Description

Method and system for realizing real-time charging
Technical Field
The present invention relates to telecommunication service charging technology, and in particular, to a method and system for implementing real-time charging.
Background
With the development of telecommunication value-added services, service charging methods tend to be flexible and complex. Because the prepayment charging mode has the advantages of flexible tariff means, arrearage prevention, reduction of operation risk, early investment recovery and the like, the prepayment charging mode is more and more widely applied.
Before detailing the specific method of telecommunication service charging, two concepts are first introduced: account currency and rate currency. The account currency refers to the currency type of the charge deposited in the account by the user, and the currency type is hereinafter referred to as the currency type; the rate currency refers to the currency on which the rate set by the operator is based.
In the prior art, account currency and rate currency are generally the same, and a charging system calculates according to the service use condition of a user and the rate of the service to obtain the cost generated by the service used by the user, and then deducts the cost from the balance of the user account.
With the popularization of business application areas, the diversification of business users and the internationalization of operators, the demands of different currencies for account currencies and rate currencies are more and more urgent. For example, a prepaid phone card may be introduced that purchases and stores telephone charges in dollars, while charging is still based on RMB. In addition, because the exchange rate between different currencies is constantly changed, the charging system is required to be able to pre-store the exchange rate in different periods, and the fee is converted according to the exchange rate at that time when the fee is settled.
The existing charging system generally defaults that account currency and rate currency are the same currency, and different currencies cannot be used and exchange rate conversion can be realized. For the demand to use different currencies for account currency and rate currency, it is necessary to manually convert the rate to a rate based on the account currency. For example, when the account currency is U.S. dollar and the rate currency is RMB, if the set rate is 80 cents/min, the rate configuration is converted to 10 cents/min based on RMB, assuming that RMB/USD is 8: 1, according to the exchange rate at that time. This increases the complexity of the rate configuration. Moreover, since the exchange rate is changed frequently, the configured rate needs to be modified frequently, which is inconvenient.

Detailed Description
The basic idea of the invention is: and setting currency type attributes for the user account and the rate in the service, wherein the currency type attributes are used for setting different currencies, and when the account currency is different from the rate currency, the rate is converted according to the currently effective exchange rate to obtain the rate based on the account currency so as to calculate the charge generated by the current service.
Hereinafter, specific embodiments will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of a system for implementing real-time charging according to the present invention, as shown in fig. 1, the system includes a service module 110, a charging module 120, a rate data storage module 130, and an exchange rate data storage module 140, wherein,
the service module 110 is configured to obtain a charging element, an account currency of the user, and an account balance when the user uses the service, send the charging element and the account currency of the user to the charging module 120, and deduct a corresponding fee from the account balance of the user after receiving a value of the fee returned by the charging module 120.
Wherein, the charging element includes: the calling number, the called number, the duration, the flow, the frequency and the like of the service.
The charging module 120 is configured to send the charging element to the rate data storage module 130 after receiving the charging element and the account currency sent by the service module 110, determine whether the rate currency is the same as the received account currency after obtaining the rate of the current service and the rate currency of the rate returned by the rate data storage module 130, directly calculate the charge generated by the current service of the user according to the charging element and the searched rate if the rate currency is the same, and send the calculated value of the charge to the service module 110; if the rate currency and the account currency are different, sending the rate currency and the account currency to the exchange rate data storage module 140, and obtaining the rate based on the account currency through conversion according to the numerical value of the exchange rate returned by the exchange rate data storage module 140, wherein the method comprises the following steps: the rate based on the account currency is the rate x exchange rate returned by the rate data storage module 130.
The rate data storage module 130 is configured to search the rate of the current service and the rate currency corresponding to the rate according to the received charging element sent by the charging module 120, and send the search result to the charging module 120.
