访问的内容的日志的请求，根据所存储的捕获的屏幕内容动态产生日志。
在一些实施例中，日志可以包括与网关设备110通信的所有设备通过网关设备110访问的所有内容的所有被捕获的屏幕内容。在这种实施例中，可以向日志中的每条被捕获的屏幕内容提供附加信息，所述附加信息指示该被捕获的屏幕内容与哪个设备相关。在其它实施例中，可以针对每个设备产生日志，其中日志仅包括与该日志所针对的具体设备相关的被捕获的屏幕内容。
在一些实施例中，日志由按时间顺序排列的被捕获的屏幕内容构成，其中可以通过前移或后移时间排序的日志，来观看在不同时间通过网关设备110访问的内容的被捕获的屏幕内容。
一旦产生了日志(步骤340)，可以将其输出在显示设备上(步骤350)。例如，可以在计算机120的监控器上，或通过与网关设备110通信的机顶盒140和150在显示设备130和132上，观看所产生的日志。可以在图4中看到所显示日志400的示例。
在图4的实施例中，所显示的日志400提供以时间顺序呈现的捕获的屏幕内容410的静止图片。所显示的日志400还包括对捕获的屏幕内容410的源420(在该情况下，“计算机B”)以及日期和时间430的指示。在该实施例中，所显示的日志400还包括指示440，用于指示被捕获屏幕内容的特定静止图片位于由时间条450表示的以时间顺序呈现的被捕获屏幕内容的时间轴的何处。
在一些实施例中，用户可以通过使用与在操作DVR或DVD播放器时使用的遥控命令相似的遥控命令，来导航日志440。例如，在图4中，在屏显示460、470和480指示回退命令可以用于导航到捕获的屏幕内容的前一静止图片，快进命令可以用于导航到捕获的屏幕内容的下一静止图片，以及播放命令可以用于导航到对“计算机B”正在访问的内容的屏幕内容的实时捕获。
在一些实施例中，除了使用标准遥控命令来导航日志400之外，还可以支持增强的或所谓的“特技播放”功能，用于导航日志400。可以在图5中看到这种操作的示例。
图5是示出了应如何实现“特技播放”功能以便导航日志400的一个实施例的流程图500。当开始流程图(块510)时，确定是否按压了回退按钮(判决块520)。如果按压了回退按钮，则确定是否连续按压回退按钮(判决块522)。如果连续按压回退按钮，则在按时间顺序排列的屏幕捕获中将日志400向后导航10个静止图片屏幕捕获(块524)。如果没有连续按压回退按钮，则在按时间顺序排列的静止图片屏幕捕获中将日志400仅向后导航1个静止图片屏幕捕获(块524)。然而，如果确定没有按压回退按钮，则进行下一确定(判决块530)。
流程图500中的下一确定是是否按压了快进按钮(判决块530)。如果按压了快进按钮，则确定是否连续按压快进按钮(判决块532)。如果连续按压快进按钮，则在按时间顺序排列的屏幕捕获中将日志400向前导航10个静止图片屏幕捕获(块534)。如果没有连续按压快进按钮，则在按时间顺序排列的屏幕捕获中将日志400仅向前导航1个静止图片屏幕捕获(块524)。然而，如果确定没有按压快进按钮，则进行下一确定(判决块540)。
流程图500中的下一确定是是否按压了播放按钮(判决块540)。如果按压了播放按钮，则将日志导航到最近的静止图片屏幕捕获(块542)。然而，如果确定没有按压播放按钮，则进行下一确定(判决块550)。
流程图500中的下一确定是是否按压了暂停按钮(判决块550)。如果按压了暂停按钮，则将日志保持在当前显示的静止图片屏幕捕获(块552)。然而，如果确定没有按压暂停按钮，则该流程图的过程从头开始(判决块510)。
因此，可以实现“特技播放”回退和快进以及播放和暂停功能来导航日志400。
应注意，尽管以上关于图4和5的示例针对静止图片屏幕捕获，然而可以将类似技术用于回顾捕获的视频，其中将捕获的视频在日志中表示为根据捕获的视频所产生的缩略图。对于本领域技术人员而言，根据本公开的教导，将清楚其它可能的配置和实现方案。
应理解，根据需要，可以由用户对网关设备110中的家长监控特征(包括内容监控，捕获屏幕内容，以及产生日志)进行设置和管理。例如，可以向用户提供在屏菜单，以便配置或修改这些方面中的任何方面。
尽管上述示例关注于电子设备，然而应理解，本发明也可以实现为计算机程序产品，该计算机程序产品包括能够实现本文所述方法的所有特征，当将该计算机程序产品加载到计算机系统中时，能够实现这些方法。本文中的计算机程序或应用意味着任何表达的指令集(任意语言、代码或注释的形式)，所述指令集旨在直接地或在以下情况中的任一情况之后或二者情况之后使具有信息处理能力的系统执行具体功能：a)转换为另一语言、代码或注释之后；b)以不同资料形式进行重现。

Claims (16)

1.一种方法，包括：
监控通过网关设备访问的内容；
捕获通过网关设备访问的屏幕内容；
存储所捕获的通过网关设备访问的屏幕内容；以及
根据所捕获的屏幕内容，产生通过网关设备访问的内容的日志，以供随后显示。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法，还包括以下步骤：
向显示设备输出所产生的日志。
3.根据权利要求1所述的方法，其中存储所捕获的屏幕内容的步骤包括：将屏幕捕获存储在与所述网关设备通信的DVR上。
4.根据权利要求1所述的方法，其中能够使用遥控设备来导航所产生的通过网关设备访问的内容的日志。
5.根据权利要求4所述的方法，其中使用遥控设备进行导航包括使用回退和快进功能。
6.根据权利要求5所述的方法，其中所述导航包括特技播放回退和快进功能。
7.根据权利要求1所述的方法，其中所监控的通过网关设备访问的内容是网站，所捕获的屏幕内容是所访问的网站的屏幕内容。
8.根据权利要求1所述的方法，其中所监控的通过网关设备访问的内容是电视节目，所捕获的屏幕内容是所观看的节目的屏幕内容。
9.根据权利要求1所述的方法，其中所监控的通过网关设备访问的内容是流传输视频，所捕获的屏幕内容是所述流传输视频的屏幕内容。
10.根据权利要求1所述的方法，其中捕获屏幕内容的步骤包括：周期性获得捕获的屏幕内容。
11.根据权利要求1所述的方法，其中捕获屏幕内容的步骤包括：基于通过网关设备访问的内容，捕获屏幕内容。
12.根据权利要求1所述的方法，其中捕获屏幕内容的步骤包括：使用与网关设备通信的设备，捕获屏幕内容。
13.根据权利要求12所述的方法，其中与网关设备通信的设备从在所述设备上访问的内容捕获屏幕内容，并向网关设备提供捕获的屏幕内容。
14.根据权利要求1所述的方法，其中产生通过网关设备访问的内容的日志的步骤包括：针对通过网关设备访问内容的每个设备，产生日志。
15.一种网关设备，包括：
接收器，被配置为接收通过网关设备可访问的内容；
处理器，被配置为监控通过网关设备访问的内容，捕获通过网关设备访问的内容的屏幕内容，存储所捕获的屏幕内容，并根据所捕获的屏幕内容来产生通过网关设备访问的内容的日志；
存储器，用于存储所捕获的屏幕内容；以及
接口，用于提供对通过网关设备可获得的内容和通过网关设备访问的内容的日志的访问。
16.根据权利要求15所述的网关设备，其中所述接口还包括网络连接性。
