Abstract
A theft deterrent dispensing unit particularly for use with cans includes a conveyor section that leads to a dispensing head. The dispensing head pivots downwardly allowing the leading can to be grasped. As the dispensing head pivots downwardly, rear tabs of the dispensing head pivots upwardly, preventing the next adjacent can from moving immediately into the dispensing head until the dispensing head rotates back to a closed position. The tabs also act to center smaller cans as they move down the dispenser. Further, when the dispensing head is pivoted to an open position, a barrier is pulled down from the top of the shroud, preventing an individual from reaching in and grabbing the next adjacent can. The dispensing head includes recessed guide members which are raised when smaller round cans are dispensed, centering the cans in the front of the dispenser.

As described in Figure 3, the bottom 60 of dispensing head 14 comprises first and second hollow sleeves 62 and 64, this first and second hollow sleeve 62 and 64 lays respectively between the first side cantilever lug 40 and the center cantilever lug 44, and between the center cantilever lug 44 and the second side cantilever lug 42.Bar 46 passes sleeve 62 and passes center cantilever lug 44 and sleeve 64 from the first side cantilever lug 40, finally extends to the second cantilever lug, thereby dispensing head 14 is pivotably connected to delivery section 12.
Two wind springs 66 and 67 in the both sides of center lug 44 in abutting connection with sleeve 62 and 64 and be provided with around bar 46.Wind spring 66 and 67 front-end and back-end are respectively 68a, 68b and 70a, 70b.The end of these springs is at closed position bias voltage dispensing head 14, as Fig. 4 and shown in Figure 2.
The bottom surface 60 of dispensing head 14 also comprises the first and second downward extending columns 78 and 79 that are positioned at dispensing head 14 opposite sides.Locking piece 80 is connected to the forward edge 48 of delivery section.Locking piece 80 comprises the voussoir 82 of the quadrant shape of pivot, when the physical slot shown in Fig. 7 A, this voussoir has to be placed in to part the side 83a below the post 78 of joining unit 10a on the right side and be placed in adjacent parting on the left side joins a side 83b below the post 79 of unit 10b.Shown in Fig. 7 B, when the left dispensing head 14 of unit 10a moved to open position, post 78 moved down, and caused voussoir 82 to leave post 78 to inner rotary. When post 78 is left in voussoir 82 rotation, this voussoir 82 rotate to next adjacent left unit 10b post 79 below, the dispensing head 14 of anti-stop element 10b is pivoted to open position.Locking piece 80 also comprises lug 84.Lug 84 is designed to be connected with the post 78 of adjacent allocation units, and aligns with adjacent cells.
Another release mechanism is included in the guard shield 26.Connecting rod 90 and 92 extends to the both sides of plate 94 from first and second sidewalls 36,37 of guard shield 26, and this plate 94 has the sidewall 36 that is pivotably connected to guard shield 26 and 37 leading edge 96.When dispensing head 14 is pivoted to open position, sidewall 52,54 pulling connecting rods 90 and 92, thereby downward pull plate 94.Simultaneously, back edge 102 and lug 106 and 108 are to rising, thereby next jar remains on original position. Therefore, when downward arm-tie 94, as shown in Figure 5, can choose first jar of 16a, but next jar 16b on the delivery section cannot take out.Passage has been blocked by plate 94.When distributor turned back to the closed position, plate 94 upwards pivoted, and moved forward on the allocation units 14 to allow a jar 16b.
Usually, a plurality of allocation units 10 are placed side by side on drawer type shelf 98.Shelf 98 can be set to slightly, and thereby the inclination angle makes jar to front slide, and perhaps thereby unit itself can be arranged on the support (not shown) at inclination angle go up and guarantee the gravity charging.
Shown in Fig. 8 A, Fig. 8 B, Fig. 9 A and Fig. 9 B, distributor is applicable to and uses cylindrical tank 16 and ordinary rectangular jar 18.The rectangle jar of producing trends towards being wider than cylindrical tank 16 now.Although the distributor of broad can be provided with rectangle jar and cylindrical tank, cylindrical tank can trend towards departing from the center in this distributor, and this can influence the visual attraction of commodity. Therefore, shown in Fig. 8 A and Fig. 8 B, the sidewall 52 and 54 of dispensing head 14 comprises the leg 104 and 106 that extends back, and is fixed on the taper tab 108 and 110 on leg 104 and 106.These lugs usually be arranged at recess 112 and 114 in the substrate of distributor flush upwards rise of these lugs when pulling down dispensing head. The sidepiece 116 of taper is connected with 119 with the angle 117 of rectangle jar with 118, thereby the jar 18B of prevention back jar 18A up front moves forward after being taken away by client.