The rate data storage module 130 may be implemented by establishing a rate database in practical application. The rate database is used for storing the rates of various services, including a charging matrix table and a charging category table. The charging matrix table is used for storing the charging type corresponding to the charging element, and the area number of the calling number and the called number in the charging element can be used as an index for searching the charging type. The charging type table is a general name of a series of tables for storing different charging type rates, and includes tables corresponding to various charging types, such as international long distance table and domestic long distance table in telephone charging, and in the charging type table, time length, flow rate, times and the like in charging elements can be used as indexes, and rates to be used in various situations and rate currency corresponding to the rates are stored.
The exchange rate data storage module 140 is configured to obtain the current time according to the received account currency and rate currency sent by the charging module 120, search for the currently effective exchange rate corresponding to the account currency and the rate currency, and send the search result to the charging module 120.
The exchange rate data storage module 140 may be implemented by establishing an exchange rate database in practical applications. The rate database is used for storing the exchange rate values among various currencies and comprises an exchange rate conversion table. In the exchange rate conversion table, 5 fields including rate currency, account currency, effective time, rate currency coefficient, and account currency coefficient are included. Each record in the exchange rate conversion table holds an exchange rate value between two currencies and an effective time for that exchange rate value. Wherein, the exchange rate value is the account currency coefficient divided by the rate currency coefficient in each record in the table.
Typically, the exchange rate between two currencies varies with time, and the point in time at which the exchange rate changes is recorded in the validation time. At each point in time when the exchange rate changes, a record is created. When the billing module 120 is looking for the current exchange rate, it automatically performs the calculation according to the corresponding coefficient value in the record closest to the effective time before the current time. The latest exchange rate value can be updated through various ways, for example, manual update, or connection to an external server for exchange rate update through an interface machine to obtain the latest exchange rate value in real time; in addition, because the exchange rate can be predicted in some countries and regions, the exchange rate of each time period in a future period can be set, and when the exchange rate changes, the conversion can be automatically carried out according to the current exchange rate.
Fig. 2 is a schematic flow chart of a method for implementing real-time charging according to the present invention, as shown in fig. 2, in conjunction with fig. 1, the method includes:
the currency type attribute is added in the attribute of the user account and is used for marking account currency, namely the currency used by the account, and the currency type attribute is set by the user independently when the user opens an account. In addition, the account of the user also includes user information and account balance.
Meanwhile, an attribute of a currency type is added to the rate for indicating the rate currency, i.e., the currency of the rate, and the currency on which the rate is based is set while the rate is configured. When the method is realized through the rate database, the method can be realized by only adding a currency type field in each charging type table containing the rate value.
Step 201: when a user performs a certain service, the charging element of the user, the account currency and the account balance of the user are obtained.
The specific method for acquiring information such as the charging element of the user by whom depends on the implementation of the method of the present invention, for example, when the method is implemented using the system structure shown in fig. 1, the service module 110 acquires information such as the charging element.
When a user performs a certain service, the service module 110 sends the charging element and the account currency of the user to the charging module 120. Wherein, the charging element includes: the user uses the calling number, the called number, the service duration, the flow, the times and the like in the service process.
Alternatively, the step of obtaining the account balance may be performed in step 207, that is, the account balance of the user is obtained in step 207, and then the generated fee obtained in step 206 is deducted from the account balance of the user.
Step 202: and searching and obtaining the rate and rate currency required to be used by the current service according to the charging elements.
The specific rate and rate currency lookup by whom depends on the implementation of the method of the present invention, for example, when the method is implemented using the system structure as shown in fig. 1, the rate and rate currency lookup is performed by the rate data storage module 130.
The charging module 120 sends the charging element to the rate data storage module 130, and the rate data storage module 130 searches for the charging element according to the received charging element to obtain the rate and the rate currency required by the current service.
As shown in fig. 1, when the rate data storage module 130 is implemented by a method of establishing a rate database, the corresponding charging category may be first searched in a charging matrix table according to a calling number, a called number, or an area number of the calling number and the called number in a charging element, and then, the rate and the rate currency required by the current service are searched in a corresponding charging category table according to the charging category and the like.
