Abstract

技术领域
本发明大体上涉及整体煤气化联合循环(IGCC)(Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle)发电装置,并且更具体地说,涉及用于在IGCC装置中将稀释剂氮(diluent nitrogen)与干燥的合成气一起使用的方法与装置。
背景技术
在至少一些已知的IGCC装置中以及在一定的操作条件下,稀释剂与合成气相混合,以便提高通过燃烧器的质量流量(mass flow)。来自空气分离器的氮工艺气(nitrogen process gas)通常被用作稀释剂。当需要额外的稀释剂时,该合成气用水蒸汽而饱和,其作为额外的稀释剂。然而,将水蒸汽添加到该合成气中会导致该合成气热值上的变化。这样的变化会导致着火温度(firing temperature)不一致,和/或会不利地影响该燃烧器的性能和/或效率。而且,该合成气中的湿气不利地降低该燃烧器的着火温度以及燃烧器效率。因此,水蒸汽的添加可能引起的不利影响可能超过任何益处。
因此,需要将稀释剂供给到燃烧器中的方法与装置,以便保持合成气的恒定热值。保持恒定的加热有助于该燃烧器保持恒定的着火温度,使得也保持该燃烧器的性能和效率。另外,需要将稀释剂供给到该燃烧器中使得干燥的合成气能有效率地燃烧的方法与装置,以便提高该燃烧器的着火温度,并进一步改进该燃烧器的性能和效率。还需要有助于改进工艺余热的使用的方法与装置,以便提高IGCC装置的效率。
发明内容
在一方面,提供了用于在具有燃烧器的整体煤气化联合循环(IGCC)装置中将稀释剂引入合成气流中的一种方法。该装置还包括热回收蒸汽发生器(heat recovery steam generator)。该方法包括:产生氮工艺气(NPG)和水蒸汽,用该水蒸汽来饱和该NPG,使用来自该热回收蒸汽发生器(HRSG)、工艺余热以及压缩机抽出空气的热量来提高该饱和的NPG的温度,以及将基本上干燥的合成气与该饱和并且被加热的NPG一起供给到该燃烧器中。

具体实施方式
如本文中所使用的用语“合成气”指的是由部分氧化的烃类(hydro -carbonaceous)原料制造的合成气体。合成气基于所使用的原料而在其确切组分上改变,但通常主要地包括一氧化碳、氢、水、二氧化碳,并且还可能包括例如硫化氢这样的杂质。合成气被用来作为至少一些整体煤气化联合循环(IGCC)装置的燃烧器中的燃料。
在该示例性实施例中,IGCC装置21包括气化器23以及与涡轮机29和压缩机27处于流连通联接的燃烧器25。压缩机27在涡轮机29上游并与其处于流连通。涡轮机29可旋转地联接到发电机31上,并且涡轮机29与热回收蒸汽发生器(HRSG)33也处于流连通。HRSG33可旋转地联接到蒸汽涡轮机35上,蒸汽涡轮机35也可旋转地联接到一个另外的发电机37上。在该示例性实施例中,空气分离器39与气化器23和燃烧器25处于流连通联接。

在操作中,空气分离器39接收周围空气,并将所接收的空气分离成氧气流和氮工艺气(NPG)流。该氧气流被引导至气化器23,用于在将烃类原料部分氧化中使用,以便制造合成气。在该示例性实施例中,该NPG包括按重量计大约95%的氮,并且可包括氧、氩和/或其它微量大气成分。而且,在该示例性实施例中,该NPG包括按重量计大约2%或更少的水蒸汽。当该NPG离开空气分离器39时,该NPG处于大约250°F(121℃)的温度与320磅/平方英寸(psig)(22.5千克/平方厘米)的压力。由于该NPG容易得到并且不可燃,在一些实施例中,空气分离器39将该NPG直接引导至燃烧器25,该NPG在那里被用来作为燃料稀释剂,以便有助于增加通过燃烧器25的质量流量。增加通过燃烧器25的质量流量有助于增加当该气体离开燃烧器25时所产生的推力的量。
当该NPG离开空气分离器39时,该NPG被引导至饱和器41。在一个实施例中,饱和器41增加了盘式塔(trayed tower),其允许NPG和低压蒸汽以很少的压力损失或没有压力损失而混合。在其它实施例中,饱和器41可不同于盘式塔。在该示例性实施例中,该低压蒸汽从饱和器41循环流通至HRSG 33,然后再返回至饱和器41。更具体地说,在该示例性实施例中,该蒸汽在大约210°F(99℃)的温度下离开饱和器41,然后先是在HRSG 33中被加热至大约305°F(152℃),之后被返回至饱和器41(该蒸汽在那里将其热量传给NPG)。离开饱和器41的饱和的NPG包括大约16%的水,并处于大约285°F(140℃)的温度。在至少一个实施例中,在该饱和的NPG到达燃烧器25之前,该NPG被过热,以便有助于在燃烧器25内部提供水冷凝(water condensation),和有助于最小化或者至少降低燃烧器25所需能量的量。减少燃烧器25所需能量的量有助于提高燃烧器25的整体效率。
该饱和的NPG被热交换器43以及被热交换器45加热。在该饱和的NPG离开饱和器41之后,该NPG被传输通过热交换器43。在热交换器43中,工艺余热将其热量传给该饱和的NPG流。在一个实施例中,操作者可选择该工艺余热的来源。在另一实施例中,工艺余热的来源是预选的。此外,在一些实施例中,在大约700°F(371℃)的温度下排出的来自压缩机27的抽出空气在热交换器43中将其热量传给该饱和的NPG流。当该饱和的NPG离开热交换器43时,该NPG处于大约650°F(343℃)的温度和310磅/平方英寸(22千克/平方厘米)的压力。该饱和的NPG然后被引导通过热交换器45。在热交换器45中,处于大约800°F(427℃)的温度和220磅/平方英寸(15千克/平方厘米)的压力下的来自压缩机27的抽出空气将其热量传给该饱和的NPG流。

