技术领域
本发明涉及在安全系统等中用来监视场内各个位置的活动的闭路电视(CCTV)系统,更特别地涉及具有方向决策能力的CCTV系统,用于跟踪通过某个区域的人的行进,使得可以对人进行紧密地监视。
背景技术
闭路电视广泛用于保护许多类型的场地的安全系统中。系统利用布置在设施各处和/或周围的战略位置的摄像机。在设施的外面,摄像机典型地监视提供设施出入口的门。在设施的内部,布置摄像机监视出入安全区的门、保险库或保存财物的其它位置等。应当认识到,除了监视人以外,闭路电视系统还可以用来跟踪物品的运动。在制造操作中,摄像机可以监视车间区看哪里出现瓶颈。在仓库中,摄像机监视储存区以侦查偷盗。
安全系统的操作是使电视摄像机所捕捉的图像提供给监视位置。在监视场所,图像或者同时显示在一系列监视器上、或者它们以顺序方式(A,B,C,A,B,C等)显示在单个监视器上。如果利用多个监视器,那么必须有足够的安全人员观察发生的所有事情。如果仅使用一个或很少几个监视器,那么当观察到引起注意的事情时,人员通常能够停止摄像机的顺序显示,并监视仅来自一个摄像机的输出。
当前系统具有许多缺点。这些缺点中显著的一个是不能总是方便地跟踪通过设施的某人或某物的运动。大多数建筑有多于一个的入口和出口。在通过区域时,通常也有许多路径,人或物体可以采用。通常地,如果观察到可疑的人通过区域,安全人员不能总是容易地跟随他的运动。如果摄像机具有摇动、倾斜和变焦的能力,那么监视器可以使用这些控制在某种程度上跟随人的运动。但是,一旦人走出摄像机的视野,那么必须能够快速从该摄像机切换到另一个摄像机。安全人员可以通过猜测用来观察那个人的下一个摄像机,尝试跟踪运动。但是,如果那个人具有从一个区域走到另一个区域的路径的多个选择,那么摄像机的错误选择可能使其不被发现地走进下一个区域。即使最后可能用另一个摄像机再次观察到那个人,但是他或她可能相当长的时间不在监视之下。在其间的时间中可能发生了很多事。此外,即使安全人员正确地选择了下一个捕捉那个人的摄像机,但是每次那个人走出摄像机范围时,他们仍然必须试图预测,下一次那个人打算走到哪里。
还应当认识到,观察人的环境可能使他们的轨迹大大地变复杂。在室外、在晚上或在严酷的天气中,低的照明水平可能使那个人不被发现地在地面附近移动。在室内、在晚上或在周末,在非工作时段期间,许多照明关闭或强度减小,也使得难以跟踪某个人的运动。最后,如果那个人知道他被观察,他可能采取逃避行动(在运动时蹲伏,或者试图仅在挡住他不被看见的物体后面运动),以避免被看到。
因此,需要允许安全人员快速和准确地跟踪通过设施的人或物体的CCTV系统,它预测运动的路径,并且不管选定的路径是什么,从一群摄像机中自动选择哪个将观察运动。
发明内容
简单地说,本发明的闭路电视(CCTV)系统用于跟踪设施如办公楼、工厂、仓库等中的人的运动。系统包括安装在设施内的选定位置的多个摄像机。沿着通过设施的人将遵循的路线安装各个摄像机。设施的控制站包括显示来自摄像机的图像的触摸屏监视器。监视器显示全尺寸的和缩小尺寸的图像。屏幕的选择部分允许用户选择显示哪个摄像机的图像。选择的摄像机是人或物体通过设施的路径中的摄像机,并且图像显示为全尺寸图像。跟踪系统响应于摄像机选择,进一步选择沿着人或物体从他或它的当前位置通过设施时可能遵循的路径布置的一个或多个额外摄像机。来自这些其它的选定摄像机的每个的图像在监视器上显示为缩小尺寸的图像。跟踪系统也响应于人或物体所采取的路径以及路径的变化,自动改变其图像在监视器上显示的摄像机的选择。