Specifically, how to search for records from various tables belongs to a known technology, and for example, the search may be performed through SQL statements and the like, which are not described in detail herein.
Step 203: judging whether the account currency and the rate currency are the same, if so, directly executing the step 206 without considering exchange rate conversion; if not, rate conversion is required, and step 204 is executed.
The specific determination by whom depends on the implementation manner of the method of the present invention, for example, when the method is implemented using the system structure as shown in fig. 1, the determination is made by the billing module 120.
Wherein, the billing module 120 determines whether the account currency and the rate currency are the same. If the data is the same, the step 206 is directly executed without considering exchange rate conversion; if not, rate conversion is required, and step 204 is executed.
Step 204: and searching the effective exchange rate according to the account currency, the rate currency and the current time.
The specific rate by which the user finds the effective rate depends on the implementation manner of the method of the present invention, for example, when the method is implemented using the system structure as shown in fig. 1, the rate data storage module 140 finds the effective rate.
The charging module 120 sends the account currency and the rate currency to the exchange rate data storage module 140, and the exchange rate data storage module 140 searches for the currently effective exchange rate according to the received account currency, the received rate currency and the current time, and sends the obtained value of the exchange rate to the charging module 120.
As illustrated in FIG. 1, when the exchange rate data storage module 140 is implemented as an exchange rate database, it may look up in an exchange rate conversion table according to the received account currency, rate currency, and current time. The specific lookup may be done using SQL statements. For example, the select rate currency coefficient, the account currency coefficient from the exchange rate conversion table where the rate currency is the current charging rate currency and the account currency is the current charging account currency and the effective time is less than the current time order by effective time desc. In the above example, the account currency coefficient of the first record in the record of the exchange rate conversion table obtained after the SQL statement is executed is divided by the rate currency coefficient, that is, the exchange rate currently being validated is obtained, and at this time, the exchange rate data storage module 140 sends the obtained account currency coefficient and the obtained rate currency coefficient to the charging module 120.
Of course, how to search for records in the table according to known conditions is not limited to SQL statements, and other known technologies may also be used, which are not described herein again.
Step 205: according to the found exchange rate, the rate obtained in step 202 is converted into the exchange rate based on the account currency, and the method comprises the following steps: the rate based on the account currency is the rate found in step 202 x the exchange rate.
The specific rate conversion by whom depends on the implementation manner of the method of the present invention, for example, when the method is implemented using the system structure as described in fig. 1, the rate conversion is performed by the billing module 120.
The charging module 120 converts the rate obtained in step 202 into a rate based on the account currency according to the account currency coefficient and the rate currency coefficient found in step 204, and the method is as follows:
the rate based on the account money is the rate x exchange rate obtained in step 202, or the rate based on the account money is the rate x account money coefficient/rate money coefficient obtained in step 202.
Step 206: and calculating the charge generated by the current service according to the charging element generated by the service used by the user and the rate based on the account currency.
The calculation of the cost, which is specifically calculated by who performs the current service, depends on the implementation manner of the method of the present invention, and is calculated by the charging module 120 when the method is implemented using the system structure as described in fig. 1.
The charging module 120 calculates the charge generated by the current service according to the charging element generated by the user using the service and the rate based on the account currency.
How to calculate the charges generated by the current service according to the charging rate and the charging element is well known in the art and will not be described herein.
Step 207: the generated fee obtained in step 206 is deducted from the user account balance.
The specific deduction by whom depends on the implementation of the method of the present invention, for example, when the method is implemented using the system architecture as described in fig. 1, the service module 110 deducts the charge value from the account balance of the user.
Wherein step 207 is an optional step. When the method of the present invention is used to calculate the cost of the current service, it only needs to go to step 206. In prepaid services, the charges incurred can be deducted directly from the user's account.
The above description is only a preferred embodiment of the present invention, and is not intended to limit the scope of the present invention.
