Abstract

Description

用于检测处在人或动物胃肠道的中空器官壁之中或之上的病原体代谢产物的内窥镜胶囊
本发明涉及一种内窥镜胶囊,带有布置在其壳体一侧上的传感器,该传感器用于检测处在人或动物胃肠道的中空器官壁之中或之上的病原体的代谢产物,如其由WO 2009/127528A1所公开的那样。
为了检测病原体在人或动物的胃肠道、尤其是胃的中空器官内的存在,由WO 2009/127528 A1公开,将一种包含传感器的内窥镜胶囊带入中空器官,用该传感器借助细菌排泄的代谢产物来检测细菌。这种病原体例如是幽门螺旋杆菌(Helicobacter pylori),其可以在胃黏膜中繁殖并且造成一系列胃病。在此业已证实,全世界所有40岁以上的人中约有50%被这种细菌感染。感染在最轻微的情况下会导致胃疼,在较严重的情况下则导致胃溃疡,胃溃疡会大量出血以及造成出血而死,并且此外也被认为会致癌。
因为在上胃肠道的慢性病的情况下原则上考虑到了这种细菌性诱因,以及在感染细菌的情况下能够通过杀死相关细菌来有针对性地消除病因,所以基于大量这类病情,希望提供一种患者耐受的诊断可行方案,其成本低廉且能简单地实施,从而鉴于疾病的频繁程度,能让尽量多的患者检查是否存在细菌感染。
因此本发明所要解决的技术问题是,提供一种内窥镜胶囊,其带有布置在其壳体一侧上的传感器,该传感器用于检测处在人或动物胃肠道的中空器官壁内,尤其是处在胃壁内或胃壁上的病原体的代谢产物,用少许技术上和设备上的耗费就能使用这种内窥镜胶囊。
按本发明,该技术问题通过一种带有权利要求1特征的内窥镜胶囊解决。按照这些特征,内窥镜胶囊的比重大于在中空器官内的液体的比重,其中,内窥镜胶囊的质量重心与受该胶囊挤压的液体的体积重心相间隔或存在间距,且质量重心和体积重心确定了一条连接直线,在这条连接直线上,传感器布置在壳体的与质量重心相邻的那一侧上。
通过这些措施实现了使内窥镜胶囊在用液体,通常为水填充的中空器官中基于重力而下沉,直至到达中空器官的壁的处在内窥镜胶囊下方的区域。
因为内窥镜胶囊的质量重心和被挤压的液体的体积重心彼此间隔或存在间距,且传感器在由质量重心和体积重心确定的连接直线上布置在壳体的与质量重心相邻那一侧上,所以确保了内窥镜胶囊以壳体侧与壁接触,其中传感器位于所述壳体侧上。
通过一种以此方式构造的内窥镜胶囊,用很小的技术耗费就确保了布置在内窥镜胶囊上的传感器被定位在壁附近,以及因而处在这样一个区域中,在该区域中,可能存在的代谢产物的浓度最高。
在本发明的另一种设计方案中,内窥镜胶囊的壳体至少在传感器的区域中具有旋转对称的弯曲的形状,例如半球(Kugelkalotte)的形状或椭球形状,如旋转椭圆体的球冠,其中,质量重心和体积重心处在旋转对称轴线:使旋转对称轴线在贴靠在壁上的壳体中始终与垂直线平行地取向。换句话说:内窥镜胶囊被设计成,使其自动竖立。以此方式确保了在这种情况下处在壳体狭窄端部上的传感器基于以此方式自动竖立的构造而在内窥镜胶囊到达壁时也与中空器官的黏膜保持接触。
本发明其它有利的设计方案在从属权利要求中说明。
为进一步阐释本发明,参考在惟一一幅附图中示出的实施例,在该附图中以示意性原理图示出了在中空器官壁上末端位置中的按本发明的内窥镜胶囊。
按照附图,用液体4,例如水填充胃肠道的中空器官2,例如胃。可吞咽的内窥镜胶囊6被带入中空器官2中,内窥镜胶囊大致具有旋转椭球体的造型,以便能将其毫无困难地运输和排出。内窥镜胶囊6具有比液体4的比重更大的比重,因而该内窥镜胶囊自动向下,也就是说沿重力方向在液体4中下沉直至其到达中空器官2的壁8。
在内窥镜胶囊6的壳体10的一侧上布置着一个在图中仅示意性示出的传感器12,用该传感器能检测在中空器官2的壁8内或壁8上的细菌如幽门螺旋杆菌的代谢产物。内窥镜胶囊6的质量重心14以及受内窥镜胶囊6挤压的液体4的体积重心16布置成彼此相隔的间距a。质量重心14和体积重心16确定了一条连接直线18,传感器12布置在壳体10的与质量重心14相邻的一侧上,因此内窥镜胶囊6用这一侧向前下沉并且到达壁8。
在所示实施例中,连接直线18与例如具有旋转椭球体构造的壳体10的旋转对称轴线重合。
在此,在一种有利的设计方案中,这样来测量内窥镜胶囊6的重量以及在质量重心14和体积重心16之间的间距a,使内窥镜胶囊6始终自动竖立且连接直线18或旋转对称轴线始终朝着重力方向,也就是说平行于垂直(线)的方向取向。以此方式确保传感器12始终布置在中空器官2的壁8附近。
内窥镜胶囊6包括发射器20,发射器将由传感器12检测到的测量数据转递给外部接收器22,外部接收器例如固定在患者的腰带上。
供能装置24,例如内部蓄能器,如电池,或能从外部充电的蓄能器,用于给发射器20供能。
测量开始,也就是说传感器12的激活,通过一个外部信号,例如借助无线电信号、借助外部磁铁或通过机械的震动实现。
为了在需要时实现长时间测量,有必要将内窥镜胶囊6至少在一个较长的时间段内通过保持装置固定在已达到的末端位置或静止位置中,因为否则内窥镜胶囊会由于自然蠕动而在短暂停留后与液体4一起被排出。为此,可以在内窥镜胶囊6中设置一个永久磁铁26,从而内窥镜胶囊6借助外部的磁铁装置28保持在静止位置中。
作为备选还可行的是,内窥镜胶囊6具有一个能移出的、能在中空器官2中张紧的(verspannbar)或能在壁中锚固的保持器30作为保持装置,保持器在图中仅粗略地示意性示出。这种保持器30可以用这样一种材料制成:该材料在预定的停留时间后在中空器官2中自动分解,从而内窥镜胶囊6被释放以及可以被排出。

