Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及一种改进的电端子,具体而言,涉及一种用于将电端子固定在外壳内的改进的锁定结构。
背景技术
已有几种方法用于将电端子固定在外壳内。在电连接器的各种应用中,采用各种装置将端子锁定在位并确保它们处于电连接器内的正确位置。
某些电连接器设置有外壳,所述外壳具有在其中延伸的腔室,用于接收电端子。其中一种这样的固定方法提供与壳体内的台肩相抵靠的由电端子主体冲压而成(stamped-out)的闸刀(lance)。
发明内容
因而本发明的目的是在这些已知的连接系统上进行改进。
本发明的目的通过提供一种电端子实现,所述电端子包括主体,该主体包括将主体锁定在一壳体中的锁定构件。所述主体包括至少部分延伸通过所述主体的开口。所述锁定构件限定一锁定台肩,并且所述锁定部分穿过所述开口定位。所述锁定台肩得到所述主体支持。优选地,所述主体包括多个锁定部分和多个开口。
在另一实施例中,电端子包括:具有开口的主体;以及从所述主体延伸并至少部分地延伸出所述开口的锁定构件,其中所述锁定构件构成为倚靠(back up to)所述主体。所述锁定构件被一壳体偏压。在所述主体插入到壳体中的过程中,所述锁定构件从第一位置被偏压到朝向所述主体的中心的第二位置,而在进一步插入到所述壳体时返回到远离所述主体中心的第三位置。所述锁定构件延伸通过所述开口,并倚靠所述主体。所述锁定构件为拱形结构(arch),并设有抵靠所述壳体的构件。由于锁定构件抵靠所述壳体,所以所述电端子不能在纵向上相对所述壳体自由移动。
所述主体包括沿所述主体长度延伸的纵向接缝。所述拱形结构可横跨所述接缝。所述开口从所述锁定构件与所述主体相联合的地方横过所述主体。
在另一实施例中,所述主体进一步包括多个锁定构件、多个连接点、多个开口和多个远端。至少一个所述连接点构成为远离所述主体的相邻侧延伸,至少一个所述远端构成为朝所述主体的所述相邻侧延伸。至少一个所述远端在周向上比至少一个所述连接点具有更大的宽度。在一变型中,至少一个所述远端构成为在所述主体插入到所述壳体中的过程中倚靠所述主体。由于锁定构件抵靠所述壳体,所以所述电端子不能在纵向方向上相对所述壳体自由移动。在一变型中,至少一个所述远端通过至少一个所述开口位于所述主体的通道内。在另一变型中,至少一个所述远端没有通过至少一个所述开口位于所述主体的通道内。在另一变型中,至少一个所述开口由切除连接点和至少一个所述远端而限定出。
所述主体包括突起,所述突起构造成在所述主体插入到所述壳体内的过程中抵靠所述壳体的台肩,从而防止所述主体超过锁定位置进一步插入到所述壳体中。在一变型中,所述突起是肋,其中所述肋绕所述主体沿周向设置。

