Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of wireless communications, and in particular, to a dial-up connection method, system and mobile terminal.
Background
The IPv4 address resource of the global Internet is gradually exhausted, and finally, the global Internet is in an unavailable state. The IPv6 protocol has large address space and address structure, is convenient to realize address aggregation, supports automatic address configuration and host movement, and has better safety and service quality than the IPv4 address protocol. The IPv6 has been already determined to be The development direction of network bearers and service applications, whether The Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) of The 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3 GPP) or The CDMA2000 System of 3GPP 2. Especially in the IP Multimedia System (IMS) phase of 3G, the network system will be fully IPv6 based or compatible. IPv6 has become a common basic protocol for the internet and mobile communication networks. The mobile IPv6 enables the Internet and the mobile communication network to be converged, and can provide ubiquitous and 'always-on' connection, which further accelerates the application of the IPv6 technology in 3G networks and mobile terminals.
Since most terminals still only support the IPv4 protocol at present, an important issue to be considered by each large network operator in the process of migrating the network to IPv6 is support and compatibility for IPv4 users.
In summary, the protocol stack types of the network include: IPv4 single stack, IPv6 single stack and IPv4/IPv6 dual stack functions. The dual stack of IPv4/IPv6 is divided into a dual stack supporting single Packet Data Protocol (IPv4v6Packet Data Protocol Context, IPv4v6PDP Context) and a dual stack supporting dual PDP (ParallelIPv4 and IPv 6PDP Contexts).
Different Mobile Terminals (MT) also support the above network protocols. Some mobile terminals only support IPv6 single stack and IPv4 single stack, and some mobile terminals do not support single PDP double stack.
In the existing implementation mode, because a user cannot know the dialing network protocol type supported by the mobile terminal, the user needs to perform dialing setting each time and initiate dialing connection, if the mobile terminal does not support the dialing type, a corresponding error code is returned to prompt the user that the dialing fails; at this time, the user needs to reset the dial-up connection and then initiate a dial-up connection. If the network side protocol stack does not support the dialing type, a corresponding error code is returned, and the user needs to initiate the dialing connection again.

Detailed Description
In order to improve user experience, a scheme needs to be implemented, when initiating a dial-up connection, a mobile terminal may adaptively select a supported network protocol type, initiate the dial-up connection, and shield a user from a difference between mobile terminal software and a network protocol stack supported by a network side.
The basic idea of the invention is as follows: the mobile terminal reports the network protocol type supported by the mobile terminal; the terminal equipment determines the configuration options of a user interface according to the network protocol type supported by the mobile terminal; and after receiving the dialing instruction input by the user according to the configuration option, the terminal equipment utilizes the mobile terminal to carry out dialing connection.
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the present invention is further described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings by way of examples.
Fig. 1 shows an implementation flow of the dial-up connection method of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 1, the method includes the following steps:
step 101, a mobile terminal reports network protocol types supported by the mobile terminal;
specifically, in this step, the mobile terminal may actively report the network protocol type supported by itself when being powered on, or may send the network protocol type supported by itself to the terminal device in a query response manner after receiving a network protocol type query message sent to the mobile terminal by the terminal device.
Here, a control message of a wireless service type may be preset, and the mobile terminal reads a network protocol type parameter supported by itself, constructs the control message, and reports the network protocol type supported by itself to the terminal device through the control message. The network protocol types comprise IPv4 single stack, IPv6 single stack, double PDP double stack and single PDP double stack.
102, the terminal equipment determines the configuration options of a user interface according to the network protocol type supported by the mobile terminal;
specifically, in this step, the terminal device parses the configuration message; when the mobile terminal supports an IPv4 single stack or an IPv6 single stack, determining that a configuration option of a user interface is set for a single Access Point Name (APN); when the mobile terminal supports an IPv4 single stack, an IPv6 single stack and a double PDP double stack after analysis, determining that the configuration option of a user interface is set by a double APN; and when the mobile terminal supports IPv4 single stack, IPv6 single stack, double PDP stacks and single PDP double stacks after analysis, determining that the configuration option of the user interface is set by a single APN.
And 103, after the terminal equipment receives a dialing instruction input by the user according to the configuration option, dialing connection is carried out by using the mobile terminal.
Specifically, in this step, the terminal device receives a configuration parameter and a dialing instruction input by a user, and after receiving the dialing instruction input by the user according to the configuration option, sends the dialing instruction to the mobile terminal; the mobile terminal processes the dialing instruction, fills the dialing instruction into a PDP dialing initiation request message specified by 3GPP, and sends the dialing instruction to the wireless network, and specifically, the mobile terminal can analyze a character string of the received dialing instruction to obtain dialing parameters such as a dialing protocol type and APN parameters, then calls a corresponding protocol stack according to the dialing protocol type, and fills the APN into the PDP dialing initiation request message specified by 3 GPP.
