Abstract

一种棱镜片,其包括第一表面及与该第一表面相对的第二表面,该第一表面形成有多个第一凸起,该第二表面形成有多个弯曲延伸的V型凸起。本发明还提供一种采用上述棱镜片的液晶显示装置。上述液晶显示装置具有亮度高且可避免叠纹干涉的优点。

Description

液晶显示装置及其棱镜片
技术领域
本发明涉及一种液晶显示装置及其棱镜片。
背景技术
请参见图1与图2,所示为一种现有的直下式液晶显示装置100,其包括一个框架11,在框架11的上方依次设置有多个光源12、一个扩散板13、一个棱镜片10及一个液晶面板15。其中,扩散板13一般含有扩射粒子,用以扩散光线。棱镜片10的出光面101上具有多个紧密相邻的长条状V型凸起102,用以汇聚出射光线。使用时,由多个光源12产生的光线进入扩散板13被均匀扩散后,其继续进入棱镜片10,在棱镜片10的长条状V型凸起102的作用下使出射光线发生一定程度的聚集作用,然后再入射液晶面板15,而使得液晶显示装置100在特定视角范围内具有较高的亮度。
然而,由于每个棱镜片10的长条状V型凸起102的结构通常是以直线的形式从棱镜片10的一端朝相对的另一端延伸,且各个长条状V型凸起102之间排列均匀而形成阵列,该阵列排布方向容易与液晶面板15像素的矩阵排布相重叠,而使得液晶显示装置100容易发生叠纹干涉(Morie Interference),从而影响液晶显示装置100的显示效果。
为避免叠纹干涉现象的发生,通常在该棱镜片10与液晶面板15之间还会设置一上扩散片14。上扩散片14也具有扩散光的作用,光线经过上扩散片14扩射后,可避免液晶显示装置100显示时有衍射条纹的产生。然而,光线在上扩散片14中传输时,部分光线会被上扩散片14吸收而损失;并且上扩散片14的使用还将增加光线在传输过程中的界面数量,从而增加光线传输的界面损失;因此上扩散片14的使用会减少光线的利用率,使液晶显示装置100的显示亮度降低,且相应增加材料成本。
发明内容
鉴于上述状况,有必要提供一种亮度高且可避免叠纹干涉的液晶显示装置及其棱镜片。
一种棱镜片,其包括第一表面及与该第一表面相对的第二表面,该第一表面形成有多个第一凸起,该第二表面形成有多个弯曲延伸的V型凸起。
一种液晶显示装置,其包括光源、扩散板、棱镜片及液晶面板;该扩散板、棱镜片及液晶面板依次设于该光源的上方,该棱镜片包括第一表面及与该第一表面相对的第二表面,该第一表面形成有多个第一凸起,该第二表面形成有多个弯曲延伸的V型凸起。
上述液晶显示装置的棱镜片的第一表面与第二表面皆包括有多个凸起,因此易于使通过该棱镜片的光线发生较高程度的聚集,从而提高液晶显示装置的亮度;并且由于该第二表面凸起为弯曲延伸的V型形状,因此其还易于与液晶面板像素的阵列排布相错开,从而避免叠纹干涉的产生。因此上述液晶显示装置具有亮度高且可避免叠纹干涉的优点。

