Abstract
The invention discloses a short message delivery method. The method comprises the following steps that after receiving a short message, a short message service system forwards the received short message to a gateway connected with the SMS system and a media massage service system; the gateway converts text content in the received short message into voice media and sends a media massage carrying the voice media to a recipient user, and the media massage is received by a media server which the recipient user belongs to; the media server delivers the received media massage to equipment of the recipient user. Meanwhile, the invention discloses a short message delivery system. By the adoption of the method and the system, the short message can be effectively converted into the multimedia massage carrying voice, and therefore user experience is promoted.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications, and in particular, to a short message delivery method and system.
Background
Short Message Service (SMS) enables a user to directly transmit or receive text or numeric information through a mobile phone or other telecommunication terminal. SMS has the advantages of convenience in use, low cost, etc., and has become a service that mobile communication subscribers must select.
In recent years, with the rapid development of mobile communication and network technologies, multimedia message services in various forms, such as multimedia messages, e-mails, voice mails, etc., appear in succession, and rich and colorful communication experience is brought to mobile communication users. How to deliver the short message to the user in the form of other multimedia message also becomes a problem that people want to solve at present.
The information carried by the short message is single in form and only can carry character or digital information. Voice-like messages are preferred for some users who prefer to "listen" to the message rather than "look" at it. Especially for the visually handicapped users or the elderly with impaired vision, it is very difficult to read the text in the short message, and the voice message is more popular. Therefore, if the received short message can be converted into a multimedia message carrying voice, the text in the short message is sent to the users in a voice form, and the communication experience of the users can be improved greatly.
At present, no technical scheme for sending characters in a short message to a user in a voice mode exists.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above, the main objective of the present invention is to provide a short message delivery method and system, which can convert a short message into a multimedia message carrying voice.

The present invention will be described in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.
The short message delivery method of the present invention, as shown in fig. 1, includes the following steps:
step 101: after receiving the short message, the SMS system transmits the received short message to a gateway which is communicated with the media message service system;
here, the short message received by the SMS system is a short message from a device of a sending user.
Before performing this step, the method may further include:
configuring user configuration information of the recipient user on the SMS system. The user configuration information is used for indicating that the short message received by the user of the SMS system receiver is a voice message and a receiving implementation mode; the implementation manner may specifically be: multimedia message mode or voice mail mode, etc.
Correspondingly, the gateway is a gateway which is communicated between the SMS system and the media message service system corresponding to the user configuration information of the receiver user.

Here, it should be noted that: in practical application, the scheme of the invention can specifically forward the received Short Message to a gateway which is intercommunicated with the SMS system and the media Message Service system by a Short Message Service Center (SMSC) of the SMS system, correspondingly, the user configuration information of the receiver user is configured on the SMSC, or forward the received Short Message to the gateway which is intercommunicated with the SMS system and the media Message Service system by other equipment in the SMS system, correspondingly, the user configuration information of the receiver user is configured on other equipment.

