具体实施方式
现在将对本发明的实施方式进行详细说明,在附图中例示了其示例,在所有附图中,相同的标号指代相同的部分。
这里采用的大部分术语(包括缩写)在IEEE 802.16-2004、IEEE802.16e-2005、IEEE 802.16-2005和IEEE 802.16j-06/026r2中进行了定义,在此通过引用并入其全部内容。
在IEEE 802.16e网络中,下行链路传输的第一个符号被称为前导码。该前导码被用户站(SS)用于进行诸如时间同步、载波频率估计、信道响应估计、小区和扇区识别等的测量和过程。根据前导码来进行这些测量和过程是公知的。
根据本发明的实施方式,可以将类似的导码引入到中继区,来实现与前导码类似的目的。
在IEEE 802.16e中规定了一组114个前导码的调制序列,在此通过引用并入其全部内容。所定义的该组前导码调制序列最初旨在用于接入区中。更具体地说,所定义的该组前导码调制序列最初旨在用于未采用中继站的网络中的基站(BS)和用户站(SS)之间。在这种网络中,在不使用中继站的情况下,用户站(SS)必须位于基站(BS)的通信范围之内。
中继区导码调制序列的一个选择是采用802.16e中定义的相同的前导码调制序列,即,在移动中继网络中的接入区中采用的前导码调制序列。然而,由于在接入区和中继区两者中使用相同的前导码调制序列,因此这种选择可能会导致出现问题,因为用户站(SS)可能会在一个帧中两次检测到相同的前导码。
根据本发明的实施方式,在IEEE 802.16网络的下行链路(DL)中继区中将采用一组新的导码调制序列PNi A,i=0,1,...,113。该新的导码调制序列与在IEEE 802.16-2005(在此通过引用并入其全部内容)中的8.4.6.1.1中规定的原始前导码调制序列PNi A,i=0,1,...,113相关,如以下等式所示:

其中,J取决于系统中采用的快速傅立叶变换(FFT)的大小。
可以容易地知道网络的FFT大小。更具体地说,IEEE 802.16网络具有相关FFT大小(根据该相关FFT大小对网络进行设计)。IEEE 802.16目前规定采用FFT大小例如为2048、1024或512的网络。然而,本发明并不限于FFT大小为2048、1024或512的网络。而是,网络可以具有不同的FFT大小。以上等式仍将适用于具有不同FFT大小的网络。然而,对于不同的FFT大小,J的值将不同。
J=(系统中定义的字符的数量)×(每字符的比特数)-n,其中,对于2048和1024的FFT大小,n=1,而对于512的FFT大小,n=2。
例如,在FFT大小为1024的802.16e网络中,存在71个字符,并且每个字符四比特。在该示例中,J=(71)×(4)-1=283。
此外,对于FFT大小为2048、1024和512的802.16网络,J分别等于567、283和142。
新导码组PNi A是原始前导码组的相反版本,可以被称为“相关导码调制序列”。
因此,图3是例示根据本发明的实施方式的导码调制序列的应用的示意图。现参照图3,在操作40中,在IEEE 802.16网络中提供导码调制序列PNi A,该导码调制序列根据以下等式与IEEE 802.16网络的前导码调制序列PNi,i=0,1,...,113相关:

其中,J取决于网络的快速傅立叶变换(FFT)的大小,并且例如对于2048、1024和512的FFT大小,J分别等于567、283和142。
在操作42中,在网络的下行链路中继区中使用导码调制序列。例如,移动中继基站(MR-BS)可以将导码调制序列插入到移动中继基站(MR-BS)在下行链路中继区中发送的帧中。类似的是,中继站(RS)可以将导码调制序列插入到中继站(RS)在下行链路中继区中发送的帧中。从而,导码调制序列可以被下级中继站(RS)用于进行诸如时间同步、载波频率估计、信道响应估计、小区和扇区识别等的测量和过程。
当然,本发明并不限于所执行的任何具体测量或过程。根据导码调制序列执行这些测量和过程类似于利用前导码执行这些测量,并且对于查看了此处的公开内容的本领域技术人员来说可以容易地理解。
基于以上等式,对于在IEEE 802.16-2005中的8.4.6.1.1中规定的原始前导码调制序列PNi,i=0,1,...,113,针对2048、1024和512的FFT大小,导码调制序列PAi A尸分别如在此公开的表1、表2和表3所示。根据以上等式可以容易地生成这些表。
此外,对于不同的前导码调制序列,该等式将针对各个FFT大小生成不同的导码调制序列。因此,本发明并不限于表1、表2和/或表3中所示的特定导码调制序列。
为了使用导码调制序列,可以向移动中继基站(MR-BS)或中继站(RS)提供特定的导码调制序列。例如,可以向移动中继基站(MR-BS)或中继站(RS)提供诸如表1、表2或表3的表,或者提供与表1、表2或表3中的信息相对应的信息。或者,可以向移动中继基站(MR-BS)或中继站(RS)仅提供各个移动中继基站(MR-BS)或各个中继站(RS)所需的导码调制序列中的特定导码调制序列。这些表或特定的值可以驻留在移动中继基站(MR-BS)或各个中继站(RS)中,或者可以驻留在网络中的其他地方并在需要时提供给各个移动中继基站(MR-BS)或各个中继站(RS),或者由各个移动中继基站(MR-BS)或各个中继站(RS)获得。在另一实施方式中,移动中继基站(MR-BS)或中继站(RS)可以根据以上等式来生成导码调制序列,或者从网络上的不同设备向移动中继基站(MR-BS)或中继站(RS)提供导码调制序列,该不同设备根据以上等式生成导码调制序列,并在需要时将所生成的导码调制序列提供给移动中继基站(MR-BS)或中继站(RS)。
