Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of communication, in particular to a technology for realizing the indication of call timing in a color ring back tone service process.
Background
With the increasing popularity of multimedia technology in the field of mobile terminals, the demand of consumers for mobile terminal ring back tones has also risen from common voice ring back tones to personalized ring back tones with audio, video, text and other combinations, which are simply referred to as multimedia ring back tones. In order to meet the demands of consumers, operators all over the world have come to put forward ideas for realizing multimedia color ring back tone services respectively.
At present, the multimedia coloring ring back tone service is mainly implemented based on a bridging technology and a non-bridging technology.
The main idea of the solution for implementing multimedia ring back tone service based on Bridge or Trombone Mode technology is: when a calling party calls a called party, as long as the called party subscribes a multimedia color ring back tone service, a calling switch routes a speech path to a multimedia color ring back tone platform, and the multimedia color ring back tone platform is bridged (bridged) between the calling switch and the called switch. When the called party rings idle, the multimedia color ring platform and the calling terminal negotiate the terminal capability and then play the multimedia color ring to the calling user, when the called party picks up the phone, the multimedia color ring platform stops playing the multimedia color ring, and then negotiates the terminal capability with the called party, and then the multimedia color ring platform is bridged between the calling and called exchangers, thereby bridging the video call between the calling party and the called party.
The main idea of the solution for realizing the color ring back tone service based on the non-Drop-Out (Drop-Out) technology is as follows: when a calling party calls a called party and the called party subscribes a multimedia color ring back tone service, a calling exchanger does not immediately route a speech path to a multimedia color ring back tone platform, but finds a called visiting exchanger according to a normal calling flow; when the called party rings idle, the calling exchanger initiates a call request to the multimedia color ring platform to establish a speech path so as to play the multimedia color ring, and after the speech path is established, the multimedia color ring platform and the calling terminal perform terminal capability negotiation (a first H.245 process) and then play the multimedia color ring for the calling party; when the called party is off-hook, the playing of the multimedia coloring ring back tone is stopped at the moment, the calling switch connects the call path between the calling terminal and the called terminal, the calling terminal and the called terminal perform terminal capability negotiation (the second H.245 process), and then the calling and called parties can perform video call.
As can be seen from the above, in the scheme for implementing the color ring back tone service based on the non-bridging technology, the calling terminal device needs to perform a process of performing two terminal capability negotiations (the second h.245 process) in one call, but the existing terminal generally does not have the capability, so that the terminal device needs to be specially modified, the implementation difficulty is high, and the development period is long. In the scheme for realizing the color ring back tone service based on the cross-over technology, the calling terminal device is not required to carry out two times of terminal capability negotiation in one call, so that the requirement for terminal modification is low, even the terminal is not required to carry out special modification, and therefore, the cross-over scheme is a more common choice in the initial development stage of the service, especially when the service needs to be released in a short time.
The present invention provides a method for playing color ring service based on cross-over technology, which sends a connection message to a calling party terminal through a calling party MSC (Mobile Switching Center, i.e. a calling party switch) to contact a calling party terminal and a multimedia color ring platform (i.e. a color ring server) to perform terminal capability negotiation so as to play multimedia color ring, specifically as follows: when the called terminal rings, the multimedia color ring platform sends a preset signaling to the calling party switch; the calling party exchanger identifies the preset signaling, sends a Connect message to the calling terminal and informs the calling terminal to start the call; the calling terminal and the multimedia color ring platform carry out terminal capability negotiation; and after the terminal capability negotiation is finished, the multimedia color ring platform establishes a multimedia color ring link with the calling terminal, and plays the multimedia color ring customized by the called terminal to the calling terminal through the link.
In the method, although the calling terminal can perform terminal capability negotiation to play multimedia coloring ring after receiving a connection message sent by a calling party switch, the connection message is used for informing the calling terminal to start a call in a call process, so that the calling terminal can consider that the call with a called party starts at the moment, and a prompt graph or text information for starting the call and indicating that the call is performed is displayed on an interface (for example, information of 'in call' or 'call XX seconds' is displayed on terminal equipment); if the user sets the call report function on the terminal device, the time in the call report includes the time for playing the multimedia coloring ring back tone when the call is finished hanging up, obviously, the problem of inaccurate timing display caused by the method for realizing the coloring ring back tone service based on the cross-over technology can cause the calling user to mistakenly think that the call is started when the multimedia coloring ring back tone is played, and the user experience is influenced.
Disclosure of Invention

and the network side informs the calling terminal of the information of starting the call with the called party and instructs the calling terminal to start the call timing.
An embodiment of the present invention further provides a network device, which includes:
the information obtaining unit is used for obtaining the called off-hook after obtaining that the called party is idle and playing the color ring back tone service to the calling party, and determining that the calling terminal starts to talk with the called terminal according to the information of the called off-hook;
and the notification unit is used for notifying the information for starting the call with the called party, which is determined by the information acquisition unit, to the calling terminal and instructing the calling terminal to start call timing.
