背景技术
US6,845,408公开了一种包括耳机插孔的便携式计算机系统,这种耳机插孔可将信号传递到插在这种耳机插孔内的音频插头。这种音频插头耦接到一种外围设备,如耳机设备或音频扬声器组。

具体实施方式
消费性电子(CE)设备尤其是便携式CE设备通常包括一个或多个音频或视频连接器。这些连接器用于将电缆或其它信号导体连接到这些CE设备,以提供电子信号传递和接地保护。这些连接器可以是插头、插孔或其它组合。插头类型的连接器是一种可包括一个或多个可插入插口中的插脚的插头或阳连接器。插孔类型的连接器是一种插孔或阴连接器,这种插孔或阴连接器可包括对齐以与插头连接器的一个或多个插脚啮合的插口。这种连接器可用于将CE设备与附接到如电话或麦克风的电缆连接。

数据处理器130可以是一种适合于启动设备100的运行的公知的中央处理器(CPU)。在这种便携式音乐播放器中,可将这种数据处理器构造成接收用户命令、在用户命令的基础上选择媒介内容并开始经由控制单元160、插口110和插头连接器120的向外围设备200的所选媒介内容的输出。
可将数据处理器130构造成控制经由显示器150向用户的信息输出,这种信息如所选歌曲或视频内容项的标题。这种显示器用于向用户显示视频信息的任何常规装置,例如,CRT(阴极射线管)、LCD(液晶显示器)、LCOS(硅基液晶)背投技术DLP(数字光处理)电视/投影仪、等离子体屏幕显示设备等。

插孔110包括绝缘体111和安装在绝缘体111的内面上的第一、第二和第三导电接触构件1a、1b、1c。可将这些接触构件1a、1b、1c布置成分别接触插头连接器120的信号拾取表面。这样就可经由插口110和插头连接器120从设备100向外围设备200传递音频和/或视频信号。
