也可经网络接口326经互联网322接收包括TDO、数据和触发器的A/V内容。另外,能够为非实时(NRT)或互联网传送的存储内容(诸如,互联网协议电视(IPTV))提供存储装置330。以与其它内容源的方式相似的方式通过在306解复用能够播放存储的内容。接收器通常在一个或多个处理器(诸如,CPU 338)的控制下工作,CPU 338与工作存储器340和程序存储器342互连并且经一个或多个总线(诸如,350)与图形子系统344互连。
CPU 338接收来自解复用器306的隐藏式字幕数据以及用于呈现图形内容的任何其它信息(诸如,TDO通知和电子节目指南),并把该信息传送到图形子系统344,并且在合成器和视频接口360合成图像以产生适合在视频显示器上显示的输出。
CPU 338用于执行在本文公开的主题的情况下的各种处理,包括触发脚本和诸如调用由TDO或触发指定的URL的操作。CPU 338还用于执行TDO和/或它的触发中所包含的任何脚本对象(控制对象)。
CPU 338还用于监视包括调谐器/解调器302和其它电视资源的数字电视接收器的控制。未显示与这种系统的连接以避免使附图变得杂乱,但在考虑以上教导时本领域技术人员将会理解这一点。因此,当CPU 338执行根据本文的教导的PVR命令时,CPU 338能够发出API调用,该API调用启动PVR功能,诸如如TDO的PVR命令执行脚本所示存储电视节目或一个项目的NRT内容。
在图4中的更加处理器中心示图中描述处理TDO时的操作。为了方便,存储器和存储装置330、340和342在图4中被总地描述为600。类似地,最初处理数字电视信号的各种解调器、解码器等被总地描述为604。图4的电视接收器装置还被描述为具有遥控器610,遥控器610与遥控器接口616通信。另外,为了完整,明确地描述了显示器620,并且显示器620可代表电视机中的一体的显示器或者连接的显示装置。
存储器600包含各种功能程序模块和数据。当接收到TDO对象时,TDO 634连同超链接或其它触发控制对象一起被存储在存储器600,当所述超链接或其它触发控制对象被激活时,所述超链接或其它触发控制对象将会引起当在CPU 338上触发并执行所述超链接或其它触发控制对象时的PVR相关动作的执行。在TDO处理程序638实现这种TDO存储和执行,TDO处理程序638可集成到交互管理器650。当执行TDO时,TDO可把通常在TDO内定义的通知提供给观看者,这允许观看者如前所述通过选择控制对象(例如,通过使用 遥控器610)而执行PVR命令。在某些实现方式中,当开始PVR命令时,本地存储装置660用于以类似于常规PVR操作的方式存储或取回内容。

Claims (15)
1.一种执行个人录像机功能的方法,包括:
在数字电视接收器装置处接收触发声明对象TDO,TDO包括脚本控制对象,当由用户激活脚本控制对象时,脚本控制对象对识别的项目的节目内容执行个人录像机PVR功能;
与TDO分离地接收与TDO相关联并且与TDO分离的触发对象;
响应于与TDO分离的所述触发对象自动调用TDO;
生成用于在显示器上呈现脚本控制对象的信号;
接收指示用户激活脚本控制对象的信号;以及
响应于对所述信号的接收,执行PVR功能,其中PVR功能包括与所识别的项目的节目内容相关的取回和存储功能。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述脚本控制对象的激活导致记录电视节目。
3.如权利要求2所述的方法,其中所述TDO中的元数据定义能够接收电视节目的目标频道。
4.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述脚本控制对象的激活导致在TDO中指定的一个项目的非实时NRT节目内容的取回和存储。
5.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述脚本控制对象的激活导致指示的项目的存储的节目内容的取回和该项目的内容的呈现。
6.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述TDO包含具有应用程序接口API调用的脚本,该应用程序接口API调用通过提供频道标识符、日期和时间以及持续时间而使电视接收器设置节目的PVR记录。

8.一种执行个人录像机功能的设备,包括:
在数字电视接收器装置处接收触发声明对象TDO的装置,所述TDO包括脚本控制对象,当由用户激活脚本控制对象时,脚本控制对象执行个人录像机PVR功能;
与TDO分离地接收与TDO相关联并且与TDO分离的触发对象的装置;
响应于与TDO分离的所述触发对象自动调用TDO的装置;
生成用于在显示器上呈现脚本控制对象的信号的装置;
接收指示用户激活脚本控制对象的信号的装置;以及
响应于对所述信号的接收执行PVR功能的装置,其中PVR功能包括与所识别的项目的节目内容相关的取回和存储功能。
9.一种数字电视接收器,包括:
处理器;
数字电视接收器装置,适合于分离地接收:
触发声明对象TDO,TDO包括脚本控制对象,当由用户激活该脚本控制对象时,该脚本控制对象执行个人录像机PVR功能;和
与TDO相关联并且与TDO分离的触发对象;
其中处理器被编程为:
响应于与TDO分离的所述触发对象自动调用TDO;
生成用于在显示器上呈现脚本控制对象的信号;
接收指示用户激活脚本控制对象的信号;以及
响应于对所述信号的接收,执行PVR功能,其中PVR功能包括与所识别的项目的节目内容相关的取回和存储功能。
10.如权利要求9所述的数字电视接收器,其中所述脚本控制对象的激活导致记录电视节目。
11.如权利要求9所述的数字电视接收器,其中所述TDO中的元数据定义能够找到电视节目的目标频道。
12.如权利要求9所述的数字电视接收器,其中所述脚本控制对象的激活导致在TDO中指定的一个项目的非实时NRT节目内容的取回和存储。
13.如权利要求9所述的数字电视接收器,其中所述脚本控制对象的激活导致指示的项目的内容的取回和该项目的内容的呈现。
14.如权利要求9所述的数字电视接收器,其中所述TDO包含具有应用程序接口API调用的脚本,该应用程序接口API调用通过提供频道标识符、日期和时间以及持续时间而使电视接收器设置节目的PVR记录。