An embodiment of the present invention further provides a terminal device, where the terminal device includes:
the information obtaining unit is used for obtaining the information of starting the communication with the called party according to the notification of the network side;
and the execution unit is used for prompting the information of starting the call with the called party to a user and starting the call timing according to the indication of starting the call timing of the network side.
It can be seen from the above technical solutions provided in the embodiments of the present invention that, in the method for implementing a color ring back tone service based on a cross-over technology provided in the embodiments of the present invention, since the network side learns that a called party is idle and plays a color ring back tone service to a calling party, and learns that the called party is off-hook, and notifies the calling terminal of information of starting a call with the called party, so as to instruct the calling terminal to start displaying the call at this time, the embodiments of the present invention can solve the problem of "inaccurate timing display" brought by implementing a multimedia color ring back tone service based on a cross-over technology, thereby improving user experience.
In addition, in the network device provided by the embodiment of the invention, after the information obtaining unit obtains that the called party is idle and plays the color ring back tone service to the calling party, and obtains that the called party is off-hook, the informing unit informs the calling terminal of the information of starting the call with the called party to indicate that the calling terminal starts displaying the call at the moment, so that the calling terminal starts displaying the call according to the notification of the network device.
In addition, in the terminal device provided by the embodiment of the present invention, the information obtaining unit obtains information for starting a call with a called party according to a notification from the network side; the execution unit prompts the information of starting the call with the called party to the user and starts the call timing according to the indication of starting the call timing at the network side, so the embodiment of the invention can solve the problem of inaccurate timing display caused by realizing the multimedia color ring service based on the cross-over technology, thereby improving the user experience.

Detailed Description
In view of the above-mentioned deficiencies in the bridging scheme, a first embodiment of the present invention provides a method for indicating call timing in a color ring back tone service process, where after a network side learns that a called ring is not answered, the first embodiment notifies a calling terminal of a message of "start playing multimedia color ring back tone" by using an h.245 control message to indicate that the calling terminal needs to stop timing, and prompts the message of "start playing multimedia color ring back tone"; after the network side knows the called party is off-hook, the information of 'starting to talk with the called party' is notified to the calling terminal by using the H.245 control message so as to indicate that the calling terminal needs to start timing when the calling starts.
The implementation flow of the first embodiment is shown in fig. 1, and includes the following contents:
step 101, a calling terminal calls a called terminal, and the called terminal rings.
Step 102, the network side learns that the ringing of the called terminal is not answered, and notifies the information of 'start playing multimedia ring back tone' to the calling terminal by using the H.245 control message.
Step 102 may be implemented by a color ring server on the network side, or may be implemented by a switch of the calling party.
And 103, the calling terminal sends a corresponding prompt to the user according to the notification of the network side.
And the calling terminal displays corresponding prompt information to the user through a human-computer interface according to the notification of the network side, or sends corresponding prompt tone to the user through a loudspeaker. For example: the prompt information of playing multimedia coloring ring back tone is displayed on the screen of the terminal equipment to the user, or the prompt information of clicking is sent out through the loudspeaker of the terminal equipment to prompt the user, so that the user is prevented from misunderstanding that the user is talking with the called party at the moment.
And 104, the network side learns the called off-hook and informs the information of 'starting to talk with the called' to the calling terminal by using the H.245 control message.
Step 104 may be implemented by a color ring server on the network side, or may be implemented by a switch of the calling party.
And 105, the calling terminal sends a corresponding prompt to the user according to the notification of the network side.
And the calling terminal displays corresponding prompt information to the user through a human-computer interface according to the notification of the network side, or sends corresponding prompt tone to the user through a loudspeaker. For example: prompt information such as the word "start talking with the called party" is displayed on the terminal screen or a click is made through the terminal speaker to prompt the user, thereby timely notifying the user that the talking with the called party is started.
Because the h.245 control message in the video call process is equivalent to the keyboard key information sent by the user in the video call process, in order to prevent the user from possibly manually keying to send corresponding information in the video call process, the h.245 control message with the content of CC (two english characters C) may be adopted in the first embodiment, and carries the information of "start to talk with the called" to indicate the calling terminal to stop timing and display the multimedia polyphonic ringtone being played; h.245 control information with the content of CD (English characters C and D) is adopted, and information of 'starting playing multimedia coloring ring back tone' is carried, so that the calling terminal is indicated to start timing when the call starts. The h.245 control message with the content of "CC" and the h.245 control message with the content of "CD" are special messages that the user cannot send out through the keys of the keyboard.
Accordingly, the calling terminal needs to modify (or add) an existing (or newly added) functional module for processing the "h.245 control message" so that the calling terminal can process and identify the h.245 control message with CC and CD contents, understand the specific meaning of the h.245 control message, and give a corresponding prompt to the user through the man-machine interface of the terminal.
