Abstract
一种发动机缸盖上的燃烧室结构,燃烧室在缸盖上呈凹坑形,燃烧室的壁上设有进、排气门座圈安装孔和火花塞安装孔,燃烧室壁的外周缘与缸盖端面之间为圆弧R过渡或圆滑过渡。采用本发明技术方案的发动机与传统的同类型发动机相比,避免了燃烧室壁外周缘处的超高温现象,发动机尾气排放中的Nox含量可降低10%~20%。
Description
技术领域
本发明属于发动机技术领域,具体地说,涉及发动机缸盖上燃烧室结构的改进设计。
背景技术
发动机工作时,活塞在气缸内作往复运动,当活塞位于上止点位置时,活塞顶部与气缸盖内表面所形成的空间称为燃烧室。直喷式燃烧室(也称统一式燃烧室)大都以凹坑形式出现在活塞或缸盖上。
目前发动机缸盖上凹坑形式的燃烧室有浴盆型、楔型、半球型等,其中以半球型居多。混合气进入燃烧室后经压缩、燃烧做功后排出,由于高温、高压的作用,空气中的氧和氮在燃烧室中会生成NO和少量的NO2随尾气一起排出,NO在进入大气后又氧化成NO2,故统称为NOx,发动机尾气中的NOx可经呼吸进入人体肺部,与肺中的水汽结合生成稀硝酸,损害人体健康;此外,HC加上NOx在阳光照射下,会形成光化学烟雾,可刺激人的眼睛,引起肺炎、肺气肿及致癌效应,因此发动机尾气中的NOx是非常有害的气体,是作为发动机排放指标须严加控制的。
从发动机排放污染物的生成机理来看,NOx的生成主要是由于燃烧室内的高温和富氧引起的。因此,为降低尾气排放中的NOx含量,应着力解决燃烧室内终燃混合气的冷却问题。从现有发动机缸盖上燃烧室的结构来看,燃烧室壁面外周缘与缸盖端面之间均为尖角过渡,通过热流分析发现,燃烧室导热时容易在周圈形成死角,使得该处的传热、导热效果不佳,燃烧室周圈温度过高,表面炙热,从而导致了发动机尾气排放中NOx的含量偏高。
发明内容
本发明要解决的问题是提供一种能明显降低发动机尾气排放中NOx含量的发动机缸盖上的燃烧室结构。
为解决上述技术问题,本发明提供的发动机缸盖上的燃烧室结构,其燃烧室在缸盖上呈凹坑形,燃烧室的壁上设有进、排气门座圈安装孔和火花塞安装孔,燃烧室壁的外周缘与缸盖端面之间为圆弧R过渡或圆滑过渡。
燃烧室壁外周缘与缸盖端面之间采用圆弧R过渡或圆滑过渡结构后,通过热流分析发现,导热时不会在燃烧室壁外周缘处形成死角,热传导顺畅。当混合气燃烧做功终了时燃烧室壁的热量易于向外导出,不会在缸盖燃烧室壁外周缘处出现温度超高的现象,从而使发动机尾气中的NOx排放量大大减少。通过样件制作装机及试验对比验证,采用这种结构燃烧室的发动机比同类型发动机可降低NOx排放物高达10%~20%。

具体实施方式
下面结合附图和实施例对本发明作进一步说明:
如图1至图5所示,本发明所述发动机缸盖上的燃烧室结构是:燃烧室1在缸盖2上呈凹坑形,燃烧室1的壁上设有进、排气门座圈安装孔3、4和火花塞安装孔5,燃烧室1壁的外周缘与缸盖2端面之间D为圆弧R过渡或圆滑过渡。
采用上述结构后,消除了燃烧室1壁外周缘与缸盖2端面之间的尖角,使其导热时不会在燃烧室1壁外周缘处形成死角,使热传导顺畅。当混合气燃烧做功终了时燃烧室1壁的热量易于向外导出,不会在燃烧室1壁外周缘处出现温度超高的现象,从而使发动机尾气中的NOx排放量大大减少。在CG125发动机上,通过样件制作装机及试验对比验证,采用这种结构燃烧室的CG125发动机比普通CG125发动机可降低NOx排放物高达10%~20%。
燃烧室1壁的外周缘与缸盖2端面之间最好为单曲率圆弧R过渡,这样便于加工。
本发明将燃烧室壁的外周缘与缸盖端面之间采用圆弧R过渡或圆滑过渡结构后,制造时燃烧室壁直接通过铸造成形,机加时只需加工缸盖端面,圆弧R过渡或圆滑过渡处自然形成挤气面,不需再对燃烧室壁外周缘部位进行加工,简化了制造工艺,提高了生产效率。

1、一种发动机缸盖上的燃烧室结构,燃烧室(1)在缸盖(2)上呈凹坑形,燃烧室(1)的壁上设有进、排气门座圈安装孔(3、4)和火花塞安装孔(5),其特征在于:所述燃烧室(1)壁的外周缘与缸盖(2)端面之间(D)为圆弧R过渡或圆滑过渡。
2、根据权利要求1所述的一种发动机缸盖上的燃烧室结构,其特征在于:所述燃烧室(1)壁的外周缘与缸盖(2)端面之间(D)为单曲率圆弧R过渡。
