Abstract
一种电连接器,包括绝缘本体、若干收容于绝缘本体的导电端子,所述绝缘本体设有若干端子收容槽,导电端子包括插入式导电端子及表面安装式导电端子,所述导电端子设为两列,其中第一列均为插入式导电端子,第二列为间隔设置的插入式导电端子与表面安装式导电端子。通过改进的端子排布,本发明电连接器可建立起高速的电性连接。另外,采用插入式与表面安装式端子,可更进一步增强电路板结构强度。
Description
【技术领域】
本发明涉及一种电连接器,特别涉及一种可安装于电路板与对接连接器配合的电连接器。
【背景技术】
SCA-2(Single Connector Attachment,单连接器附件)连接器可提供一种在SCSI(Small Computer System Interface,小型计算器系统接口)硬盘驱动器、光纤通道硬盘驱动器、GBIC(Gigabit Interface Converter,以太接口转换器)模块以及背板系统之间的标准接口。SCA-2连接器可以根据引脚目数划分为三类:20、40、80。引脚数为20的SCA-2连接器作为光纤通道的媒体接口用于GBIC模块上,引脚数为40的SCA-2连接器用于3.5″的光纤通道硬盘驱动器,而引脚数为80的SCA-2连接器则用于3.5″的SCSI硬盘驱动器。传统SCA-2连接器包括具有一纵长形绝缘本体及收容于绝缘本体内的若干导电端子,其中每一导电端子包括与对接连接器电性接触的接触部、从接触部垂直延伸的中间部以及由中间部垂直延伸的尾部,该尾部用于插入到印刷电路板的相应的通孔内以与电路板建立起电性连接。
然而,随着技术的发展,现代电子设备越来越要求高速度传输以满足大量数据吞吐。另外,由于电子装置的小型化趋势的发展,在有限的面积内要安排大量的端子,一方面容易引发电磁干扰的问题,另一方面也会带来组装上的困难,特别是当这种采用插接式端子的连接器安装在电路板上时,电路板上需要设许多对应的通孔,会导致电路板的结构强度不足。
鉴于上述状况,确有必要提供一种改进的电连接器,以克服上述电连接存在的缺陷。
【发明内容】
本发明要解决的技术问题是提供一种电连接器,其改进的端子排布,可进行高速传输数据。
为解决上述技术问题,本发明提供一种电连接器,包括绝缘本体、若干收容于绝缘本体的导电端子,所述绝缘本体设有若干端子收容槽,导电端子包括插入式导电端子及表面安装式导电端子,所述导电端子设为两列,其中第一列均为插入式导电端子,第二列为间隔设置的插入式导电端子与表面安装式导电端子。
与现有技术相比,本发明电连接器改进的端子排布,可建立起高速的电性连接。
本发明电连接器进一步改进之处在于:采用插入式与表面安装式端子,可保证足够的强度。

【具体实施方式】
请参考图1,本发明电连接器可电性连接电路板6与对接连接器(未图示),以达成不同电气元件之间的电性连接。本发明电连接器包括一纵长型绝缘本体1、容置于绝缘本体1中且电性连接于电路板6的若干导电端子4、一与绝缘本体1相结合以固定导电端子4的固定件3、一用于排列端子尾部之定位件2及一对组装至绝缘本体1上并与电路板相电性连接的侦测端子5。所述电路板6上设有一对以收容侦测端子5的通孔61、若干收容导电端子4的穿孔62、若干与导电端子4相电性连接的导电元件63以及与一对电连接器相配合的定位孔64。
请参考图1并结合图11至图12,绝缘本体1包括一大致呈纵长状的本体部10、一自本体部10向上延伸的对接部11及设于本体部10两侧的凸台13。本体部10设有结合面102、与结合面102相对设置的对接面103以及设在结合面102与对接面103之间并贯通结合面102以收容固持固定件3的收容室104。此外,本体部10两侧分别设有一对固持孔105。对接部11自本体部10的对接面103向上延伸,其设有与收容室104相贯通的收容腔110,所述收容腔110内设有若干沿对接面103向上方向延伸设置的端子收容槽1100。凸台13设置于本体部10之两侧,每一凸台103均其设有一可收容侦测端子5的固持槽120及分别突出结合面102与对接面103的安装部121与配合部122。其中一安装部121的底部设有一固定柱123,所述一对配合部122分别设有一相向设置的凹部124,所述该对凹部124共同形成一收容空间以与对接连接器相配合。
请参考图2至图5,导电端子4包括若干插入式(Through-Hole Technology)第一导电端子41、第二导电端子42及表面安装式(Surface Mount Technology)第三导电端子43。所述第一导电端子41、第二导电端子42及第三导电端子43分别用于传输电源、接地及信号且均收容在绝缘本体1的端子收容槽110内。第一导电端子41包括一收容在端子收容槽1100内的基部410、自基部410向上弯曲延伸且收容在在绝缘本体1的收容腔110内以与对接连接相电性连接的接触部411、自基部410向下延伸的固持部412、一向下延伸且插接于电路板6上的插接部414及连接固持部412与插接部414的倾斜部413。第二导电端子42包括一收容在端子收容槽1100内的基部420、自基部420向上弯曲延伸且收容在绝缘本体1的收容腔110内以与对接连接相电性连接的接触部421、自基部420向下延伸的固持部422、一向下延伸且插接于电路板6上的插接部424及连接固持部422与插接部424的弯折部423。所述第一端子41的倾斜部413在垂直于端子4延伸方向上的高度较第二端子42的弯折部423小。第三端子43包括一收容在绝缘本体1的端子收容槽1110内的基部430、自基部430向上弯曲延伸且收容在绝缘本体1的收容腔110内以与对接连接相电性连接的接触部431、自基部430向下延伸的固持部432及自固持部432向下延伸且采用表面安装技术安装于电路板6上的弯折尾部433。
