背景技术
在带系统中通常利用张紧器来张紧向汽车发动机上的附件传递动力的环形带。张紧器典型使用弹簧,例如扁平线簧或圆形线簧,以朝着带偏压枢转臂。在采用圆形线簧的张紧器中,圆形线簧在组装期间被轴向压缩,用于向枢转臂施加轴向力。该轴向弹簧力用于在使用期间保持枢转臂对齐。
发明内容
在一个方面,用于张紧带的张紧器包括至少部分地限定弹簧腔的支撑壳体和可枢转地附接于所述支撑壳体的臂。一弹簧设置在弹簧腔中,其可操作地连接于臂和支撑壳体,以偏压臂,使之相对于支撑壳体枢转。弹簧是具有未加载轴向高度的圆形线卷簧(wire coil spring),以及其中,弹簧腔具有的高度大于弹簧的未加载轴向高度。
在另一个方面,用于张紧带的张紧器包括支撑壳体、可枢转地附接于所述支撑壳体的臂以及构造成用轴向力将臂和支撑壳体偏压在一起的压缩构件。一圆形线簧可操作地连接于支撑壳体和臂,以偏压臂,使之相对于支撑壳体枢转。圆形线簧设置在支撑壳体内,使得由压缩构件施加的轴向力不施加到弹簧上。

具体实施方式
参见图1,带张紧器10包括支撑壳体12和枢转臂14,所述枢转臂14可旋转地安装到支撑壳体上以在其间形成弹簧腔16。一螺旋圆形线簧18位于弹簧腔16内部,并可操作地连接于枢转臂14和支撑壳体12两者。在使用期间,圆形线簧18对枢转臂14施加一个力,以朝着未加载位置偏压枢转臂。枢转臂14承载一带轮20,例如前或后侧惰轮,带轮20可以相对于枢转臂旋转。带轮20具有用于接合带116、例如汽车传动带(图6)的带接合表面22。正如下面将要更加详细地描述的,弹簧腔16具有的高度H大于圆形线簧18的未加载高度h(图1A),这有效地使圆形线簧与所施加的轴向压缩力隔离,例如,以便保持枢转臂对齐和提供摩擦阻尼。
再参见图2,支撑壳体12包括基底26、外壁28和对齐构件30,对齐构件30从基底向上延伸,并中心定位在由外壁和基底形成的凹进部分42内。对齐构件30具有扩大的近端部分32、较狭窄的远端部分34和之间的过渡部分(图1),过渡部分形成支座表面36,支座表面36的形状设计成接收枢转衬套40(例如,由模压塑料形成)的基体部分38。
枢转臂14包括:其尺寸设计成接收枢转衬套40和对齐构件30两者的套筒44;从套筒向外延伸的上壁46;尺寸设计成接收对齐构件30的端部76的开口74;和带轮支架52,其在偏离开口74的部位连接于上壁。枢转臂14和支撑壳体12均可以由任何合适的材料形成,包括金属或聚合物,并且可以由任何合适的方法形成,例如铸造、机加工和/或模压。
一弹簧衬套54(例如,由模压塑料形成)设置在枢转臂14和支撑壳体12之间。弹簧衬套54具有可布置成连续地(即,不间断的)环形接触枢转臂14下边缘58的上表面56和可布置成连续地环形接触支撑壳体12上边缘62的下表面60。这种连续的环形接触可以使弹簧衬套-枢转臂-支撑壳体组件之间接触表面面积达到最大,这可以增加使用期间枢转臂的摩擦阻尼。做为选择,在其它实施例中,上表面56与下边缘58之间的接触和/或下表面60与上边缘62之间的接触可以是不连续的。
一凸缘64绕弹簧衬套54的周边延伸。凸缘64具有内表面66和68,内表面66和68构造成分别在支撑壳体12的外表面70和枢转臂14的外表面72上延伸,例如以在枢转臂和支撑壳体之间提供迷宫式密封。该密封可以阻止外来媒介、例如污垢、油等等通过进入弹簧腔,外来媒介的进入会影响张紧器的工作。在有些实施例中,弹簧衬套可以不包括凸缘,或者凸缘可以只在其中一个外表面70或72上延伸。
