一般地,将通过以下将称为“检测部件”的结构从个人识别和获得生理信号。这个部件例如可以包括电极(极性、双极)、压力传感器、具有电极的针、加速度计、光探测器、麦克风、离子敏感场效应晶体管(ISFET)、NTC(负温度系数)电阻器、带隙探测器、离子隔膜、酶反应器或冷凝器等。特别地,监测装置可以包括用于生理信号的非侵入性捕获的部件,例如,电极或光学识别装置。然而,该部件也可以用于生理信号的侵入捕获,例如为用于获得流体样品的针的形式,或包括用于皮下捕捉电生理信号的电极的针的形式。
除了用于捕获生理信号的部件,或作为用于捕获生理信号的部件的替代,数据收集器可以包括执行机构,即将能量从一种形式(通常为电能)转换到可以作用于个人的身体的另一种身体可感觉形式的元件。这种执行机构部件的示例是电极(例如,用于神经或神经刺激)、泵、注射针、发光二极管(LED)或其他电磁辐射发射器、压力波发生器(如扬声器)、电流发生器或化学合成器。因此,数据收集器可以被设计用于信号到个人或者来自个人的双向通信。
数据收集器可以被设计用于特定目的,例如,用于从肌肉等收集电信号。根据具体的使用目的,数据收集器可以具有匹配在目标的身体上的具体位置的形状。此外,可选地包括在数据收集器中的检测元件和电源可以被设计用于有问题的特定信号。
为确保与处理器一起正确操作,数据收集器可以包括识别装置,识别装置识别朝向处理器的数据收集器的类型。以这种方式,处理器可以自动地适应被监测信号的类型,适应适合最佳功耗的电源方案,适应有问题的特定生理信号等。

数据收集器也可以包括识别装置,该识别装置识别旨在接收被监测数据的接受者,如医生等的电子邮件地址或网页地址。
数据收集器可以包括识别装置,该识别装置识别用于加密数据的特定加密。当处理器读取识别时,其可以变得能够加密数据,从而只有具有可用的相应识别或加密方案那些人能够从处理器推导有用信息。这个功能可以大大提高监测装置的安全性,并且其可以有效地防止未经授权的人获得个人的敏感信息。该功能还可以确保用户只返回授权医生以进行数据分析或评估。
作为示例,医院可以为用户提供用于特定目的的数据收集器。用户可以结合接收数据收集器使用标准处理器,并且在使用以后,数据只能由最初分发数据收集器的医院进行评估,因为只有他们拥有匹配的加密/解密能力。
数据收集器可以包括识别数据收集器的预期寿命的识别装置。这个特征可以有效地防止使用其中电池或其他部件已经太旧而不能正常地起作用的数据收集器。
数据收集器可以包括数据存储器,例如e-prom或用于电子数据存储的类似装置。可以通过处理器特定地访问数据存储装置,从而监测数据可以写在数据收集器的数据存储装置上。以这种方式,用户可以例如通过传统邮件将数据收集器返回到能够分析被监测的信号或产生的数据的医生。

下表面或基底可以包括凝胶,例如具有粘合性能的水凝胶。水凝胶可以导电或可以不导电。具有不同性质的不同形式或配方的水凝胶可以用在同一系统或装置中。

适配器可以在向上的方向上从上表面突出。形成在适配器上的锚定结构可以与在处理器上的夹紧结构配合,用于处理器到数据收集器的可拆卸连接。
在一个实施例中,基底形成有朝向目标的导电层,并且适配器包括在非导电材料的主体中的导电路径的形式的传输结构,例如,由非导电材料的主体承载的引脚或电线。在此,非导电性应被理解为“具有比导电路径低的导电性”。以这样的方式,所述路径形成适于传输电信号的传输结构。与处理器的电连接也可以通过使用导电刷等获得,或者通过使用斑马型弹性体连接器(像可以在Z-axis Connector公司购买的那些,参见http://www.zaxisconnector.com或来自Fujipoly,参见http://www.fuipoly.com)获得。在斑马线互连中,金线位于硅橡胶的表面处,并且确保良好的电接触,同时还提供用于数据收集器和处理器的卡扣锁定装配的平衡力。
