可降解的香烟滤嘴
技术领域
本发明涉及可降解的香烟滤嘴,且更特别地涉及由可降解的材料制成的异形纤维(shaped filber)以及这种异形纤维在香烟滤嘴中的使用。
背景技术
常规香烟滤嘴棒由通过三醋精而彼此结合的醋酸纤维素纤维制成。在被抽过之后,用过的滤嘴有时被丢弃到环境中。其中的醋酸纤维素纤丝趋于比香烟的烟草部分和/或纸部分降解得更慢,通常形成环境中的垃圾。为了减少这种垃圾,需要用在环境中比醋酸纤维素降解得更快的材料来替代香烟滤嘴中的醋酸纤维素纤丝。同时,也需要保留源自醋酸纤维素三醋精体系的过滤化学性质(filtration chemistry)、烟气特性及消费者可接受性。
发明内容
本发明的一个目的在于一种香烟滤嘴,所述香烟滤嘴由可生物降解的材料制成,所述可生物降解的材料形成为具有设计好的横截面形状的纤维。
本发明的另一目的在于一种香烟滤嘴,所述香烟滤嘴由可生物降解的异形纤维制成,所述可生物降解的异形纤维具有增加的每滤嘴表面积以及减少的每滤嘴总材料(overall material)。
本发明的又一目的在于一种香烟滤嘴,所述香烟滤嘴由可生物降解的异形纤维制成,所述可生物降解的异形纤维在其内具有多个微腔,所述微腔用于保持香料和吸附剂以便根据喜好进行传送并选择性地进行过滤。
根据本发明,一种可生物降解的香烟滤嘴包括PHBV制成的异形纤维。所述纤维可具有多种设计好的横截面形状,包括Y形、V形、C形、三联体(Triad)形、4-DG形以及JC形。此外,所述异形纤维可包括多个微腔,而吸附剂和/或香料位于所述微腔中。

具体实施方式
本发明的香烟滤嘴可由可生物降解的材料制成的片材、薄膜、纤维带、纱线或无纺物来制造,所述可生物降解的材料例如为纸(木浆)、羊毛、具有低乙酰化水平的醋酸纤维素、淀粉、以及淀粉基聚合物复合材料、棉花、聚乳酸、聚乙烯醇、聚羟基烷基酸酯、聚酯、聚酰胺酯、聚己内酯、不稳定的聚丙烯、微玻璃材料以及它们的组合。可生物降解的材料可通过熔融纺丝、干法纺丝、湿法纺丝、电纺丝或其它任何公知工艺加工成纤维,从而纺丝成纤维。
例如,PHBV(聚羟基丁酸戊酸共聚酯)及其与脂肪族芳香族聚酯比如Ecoflex、PBS(聚丁二酸丁二醇酯)、d-、1-及dl-PLA(聚乳酸)和淀粉复合材料的混合物,已成功地通过熔融纺丝工艺纺丝成圆形横截面纤维。然而,为了增加每滤嘴的表面积并减少每滤嘴的材料使用,本发明的滤嘴纤维具有改进的横截面形状。这些异形纤维形成滤嘴并用在垃圾减少的香烟中。
纤维的横截面可由在纺丝工艺中所采用的模具的形状来控制。如图1至图6所示,通过在熔融纺丝工艺中采用合适的模具,纤维的横截面可改为Y、V、C、三联体、4-DG、或JC形状。已在文献中报告的其它纤维横截面(比如美国专利US 6,907,895中的那些横截面)通过引用包括于本发明。
为了将这些异形纤维加工成香烟滤嘴,在香烟滤嘴制造过程中,由单组分或多组分构成的这些异形纤维的单缕或多缕可被抽拉并折成丝束带,或者由可更快速降解的材料制成的这些异形纤维的多缕可与醋酸纤维素纤维结合以形成接合丝束带(joint tow band)。替代地,由上述纤维制造的无纺物能由熔喷工艺、纺丝结合工艺、针刺/针毡工艺、湿法工艺、气铺法工艺和其它工艺来生产,并随后通过滚压工序、折叠工序或切丝(shredding)工序加工成香烟滤嘴。当出于坚固性及烟气主观调整而需要时,合适量的粘接/硬化试剂可施布到滤嘴中的纤维上。吸附剂(比如炭颗粒)以及香料(比如薄荷醇)也可注入到所述异形纤维的微腔中。

Claims (12)

1.一种可生物降解的香烟滤嘴,包括PHBV制成的异形纤维。
2.根据权利要求1所述的可生物降解的香烟滤嘴,其中,所述纤维具有Y形横截面。
3.根据权利要求1所述的可生物降解的香烟滤嘴,其中,所述纤维具有V形横截面。
4.根据权利要求1所述的可生物降解的香烟滤嘴,其中,所述纤维具有C形横截面。
5.根据权利要求1所述的可生物降解的香烟滤嘴,其中,所述纤维具有三联体形横截面。
6.根据权利要求1所述的可生物降解的香烟滤嘴,其中,所述纤维具有4-DG形横截面。
7.根据权利要求1所述的可生物降解的香烟滤嘴,其中,所述纤维具有JC形横截面。
8.根据权利要求1所述的可生物降解的香烟滤嘴,其中,所述纤维包括多个微腔。
9.根据权利要求8所述的可生物降解的香烟滤嘴,包括位于所述微腔中的吸附剂。
10.根据权利要求9所述的可生物降解的香烟滤嘴,其中,所述吸附剂包括炭。
11.根据权利要求8所述的可生物降解的香烟滤嘴,包括位于所述微腔中的香料。
12.根据权利要求11所述的可生物降解的香烟滤嘴,其中,所述香料包括薄荷醇。