具体实施例
下面将结合附图及实施例对本发明的液晶显示装置及其棱镜片作进一步的详细说明。
请参见图3,所示为本发明较佳实施例一的液晶显示装置200,其包括一个框架21、多个光源22、一个扩散板23、一个棱镜片20及一个液晶面板25。其中该多个光源22设置在该框架21内部。扩散板23、棱镜片20及液晶面板25依次设多个光源22的上方并盖住该框架21。
请同时参见图4,棱镜片20包括第一表面201及与第一表面201相对的第二表面203。第一表面201为入光面,其面向扩散板23。第二表面203为出光面,其与扩散板23相背而面向液晶面板25。第一表面201上形成有多个第一凸起202。第二表面203形成有多个弯曲延伸的V型凸起204。如图5所示,该多个V型凸起204沿多条近似平形的平滑曲线紧密排布。其中每个V型凸起204沿平滑曲线的方向从棱镜片20一端延伸至相对的另一端,从而形成一段圆弧形。每个弯曲延伸的V型凸起204的顶角可为60至120度,相邻的弯曲延伸的V型凸起204之间的中心间距可为0.025毫米至1毫米。
如图6所示,第一表面201的第一凸起202为长条状V型凸起。多个第一凸起202呈阵列状排布,且第一凸起202以直线的方式从棱镜片20一端延伸至相对的另一端。第一凸起202的顶角可为60至120度,相邻的第一凸起202之间的中心间距可为0.025毫米至1毫米。
框架21可将光源22产生的光线反射进入扩散板23,从而提高光线的利用率。框架21可由具有高反射率的金属或塑料制成,或其内表面涂布有高反射率涂层的金属或塑料制成。
光源22可为线光源或点光源,例如发光二极管与冷阴极荧光灯。
扩散板23用于使入射其中的光线发生扩散作用,从而提升出射光线的均匀性。
工作时,光源22发出的光线直接进入或通过框架21的作用进入扩散板23,在扩散板23的作用下,光线发生均匀扩散然后进入棱镜片20。棱镜片20的第一表面201的多个第一凸起202可增大第一表面201的表面积从而可接收更多的光线进入该棱镜片23;当光线从第二表面203出射时,多个弯曲延伸的V型凸起204也可以使在靠近垂直于棱镜片的方向聚集,因此通过棱镜片20可较高程度的发生聚集,继而可提高液晶显示装置200的显示亮度。并且,由于第二表面203的弯曲延伸的V型凸起204呈弯曲的形状(如弧形),因此易于与液晶面板25像素的矩阵排布相错开,从而减少或避免叠纹干涉现象的的发生。
请参见图7,所示为本发明较佳实施例二的棱镜片30。该棱镜片30与较佳实施例一的棱镜片20相似,其不同在于:棱镜片30的第二表面303中部的弯曲延伸的V型凸起304的形状为由两个圆弧形V型凸起304连接组合而形成的“S”形。
可以理解的是:上述棱镜片的第二表面的弯曲延伸的V型凸起还可为其他形状的弯曲,例如三个圆弧连接组合而成弯曲图形。第一表面上的第一凸起可以为V刑凸起外的其他形状,例如锥形凸起,锥台形凸起,甚至是与棱镜片的第二表面的弯曲延伸的V型凸起相似或相同的凸起形状。
另外,本领域技术人员还可在本发明精神内做其它变化,当然,这些依据本发明精神所做的变化,都应包含在本发明所要求保护的范围内。

Claims (10)

1.一种棱镜片,其包括第一表面及与该第一表面相对的第二表面,该第一表面形成有多个第一凸起,其特征在于:该第二表面形成有多个弯曲延伸的V型凸起
2.如权利要求1所述的棱镜片,其特征在于:每个V型凸起的延伸方向为沿弧形延伸或沿“S”形延伸。
3.如权利要求1所述的棱镜片,其特征在于:每个弯曲延伸的V型凸起的顶角为60至120度。
4.如权利要求1所述的棱镜片,其特征在于:相邻弯曲延伸的V型凸起的中心间距为0.025毫米至1毫米。
5.如权利要求1所述的棱镜片,其特征在于:该第一凸起为长条状V型凸起、锥形凸起及锥台形凸起的至少一种。
6.如权利要求1所述的棱镜片,其特征在于:该棱镜片的材料为聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯,聚碳酸酯,聚苯乙烯,苯乙烯甲基丙烯酸甲酯共聚物之一或其组合。
7.一种液晶显示装置,其包括光源、扩散板、棱镜片及液晶面板,该扩散板、棱镜片及液晶面板依次设于该光源的上方,该棱镜片包括第一表面及与该第一表面相对的第二表面,该第一表面形成有多个第一凸起,其特征在于:该第二表面形成有多个弯曲延伸的V型凸起。
8.如权利要求7所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于:该棱镜片的第一表面靠近该扩散板,第二表面靠近该液晶面板。
9.如权利要求7所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于:该第一凸起为长条状V型凸起。
10.如权利要求7所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于:该光源为点光源与线光源之一。
