Description
本发明涉及使用除草有效量的环己二酮除草剂防治草坪中杂草的方法。
高质量、健康的草坪对例如草场、高尔夫球场、运动区域及与之相邻的道路来说是必不可少的。由于杂草与草坪草植物之间在颜色和纹理上的反差,因此杂草会降低草坪的质量。另外,杂草与草坪草植物竞争可用的水分和养料,通常导致合乎需要的草坪草覆盖稀疏。因此,需要新的方法以提高草坪草的质量,来提供高质量、健康的草坪。
化合物4-羟基-3-[2-(2-甲氧基乙氧基甲基)-6-三氟甲基吡啶-3-羰基]-二环[3.2.1]辛-3-烯-2-酮是已知的在作物中对抗杂草的有效除草剂,所述作物选自谷类、棉花、大豆、糖用甜菜、甘蔗、种植作物、油菜籽、玉米和水稻。该化合物及其制备从例如WO 01/94339中已知。

为了本发明的目的,术语“杂草”包括不希望的作物种类例如自生作物。例如,在草坪草作物的环境中,例如高尔夫球场,如果在不同品种的草正在培养的路线区域发现,那么匍匐剪股颖轻击区草坪可被认为是自生的。
术语“所在地”作为这里使用,意指包括草坪草正在生长的地方、草坪草的种子播种的地方或为了随后的植物生长而将要播种草坪草种子的地方。根据本发明,草坪的“所在地”可以涉及土壤或基质。上述所在地的例子为高尔夫球场,在其上对草坪草进行管理。

本发明的式I化合物能够以如同在合成中获得的未改变的形式用作除草剂,但是它们通常使用制剂助剂和辅剂,例如载体、溶剂和表面活性剂,以各种方法配制成除草组合物。制剂可以是多种物理形式,例如粉尘剂、凝胶剂、可湿性粉剂、水分散颗粒剂、水分散片剂、泡腾压片剂、乳油、微乳油、水包油乳剂、油剂、水分散剂、油分散剂、悬浮乳剂、微胶囊剂、可溶性液剂、水溶性浓缩物(以水或水混溶有机溶剂作为载体)、或浸透的聚合物膜。上述制剂可以直接使用或在使用前稀释。稀释制剂可以用例如水、液体肥料、微量营养素、生物学有机体、油或溶剂来制备。
例如,制剂可以通过将活性成分与制剂助剂混合的方式制备,以获得细散固体、颗粒剂、溶液、悬浮液或乳液形式的制剂。活性成分也可以与其它助剂,例如细散固体、矿物油、植物油、改性植物油、有机溶剂、水、表面活性物质或其组合一起进行配制。活性成分也可以包含于由聚合物组成的极小微胶囊中。微胶囊将活性成分包含在多孔载体中。这使活性成分以控制量(例如缓释)释放进入它们的环境中。微胶囊通常具有从0.1至500微米的直径。它们以胶囊重量的约25至95%的量包含活性成分。活性成分能够以整块固体形式、以固体或液体悬浮液中的微粒形式或以适合的溶液形式存在。形成胶囊的膜包括,例如,天然的和合成的树脂、纤维素、苯乙烯-丁二烯共聚物、聚丙烯腈、聚丙烯酸酯、聚酯、聚酰胺、聚脲、聚氨酯或化学改性的聚合物和淀粉黄酸盐或在这方面本领域技术人员已知的其它聚合物。或者,对极小微胶囊来说,可能活性成分以细散颗粒形式存在于基础物质的固体基质中,但是在这种情况下微胶囊不是封闭的。