The first embodiment is as follows:
the application scenario of this embodiment is as follows: after receiving a short message from a sender user, an SMS system inquires user configuration information of a receiver user, and finds that the receiver user requires to convert the sent short message into voice and receive the voice in a multimedia message mode, therefore, the received short message is sent to a gateway which is intercommunicated with the SMS system and the MMS system, the gateway converts text content in the short message into voice media and sends media information which is packaged into a voice media to an MMSRelay/Server, and the MMS Relay/Server delivers the received voice media to the receiver user through the multimedia message.
The short message delivery method of the embodiment, as shown in fig. 2, includes the following steps:
step 201: sending short message to SMS system by user device;
step 202: after receiving the Short Message, the SMS system determines that the Short Message sent by the receiver user is required to be converted into voice and received in a multimedia Message form by inquiring user configuration information preset by the receiver user, and then generates and sends a sender _ sm or data _ sm request instruction which accords with a Short Message Peer-to-Peer Protocol (SMPP) to a gateway which is intercommunicated with the SMS system and the MMS system;
here, the specific processing procedure of generating the delivery _ sm or data _ sm request instruction conforming to the SMPP may adopt the prior art.
And the sender _ sm or data _ sm request instruction carries the text content in the short message and the user identification of the receiver.
Step 203: after receiving the delivery _ sm or data _ sm request instruction, the gateway analyzes the received delivery _ sm or data _ sm request instruction, extracts the text content of the short message carried in the request instruction, and then executes step 204;
step 204: the gateway interacts with a media conversion server, and converts the text content in the short message into voice media by using a TTS voice synthesis function of the media conversion server;
specifically, the gateway sends the text content of the short message to the media conversion server; the media conversion server converts the text content of the received short message into voice media and sends the converted voice media to the gateway; the media conversion server has a TTS voice synthesis function.
Step 205: the gateway generates a MM4 forward.REQ request which conforms to a third generation Partnership Project (3 GPP) multimedia message protocol, and sends The generated MM4 forward.REQ request to an MMS Relay/Server to which The receiving user belongs;
here, the specific processing procedure for generating the MM4_ forward.req request conforming to the 3GPP multimedia message protocol may adopt the prior art.
The MM4_ forward.REQ request carries the voice media and the user identification of a receiving party; and the gateway sends the generated MM4_ forward.REQ request to an MMS Relay/Server to which the receiver user belongs according to the receiver user identification.
Step 206: after receiving the MM4_ forward.REQ request, the MMS Relay/Server sends a multimedia message to the equipment of the receiver user;
here, the multimedia message carries the voice media.
Step 207: and after receiving the multimedia message, the equipment of the receiver user plays the voice media in the multimedia message for the receiver user.
Example two:
the application scenario of this embodiment is as follows: after receiving a short message from a sender user, an SMS system inquires user configuration information of a receiver user, finds that the receiver user requires to convert the sent short message into voice and receive the voice in a voice mail mode, therefore, the SMS system sends the content of the short message to a gateway which is communicated with a voice mail service system, the gateway converts the text content in the short message into voice media and sends the voice mail which is packaged into the voice media to a voice mail server, and the receiver user obtains the voice mail from the voice mail server.
The short message delivery method of the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 3, includes the following steps:
step 301: sending short message to SMS system by user device;
step 302: after receiving the short message, the SMS system determines that the receiving party user requires to convert the sent short message into voice and receives the voice message in a voice mail mode by inquiring user configuration information preset by the receiving party user, and then generates and sends a delayer _ sm or data _ sm request instruction which accords with an SMPP (short message protocol) to a gateway which is communicated with the SMS system and a voice mailbox service system;
here, the specific processing procedure of generating the delivery _ sm or data _ sm request instruction conforming to the SMPP may adopt the prior art.
And the sender _ sm or data _ sm request instruction carries the text content in the short message and the user identification of the receiver.
Step 303: after receiving the delivery _ sm or data _ sm request instruction, the gateway analyzes the received delivery _ sm or data _ sm request instruction, extracts the text content of the short message carried in the request instruction, and then executes step 304;
step 304: the gateway interacts with a media conversion server, and converts the text content in the short message into voice media by using a TTS voice synthesis function of the media conversion server;
specifically, the gateway sends the text content of the short message to the media conversion server; the media conversion server converts the text content of the received short message into voice media and sends the converted voice media to the gateway; the media conversion server has a TTS voice synthesis function.
Step 305: the gateway encapsulates the voice media into a voice Mail according to Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (MIME), and then performs step 306;
here, the specific implementation of this step can adopt the prior art.
Step 306: the gateway sends the generated voice Mail to a voice mailbox server to which the receiving party user belongs through Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) signaling interaction according to the receiving party user identifier;
step 307: after the voice mail server receives the voice mail, the equipment of the receiving party user acquires the voice mail from the voice mail server through a FETCH instruction of a fourth version (IMAP4, Internet Message Access protocol 4) of an Internet Message access protocol;

after receiving the short message, a Short Message Service (SMS) system forwards the received short message to a gateway which is communicated with the SMS system and a media message service system;
the gateway converts text content in the received short message into voice media and sends a media message carrying the voice media to a receiving party user, wherein the media message is received by a media server to which the receiving party user belongs;
the media server delivers the received media message to the recipient user's device.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein before forwarding the received SMS message to a gateway of the SMS system interworking with the media message service system, the method further comprises:
configuring user configuration information of the recipient user on an SMS system;
correspondingly, the gateway is a gateway which is communicated between the SMS system and the media message service system corresponding to the user configuration information of the receiving party user.
3. The method of claim 2, wherein the media message service system corresponding to the user configuration information of the receiver user is a multimedia message service system or a voice mail service system.
4. The method according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the gateway converts the text content in the received short message into voice media, and comprises:

6. A method according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein, after the media message is received by the device of the recipient user, the method further comprises:

7. A short message delivery system, comprising: an SMS system, a gateway, a media server, and a recipient user's device; wherein,

the SMS system is also used for receiving the short message sent by the equipment of the user of the sender.
