Abstract

本发明涉及轮槽填料或跑气安全圈,更具体地说,是带无线装置的圈,以便远距离判定该圈是在轮子上面。
轮槽填料或跑气安全圈是一类跑气安全圈系统,它可以向后安装在标准轮子上,以防止车胎压力降低时轮胎缘掉进轮槽内,这种压力降低可能是由于普通的车胎被扎而缓慢发生的,或由于爆胎而突然发生的。倘若轮缘掉进轮槽内,则车胎本身可能从轮子上脱落。嵌在轮槽内的跑气安全圈可以让轮胎缘在车胎压力下降时沿轮子横向运动,防止轮胎缘掉进轮槽内,从而将车胎锁定在轮子上,并确保轮辋和路面或地面之间总有橡胶存在。这样,就能更好地维持对驾驶、刹车和转弯的控制,并大大降低由于车胎跑气引起的事故。该系统能让驾驶员在跑气后继续开一会儿,到达可以换车胎的安全场地。车胎破裂之前能行走的距离与车速、转弯的大小和路面状况有关。由金属、塑料、或其组合制成的圈有不同的结构,但基本上都是由一部分或几部分圆环组成,其宽度等于轮槽的宽度,且有一些凹坑或嵌入物靠在轮槽的底部,以将该圈与轮子底部径向向外隔开。
但是,由于跑气安全圈是安装在轮槽内部,一旦装上车胎,就完全被掩盖在轮子里面,因而在更换车胎等之后不可能从外面检查这个圈是否装在轮子上。有些规定在某些类型车辆上要安装跑气安全圈的国家,很担心职能部门缺乏检查是否已安装跑气安全圈的快捷方法。
本发明提供一种带无线装置的轮槽填料或跑气安全圈,利用这种装置可以从远处进行询问,以确认在轮子上存在填料。
按照本发明的跑气安全圈或轮槽填料的优点是,可以通过简单的外部检查方便而可靠地判定跑气安全圈的存在,从而避免跑气安全圈脱出轮子的可能性。
无线装置最好用SAW传感器之类的无线传感器,并可以被安装在受压的安全圈间隔凹坑内,安装在装在安全圈上的托架上,或安装在安全圈的下面。在传感器上提供适当的天线,它可以径向伸入车胎腔体内。
在最优选的实施例中,这个无线传感器是压力和温度传感器,它提供车胎内压力和温度的远距离指示,可以进行询问以确认轮子上存在跑气安全圈,能确认在车胎跑气后是在跑气圈上运动,同时通过对温度的测量,显示车胎在跑气圈上运动时发生过热并可能破裂。
为更好了解本发明,现在参照附图对一些典型实施例加以说明,附图中:
图1A是传统跑气安全圈透视图;
图1B是轮子/车胎组件透视图,表示车胎跑气时可能在轮子上扭动;
图1C是安装了图1A的跑气安全圈的车胎剖视图;
图2至图4是安装在本发明的跑气安全圈内的三种无线传感器示意图。
参照图1A,这是业内很熟悉的跑气安全圈1,它被安装在轮槽内,以防止车胎运转过程中跑气时发生扭动。如图1B所示,当车胎2内的压力下降时,轮胎缘3可能沿轮子4的内表面滑动并掉进轮槽5内。这将进一步降低使另一个轮胎缘支托在轮辋上的拉力,造成车胎进一步扭动,结果将严重影响驾驶员对车辆的控制。
如图1C所示,跑气安全圈1被安装在轮子上以与轮槽相贴合。圈1有一些向内伸展的支柱6沿径向拧在轮槽5的内表面上,使得该圈伸出轮子的主内表面8,从而防止轮胎缘3沿轮子横向滑动。
现在参照图2,这是本发明第一种形式的跑气安全圈10,它上面装有无线询问式传感器11,通过此传感器可以判定轮子上是否存在圈10。传感器11安装在壳体12内,后者固定在相邻支柱对16之间圈10的径向内表面上。传感器和壳体的总厚度小于支柱16的高度,所以传感器不会靠在轮槽5的底面上。从传感器壳体12径向向外伸出天线13,它通过圈10并进入轮子和车胎之间的孔内。
在图3所示的另一种装置中,传感器21和壳体22安装在跑气安全圈20的一个支柱26内,天线23同样从传感器径向向外伸出,通过圈20并进入车胎腔体内。
图4是第三个实施例,其中传感器31和壳体32安装在托架37内,后者同样是固定在圈30的内表面上,并有一根天线径向向外穿过圈30。
应该把传感器安装在圈的内表面上,以便让圈保护它不受损伤。此外,天线也可以有不同的结构,包括将传感器电耦合到圈本身,以圈作为天线。
当按本专业技术人员熟知的方式发出询问时,传感器按程序发出响应,检测到响应信号就可判定轮子上存在圈。此传感器最好是SAW传感器,它与车胎内的空气流体联通,以便还能测量车胎的工作参数,如温度、压力等。因而,可以根据是否需要知道车胎的压力、温度、轮子是否在跑气圈上行走,当在跑气圈上行走时开得太快等,或者只要简单地判断圈的存在,把传感器做成能分别进行询问。但是,也可以根据检测到传感器发出的压力信号,说明传感器,因而安全圈,是存在的。

Claims (10)

1.跑气安全圈(1),包括可远距离询问的无线装置(11),根据询问该装置(11)检测到的响应信号,可以判断轮子上有填料存在。
2.如权利要求1的跑气安全圈,其中无线装置是无线传感器(11),尤其是SAW传感器。
3.如权利要求1或2的跑气安全圈,其中无线装置安装在圈上的间隔凹坑内。
4.如权利要求1或2的跑气安全圈,其中无线装置安装在与该圈相固定的托架上。
5.如权利要求1或2的跑气安全圈,其中无线装置安装在圈的下面,它在使用中径向向内朝向轮子中心。
6.如上述任一条权利要求的跑气安全圈,其中无线装置包括天线,它在使用中沿径向向外伸至车胎腔体内。
7.如上述任一条权利要求的跑气安全圈,其中无线装置包括压力和温度传感器,它提供车胎内的压力和温度的遥测数据,在使用中可询问该装置以确定在轮子上有轮槽填料存在,并且显示车胎在跑气后是在跑气圈上行走,同时显示车胎过热且很可能由于在跑气圈上行走而提前爆裂。
8.一种轮子组件,包括轮毂(4)和安装在它上面的车胎(2),以在其间形成气密室,以及按上述任一条权利要求的跑气安全圈(1),后者安装在轮毂的气密室内。
9.如权利要求8的轮子组件,其中跑气安全圈(1)安装在轮毂(4)的槽(5)内。
10.判定在如权利要求8的轮子组件上存在跑气安全圈的方法,包括以下步骤:在轮子组件地区发出询问信号,并监测从该无线装置发出的响应信号,检测到响应信号就可判定轮毂上存在跑气安全圈。