为了增加监测装置的灵活性,变送器可以包括单独地悬浮在主体中的多个导电引脚,例如,从而引脚在主体中相对彼此能够移动。该主体例如可以由电绝缘材料制成,例如,使得主体屏蔽噪声,并且从而防止电气干扰等。
可以例如通过使用封装在薄贴片中的液体和导电凝胶提供通过基底的电导率。以这种方式,基底将容易地适于目标的主体形状,并且通过基底的电导率不受到基底的弯曲或伸展的影响。
在可替换的实施例中,或与从所述下表面到处理器的所述电路径结合,数据收集器可以形成用于将光信号从目标传输到处理器的传输结构。这样的结构可以包括光纤或仅仅是用于从所述下表面到处理器的光或类似的电磁辐射的通道。这可以进一步地包括用于将光信号转换成电信号的CCD处理器或类似的电子装置。
一般地,传输结构可以组合不同的信号,例如作为单独的信号,或者不同的信号可以被转换成如传输到处理器的光学或电气信号。
可以有利地在数据收集器中包括用于处理器和监测装置的其他电力消耗者的电源。以这种方式,电源可以被优化到特定目的和用于特定生理信号。电源可以是传统电池。
为了确保数据收集器中的电池和处理器之间的良好连接,可以在远离所述下表面的向上方向上挤压电池。当处理器被连接到数据收集器时,电池可以因此压靠着处理器的下表面。
为了挤压电池靠着处理器,电池可以容纳在在包括弹簧弹力装置的主体中,弹簧弹力装置提供靠着电池的下表面的弹簧弹力,并且因而朝向处理器抬升电池。该主体可以例如形成具有向上弯曲底部的杯子的形状,向上弯曲底部能够向下弹性变形,并且在向下变形时,向上弯曲底部试图在向上方向返回。因此,该主体形成用于电池的支座,并且支座可以包括用于将电池固定在合适的位置附加部件,用于在电池的两极和处理器等上的相应极之间提供传导性。
夹紧结构可以适于在从处理器拆下数据收集器时破坏锚定结构。以这种方式,确保数据收集器没有被多次重复使用,并且从而可以更好地确保数据收集质量。
锚定结构和电池就位在其中的主体可以被制成一个部件,并且这个相同部件也可以保持导电插头,或以其他方式形成所提到的传输结构。为此目的,这个单个部件可以包括屏蔽部件,在屏蔽部件包括导电路径等的情况中,屏蔽部件防止无线电干扰等,并且从而减少或避免在传输结构中电流的感生。

监测装置可以包括用于修改数据信号的滤波装置。这种修改可以包括放大、降噪、数据比较或任何类似形式的数据分析。滤波装置可以包括在数据收集器中、在数据处理器中,或者在两者中。特别地,滤波装置可以形成换能器的一部分。
可替换地,数据信号可以代表被转换的生理信号,用于从个人的皮肤到电子电路的电气或光学传输。这可以是,例如,如果生理信号是皮肤的温度、皮肤颜色、反射率等的情况。在这种情况中,颜色、温度等通常地转换成能够通过电子电路接收的电或光信号。生理信号到数据信号的转换,或数据信号到处理器更加友好信号的任何后来转换,通过换能器执行。在图示的实施例中,换能器形成电子电路的一部分,或者其形成在电子电路中执行的软件的一部分。
电路可以包括一个或多个专用集成电路(ASIC)、电气系统或子系统,例如但不限于,印刷电路板(PCB)、柔性印刷电路板(FPCB)、厚膜、薄膜或陶瓷技术或系统或其组成部分可以被单独地封装。
