Abstract
本发明公开了一种光纤连接器防尘帽用聚丙烯塑料、其制备方法及应用。该聚丙烯塑料由聚丙烯、聚丙烯阻燃母粒制成,制备方法包括备料、注塑、成型,本发明的光纤连接器防尘帽用聚丙烯塑料具有防火等级高、耐老化、易于加工成型,生产成本低的特点,适用于注塑成型光纤连接器防尘帽,所制防尘帽可达到UL94V-0阻燃等级。
Description
技术领域
本发明属于塑料技术领域,尤其涉及聚丙烯塑料,具体地说是一种光纤连接器防尘帽用聚丙烯塑料、其制备方法及应用。
背景技术
光纤连接器是光纤与光纤之间进行可拆卸连接的器件,它把光纤的两个端面精密对接起来,以使发射光纤输出的光能量能最大限度地耦合到接收光纤中去,并使由于其介入光链路而对系统造成的影响减到最小,这是光纤连接器的基本要求。光纤连接器中插芯的端面经过严格的特殊处理,表面光洁度很高,因此光纤连接器的端头需要用防尘帽覆盖起来,以防止在与光纤适配器装配前落入尘埃而影响其插入损耗值。
现有技术中,防尘帽采用聚丙烯注塑成型,光纤连接器的注塑件要求阻燃等级达到UL94 V-0级(UL94 V-0评定方法为对样品进行两次10秒的燃烧测试后,余焰或余燃在30秒内熄灭,滴落的微粒不可点燃棉花。)。而由于聚丙烯属易燃材料,使得防尘帽不能达到UL94 V-0阻燃等级,存在安全隐患。
发明内容
为解决现有技术中存在的以上不足,本发明提供了一种光纤连接器防尘帽用聚丙烯塑料,用来制成光纤连接器防尘帽时可达到UL94 V-0阻燃等级,从而提高防尘帽的防火性能,进而提高光纤连接器的安全性;
本发明的另外一个目的,是提供上述光纤连接器防尘帽用聚丙烯塑料的制备方法;
本发明还有一个目的,是提供上述光纤连接器防尘帽用聚丙烯塑料的应用。
为实现上述目的,本发明所采用的技术方案如下:
一种光纤连接器防尘帽用聚丙烯塑料,以重量份数计,制成它的原料包括:
聚丙烯 89~93份;
聚丙烯阻燃母粒 7~11份。
作为对本发明的限定,该光纤连接器防尘帽用聚丙烯塑料以重量份数计,制成它的原料包括:
聚丙烯 91份;
聚丙烯阻燃母粒9份。
作为对本发明的另一种限定,所述聚丙烯的型号为PP-H-T03,聚丙烯阻燃母粒的型号为FR-PP11J。
本发明同时提供了前述光纤连接器防尘帽用聚丙烯塑料的制备方法,它包括以下步骤:
A.备料:按重量份数取聚丙烯,聚丙烯阻燃母粒,加入搅拌机中搅拌3~5min混合均匀,得混合料;
B.注塑:将混合料置于注塑机料斗中,设定注塑机温度180~230℃,注射压力为3.2~3.8MPa,打开注塑机注塑开关,防尘帽的动模具与静模具合模,料斗中的混合料在注塑机螺杆的推动下注入防尘帽模具;
C.成型:注射完成后,保压0.5~1s,冷却3~5s,成型,将成品从防尘帽模具中取出。
本发明还提供了前述光纤连接器防尘帽用聚丙烯塑料的应用,其用于注塑制备光纤连接器的防尘帽。
由于采用了上述技术方案,本发明与现有技术相比,所取得的技术进步在于:
①本发明的光纤连接器防尘帽用聚丙烯塑料组分中所添加的聚丙烯阻燃母粒具有分散性好、添加量低、易发泡、易挤出、阻燃效果好、安全、环保等特点,其与聚丙烯塑料的相容性好,具有良好加工流动性;使用阻燃母粒避免了使用阻燃剂粉料所存在的混合不匀、下料不匀的问题,并提高了聚丙烯塑料的阻燃性,使所制光纤连接器防尘帽达到UL94 V-0阻燃等级,进而提高了防尘帽的防火性能及光纤连接器的安全性能;另外,当阻燃母粒含量低于7%时阻燃效果不能达到UL94 V-0级,当阻燃母粒含量高于11%时,可以达到UL94 V-0等级,但增加了生产成本;
②本发明的制备方法简单,无需添加其他溶剂,工艺步骤少,制作成本低,节省劳动力,生产效率高,并且可减少设备腐蚀。
本发明的光纤连接器防尘帽用聚丙烯塑料适合用于制作光纤连接器的防尘帽,进一步地用于光纤连接器的防尘。
具体实施方式
实施例1-5
实施例1-5分别是一种光纤连接器防尘帽用聚丙烯塑料,每一实施例的原料如表1所示:

