Abstract

本发明涉及一种高性能低成本净终成形用热作模具钢领域,其化学成分按重量wt%含有:C:0.30~0.45、Si:0.4~1.0、Mn:0.55~1.0、Cr:2.7~3.5、Mo:1.8~2.6、V:0.6~1.2、N:0.005~0.05,其余为Fe。本发明添加兼有固溶强化、弥散强化以及细化晶粒和抑制M23C6碳化物颗粒聚集长大的合金元素,使其达到高的热强性、热稳定性与热疲劳抗力的同时,又保持良好的韧性与工艺性能,其主要性能显著优于目前国内外工业常用的H13(4Cr5MoSiV1)等同类热作模具钢。本发明在含3%Cr、5%Cr和10%Cr类型钢的基础上,系统研究了单加或复加不同含量W、Mo、V在不同温度条件下对组织性能和使用性能的影响外,还深入研究了N、Al和稀有金属元素的影响规律;研究发现本类型钢的热稳定性与其中形成的碳化物点阵类型密切相关,且随着碳化物形成元素的原子半径增加而提高。从而为发展新型热作模具钢提供了重要的启示。

Description

一种高性能低成本热作模具钢
技术领域
本发明涉及高性能低成本近净成形用热作模具钢领域。
背景技术
高性能低成本近净成形用热作模具材料是实现制造业现代化的基础与核心之一,其发展水平是衡量一个国家制造业水平高低的主要指标,是推动先进近净成形发展的主要技术。因此,发展以高技术含量、高附加值、高智力密集型为表征的上述材料的核心技术对促进模具材料行业技术进步,提高模具材料产品的国际竞争力,均具有十分重大的经济意义和社会公益效果。
近净成形制件的精度与使用寿命主要取决于模具的红硬性、耐磨性和热疲劳性。在一定化学成分下,钢的耐磨性主要随着钢的硬度、强度和红硬性的增大而提高,要具有较高的红硬性即马氏体在高温下长期回火时具有较高的稳定性;热疲劳抗力是表征材料热疲劳裂纹萌生前的工作寿命和萌生后的扩展速率,随着材料高温屈服强度和断裂韧性的提高,其萌生疲劳裂纹抗力、疲劳裂纹临界扩展抗力以及裂纹失稳扩展抗力亦随之增加。
发明内容
本发明在创制净终成形新一代热作模具钢的合金化及其强化方法与下列几个过程密切相关。
1.C、N间隙原子的固溶强化:碳的过饱和度越低,则基体硬度降低越多,即钢的强度与耐磨性能越差,但过多的碳进入固溶体,使M2C原子比例减少,从而使高温下抗回火稳定性降低并引起脆性与热疲劳裂纹。根据计算与试验,本发明钢中的含碳量0.30~0.55较为合适。氮的加入可起到兼有增强的固溶强化以及形成高稳定性的碳氮化合物的析出强化,可延缓M23C6类型碳化物析出的作用,明显提高其热强性和耐磨性。
2.合金碳化物(或其他起同样作用的第二相)的析出,第二相产生沉淀硬化硬度越高,硬化作用越不易受温度升高而消失,其比容及晶格类型与母相相差越大,则越具有高的回火稳定性。本发明中加入适量V、N元素所形成的VC、V4C3和M(C、N)等细小弥散颗粒,能与基体保持共格性联系,提高了它的抗聚集能力和抗滑移变形能力,增加了钢的高温强度和热稳定性。
3.回火马氏体中合金含量对它的物理状态特别是α相再结晶过程有着重要的影响,对钢的抗回火稳定性也起着不可忽视的作用。钢的再结晶温度越高,则α相在淬火及脱溶分解时遭到与范型形变有关的硬化能保持到更高的稳度。因此,在本发明钢中含有足够能提高再结晶温度的合金元素相;此外,钼还能增加淬透性、提高抗热疲劳性能,但过高的钼含量也促进了脱碳倾向性并增加了热处理的敏感性。诚然,钨、钼都能增强铁的原子结合键,并对碳的扩散能起到很大阻碍作用,但钨的缺点是降低冷热疲劳抗力且随着钨含量的提高增加淬火钢的铁素体含量。为此,本发明钢通过实验采用单加钼的方法。
4.关于铬对热作模具钢热稳定性能的影响,目前还没有一致的看法,但铬能提高钢的高温抗氧化性能且能增加热塑性,这种作用在强度大于1400Mpa的高强模具钢中尤为显著。不同铬含量对模具钢强度和韧性的影响如附图。