如上所述,在使用期间,圆形线簧18朝着未加载位置偏压枢转臂14。参见图3和图4,提供了狭槽75和77,以可操作地将圆形线簧18连接到支撑壳体12和枢转臂14中的每个上。如图所示,狭槽75和77为L形状;但是,可以使用任何合适的形状。参见图1A和图3,枢转臂14包括狭槽77,狭槽77的尺寸设计成接收圆形线簧18的向内端78。在所示的实施例中,狭槽77只部分地延伸至套筒44内,并在邻近开口74的部位(图2)穿过上壁46。现在参见图1A和图4,支撑壳体12包括贯穿外壁28延伸的狭槽75,狭槽75的尺寸设计成接收圆形线簧18的向外端80。狭槽75在与支撑壳体12上边缘62间隔开的部位坐落于基底26附近。在某些情况下,狭槽75只是部分地穿过外壁28延伸。
在弹簧可操作地连接于枢转臂14和支撑壳体12的情况下,仅仅通过相对于枢转臂和支撑壳体中的一个旋转另外一个,就可以向枢转臂施加偏压力。参见图5A-5C,支撑壳体12和枢转臂14分别包括配合止动件96和98。止动件96从支撑安装件102的上表面100向上延伸,止动件96包括较平的表面区域104、较倾斜的表面区域106和能够接合止动件98的止动表面110的止动表面108。止动件98也包括较平的表面区域112和较倾斜的表面区域114。尤其参见图5A和图5B,止动件96和98的倾斜表面区域106和114配合,以允许止动件98在旋转期间沿着止动件96的平表面区域104滑动。尤其参见图5C,一旦止动件98的止动表面110经过止动件96的止动表面108,止动表面相接合,以阻止由于偏压力引起的反转,由此将枢转臂14置于未加载位置。
回到图1和2,利用臂板82(例如,由弹簧钢形成)和板衬套84(例如,由塑料形成),通过一轴向压缩力将组件夹紧或压缩在一起。板衬套84的尺寸设计成装在枢转臂14的支座部分86内。一升高的边沿88在支座部分86周围延伸,以便一旦坐在支座部分内,就对齐板衬套。可以看到,板衬套84具有内表面89,内表面89与对齐构件30的外表面90间隔开,其间形成间隙92。尤其参见图1,在将臂板82径向铆接到对齐构件30上期间,臂板的内边缘94被弹性偏转至内表面89与外表面90之间形成的间隙92内。该弹性偏转将组件偏压在一起,从而影响张紧器10的旋转部分与静止部分之间的滑动摩擦,用以在使用其间对齐枢转臂14。利用臂板和板衬套以提供轴向夹紧力,更详细地描述美国专利6,206,797中,其详细内容在此引入作为参考,就好像在此完全阐明一样。
如上所述,现在参见图1和1A,弹簧腔16的高度H(例如,大于41mm,诸如约42.2mm)大于圆形线簧18的未加载高度h(例如,小于约42.2mm,诸如约41mm)。从而,由于臂板82施加轴向压缩力,没有轴向力被传递给圆形线簧18,而且轴向压缩力也不必克服由弹簧施加的任何轴向弹簧力,以将组件偏压在一起。因而,圆形线簧18与由臂板82施加的轴向压缩力有效隔离。而且,在有些实施例中,因为弹簧腔16的H大于圆形线簧18的h,不必施加轴向压缩力来保持枢转臂的弹簧偏压的、未加载位置,这是因为没有导致枢转臂脱离支撑壳体12的轴向弹簧力被施加给枢转臂。此外,在有些情况下,圆形线簧18的使用可以提供封装优点,例如在很难封装扁平线簧的情况下。