Because the H.245 control message in the video call process is equivalent to the keyboard key information sent by the user in the video call process, the H.245 control message for identifying and processing the specific content only needs to carry out a small-amplitude modification work on a functional module or a program for processing the keyboard key information in the application software at the upper layer of the terminal, and does not need to modify a terminal communication protocol stack or terminal system software at the bottom layer of the terminal, so that a common terminal manufacturer with primary development capability can complete the corresponding modification work. To sum up, the first embodiment has the characteristic of easy implementation, and can implement a cross-over scheme while having minimal impact on the terminal and the mobile communication network.
A specific application of the first embodiment of the present invention is given below, and the application involves the following entities: a calling UE (User Equipment, User terminal) a, a Multimedia Ring Back Tone (MSC Server) A, MRBT platform (also called color Ring platform), a called terminal UE B, a switch MSC Server B of a called side, and a home location register HLR B of the called side. In the application, after the multimedia color ring platform finishes the terminal capability negotiation, a specific H.245 control message is sent out to indicate the terminal to stop and start timing. The MRBT forwards the BICC IAM message to the MSC Server B.
Step 209-step 210, the MSC Server B pages the Paging message to the called UE B, and the UE B returns a Paging _ ack message to the MSC Server B.
Step 211-step 212, the MSC Server B sends a Setup message to the UE B. UE B returns a Call Confirmed message to MSC Server B.
The called party starts ringing.
In step 213, UE B sends Alerting message to MSC Server B.
Step 214, the called MSC Server B returns BICC ACM (address complete) to the multimedia ring back platform side, where the user status is idle.
Step 215, the multimedia ring back tone platform sends back BICC ACM message to the calling MSC Server A side, wherein the message carries the relevant information for setting up the bearer channel, so as to carry out the process of setting up the bearer channel between the calling MSC Server A and the multimedia ring back tone platform.
Step 216, the calling MSC Server a sends Alerting message to the calling user terminal, which carries the information of the called idle ring.
Step 217, the calling MSC Server A sends a Connect message to the calling user terminal; and instructing the calling user terminal to perform H.245 media negotiation to establish the connection of the video call.
In step 218, the calling subscriber terminal returns Connect _ ack to the calling MSC Server a.
In step 219, the calling terminal and the multimedia ring back tone platform perform h.245 media negotiation to establish a connection for video call.
Step 220, after the h.245 connection is established, the multimedia coloring ring back tone platform immediately sends out an h.245 message carrying the content CC, and instructs the terminal to stop timing.
Step 221, the calling terminal stops timing and sends out the prompt information for starting playing the multimedia coloring ring back tone customized by the called terminal.
Step 222, the called user answers the incoming call (answer), and sends Connect message to the called MSC Server B through the called terminal to establish a bearer channel.
Step 223, the called MSC Server B sends BICC ANM (Answer Message) to the multimedia ring back tone platform side.
The called MSC Server B returns Connect _ ack to the called subscriber, step 224.
Step 225, the multimedia color ring platform sends BICC ANM to MSC Server A, indicating the calling exchanger user has responded, and starting charging.
In step 227, the called terminal and the multimedia ring back tone platform perform h.245 media negotiation to establish a connection for video call. And simultaneously, the multimedia color ring platform stops playing the multimedia color ring to the calling terminal and connects the calling and called audio and video channels. The calling party and the called party start a video call.
And then, carrying out related processes of calling and called calls and off-hook:
step 228, the calling party and the called party carry out the video telephone conversation process;
229-230, after the called party hangs up, the H.245 process is firstly removed between the calling and called terminals;
in steps 231 to 240, the called terminal notifies the called MSC Server to tear down the call by sending a Disconnect message, the called MSC Server sends an REL (Release) message to the calling MSC Server, and then the called MSC Server releases the channel with the called terminal by the REL message in step 233 and the RLC (Release Completion) message in step 234, and at the same time, the calling MSC Server notifies the calling terminal to Release the channel with the calling terminal by steps 235, 236, 238, 239, and 240, so that the whole call process is ended.
The above application is described by taking the core network using BICC control signaling as an example, but the embodiment of the present invention is not limited to using BICC control signaling, and may also be implemented by using other control signaling, for example, using ISUP (ISDN User Part) control signaling.
The H.245 control message is a control message of 3G-324M protocol, and the H.245 connection refers to a video telephone channel established according to the 3G-324M protocol.
The second embodiment of the present invention provides a second method for indicating call timing in the process of implementing color ring back tone service, and the second embodiment notifies the information of 'start playing multimedia color ring back tone' to the calling terminal by using Facility message after the network side knows that the called ring is not answered, so as to indicate that the calling terminal needs to stop timing and prompt the information of 'start playing multimedia color ring back tone'; after the network side knows that the called party is off-hook, the information of 'starting to talk with the called party' is notified to the calling terminal by using Facility information so as to indicate that the calling terminal needs to start timing when the calling starts to talk.