因此,本发明的实施方式并不限于生成导码调制序列或将导码调制序列提供给移动中继基站(MR-BS)或中继站(RS)的任何具体方式。
该新的导码调制序列具有多个重要特性。例如,对于IEEE802.16-2005中定义的每一个前导码,有且仅有一个相关联的导码;因此对于网络部署中的新导码规划,不需要额外的工作。
并且,相关导码调制序列具有与原始前导码调制序列相同的自相关和互相关性能。该特性使得该相关导码组与原始前导码组工作得一样好。
此外,相关导码组具有比对应的前导码组更好(或相同)的峰均功率比(PAPR)。
此外,对于中继区中的导码,相关导码调制序列与原始前导码调制序列之间的互相关足够低。
并且,相关导码调制序列与对应的前导码序列具有简单的关系,并且易于实现。
在图4和图5中例示了相关导码调制序列的性能。
更具体地说,在图4中例示了对于1024的FFT大小,合并导码组(即,前导码组(编号从0至113)和相关导码组(编号从114至283))的自相关和互相关。
图5中例示了对于从0至113的导码索引,相关导码序列和对应的原始前导码序列之间的归一化(通过对于1024的FFT大小的自相关(即,284)进行该归一化)互相关。对于在下行链路(DL)中继区中的导码,新的导码组的性能看上去足够好。
图6是例示根据本发明的实施方式的采用导码调制序列的网络的示意图。现参照图6,该网络包括移动中继基站(MR-BS)50、中继站(RS)52和用户站(SS)54。用户站(SS)54例如可以是移动站。图6中的网络是两跳架构的示例,这是因为在移动中继基站(MR-BS)50和用户站(SS)54之间仅有一个中继站(RS)52。当然,本发明并不限于两跳架构或图6中示出的具体架构。
移动中继基站(MR-BS)50包括提供导码调制序列的码提供器56。码提供器56可以包括存储所需导码调制序列的存储器。另选的是,码提供器56可以是基于上述等式来生成导码调制序列的处理器。图6将码提供器56示出为包括在移动中继基站(MR-BS)50中。然而,本发明并不限于位于任何具体位置处的码提供器56。例如,码提供器56可以设置在网络中的不同实体中,并根据需要将所需的导码调制序列提供给移动中继基站(MR-BS)50。
移动中继基站(MR-BS)50将导码调制序列插入到下行链路帧中,并将该帧发送到中继站(RS)52。中继站(RS)52包括对插入到该下行链路帧中的导码调制序列进行解码的导码解码器57。然后中继站(RS)52根据经解码的导码调制序列来执行测量和测试。
图7是例示根据本发明的另一实施方式的采用导码调制序列的网络的示意图。现参照图7,该网络包括移动中继基站(MR-BS)50、中继站(RS)60和62以及用户站(SS)54。图7中的网络是多跳架构的示例,因为在移动中继基站(MR-BS)50和用户站(SS)54之间存在两个中继站(RS)60和62。在其他实施方式中,在移动中继基站(MR-BS)50和用户站(SS)54之间可以有提供附加的多跳的附加中继站。当然,本发明并不限于多跳架构或图7中所示的具体架构。
在图7的实施方式中,移动中继基站(MR-BS)50包括提供导码调制序列的码提供器56。此外,中继站60也包括码提供器64和导码解码器65。中继站62包括导码解码器66。
图7示出了码提供器64和56分别包括在中继站(RS)60和移动中继基站(MR-BS)50上的情况。然而,本发明并不限于位于任何具体位置处的码提供器64和56。例如,码提供器64和56可以设置在网络中的不同实体上,并根据需要将所需的导码调制序列提供给中继站。
移动中继基站(MR-BS)50将导码调制序列插入到下行链路帧中,并将该帧发送到中继站(RS)60。中继站(RS)60的导码解码器65对插入到该下行链路帧中的导码调制序列进行解码。然后中继站(RS)60根据经解码的导码调制序列来执行测量和测试。
中继站(RS)60也将导码调制序列插入到其下行链路帧中,并将该新帧发送到中继站62。中继站62的导码解码器66对导码序列进行解码并根据经解码的导码调制序列来执行测量和测试。
图6和图7示出了用于需要导码调制序列的各个移动中继基站(MR-BS)的相应码提供器。然而,在一些实施方式中,可以存在将导码调制序列提供给一个以上的移动中继基站(MR-BS)的单个码提供器。因此,本发明并不限于任何特定数量或位置的码提供器。
图7中所示的网络示出了移动中继基站(MR-BS)50和用户站(SS)54之间仅有两个中继站。然而,在本发明的各种实施方式中,在移动中继基站(MR-BS)50和用户站(SS)54之间可以存在附加的中继站(表示附加的多跳)。在这些实施方式中,根据结构,附加的中继站可能需要导码调制序列以在下行链路中继区中发送帧。
本发明的各种实施方式适用于IEEE 802.16网络,该IEEE 802.16网络包括对IEEE 802.16的修改和扩展。这些修改和扩展包括但不限于IEEE802.16e和802.16j。并且,本发明并不限于IEEE 802.16网络,而是可以应用于其他类型的网络。
本发明的各种实施方式涉及具有用户站的网络。用户站例如可以是固定站或移动站。然而,存在许多不同类型的用户站,并且本发明并不限于任何具体类型的用户站。
这里示出了具有特定数量的移动中继基站(MR-BS)和中继站(RS)的各种网络结构。然而,本发明并不限于具有任何特定数量或结构的移动中继基站(MR-BS)或者具有任何特定数量或结构的中继站(RS)的的结构。
这里所述的网络具有FFT大小。然而,本发明并不限于具有任何特定FFT大小的网络,并且本发明的实施方式适用于具有与这里所述的示例不同的FFT大小的网络。