Dispensing head also comprises first and second guides 120 and 122.As shown in the figure, guide 120 and 122 is the lug in the slit 124 and 126 of substrate 50 that is arranged at dispensing head 14, and centroclinal towards dispensing head.Guide 120,122 extends to down position from lifting position.(see Figure 11 A and 11B.) at down position (Figure 11 B), jar passes through thereby the upper surface 128 of guide 120,124 flushes permission with substrate 50.Guide is included in the slit 124,126 ridge 130 with ridge 132 interference fit, thereby guide is remained on lifting position, shown in Fig. 8 A and 8B.
Shown in Fig. 8 A and 11A, when being positioned at lifting position, guide 120,122 makes the cylindrical can 16a of dispensing head 14 fronts be positioned at the center. Therefore, when cylindrical can was assigned with, guide was positioned at lifting position, and shown in Fig. 9 A and 9B, when bigger rectangle jar 18a was assigned with, guide was positioned at down position.
In use, unit 10 is mounted with jar, and this jar is cylindrical tank 16 or rectangle jar 18.If load the rectangle jar, down position shifted downwards onto by guide 120 and 122 and upper surface 128 flushes (seeing Figure 11 B) with substrate 50.If the loading cylindrical can, guide 120 and 122 is pulled to circular position, shown in Figure 11 A.These unit 10 are arranged side by side.If client wants to take off jar 16A or 18A from shelf, to pressing down protuberance 58, thereby make top jar of 16A or 18A tilt not to be subjected to the obstruction of guard shield 26 to take out jar. This is with cylindrical tank more specifically expression in Fig. 5.
Shown in Fig. 6 and 7B, next post 78 will promote the voussoir 82 of locking piece 80 along the direction of arrow 100.Voussoir 82 be positioned at the left side adjacent allocation units post 79 under, thereby the dispensing head 14 that prevents this unit is pivoted to open position. Therefore, have only first jar can take off.
When dispensing head unit 14 pivoted downwards, the back edge 102 of the substrate of dispensing head rose on the plane of substrate 20 of delivery section. This prevents that next cylindrical tank 16b from forwards gliding. In addition, when dispensing head 14 is positioned at open position, connecting rod 90 and 92 can pull down, and can cause plate 94 to pull down then. This prevents that the individual from entering and grasping next adjacent tank 16b.
Similarly, for the rectangle jar 18 shown in Fig. 9 A and 9B, lug 108 and 110 remains on original position with next rectangle jar 18b, thereby prevent that it from moving forward in the dispensing head, rise to the closed position up to dispensing head, make lug 108 with 110 with respect to cylindrical tank 16 with the mode effect identical with the back edge 102 of the substrate of dispensing head.
In case the individual discharges dispensing head 14, spring 66 and 67 impels dispensing head 14 to the closed position. When this happens, substrate 50 and crooked tongue piece 72 will move up, thereby cause gear 74 rotations of damping piece 76.In fact damping piece 76 can be controlled the speed that dispensing head 14 is closed, and can set up the required time interval before same unit or adjacent cells taking-up at next jar then.
In case dispensing head is closed, back edge 102 can be provided with substrate 20 with flushing, and lug 108 and 110 also flushes with the substrate 20 of the recess area 112 that is arranged on substrate and 114.This allows next jar to slide into forward in the dispensing head 14.If jar is a rectangle, this jar meeting slips over guide 120 and 122.If jar is circular, the guide 120 of rising and 122 can make the jar 16a of front portion, unit be positioned at the center.
In order to supply distributor 10, shelf 98 are pulled out simply, allow to enter the rear portion of conveyer, can load extra jar then.Usually, shelf 98 comprise lock (not shown), and this lock prevents that the thief from pulling out shelf.
Therefore, the present invention is used for the simple distribution of jar.In addition, it prevents that also the individual from taking out two jars simultaneously from adjacent unit, in addition, prevents that the individual from taking out a plurality of jars and need not open and close dispensing head fully from identical allocation units.Because adjuster or brake are arranged on the dispensing head, a required shut-in time of unit is controlled.Utilize guide 120 and 122, the unit can be used for cylindrical can and bigger rectangle jar.
Shown the present invention of the dispensing head that is used for burglary-resisting system with pivot. But, can also use fixing dispensing head or part, wherein jar can not need moving-head or distributor anterior and choose. But this can not provide antitheft.
In conjunction with implementing preferred implementation of the present invention the present invention has been described. But the present invention itself only limits by the statement in the additional claim.