为了如与外部计算机系统、与报警中心或类似的监视或监测系统通信被处理的数据信号,,该监测装置可以包括众所周知的无线通信能力。这可以包括射频识别(RFID)标签,其在商业上可获得不同尺寸、范围和功能。当RFID读写器应用合适区域(如感应区域)时,基本RFID标签返回位序。位序在使用之前被编程。RFID范围对于无源标签(不包括电源)从1厘米变化到指定2米,对于有源标签(包括电源)变化到超过100米。可用的更复杂的RFID标签具有可以读取或存储数据的存储部件。

在一个实施例中,识别标签嵌入在粘合剂箔片8中。
该监测装置和其他装置之间的通信可以在例如形成电子电路的一部分的FFD装置中协调。FFD装置可以以任何拓扑起作用,并且可以是网络的协调器,或者其可以是能够与任何其他装置通话的协调器。RFD装置限于星型拓扑结构,其不能成为网络协调器,其仅通话到网络协调器,并且具有非常简单的实施方案。FFD可以是专用网络协调器,用作在身体局域网(BAN)内的通讯集线器、网关或路由器,并且处理与外部单位的通信。通信集线器或网关可以具有大的存储能力,并且存储来自传感器网络的数据,并且在与外部单位靠近时或在合适时无线地传输这些数据。
特别地,为了监测个人行为,或为了在身体活动和其他生理信号之间形成结合,该监测装置可以包括例如嵌入在电子电路中的GPS元件。该系统可以例如记录与监测装置连接到其上的个人或行动不便的人的位置、速度或加速度相关的数据。
电子电路可以形成网关,该网关包括存储和通讯部件、CPU和封装在塑料中的电池,并且作为用于数据到中央单元(CU)的传输的专用网络协调器工作。
形成处理器的一部分的电子电路可以被定位和保护在管盖中,例如,例如由单个金属片或由塑料制成为单件的管盖。
管盖可以形成有开口,该开口具有使得它能够接收适配器的至少一部分的尺寸和形状。为了防止灰尘和水分等的入侵,适配器和开口可以具有形状,所述形状匹配得如此好使得在两部分被组装时在处理器和数据收集器之间形成最多1毫米的间隙,并且优选地小于0.5毫米的间隙。
为了确保紧装配,适配器可以形成平面凸缘和向上突出的塔状体,并且处理器可以相应地形成圆周地围绕所述开口延伸的平面凸缘。此外,可以选择尺寸以使处理器的凸缘和数据收集器的凸缘可以接触对方,或者至少变得如此接近,使得当该塔状体插在所述开口中并且夹紧结构和锚定结构接合时,凸缘之间存在最多1毫米或最多0.5毫米的间距。
所述开口和塔状体有利地可以是圆形的,使得处理器可以围绕塔状体转动,并且在处理器和数据收集器之间形成独立于一部分相对其他部分的旋转方位的电连接,传输结构的连接器形成部分可以围绕圆形开口和塔状体的中心对称地布置。
该换能器可以如前所述形成处理器和/或数据收集器的一部分。此外,该换能器可以形成单独的部件,该单独的部件能够连接到处理器和数据收集器或者两者,或者可以在这两个部件装配之前插入处理器和数据收集器之间。
换能器被设计为将能量从一种形式转换成到另一种形式。换能器典型地,但不一定是,微电子传感系统的传感器或传感部分。换能器可以因此能够转换例如物理输入,并且换能器通常但不一定是将这个能量转换成由CPU等进行解释的电的形式。
换能器可以转换的物理输入的示例是加速度、化学属性/气体、流量、湿度、惯性、电容、电导、电导率、电流、阻抗、电感、pH值、电阻、电压、照片检测、光、磁、压力、角度、线性位置、速度、温度、声音和机械力。
在一个实施例中,换能器只是由传输结构结合与个人的皮肤接触的电极或结合导电粘合剂简单地构成。
处理器和/或数据收集器可以包括处理装置和相应的程序代码,该程序代码使得该监测装置适合各种监测任务。
如关于处理器和数据收集器所提到,信号和/或监测数据可以被加密。为此目的,该软件可以包括用于执行这种加密的程序。
在第二方面中,本发明提供了一种基于使用已经描述的装置基于目标接收的生理信号监测数据的方法。

具体实施方式