处于大约800°F(427℃)的来自压缩机27的抽出空气在热交换器43中将其一些热量传给该饱和的NPG。抽出空气在大约700°F(371℃)的温度下从热交换器43排出,其中,该抽出空气然后在热交换器45中将其更多热量传给该饱和的NPG。从热交换器45排出之后,该抽出空气处于大约320°F(160℃)的温度。该抽出空气然后在热交换器47中将其更多热量传给来自蒸汽涡轮机35的冷凝物。该抽出空气在大约130°F(54℃)的温度下从热交换器47排出,并被引导至空气分离器39用于再使用。
在至少一已知的IGCC系统中,来自蒸汽涡轮机的冷凝物在HRSG中被加热。然而,在本发明的实施例中,HRSG 33将蒸汽加热,用于在饱和器41中使用。来自蒸汽涡轮机35的冷凝物被利用工艺余热来加热。在至少一个实施例中,这种产物余热(waste product heat)的来源可由操作者选择,或者在另一实施例中,从任何其它来源预选。
本公开的一些实施例的一个区别特征在于,仅仅将稀释剂氮饱和,而不将合成气饱和,并且HRSG 33是主要热源。
来自蒸汽涡轮机35的冷凝物在从蒸汽涡轮机35排出时处于大约100°F(38℃)的温度。该冷凝物被引导通过热交换器47,该冷凝物在那里从自压缩机27排出的抽出空气的热量以及来自工艺余热的热量中获取其中一些热量。该冷凝物从热交换器47排出之后处于大约210°F(99℃)的温度,并被引导至HRSG 33用于加热成蒸汽,以便被蒸汽涡轮机35使用。

Claims (10)
1.一种整体煤气化联合循环(IGCC)装置(21),所述装置包括:
饱和器(41),其设置为用水蒸汽来饱和氮工艺气(NPG);
热回收蒸汽发生器(HRSG)(33);
延缓通过所述饱和器的低压蒸汽回路,其中,所述HRSG设置为将所述低压蒸汽回路加热;

3.根据权利要求2所述的装置(21),其特征在于,所述装置还设置为,产生供给到所述燃烧器(25)的近似恒定热值的燃料。
4.根据权利要求3所述的装置(21),其特征在于,所述燃烧器(25)在近似恒定的温度下被操作。
5.一种用于在具有燃烧器(25)与热回收蒸汽发生器(33)的整体煤气化联合循环(IGCC)装置(21)中将稀释剂引到合成气流中的方法,所述方法包括:
产生氮工艺气(NPG)和水蒸汽;
用所述水蒸汽来饱和所述氮工艺气(NPG);
使用来自所述热回收蒸汽发生器(HRSG)、工艺余热以及压缩机抽出空气的热量提高所述饱和的NPG的温度;以及
将基本上干燥的合成气与所述饱和并且被加热的NPG一起供给至所述燃烧器。
6.根据权利要求5所述的方法,其特征在于,所述供给所述基本上干燥的合成气还包括,供给处于恒定湿气水平的基本上干燥的合成气。
7.根据权利要求6所述的方法,其特征在于,所述方法还包括,在大体上恒定的着火温度下操作所述燃烧器(25)。
8.根据权利要求5所述的方法,其特征在于,所述供给所述基本上干燥的合成气还包括,供给具有恒定热值的合成气。
9.根据权利要求8所述的方法,其特征在于,所述方法还包括,在大体上恒定的着火温度下操作所述燃烧器(25)。
10.根据权利要求5所述的方法,其特征在于,所述方法还包括,使用所述热回收蒸汽发生器(33)加热用于将所述NPG饱和的所述蒸汽。
