Abstract
本发明公开了一种新型铅酸蓄电池电池槽,由耐酸塑料注塑而成,改进之处在于电池槽平行于槽内装配的极群中极板平面的侧面内嵌入钢板,钢板全部包裹在塑料内部,厚为2~4mm。该电池槽由于嵌入钢板,在高温环境或较高内压下大大减小变形,从而使采用该电池槽的铅酸蓄电池在高温及较高内压下仍能保性能稳定。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种新型铅酸蓄电池电池槽,属于铅酸蓄电池领域。
背景技术
目前无论国际还是国内的2V、12V铅酸蓄电池电池槽主要采用ABS、PP等塑料制成。在常温下使用电池性能可以很好的发挥,但在高温下使用电池性能会迅速下降,主要原因系由于以上材料的弹性模量、强度相对较低,在高温环境以及较高内压下,电池槽产生较大变形,向外鼓起。电池槽变形鼓起后其内部的极板也随之变形,导致极板与隔板接触面积减小。由于电解液吸附在隔板上,极板与隔板接触面积减小进而引起电池反应需要的硫酸量受限,最终导致电池性能下降。随着近年来蓄电池更多的使用在高温环境中,这一问题成为国内外铅酸蓄电池厂家急需解决的问题。
发明内容
本发明的目的是提供一种能适应高温环境以及能承受较高内压的铅酸蓄电池电池槽。
本发明的技术方案是:一种新型铅酸蓄电池电池槽,由耐酸塑料注塑而成,其改进之处是该电池槽平行于槽内装配的极群中极板平面的侧面内嵌入钢板,钢板全部包裹在塑料内部。
所述钢板厚度为2~4mm。
由于钢板的弹性模量、强度远远高于ABS、PP等塑料,钢板的弹性模量在200GPa左右,而ABS、PP的弹性模量不会超过3GPa,相差65倍以上。因此塑料本体内镶有钢板的电池槽可以大大减小电池槽在高温环境以及较高内压下的变形,使电池在高温环境以及较高内压下仍能保证其性能。

具体实施方式
如图所示,铅酸蓄电池电池槽1由ABS塑料注塑而成,电池槽平行于槽内装配的极群中极板平面的两侧侧面内嵌入钢板2,钢板厚3mm,随注塑过程包裹于电池槽主体中。

1.一种新型铅酸蓄电池电池槽,由耐酸塑料注塑而成,其特征是该电池槽平行于槽内装配的极群中极板平面的侧面内嵌入钢板,钢板全部包裹在塑料内部。
2.根据权利要求1所述的新型铅酸蓄电池电池槽,其特征在于:所述钢板厚度为2~4mm。