请参图6,侦测端子5用于侦测本发明电连接器与对接连接器的连接状况,其包括本体51、自本体51弯折延伸的接合部52及自本体51向下延伸的插入部53。所述接合部52于其顶部设有一导接部520。插入部53上设有一不规则状的开口530。
请参图1并结合图7至图8,固定件3大致呈长方体状,包括第一结合部31及与第一结合部31配合的第二结合部32。所述第一结合部31及第二结合部32均设有一结合面303、若干相对的凹陷部300及与绝缘本体1的本体部10上的固持孔105相配合的卡块302。此外,第一结合部31设有一凹槽312,第二结合部32设有一与凹槽312相配合的肋条322。
请参图9至图10,定位件2呈纵长形状,包括若干对应于绝缘本体1的端子收容槽1100以定位导电端子4的穿孔20、若干自定位件2上表面向上延伸且间隔设置的纵长状凸条22及一自下表面向下延伸以与电路板6相结合的定位柱200。所述凸条22形成两个容置部24。
请继续参图1至图13,组装时,若干插入式第一导电端子41、第二导电端子42及表面安装式第三导电端子43分别组装至固定件3。导电端子4排成两列,其中一列(第一列)为插入式第一导电端子41,另一列(第二列)包括间隔设置的插入式第一导电端子41、第二导电端子42及表面装式第三导电端子43。其中,第一列导电端子4与固定件3的第一结合部3 1注射成型为一体,第二列导电端子4与固定件3的第二结合部32注射成型为一体。然后,将固定件3的第一结合部31与第二结合部32组合成一体,此时将组装有导电端子4的固定件3组装至绝缘本体1的收容室104内,此时固定件3上的卡块302与固持孔105相卡扣。再将定位件2组装至固定件3的下部,此时导电端子4分别收容区隔在穿孔20内。因第一导电端子41的倾斜部413在垂直于端子4延伸方向上的高度较第二端子42的弯折部423小,故,两列导电端子4的接脚间距不同,通过这样的排列,可以达到减小电磁干扰以及安装在电路板6上的稳定性上亦得以提高。侦测端子5组装在绝缘本体1两侧的凸台12内的固持槽120内且插入部53凸露在凸台12的安装部121下部以与电路板6相插接。至此,本发明电连器组装完成,将组装完成的电连接器安装至电路板6上。此时,凸台12的安装部121抵靠在电路板6上且固定柱123及定位件2底面的定位柱200分别插入至定位孔64内,所述固定柱123与定位柱200分别位于绝缘本体1两侧以更好地起到固定作用。插入式第一导电端子41及第二导电端子42分别插设在穿孔62内,表面安装式第三导电端子43则电性连接至导电元件63上,侦测端子5则贯穿通孔61。
本发明电连接器的导电端子4排成两列,其中一列(第一列)为插入式第一导电端子41,另一列(第二列)包括间隔设的插入式第一导电端子41、第二导电端子42及表面安装式第三导电端子43。采用这样的方式,本发明电连接器可以达到减小电磁干扰以及安装在电路板6上的稳定性上亦得以提高。另外,因第一导电端子41的倾斜部413在垂直于端子4延伸方向上的高度较第二端子42的弯折部423小,故,两列导电端子4的接脚间距不同,通过这样的排列,可以更进一步有利于高速传输数据与信号。当然,在其他实施例中,也可将定位件4与固定件3一体注射成型。
Claims (10)
1.一种电连接器,包括绝缘本体、若干收容于绝缘本体的导电端子,所述绝缘本体设有若干端子收容槽,导电端子包括插入式导电端子及表面安装式导电端子,其特征在于:所述导电端子设为两列,其中第一列均为插入式导电端子,第二列为间隔设置的插入式导电端子与表面安装式导电端子。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述插入式导电端子包括第一导电端子及第二导电端子,所述表面安装式导电端子包括第三导电端子。
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:第一列导电端子包括第一导电端子,第二列导电端子包括第一、第二及第三导电端子。
4.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:第一导电端子包括收容在端子收容槽内的基部、自基部向上弯曲延伸以与对接连接器电性连接的接触部、自基部向下延伸的固持部、一向下延伸的插接部及连接固持部与插接部的倾斜部;第二导电端子包括收容在端子收容槽内的基部、自基部向上弯曲延伸以与对接连接相电性连接的接触部、自基部向下延伸的固持部、一向下延伸的插接部及连接固持部与插接部的弯折部。
5.如权利要求4所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第一导电端子的倾斜部在垂直于端子延伸方向上的高度较第二导电端子的弯折部小。
6.如权利要求5所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第一、第二及第三导电端子分别用于传输电源、接地及传输信号。
7.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述绝缘本体包括大致呈纵长状的本体部、自本体部向上延伸的对接部及设于本体部两侧的凸台。
8.如权利要求7所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述本体部设有结合面、与结合面相对设置的对接面以及设在结合面与对接面之间并贯通结合面的收容室,所述对接部自对接面向上延伸。
9.如权利要求7所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述凸台沿竖直方向延伸并包括凸出于结合面外的安装部及凸出于对接面外以与对接连接器相配合的配合部。
10.如权利要求8所述的电连接器,其特征在于:其包括收容固持若干导电端子的固持件,所述固持件收容固持于所述收容室内并于其纵长两侧设有若干卡块,所述绝缘本体的本体部上设有若干固持槽与所述卡块相固持。