接下来,跟踪系统30注意其图像正显示在监视器18的主要部分SC上的摄像机C的位置,并识别跟摄像机C相邻的、在入侵者从他的当前位置必须采取的各个路径上的那些摄像机。这允许控制台操作员现在通过顺序地排队在人的路径上的下一个或多个摄像机,而跟随入侵者的行进。在每个楼层的视图中,如图4中所示,只要选定了要显示的摄像机,在显示屏上高亮显示该摄像机的标记。现在,通过一个摄像机的图像显示在监视器18的SC部分上,并且其它摄像机的图像在部分NC1-NC4上显示为缩小尺寸的图像,操作员可以快速地安排从一个摄像机到另一个摄像机的顺序,以便不会错过入侵者的轨迹。当入侵者走出一个摄像机的范围进入另一个的范围时,操作员可以从一个摄像机的全尺寸屏显示切换到下一个。新的摄像机的缩小尺寸图像现在变成监视器18的屏幕部分SC上的全尺寸图像,同时先前摄像机的全尺寸图像移到缩小尺寸部分的一个上。
随着时间的过去,当入侵者通过设施时,控制台操作员可以快速地从在楼层的一个部分上的摄像机移动到在楼层的其它部分上的摄像机。如果入侵者从一个楼层走到另一个楼层,那么操作员可以如图2中所示改变楼层,使得在人正走向的楼层上的摄像机现在用于跟踪。应当认识到,虽然在附图中没有显示,但是摄像机也布置在人从一个楼层走到另一个楼层的楼梯间中。如果人使用电梯,那么当人选择他希望电梯到达的楼层时,给跟踪系统提供信号,使得在选定楼层上的监视电梯的摄像机排队等候,当电梯达到该楼层时监视那个人。如果人离开建筑,那么监视建筑外部和周围地面的摄像机排队等候跟随他的运动。并且,使用监视器18上的控制开关,操作员可以控制每个选择的摄像机。
本领域技术人员应当明白,虽然跟踪系统30允许控制台操作员全面地监视和跟踪设施各处的人或物体的运动,但是系统不是仅通过跟踪和记录被动地响应入侵。另外,还可以对跟踪系统进行编程以自动报警通知安全警卫、警察或其它人员有入侵。如果系统安装在制造或处理设施中,在那里其功能在于例如及时监视制造、封装或邮件物品的运动,那么系统还可以自动编程,当故障、物品的误转或类似事件发生时报警通知适当的人员。

Claims (20)

1.一种用于跟踪通过设施的人的运动的闭路电视(CCTV)系统,包括:
布置在设施各处的多个摄像机,沿着通过设施的人遵循的路径布置各个摄像机;
用于显示摄像机的图像的监视器,以及用于选择要显示哪个摄像机的图像的选择装置,选择的摄像机是人通过设施时所采取的路径上的摄像机;以及
跟踪装置,其响应于选择的摄像机,选择沿着人从其当前位置通过设施时在正常运动行进中将遵循的路径上布置的一个或多个其它摄像机,监视器也显示这些其它选择的摄像机的每一个的图像,并且跟踪装置响应于人采取的路径以及路径的改变,改变其图像显示在监视器上的摄像机的选择,以便在人通过设施时跟踪人的运动。
2.根据权利要求1的CCTV系统,其中设施具有多个区域,多个摄像机布置在每个区域中,跟踪装置允许系统的用户选择开始跟踪哪个区域。
3.根据权利要求2的CCTV系统,其中在监视器上显示每一个区域的表示,每一个显示也指出安装在区域中的每一个摄像机的位置。

选择显示其图像的摄像机,选择的摄像机是在人通过区域时采取的路径上的摄像机;以及

15.根据权利要求11的方法,其中选择的摄像机是可控摄像机,并且触摸屏具有定义好的区域,当系统的用户触摸定义好的区域时,允许用户摇动、倾斜或变焦摄像机。
16.根据权利要求11的方法,还包括当跟踪通过区域的人的运动时,记录显示在监视器上的图像。
17.根据权利要求11的方法,其中具有多个人可以通过的区域,并且该方法包括允许用户选择监视哪个区域。
18.根据权利要求14的方法,其中包括安装在区域中的每一个摄像机的位置的区域的表示显示在监视器上,并且图像在监视器上正显示为全尺寸图像的摄像机被高亮显示,使得系统的用户可以确定正在观察区域的哪个部分。
19.根据权利要求14的方法,其中用户可以通过触摸提供缩小尺寸图像显示的屏幕的那部分,将选择的摄像机的全尺寸图像显示改变成其它选择的摄像机之一的全尺寸图像显示。
20.根据权利要求19的方法,其中当人通过区域时,系统的用户可以通过触摸显示其它选择的摄像机的缩小尺寸图像的屏幕,从图像显示为全尺寸的选择的摄像机改变到图像显示为缩小尺寸的其它选择的摄像机之一,使得先前的缩小尺寸图像现在显示为全尺寸,并且先前的全尺寸图像现在显示为缩小尺寸。