Claims (8)

1.内窥镜胶囊(6),其带有布置在其壳体(10)一侧上的传感器(12),该传感器用于检测处在人或动物胃肠道的中空器官(2)壁之中或之上的、尤其是处在胃壁中的病原体的代谢产物,该内窥镜胶囊的比重大于处在中空器官(2)中的液体(4)的比重,并且该内窥镜胶囊的质量重心(14)和被挤压的液体(4)的体积重心(16)存在间距,其中,质量重心(14)和体积重心(16)确定了一条连接直线(18),传感器(10)在这条连接直线上布置在壳体(10)的与质量重心(14)相邻的一侧上。
2.按权利要求1所述的内窥镜胶囊,其壳体(10)至少在所述传感器(12)的区域中具有旋转对称的弯曲的形状,以及在这种内窥镜胶囊中,质量重心(14)和体积重心(16)处在旋转对称轴线上,其中,这样测量该内窥镜胶囊的重量以及在质量重心(14)和体积重心(16)之间的间距(a):使旋转对称轴线在贴靠在壁(8)上的壳体(10)中始终与垂直线平行地取向。

7.按权利要求6所述的内窥镜胶囊,其中,设置永久磁铁(26)作为保持装置。
8.按权利要求6所述的内窥镜胶囊,其中,设置能移出的、能在中空器官(2)中锚固或张紧的保持器(30)作为保持装置。