图1说明具有数据收集器2和处理器3的监测装置1。数据收集器2具有下表面4,下表面4设置有身体兼容粘合剂,例如,用于将所述下表面粘合到一个人的皮肤的基于水凝胶的粘合剂。该下表面是导电的,从而可以通过该下表面接收生理信号。生理信号例如可以是来自肌肉的电信号、由光传感器等接收的彩色信号或类似光信号。
数据收集器包括基底,该基底形成有下表面4和相对的上表面5。数据收集器进一步包括适配器6,适配器6在由箭头7表示的向上方向上从所述上表面突出。适配器形成有锚定结构,锚定结构与在处理器上的夹紧结构协作,从而使得数据收集器能够拆卸地连接到处理器。锚定结构和夹紧结构在图5中显示。

第二粘合层可以设置在箔片的相反的远端侧上。第二粘合层的目的是将主体元件10稳固地固定到箔片8。因此,第二粘合剂层可以提供比第一粘合层更强大的粘合。
盖箔13围绕主体元件10连接到第二粘合层,以提供光滑和吸引人的外观,并且有选择地提供监测装置的关于抗弯刚度、耐久性或刚性的具体特征,。因此,盖箔13可以具有不同于箔片的有关刚度、耐久性和/或刚性的特征。
主体元件10可以由非导电材料形成单件,如由塑料材料形成,或者由磁屏蔽材料形成,磁屏蔽材料例如为具有嵌入金属纤维的塑料材质。主体元件10的抗弯刚度、硬度和/或不弹性变形的能力可以优于箔片8和盖箔13。
主体元件10容纳电池12,电池12传输电力到处理器但是形成数据收集器的一部分,以便可以为每个新的数据收集器设置新的电池。因此,该电池例如可能是不适合充电的类型。存在许多电池尺寸和电池外壳,包括标准圆柱电池、多单元电池、钮扣电池、袋状电池和薄膜电池。取决于电池容量和监测装置的设计的需要,这些电池中的任一种都可以变成适于监测装置。
主体元件形成可以被容纳在处理器中的开口中的塔状体。主体元件进一步形成将处理器的夹紧结构夹紧的锚定结构,参见图5和6。
数据收集器包括传输结构,该情况中传输结构由多个单独的变送器9构成,变送器9可以将数据信号从所述下表面传输到处理器。变送器9圆周地围绕主体元件10并且因此围绕电池12布置。主体元件10由非导电材料形成,并且因此有效地将变送器相互隔离。主体元件10进一步可以由屏蔽结构模制而成,屏蔽结构减少电噪声在变送器9中的感生。
图示的6个变送器中的每一个都单独地和可移动地悬浮在主体元件10中,因而主体元件10将一变送器与其他变送器和电池12电隔离。
处理器包括固定环14、电子电路15和管盖16。
处理器主要处理接收到的数据信号,并且为了这样做,其消耗从电源获得的电功率。
进一步的,处理器可以适于存储接收的数据信号直到其被处理的时间,以存储数据信号的处理的结果,并且存储用于接收的数据信号的转换所必需的软件。为此,存储部件可以形成电子电路的用于嵌入式系统软件的存储和/或在监测装置的操作过程中获得的数据的存储的部分。存储部件可以是CPU的一部分、其本身的组成部件或可以被拆除和交换的诸如FLASH RAM之类的可交换存储装置的部件。
图3图示在图2中说明的装置的侧视图。在这个视图中,清楚地,管盖16,并且因此该处理器14、15和16,形成围绕所述开口圆周地延伸的平面凸缘17。管盖由金属坯料形成单件。
图4说明从下面看到的管盖16、电子电路15和包括变送器9的主体元件10。在这个视图中,清晰地可见,管盖16中的开口是圆形的。连接结构和传输结构适于独立于处理器相对于数据收集器的旋转方向将数据信号从数据收集器传输到处理器。这个特征由6个变送器9与7个导电区域18协作提供,这7个导电区域18构成连接结构,并且每个导电区域都具有在每个变送器和单独的每一个区域18之间提供接触的长度,而不考虑连接结构和传输结构的相互方位。
