Abstract

一种钢管斜轧穿孔用顶头的热处理方法。
在可控保护气氛环境下进行穿孔顶头的热处理,在高温时向处理顶头的热处理炉内通入氮、水或水蒸汽、有机液体形成高温氧化气氛,经处理的顶头表面生成完整的、宏观致密光滑的,与顶头基体有良好粘附性的氧化层,有效地提高了顶头的使用寿命。

Description

本发明属于钢管斜轧穿孔用顶头的热处理。
在无缝钢管的生产过程中,穿孔是主要工序之一,穿孔顶头的使用寿命直接关系到钢管的产量和质量以及钢管的成本而为人们所关注。现有的穿孔顶头热处理一般是在弱氧化性气氛下进行,经热处理的顶头其表面的氧化皮疏松、易剥落,使用寿命一般较短,不适应当前无缝钢管生产中穿制不锈钢、合金钢及较长的管坯的需要。
本发明的目的在于,通过一种在可控保护气氛环境下进行的顶头的热处理,使顶头表面生成完整的、宏观致密光滑的,与顶头基体有良好粘附性的氧化层,以有效地提高穿孔顶头的使用寿命。
本发明所采用的方法是,在炉温950-1200℃时向处理顶头的热处理炉内通入氮、水或水蒸汽及乙醇,用气体流量计及液体流量计控制通入量,氮通入量控制在200-300升/小时,水通入量控制在0.05-2.0升/小时或水蒸汽通入量控制在1-40升/小时,有机液体通入量控制在15-250毫升/分,形成高温氧化性气氛,保温4-6小时,在900-800℃出炉、空冷。
钢制的顶头经本发明的热处理方法进行高温氧化热处理,顶头表面生成深灰色的氧化层,该氧化层完整,宏观致密光滑,与顶头基体有良好的粘附性。由于顶头具备了这样的表面氧化层,在穿孔时有承受高温、高压、摩擦、旋转扭曲等恶劣工作条件的适应能力,有效地提高了顶头的使用寿命达250次以上,从而减少了顶头的消耗,降低了钢管的生产成本。
本发明一实施例:
顶头材质为合金工具钢,在炉温800℃时装炉,并向炉内通氮(950-1050升/小时),炉温升至950-1200℃时保温4-6小时,在保温期向炉内通入氮(200-250升/小时)、水(0.05-2.0升/小时)、乙醇(15-250毫升/分),保温期结束后通氮,至炉温900-800℃时出炉、空冷。

Claims (2)

1、一种合金工具钢制、钢管斜轧穿孔用顶头的热处理方法,在热处理炉内的氧化性气氛中进行,其特征是在950-1200℃时往炉内通入氮、水及乙醇,形成高温氧化性所氛,热处理的保温温度为950~1200℃,保温时间为4~6小时。
2、根据权利要求1所述的穿孔顶头的热处理方法,其特征是,氮通入量控制在200~300升/小时,水通入量控制在0.05~2.0升/小时或水蒸汽通入量在1~40升/小时,乙醇通入量控制在15~250毫升/分。