此外,加入钢中的合金元素不仅要提高钢的红硬性、耐磨性和抗冷热疲劳能力,还要求有良好的工艺性能,其中在模具工作温度范围内不发生相变仍具有很大意义,这就要求加入的合金元素能显著提高Ac1温度,缩小Ac1与Ac3温度间距离,从而使本发明钢具有高的热稳定性能的同时还减弱热处理工艺的敏感性。
根据上述目的和整体技术方案,本发明具体的技术方案为:
本发明钢按照重量百分比由以下元素组成:C:0.30~0.55%,Si:0.4~1.0%,N:0.005~0.05%,S≤0.03%,P≤0.03%,Mn:0.55~1.0%,Cr:2.7~3.5%,Mo:1.8~2.6%,V:0.6~1.2%,其余为Fe及不可避免的杂质。
本发明钢已通过某高速模锻压力机用模具的使用考核,并可应用于压铸铝镁合金、铝合金挤压等模具。本发明的钢具有以下优点:
1.性价比高,综合考虑了各种工况条件对模具性能的要求。与目前工业常用的H13、3Cr2W8V等钢相比,在保证强度不下降情况下,塑韧性均有不同程度提高,抗疲劳性能优异;与HM1、HM3等高端模具材料相比,性能相当,但成本降低很多。
2.使用寿命优异。用作高速模锻机、铝合金挤压机用模具上后,经现场检验表明,使用寿命较H13、3Cr2W8V等有较大幅度提高。
3.钢种的生产制备工艺简单。与传统模具钢制备工艺相比,采用电弧炉+LF精炼+电渣重熔或中频+电渣均可生产,热加工等生产工艺易于控制掌握,制品质量及组织性能达到规定要求。
具体实施方式
下面结合具体实施实例来进一步说明本发明。
发明实施例
1、本发明所述的面向未来高性能低成本热作模具钢通过变革成分配置和优化制备工艺实现高性能低成本。其制备方法为:(1)冶炼及合金化:电炉或转炉冶炼至化学成分范围符合要求,出钢,炉外精炼,经真空除气处理使气体含量达国标要求,而后经电渣重熔处理使S、P等非金属夹杂物含量达国标要求;(2)锻造及退火:电渣锭锻造工艺为:1130~1160℃加热,始锻温度为1050~1100℃,终锻温度≥850℃;锻造后等温退火:加热温度为840~870℃、保温4h,等温温度为720-740℃、保温6h,炉冷至500℃以下出炉空冷。
2、根据本发明钢种设计成分,采用EAF初炼-LF精炼-VD脱气-电渣重熔-锻造-热处理工艺路线,对试验用钢进行化学成分分析及力学性能检测。
本发明例与对比钢化学成分及比较见表1。
本发明钢与对比钢拉伸性能相比,室温拉伸性能与对比钢相当,高温拉伸性能显著优于对比钢。其具体性能数据对比见表2、表3。
本发明钢热稳定性能显著优于对比钢。其具体性能数据对比见表4。

1、一种高性能低成本热作模具钢,其特征在于,化学成分范围按重量百分比计为:C:0.30~0.55、Si:0.4~1.0、Mn:0.55~1.0、Cr:2.7~3.5、Mo:1.8~2.6、V:0.6~1.2、N:0.005~0.05,其余为Fe。
2、如权利要求1所述的高性能低成本模具钢,其特征在于相关的关键制备工艺。