通常可以用于农药制剂的其它助剂包括结晶体抑制剂、粘度调节物质、悬浮剂、染料、抗氧化剂、起泡剂、吸光剂、混合助剂、消泡剂、络合剂、中和或pH-调节物质和缓冲剂、腐蚀抑制剂、香料、润湿剂、吸收改良剂、微量营养素、增塑剂、助流剂、润滑剂、分散剂、增稠剂、抗冻剂、杀微生物剂以及液体和固体肥料。
制剂还可以包含其它活性物质,例如其它除草剂、除草剂安全剂、植物生长调节剂、杀真菌剂或杀线虫剂。
本发明的组合物另外可以包含添加剂,所述添加剂包含植物或动物来源的油类、矿物油、上述油类或上述油类和油类衍生物的混合物的烷基酯。用于本发明组合物的油类添加剂的量通常为基于喷雾混合物重量的0.01至10%。例如,油类添加剂可以在喷雾混合物已经制备好之后以要求的浓度加入喷雾器中。优选的油类添加剂包括矿物油或植物源油类,例如菜籽油、橄榄油或向日葵油,乳化植物油,例如AMIGO(-Poulenc Canada Inc.),植物源油类的烷基酯,例如甲基衍生物,或者动物源油类,例如鱼油或牛油。例如,优选的添加剂基本上包含作为活性成分的按重量计80%的鱼油烷基酯和按重量计15%的甲基化菜籽油,以及按重量计5%的常规乳化剂和pH调节剂。特别优选的油类添加剂包括C8-C22脂肪酸烷基酯,尤其是C12-C18脂肪酸的甲基衍生物,例如月桂酸、棕榈酸和油酸的甲基酯是重要的。那些酯已知为月桂酸甲酯(CAS-111-82-0)、棕榈酸甲酯(CAS-112-39-0)和油酸甲酯(CAS-112-62-9)。优选的脂肪酸甲基酯衍生物是Emery2230和2231(Cognis GmbH)。
油类添加剂的应用和作用可以通过将其于表面活性物质,例如非离子、阴离子或阳离子表面活性剂联合而进一步改善。适合的阴离子、非离子和阳离子表面活性剂的实例列于WO97/34485的第7、8页上。优选的表面活性物质是十二烷基苯磺酸盐类型的阴离子表面活性剂,特别是其钙盐,以及脂肪醇乙氧基化物类型的非离子表面活性剂。特别优选的是具有5至40乙氧基化度的乙氧基化C12-C22脂肪醇。市售表面活性剂的实例为Genapol型(Clariant AG)。还优选硅氧烷表面活性剂,尤其是聚烷基-氧化-改性七甲基三硅氧烷,其为市售的例如像Silwet L-77,以及全氟表面活性剂。表面活性物质相对于全部添加剂的浓度通常为按重量计1至30%。包含油类或矿物油或其混合物和表面活性剂的油类添加剂的实例为Edenor ME SU、Turbocharge(Syngenta AG,CH)和Actipron(BP Oil UK Limited,GB)。
所述表面活性物质还可能在制剂中单独使用,也就是不含油类添加剂。
此外,向油类添加剂/表面活性剂混合物中加入有机溶剂能够有助于进一步增强作用。适合的溶剂为,例如,Solvesso(ESSO)和Aromatic Solvent(Exxon公司)。所述溶剂的浓度可以为按重量计总重量的10至80%。所述油类添加剂,可能是溶剂混合物,在例如US-A-4834908中描述。其中公开的市售油类添加剂已知名为MERGE(BASF公司)。根据本发明,其它优选的油类添加剂为SCORE(Syngenta Crop Protection Canada)。
除了上面所列的油类添加剂,为了增强本发明组合物的活性,还可能加入烷基吡咯烷酮的制剂(例如Agrimax)。合成乳胶的制剂,例如,聚丙烯酰胺、聚乙烯化合物或聚-1-对-薄荷烯(例如Bond、Courier或Emerald)也可以使用。包含丙酸的溶液,例如EurogkemPen-e-trate,也可以作为活性增强剂混入喷雾混合物中。
除草制剂通常包含按重量计0.1至99%,尤其是按重量计0.1至95%的式I化合物,和按重量计1至99.9%的制剂助剂,所述助剂优选包含按重量计0至25%的表面活性物质。虽然商品优选配制成浓缩物,但是最终用户将通常使用稀释制剂。

通过使用本发明的组合物处理草坪草、其所在地、或其种子的方法,本发明的组合物可被用于草坪草或其种子。在本发明的所述实施方案中,本发明的组合物优选通过喷雾或撒布施用至草坪草。最优选地,组合物以颗粒剂的形式使用。

在本发明的一个实施方案中,颗粒可以是肥料颗粒,或者包含至少一种肥料成分。
通常氮基肥料习惯用于草坪草管理,以对草供养并刺激生长。这些颗粒制剂提供更好的一致性和杂草防治谱,并且与式I化合物液施相比通常较少引起草坪草自身的损害或伤害。本发明特别有效的组合物是具有平均粒度为约0.5mm至2.5mm的颗粒组合物,特别是1mm至2mm。这些组合物优选地以干燥产品方式使用。
本发明的颗粒组合物可以使用任何方法制备。例如可以使用粘合剂/粘着剂将式I化合物粘附于肥料/惰性颗粒表面;加入干燥成分和液体的混合物中,然后挤出或模制成离散微粒;或者渗入到多孔颗粒中。制造颗粒组合物的更多方法在例如US2007/0021305中公开,特别是第3页上的实施例1。
本发明的颗粒组合物还可能包含一种或多种如下所述的安全剂。特别地,安全剂可能选自解草酯、cyprosulfamide、双苯噁唑酸、氟嘧磺隆和式2.3的化合物
适合地,安全剂为cyprosulfamide或式2.3的化合物。
为了在预期地表面,例如高尔夫球场、运动场、公园地区或家庭草坪上保持高质量的、健康的草坪草,可以将本发明的组合物在草坪草养护期间对草坪草施用一次或一次以上。
优选地,在草坪草生长季节期间对草坪草使用一次或一次以上本发明的组合物。
应用至草坪草所在地
可以通过使用本发明的组合物处理草坪草所在地而将本发明的组合物应用至草坪草。例如本发明的组合物可以在草坪草的种子播种或埋入土壤前后施用至土壤;或者本发明的额组合物可以在草坪草的种子埋入基质前后施用至基质;或者本发明的组合物可以在草坪草种植在基质上并与基质一起放置在土壤上面之前施用至土壤。
应用至草坪草的种子
可以通过使用本发明的组合物处理种子而将本发明的组合物施用至草坪草的种子。
当本发明的组合物用于处理种子时,通常每kg种子0.001至50g的式I化合物,优选每kg种子0.01至10g的式I化合物的用量是足够的。
应用至HPPD耐受的草坪草
本发明的组合物和方法可以应用至HPPD耐受的草坪草。可以通过使用天然特性的常规育种方法,或通过遗传工程方法使草坪草变得耐受HPPD抑制除草剂。已经通过遗传工程方法变得耐受除草剂或一类除草剂的作物的实例包括市售的商品名为RoundupReady和LibertyLink的草甘膦和草丁膦耐受玉米品种。草坪草中的HPPD耐受性可能与其它需要的特性一起堆叠,例如对其它除草剂(例如草甘膦)的耐受性,或抵抗昆虫取食(参见实例WO2007/027828)。
根据本发明,提供了式I化合物在HPPD耐受草坪草中防治杂草的用途。
与其它化合物结合应用
本发明的组合物的方法可以与其它化合物结合应用。超过一种化合物的混合物的应用可能是合乎需要的,因为这可以节省操作人员相当多的时间。例如,组合物可能包含一种或多种其它除草剂、杀昆虫剂、杀真菌剂或植物生长调节剂。辅助除草剂可以包括其它HPPD抑制剂,例如硝草酮,或具有不同作用方式的除草剂,例如ACCase抑制剂或光系统II抑制剂。本领域技术人员熟悉这种需要,以确保化合物适于同时应用。