其中,聚丙烯的型号为PP-H-T03,其性能指标如表2所示:

聚丙烯阻燃母粒的型号为FR-PP11J,其性能指标如表3所示:

聚丙烯阻燃母粒具有分散性好、添加量低、易发泡、易挤出、阻燃效果好、安全、环保等特点,其与聚丙烯塑料的相容性好,具有良好加工流动性;使用阻燃母粒避免了使用阻燃剂粉料混合不匀、下料不匀的问题,并提高了聚丙烯塑料的阻燃性,使该光纤连接器防尘帽可达到UL94 V-0阻燃等级,进而提高了防尘帽的防火性能及光纤连接器的安全性能;另外,当阻燃母粒含量低于7%时阻燃效果不能达到UL94 V-0级,当阻燃母粒含量高于11%时,可以达到UL94 V-0等级,但增加了生产成本。
实施例6 实施例1-5目标产品的制备方法
实施例1-5的光纤连接器防尘帽用聚丙烯塑料的制备方法,分别按以下步骤顺序进行:
A.备料:按重量份数取聚丙烯,聚丙烯阻燃母粒,加入搅拌机中搅拌3~5min混合均匀,得混合料;
B.注塑:将混合料置于注塑机料斗中,设定注塑机温度180~230℃,注射压力为3.2~3.8MPa,打开注塑机注塑开关,防尘帽的动模具与静模具合模,料斗中的混合料在注塑机螺杆的推动下注入防尘帽模具;
C.成型:注射完成后,保压0.5~1s,冷却3~5s,成型,将成品从防尘帽模具中取出。
制得的光纤连接器防尘帽用聚丙烯塑料的性能如表4所示:

表4与表2比较可知,添加了阻燃母粒后的光纤连接器防尘帽用聚丙烯塑料的阻燃等级由HB提高至UL94 V-0,且强度不变,该聚丙烯塑料不仅增强了防尘帽的防火性能,提高光纤连接器的安全性,并且可保证防尘帽的强度。
实施例7 实施例1-5目标产品的应用
实施例1-5中每一种光纤连接器防尘帽用聚丙烯塑料的应用,它们都用来制作成了光纤连接器的防尘帽。
所制成的防尘帽均达到UL94 V-0阻燃等级。

1.一种光纤连接器防尘帽用聚丙烯塑料,其特征在于:以重量份数计,制成它的原料包括:
聚丙烯 89~93份;
聚丙烯阻燃母粒 7~11份。
2.根据权利要求1所述的光纤连接器防尘帽用聚丙烯塑料,其特征在于:以重量份数计,制成它的原料包括:
聚丙烯 91份;
聚丙烯阻燃母粒9份。
3.根据权利要求2所述的光纤连接器防尘帽用聚丙烯塑料,其特征在于:所述聚丙烯的型号为PP-H-T03,聚丙烯阻燃母粒的型号为FR-PP11J。
4.根据权利要求1 、2或3所述的光纤连接器防尘帽用聚丙烯塑料的一种制备方法,其特征在于它包括以下步骤:
A.备料:取聚丙烯,聚丙烯阻燃母粒,加入搅拌机中搅拌3~5min混合均匀,得混合料;
B.注塑:将混合料置于注塑机料斗中,设定注塑机温度180~230℃,注射压力为3.2~3.8MPa,打开注塑机注塑开关,防尘帽模具的动模具与静模具合模,料斗中的混合料在注塑机螺杆的推动下注入防尘帽模具;

5.根据权利要求1 、2或3所述的光纤连接器防尘帽用聚丙烯塑料的一种应用,其特征在于:用于注塑制备光纤连接器的防尘帽。