Further, after step 103, the method may further comprise: when the mobile terminal receives a dialing failure message of a single PDP (packet data protocol) dual-stack network protocol type carried out by a user, sending a trigger message to the terminal equipment; after receiving the trigger message, the terminal equipment re-initiates the IPv4 dial-up connection or the IPv6 dial-up connection according to whether the IPv6 dial-up connection or the IPv4 dial-up connection fails. Specifically, when a mobile terminal receives a signaling response message or an error code returned by a wireless network, analyzing the signaling response message or the error code; when the dial-up connections of IPv4 and IPv6 both fail in the dial-up connection of single PDP dual stack network protocol type, the dial-up can be automatically returned and reinitiated, when any one of the dial-up connections of IPv4 and IPv6 fails, a trigger message is sent to the terminal equipment, after the terminal equipment receives the trigger message, when the failed dial-up connection is IPv6 specifically, the IPv4 dial-up connection is reinitiated, and when the failed dial-up connection is IPv6 specifically, the IPv4 dial-up connection is reinitiated.
Fig. 2 shows an implementation flow of a specific embodiment of the dial-up connection method of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 2, the embodiment includes the following steps:
step 201, powering on a mobile terminal;
step 202, the mobile terminal reads the default or preset network protocol type;
here, the network protocol type may include: IPv4 single stack, IPv6 single stack, dual PDP dual stack, and single PDP dual stack.
Step 203, the mobile terminal sends the network protocol type supported by the mobile terminal to the terminal equipment in an active reporting or query response mode through the constructed control message;
step 204, the terminal equipment analyzes the received control message, executes step 205 when the message code obtained by analysis is 0x01 or 0x02, executes step 206 when the message code obtained by analysis is 0x03, and executes step 209 when the message code obtained by analysis is 0x 04;
step 205, the user interface displays the single APN setting, and step 207 is executed;
here, when the parsed message code is 0x01 or 0x02, it indicates that the network protocol type supported by the mobile terminal is IPv4 single stack or IPv6 single stack, and thus the user interface displays a single APN setting.
Step 206, the user interface displays the setting of the double APNs, and step 207 is executed;
here, when the analyzed message code is 0x03, it indicates that the network protocol types supported by the mobile terminal are IPv4 single stack, IPv6 single stack, and dual PDP dual stack, and therefore, the user interface displays the dual APN setting. Here, the dual PDP dual stack indicates that IPv4 and IPv6 dial-up connections can be initiated once at the same time.
Step 207, the terminal equipment receives the configuration parameters and the dialing instruction input by the user;
specifically, the terminal device receives configuration parameters input by a user according to configuration options displayed by a user interface, and then inputs a dialing instruction.
208, the terminal equipment uses the mobile terminal to carry out dialing connection;
specifically, the terminal device sends the dialing instruction to the mobile terminal, and the mobile terminal processes the dialing instruction and then fills the processed dialing instruction into a PDP dialing initiation request message specified by 3GPP, and sends the processed dialing instruction to the wireless network.
It should be understood that after this step, the embodiment may further include: the mobile terminal receives the response message or the error code returned by the wireless network, and if the IPv4 dial connection, the IPv6 dial connection or the double-PDP double-stack dial connection fails after analysis, a dial failure prompt can be made to the user, and the user can be prompted to reset and dial connection by displaying the unconnected state.
Step 209, the user interface displays a single APN setting;
here, when the analyzed message code is 0x04, it indicates that the network protocol types supported by the mobile terminal are IPv4 single stack, IPv6 single stack, dual PDP dual stack, and single PDP dual stack, and therefore, the user interface displays a single APN setting. Here, the single PDP dual stack indicates that IPv4 and IPv6 dial-up connections can be initiated once and set for a single APN.
Step 210, the terminal equipment receives configuration parameters and dialing instructions input by a user;
specifically, the terminal device receives configuration parameters input by a user according to configuration options displayed by a user interface, and then inputs a dialing instruction.
Step 211, the terminal equipment analyzes and issues a dialing instruction to the mobile terminal;
step 212, the mobile terminal initiates dialing to the wireless network;
specifically, in this step, the mobile terminal processes the dialing instruction and fills the processed dialing instruction into a PDP dialing initiation request message specified by 3GPP, and sends the processed dialing instruction to the wireless network, and specifically, the mobile terminal may perform character string analysis on the received dialing instruction to obtain a dialing parameter, such as a dialing protocol type, an APN, and other parameters, and then call a corresponding protocol stack according to the dialing protocol type, and fill the APN into the PDP dialing initiation request message specified by 3 GPP.
Step 213, the wireless network returns a response message or an error code;
step 214, the mobile terminal analyzes the response message or the error code and performs corresponding processing;
here, the mobile terminal parses the response message or the error code, may automatically fallback to reinitiate the dialing when the dialing connection of both IPv4 and IPv6 fails, and when the parsed error code is 52 in the 3GPP protocol, it indicates that one of the dialing connections of IPv4 and IPv6 fails, and then step 215 is executed.
In step 215, the mobile terminal sends a trigger message to the terminal device, and step 211 is executed.
It should be understood that, after the mobile terminal sends the trigger message to the terminal device, the step 211 is specifically executed as follows: after receiving the trigger message, the terminal device performs analysis, issues an IPv4 dialing instruction to the mobile terminal when the failed dial connection is IPv6, issues an IPv4 dialing instruction to the mobile terminal when the failed dial connection is IPv6, and refers to the above step 212 to step 214 in the subsequent processing process, which is not described again.