实施例B1:式I化合物的选择性萌发后除草作用
式I化合物在草坪中的选择性(除去茂盛的阔叶杂草)已经在选自草地早熟禾、高羊茅草和黑麦草的草坪草品种,以及选自苜蓿(侵略性多年生杂草)和蒲公英(多年生园艺作物和栽培花木的杂草,也可能在一些一年生作物中成为问题,特别是在减少耕作法实施的情况下)的窄叶杂草中进行了测试。
试验在野外条件下,在Champaign,IL,U.S.(表B1.1)和Hudson,NY,U.S.(表B1.2)进行。草坪草维持在约2.5”高度,类似家庭草坪。存在混合的草坪和杂草株。使用CO2加压背包式喷雾器通过以水悬浮液形式(从可湿性粉剂制备而来)以210至280g/ha的浓度进行喷雾来应用测试化合物。随后像需要的那样对区块进行整割并灌溉。分别在22和28天之后,对测试进行外观评价(100%=植物全部受损害;0%=对植物没有损害)。结果在表B1.1和B1.2中给出。

实施例B3:通过颗粒剂应用测试式I化合物的植物毒性
测试式I化合物对草坪草品种的植物毒性。通过在萌发后将式I的颗粒制剂以两种用量应用至草坪草品种来应用化合物。所有处理在用药后1天内进行灌溉。在不同时间点采集植物毒性评定百分数。结果列于表B3.1至B3.4中。
制造并测试两种颗粒制剂。颗粒剂A是惰性颗粒制剂,包含99.06wt%DG Lite 150颗粒、0.14wt%式I化合物、0.50wt%Sunspray6N和0.30wt%HiSil 233。将式I化合物加至DG Lite颗粒,并在Continental Rollo-混合器中搅拌。然后将Sunspray 6N喷雾在颗粒上,并且加入HilSil以干燥多余的液体并且提高颗粒流动性。将颗粒在混合器中搅拌20-30分钟直到均匀为止,并且通过-12/+60筛孔以除去过大和尺寸不足的粒子。

Claims (10)
1.防治草坪草中杂草的方法,其包括对草坪草、其所在地或其种子施用除草有效量的式I化合物
或包含所述化合物的组合物,其中所述化合物或组合物以液体喷雾制剂的形式应用。
2.根据权利要求1的方法,其中草坪草是HPPD耐受的。
3.根据权利要求1的方法,其中组合物进一步包含对抗除草剂有效量的安全剂。
4.根据权利要求3的方法,其中安全剂选自解草酯、cyprosulfamide、双苯唑酸、氟嘧磺隆和式2.3的化合物
5.根据权利要求4的方法,其中安全剂为cyprosulfamide。
6.根据权利要求4的方法,其中安全剂为式2.3的化合物
7.根据权利要求3至6中任一项的方法,其中除草剂与安全剂的比率为20∶1至1∶1。
8.根据权利要求3至6中任一项的方法,其中草坪草是暖季草坪草品种。
9.选择性液体除草组合物,其包含作为活性成分的下列物质的混合物
a)除草有效量的式I化合物,
和
b)对抗除草剂有效量的cyprosulfamide。
10.式I化合物
在HPPD耐受草坪草中防治杂草的用途,其中所述化合物以液体喷雾制剂的形式应用。