具体实施方式
首先参照图1,电端子示为2,其具有主体4、锁定构件6,限定出延伸通过开口10的锁定台肩8。锁定构件6可从主体4切割或冲压而成。锁定构件6可被弹性偏压形成拱形或梁结构。锁定构件6表示成为延伸通过开口10。如图2中最佳示出的,锁定台肩8邻近限定出开口10的主体4的前边缘11。
如图1所示,端子2由扁平坯料冲压形成,其中该扁平坯被卷成销结构,并且坯的侧边形成对接的纵向接缝34。还示出,锁定构件6由在主体4上形成有开口的坯冲压而成,之后锁定构件6形成为延伸通过开口10。
主体4进一步包括突起12。如图1所示,突起12表示成球茎状,但应理解,该突起可为从主体4切出或冲压出的突片(tab)。例如,参照图3,突起可为从主体4冲压出的突片12′的形式。
再次参照图1,主体4进一步包括接触抓取构件28、开口30、通道32和接缝34。接触抓取构件28限定出用于接触绝缘线的裸导体的线夹(wiretrap)。
现参照图4-6,端子示为14,其具有包括多个锁定构件18的主体16,所述锁定构件18具有多个梁部分20和多个锁定端22,并延伸通过同样多的开口24。梁部分20和锁定端22可由主体16切出或冲压出。如图4所示,端子14包括接触抓取构件28,而在图5中,端子14包括线箝连接29。
现参照图7,其中示出扁平坯料情况下的端子14的销端部。如所示,梁部分20和锁定端22在成形前由主体16冲压成。观察图6可发现,锁定端22比梁部分20宽,并且当冲压形成图5的结构时,锁定端邻近冲压形成的开口24的前边缘25。
具体地,锁定部分是通过拉伸和压缩梁部分20使得梁部分20比它们被冲压通过的开口更长而形成的。因此,当成形时,如图5和6所最佳示出的,锁定端22邻近边缘25,这有助于加强或支持锁定构件18的刚度。
同时,这些部分形成为使得它们朝内偏置时互相接触。如图8所示,锁定端朝内移动到梁部分接触的位置。但是,梁部分在锁定端延伸通过它们相应的开口24之前到达最低点。这防止锁定端被卡在端子体内部。当梁部分互相接触时,梁部分受到弹性回复力,迫使它们在压缩后返回通过开口24。这进一步防止在梁部分20和主体16的连接点根部应力过大。
在如上已经描述了各个构件的情况下,现将更详细地说明端子2的一个实施例的功能。以下说明的功能可同样适用于其它公开的实施例。
如图9所示,连接器壳体36被示出为具有腔室37,端子2或14中的任一个可定位到腔室37中。壳体36具有第一台肩38和第二台肩40。参照图10,端子2被示出为插入到壳体36,锁定台肩8(图2)抵靠第一台肩38,突起12抵靠台肩40。台肩8可通过边缘11变得刚性,从而加强端子2与壳体36的锁定啮合。
应理解图4-8的实施例可以相同的方式锁定至壳体37中,其中锁定端22邻近壳体表面38,并且突起26邻近表面40。尽管未示出,但应理解作为替代,锁定构件形成为使得梁20延伸于主体部分的外面,锁定端从外面伸入内部,形成另一种锁定台肩。

Claims (10)

1.一种电端子,包括:
具有开口的主体;以及
从所述主体延伸出并至少部分地延伸出所述开口的锁定构件,构成为倚靠所述主体。
2.根据权利要求1所述的电端子,其中,所述锁定构件构成为被一壳体偏压。
3.根据权利要求1所述的电端子,其中,在所述主体插入到一壳体中的过程中,所述锁定构件被朝向所述主体的中心从第一位置偏压到第二位置,而在进一步插入到所述壳体时返回偏离所述主体中心的第三位置。
4.根据权利要求1所述的电端子,其中,所述锁定构件延伸通过所述开口。
5.根据权利要求1所述的电端子,其中,所述主体进一步包括多个所述锁定构件、多个连接点、多个所述开口和多个远端。
6.根据权利要求5所述的电端子,其中,至少一个所述连接点远离所述主体的相邻侧延伸,至少一个所述远端朝向所述主体的所述相邻侧延伸,所述至少一个连接点与所述主体相联合,所述至少一个远端在周向上比所述至少一个连接点具有更大的宽度,在所述主体插入到所述壳体中的过程中,所述至少一个远端倚靠所述主体。
7.根据权利要求5所述的电端子,其中,所述多个锁定构件包括限位装置,以防止所述电端子的进一步插入。
8.根据权利要求5所述的电端子,其中,至少一个所述远端穿过至少一个所述开口位于所述主体的一通道内。
9.根据权利要求5所述的电端子,其中,至少一个所述开口由切除所述至少一个连接点和至少一个所述远端而限定出。
10.根据权利要求1所述的电端子,其中,所述主体包括突起,所述突起构造成在所述主体插入到壳体内的过程中抵靠所述壳体的台肩,从而防止所述主体超过锁定位置进一步插入到所述壳体中。
