Abstract

本发明涉及制造浅色油溶状萜烯酚醛树脂的方法。即在酸性催化剂作用下,通过加热使酚与甲醛缩合,然后用萜烯进行烃化,反应温度为95~210℃。当反应温度达160~210℃时,加入适量的脱色剂。并蒸馏出低沸点组份。采用本方法制造的萜烯酚醛树脂颜色浅、软化点高、油溶性好。可代替价格昂贵的叔丁基酚醛树脂并可应用于油漆、油墨、电缆、印刷、橡胶、塑料、胶粘剂等行业中。

Description

本发明涉及制造浅色油溶状的萜烯酚醛树脂的方法。
已知制造萜烯酚醛树脂的方法,按技术实质最接近的是苏联于1982年公布的发明专利939459。其方法是将酚与甲醛在酸性催化剂作用下加热缩合,随后用无环蒎烯诱发变异。酚与甲醛在105~210℃下缩合,酚与甲醛的克分子之比为1∶0.7-0.8然后用萜烯进行烃化,反应是在水介质中进行,且使挥发组份不断地循环,缩合产品对萜烯的重量比为1∶1-1.3。
用已知方法制造的树脂不能保证有较浅的颜色和较高的软化点。
本发明的目的在于浅化树脂的颜色和提高树脂的软化点。
要达到此目的,制造萜烯酚醛树脂的方法是在酸性催化剂的作用下,将酚与甲醛加热缩合,随后用萜烯烃化,反应温度为95~210℃。当反应温度达160~210℃时,加入0.3~1.5%的磷酸二氢钾或磷酸二氢钠脱色,并在210~300℃蒸馏出低沸点组份,蒸馏终温为250~300℃。所采用的烃化剂是脂松节油(符合LY-205)。
例1:将重量94克(1克分子)的苯酚加入烧瓶,加热搅拌使之熔解,将0.3~0.4克的浓硫酸混入60.克(0.75克分子)的甲醛水溶液中(37%的水溶液)。当酚液温度达到95~105℃时,将甲醛与硫酸的混合液缓慢滴入,使之在沸点下回流反应60分钟。此后在40分钟内加入重量为136克(1克分子)的萜烯,并蒸馏挥发组份和水。水份蒸馏完后,在195℃时加入1克磷酸二氢钾。在210~280℃下蒸馏出低沸点组份。由此制得的树脂达到了所要求的各项指标。其中颜色按碘量法计为15毫克碘/克,软化温度为85℃,且完全能与植物油相溶。
例2~5,在许多的例证中投入不同重量百分比的磷酸二氢钾或磷酸二氢钠及截取不同的蒸馏终温,各实验数据列于表内,对各试验产品的碘值、软化点、酸值及游离酚含量都进行了分析。
所建议制造萜烯酚醛树脂的方法,保证产品能与植物油相溶,是天然油的有效代用品,其颜色的碘值为8~25毫克碘/克,软化温度为85~95℃。浅色树脂无需额外加工。既提高了产品质量,也扩大了产品的应用范围。

Claims (1)

1、制造萜烯酚醛树脂的方法是将酚与甲醛在酸性催化剂作用下加热缩合,随后用萜烯烃化,其特征是为了浅化颜色和提高软化点,在反应温度达160~210℃时,加入占原料总量0.3~1.5%的磷酸二氢钾或磷酸二氢钠,反应结束后,蒸馏出低沸点组份,蒸馏终温为250~300℃。