图5和6图示处理器的夹紧结构的横截面,夹紧结构适合在从处理器拆开数据收集器时破坏数据收集器的锚定结构。此功能将保证数据收集器的一次性使用,从而提高监测装置的可靠性。
图7说明被制成带有3D MID的传输结构,3D MID允许机械和电气功能在模制零件中的集成。在第一注塑周期中,模制材料被喷射在箔片8上以将主体元件10直接地形成在箔片上。在这个阶段中,主体元件被模制有多个通道,所述多个通道在第二注塑周期中由导电聚合物填充。在第二注塑周期中,导电聚合物注入所述通道,并且在一些位置上喷射在箔片8上,在这些位置上,具有通过箔片向下接触进入与目标的皮肤接触的导电胶和/或导电粘合剂。

包括发光二极管(LED)和光电二极管的电光元件的光学传感器的布局和几何结构参见图3。LED和光电二极管之间的几何形状和间距是必要的,因为这影响测量的照相光电血管容积图(photoplethysmograms)(PPGs)的质量。优选地,LED和光电二极管之间的间距应该在4毫米至7毫米之间的范围中。

放大器
如果使用一般的跨阻抗放大器,其应该具有以下规格:
-带宽应符合120赫兹正弦振荡背景光、红色PPG和红外PPG的同时测量,例如,如果应在背景光的1%变化的最大值内采样信号(该背景光是关于该最大值而被归一化的),则应在26μs内采样它们。如果采样频率高于240赫兹(Nyquist标准),则有可能具有较短带宽。然后对背景光信号进行插值。带宽应进一步符合光电二极管和放大器电路所需的上升时间。上升时间表示LED的多余功耗。例如,MSP430的采样时间为4μs。如果LED的由于上升时间引起的多余功耗是1%,则上升时间应该是40ns,相当于放大器的8.75MHz的带宽。CC2430具有160μs的采样频率,采用相同的要求给出218kHz的带宽。
运算放大器应具有低噪声。特别地,闪烁噪声要低,因为闪烁噪声很可能是处于与PPG信号相同的频段中。
-增益/噪声比应尽可能高并且可能比109更高。
可替换地,可以使用开关式集成跨阻抗放大器以通过在时间窗口范围内集成信号而减少噪声。
Claims (35)
1.一种适于连接到目标的表面的监测装置,该监测装置包括数据收集器和处理器,所述数据收集器具有下表面,所述下表面适合粘合接触目标的皮肤表面并且适合从皮肤表面接收生理信号,所述数据收集器包括用于传输代表生理信号的监测信号到处理器的传输结构,并且处理器能够拆卸地连接到数据收集器的上表面和包括连接结构,连接结构在连接时连接到传输结构用于从数据收集器接收监测信号,其中所述处理器包括用于处理监测信号以提供涉及目标的生理状态的监测数据的电子电路,其中数据收集器和处理器中的至少一个包括换能器,换能器能够将生理信号转换成能够被电处理的数据信号。
2.根据权利要求1所述的监测装置,其中连接结构和传输结构适合传输电信号。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的监测装置,其中的连接结构和传输结构适合传输光信号。
4.根据上述任何一项权利要求所述的监测装置,其中数据收集器包括用于处理器的电源。
5.根据上述任何一项权利要求所述的监测装置,其中所述下表面包括将所述下表面粘合地固定到所述皮肤表面的预涂敷粘合剂。
6.根据上述任何一项权利要求所述的监测装置,其中所述下表面是导电的。
7.根据上述任何一项权利要求所述的监测装置,其中数据收集器包括形成有所述下表面和相对的上表面的基底,数据收集器还包括适配器,适配器从所述上表面在向上方向上突出并且形成锚定结构,锚定结构与处理器上的夹紧结构协作,用于能够拆卸地连接处理器到数据收集器。