已经描述了若干详细实施例。不过,应当明白,可以进行各种各样的改进。例如,虽然已经描述了臂板和板衬套夹紧配置,但是,也可以使用其它合适的压缩设备,例如贝氏弹簧或波状弹簧。因此,其它实施例也在下列权利要求的范围之内。

Claims (16)

1.一种用于张紧带的张紧器,其特征在于:
支撑壳体,其具有可枢转地安装于所述支撑壳体的枢转臂以形成弹簧腔,所述支撑壳体和所述枢转臂均具有配合止动件;
设置在所述弹簧腔中的弹簧,所述弹簧可操作地连接于所述枢转臂和所述支撑壳体,所述弹簧偏压所述枢转臂以相对于所述支撑壳体枢转,以及
位于所述枢转臂上的可偏转臂板,所述臂板被偏转至与所述支撑壳体接合,所述壁板和所述支撑壳体的接合提供了轴向力,该轴向力将所述枢转臂和所述支撑壳体夹紧在一起,
每个止挡件包括止动表面,所述止动表面能够接合另一个止动件的止动表面以将所述枢转臂处于无负载位置。
2.根据权利要求1所述的张紧器,其中所述支撑壳体的止动件从所述支撑壳体的上表面延伸,并且包括较平的表面区域和较倾斜的表面区域,所述枢转臂的所述止动件包括较平的表面区域和较倾斜的表面区域,这两个止动件的所述较倾斜的表面区域相配合以允许所述枢转臂的所述止动件沿着所述支撑壳体的所述止动件的较平的表面区域滑动。
3.如权利要求1所述的张紧器,其还包括一弹簧衬套,所述弹簧衬套设置在所述枢转臂与所述支撑壳体之间。
4.如权利要求2所述的张紧器,其中所述弹簧衬套包括形成凸缘的外边沿,所述外边沿在所述枢转臂和所述支撑壳体中的至少一个的外表面上延伸。
5.如权利要求3所述的张紧器,其中所述弹簧衬套的形成凸缘的外边沿在所述枢转臂和所述支撑壳体两者的外表面上延伸。
6.如权利要求1所述的张紧器,其中所述弹簧是扁平线簧或者圆形线簧。
7.如权利要求6所述的张紧器,其中所述弹簧当布置在所述弹簧腔中时没有被轴向压缩。
8.如权利要求2所述的张紧器,其中所述弹簧当布置在所述弹簧腔中时没有施加轴向力至所述枢转臂,所述枢转臂可枢转地连接到所述支撑壳体。
9.如权利要求1所述的张紧器,其中所述支撑壳体具有对准元件,在所述对准元件内具有扩大的近端部分、较窄的远端和在所述近端部分和远端之间的过渡部分,所述过渡部分形成支座表面,所述支撑壳体还包括具有凸缘的枢转衬套,所述凸缘位于所述对准元件的支座表面上。
10.如权利要求9所述的张紧器,其中所述枢转臂包括套筒,所述套筒的尺寸用于接收所述枢转衬套和所述对准元件两者,所述枢转衬套与所述套筒和所述对准元件并列布置。
11.如权利要求9所述的张紧器,其还包括在所述可偏转臂板和所述枢转臂之间的板衬套,所述板衬套与所述对准元件间隔开以限定出一间隙;所述可偏转臂板被偏转到所述间隙中以接合所述支撑壳体的所述对准元件。
12.如权利要求11所述的张紧器,其中所述可偏转臂板与所述对准元件花键连接。
13.一种用于张紧皮带的张紧器,其包括:
支撑壳体;
臂,其枢转连接至所述支撑壳体;
弹簧,其可操作地连接于所述臂和所述支撑壳体,所述弹簧偏压所述臂以相对于所述支撑壳体枢转,
位于所述臂上的可偏转臂板,所述臂板被偏转至与所述支撑壳体接合以提供轴向力,该轴向力将所述臂和所述支撑壳体夹紧在一起,而没有轴向压缩所述弹簧。
14.如权利要求13所述的张紧器,其中所述弹簧为扁平线簧或者圆形线簧。
15.如权利要求14所述的张紧器,其中所述弹簧当布置在所述弹簧腔中时没有被轴向压缩。
16.如权利要求13所述的张紧器,其中当所述弹簧布置在所述弹簧腔中时,所述弹簧没有施加轴向力至所述臂,所述臂可枢转地连接至所述支撑壳体。