8.根据权利要求7所述的监测装置,其中夹紧结构适合在从处理器上拆下数据收集器时破坏锚定结构。
9.根据权利要求7所述的监测装置,其中基底和适配器具有不同形状。
10.根据权利要求7所述的监测装置,其中基底能够比适配器更弹性地变形。
11.根据权利要求7所述的监测装置,其中传输结构包括用于通过适配器将单独的数据信号从基底传输到处理器的至少两个独立的变送器。
12.根据权利要求11所述的监测装置,其中变送器单独地和可移动地悬浮在电绝缘材料体中。
13.根据权利要求12所述的监测装置,其中电绝缘材料体形成用于电池的支座。
14.根据权利要求12或13所述的监测装置,其中变送器沿着围绕电池圆周地延伸的线布置。
15.根据权利要求13所述的监测装置,其中支座包括围绕电池圆周地延伸的导电套管。
16.根据上述任何一项权利要求所述的监测装置,其中电子电路位于管盖中,管盖形成有能够接收适配器的至少一部分的开口。
17.根据权利要求16所述的监测装置,其中处理器形成围绕所述开口圆周地延伸的平面凸缘。
18.根据权利要求16所述的监测装置,其中管盖被制成为单件。
19.根据权利要求18所述的监测装置,其中管盖由片材坯料制成。
20.根据权利要求16所述的监测装置,其中所述开口是圆形的。
21.根据上述任何一项权利要求所述的监测装置,其中连接结构和传输结构适合独立于处理器相对于数据收集器的旋转方位将数据信号从数据收集器传输到处理器。
22.根据上述任何一项权利要求所述的监测装置,适合加密监测数据。
23.根据权利要求22所述的监测装置,其中基于形成数据收集器的一部分的加密识别器加密监测数据。
24.根据上述任何一项权利要求所述的监测装置,包括识别标签。
25.根据权利要求24所述的监测装置,其中识别标签形成数据收集器的一部分,并且识别下述项目中的至少一个:标签的用户、将被监测的生理信号的特征、监测装置在用户的身体上的目标位置、与确定数据收集器的预期寿命相关的日期、在数据收集器中使用以检测有问题正讨论的生理信号的检测元件的类型。
26.根据上述任何一项权利要求所述的监测装置,还包括用于修改数据信号的滤波装置。
27.根据权利要求26所述的监测装置,其中修改包括从由放大、噪声降低、数据比较和数据分析组成的组中选择的过程。
28.根据上述任何一项权利要求所述的监测装置,还包括执行器,执行器将能量从一种形式转换成能够由个人采用所述监测装置检测到的另一种形式。
29.根据权利要求28所述的监测装置,其中执行器被包括在数据收集器中。
30.根据权利要求29所述的监测装置,其中数据收集器适合使用该监测装置将信号通信到个人和从个人接收信号的双向通信。
31.根据上述任何一项权利要求所述的监测装置,其中所述下表面包括粘合剂,所述粘合剂形成用于从个人到检测部件的生理信号的不间断传输通道。
32.根据上述任何一项权利要求所述的监测装置,其中所述下表面包括具有在1.01-1.45范围内的折射率的粘合剂。
33.根据上述任何一项权利要求所述的监测装置,其中所述下表面包括粘合剂,该粘合剂具有体积电阻率在500欧姆厘米-1500欧姆厘米范围内的电导率。
34.一种基于从目标接收的生理信号监测数据的方法,该方法包括连接能够检测生理信号的数据收集器到目标的表面,并且使用连接到数据收集器的单独的处理器处理检测到的信号并且提供与目标的生理状态相关的监测数据,其中数据收集器和处理器中的至少一个包括换能器,换能器能够将生理信号转换成能够被电处理的数据信号。
35.根据权利要求34所述的方法,其中目标或数据收集器由处理器使用形成数据收集器的一部分的识别标签识别。
