Abstract

Description

移动话音邮件筛选方法
技术领域
本发明涉及通信系统,并且特别涉及这种系统中的话音邮件消息的实时筛选。
尽管通信系统正在实现从呼叫用户至被叫用户的话音邮件消息,对于被叫用户来说,能听到该消息的开头以便更好地按实时方式来识别呼叫方更加有益。这就是通常所说的呼叫筛选(call screening)。
在有线通信系统中,例如,可通过自动答录机(answering machine)来实现呼叫筛选。当呼叫方在连接至被叫方用户的有线电话线的自动答录机上留下语音消息时,被叫方可收听该呼叫方的声音。被叫方随时可以选择摘机(拿起话筒)并立刻连接至该呼叫方。这可以根据该呼叫方的身份或由该呼叫方留给被叫方的某些特殊的紧急消息来做出决定。
现在,无线通信系统中的话音邮件系统通常是把消息路由到连接至该无线通信系统的移动交换中心的话音邮件系统。一旦呼入呼叫从被叫用户重新路由至移动交换中心的话音邮件系统,该用户就不能再收听该话音邮件消息。另外,在该消息完成之前,被叫方可能不能够识别留言的呼叫方。此后,被叫方可以检索任何存储的消息。通常,这要花费几分钟来保存所发生的消息和给被叫方的有关已经记录话音邮件消息的通知。另外,呼叫方此前已经断开连接。一旦消息存放的处理开始,被叫方就不能重新进入至话音邮件系统的活动呼叫。在无线通信系统中,在筛选呼叫时,“呼叫方ID”并不总是可用,也并不总是有用。当所寻求的消息本身重要,而呼叫方的身份并不重要时,就会表现出其无用性。
在有线网络中也可以发生类似情况,其中被叫用户可能使用其载波的集中化话音业务而不是传统的桌面自动答录机。
因此,非常希望有一种方法,使得被叫方可以在任何通信系统中收听话音邮件消息,并且使得被叫方可按实时的方式连接至呼叫方。

具体实施方式
参见图1,其中示出了无线呼叫筛选布局的方框图。图1中示出的系统100可以是无线蜂窝系统,如Motarala公司的iDEN、UMTS(统一移动通信系统)移动系统、GSM(全球系统移动)系统或CDMA(码分多址)系统。用户10发出至用户20的呼叫。用户10通过移动交换中心(MSC)30或通过IP多媒体子系统50并且通过至用户20的无线电接入网络40被连接到公共交换电话网络/ISDN 15。承载路径(bearerpath)的确定是由多媒体网关(MMG)55通过查询归属位置登记器(Home Location Register)35来确定,归属位置登记器35根据用户20的设备能力和预约向MMG 55通知该路径。
由于各种原因,呼叫可能不能到达被叫用户20。例如,用户20可能正忙、可能存在不良的接收,或用户20就是不响应。由于用户或被叫方20具有话音筛选特性,如果该呼叫路径最初是通过MSC 30路由的,移动交换中心30把该通信传送至IP多媒体子系统(IMS)50,否则,该呼叫已经维持在IP多媒体子系统(IMS)50中。
IMS 50辨认出该呼叫是根据呼叫筛选从用户20转发给它的(即由于用户20不回答)。呼叫控制从IMS 50转移到话音筛选服务器60。话音筛选服务器(VSS)60向呼叫用户10播放声明,指出用户10的呼叫已经到达用户20的话音邮件系统。VSS 60然后开始记录呼叫用户10的消息。
一旦VSS 60已经开始记录用户10的消息,VSS 60通过IMS 50对被叫用户20发送供给消息(offer message)。VSS 60继续记录呼叫用户10的消息,但在记录了预定的时间量之后,通过IMS 50向被叫方20发送所述“供给消息”;然后根据由归属位置登记器(HLR)35确定的用户20的能力通过分组域(packet domain)45或通过MSC 30,通过至被叫用户20的无线电接入网络40把该呼叫转发回去。这种经筛选的消息传递可经由无线一键通(push-to-talk over cellular,PoC)80呼叫或通过多媒体消息服务传递而发生。
当收到PoC 80,被叫用户20首先可进行选择,或者是第一种忽略该呼叫,或者第二种把该呼叫重新定向至用户20的手机并回答该呼叫。把该呼叫重新定向至用户20是通过向IMS 50发送具有简码的消息以使得话音邮件筛选服务器60把该呼叫经MMG 55重新定向至用户20来实现的。
参见图2,其中示出了移动话音邮件筛选布局的另外实施例。在图2中的这种布局和处理,直到IMS 50为了话音邮件处理而路由该呼叫的这一点都与图1相同。代替把呼叫路由至话音邮件筛选服务器60,IMS 50把该呼叫路由至多媒体消息服务中心(MMSC)70。代替把呼叫交换回至IMS 50,MMSC将根据由HLR确定的用户20的能力通过移动交换中心和IMS 60以及通过无线电接入网络把呼叫交换回至用户20。MMSC 70可以执行话音邮件类型的功能,以及另外可执行增值服务,例如但不限于话音邮件的全部或部分的语音至文本的转换。
MMSC 70较之话音邮件筛选服务器60可提供更宽范围内的服务。
参见图3和图4,其中示出了用于移动话音筛选布局的方法。该过程开始并进入方框102。在方框102,用户10进行对用户20的呼叫。接下来,在方框104进行判定,被叫用户20是否因任何原因无空闲(unavailable)。如果用户20无空闲,方框104经“是”路径把控制转移至方框106。方框106判定用户20是否还没有回答或他的线路忙。如果不是,方框106把控制转移至方框108。这是常规的呼叫,并且该过程按通常方式来处理。然后该过程结束。
如果用户20可用,方框104经“否”路径把控制转移至方框110。另外如果用户20没有回答或线路忙,方框106经“是”路径把控制转移至方框110。
方框110判定用户20是否具有呼叫筛选特性。如果没有,方框110把控制转移至方框112,方框112按常规的方式来处理该呼叫。然后该过程结束。
如果用户20具有呼叫筛选特性,方框110经由“是”路径把控制转移至方框114。方框114把至用户20的该呼叫转发到IP多媒体子系统(IMS)50,用于话音邮件筛选。接下来,在方框116,IMS 50检测话音邮件筛选特性对用户20是有效的,并把该呼叫路由至话音邮件筛选服务器60。
接下来,通过呼叫信令参数(call signaling parameter)来标识被叫用户即用户20。话音邮件筛选服务器60向呼叫用户10播放被叫方20的话音邮件问候语。在方框118,VSS 60开始记录用户10的消息。
在方框120,在记录了可配置的时段之后,VSS 60捕获用户10的消息并把供给消息(offer message)发送给被叫用户20以向被叫用户20提供机会利用无线一键通功能来重新捕获该呼叫。接下来,在方框122,当话音邮件筛选服务器请求时,用户20认可无线一键通功能。然后VSS提示用户20来回答用户20是否希望用户10的呼叫返回给用户20。
然后VSS判定用户20是否愿意通过回答用户20的简码(shortcode)来得到来自用户10的呼叫。如果VSS没有检测到该简码,方框124经由“否”路径把控制转移给方框126。用户20已经拒绝该呼叫。在方框126,VSS继续记录该话音消息并存储该消息用于常规处理。然后该过程结束。
如果用户20选择适当的简码以把用户10的呼叫接收回来,方框124经由“是”路径把控制转移给方框128。IP多媒体子系统50解释该简码并触发话音邮件筛选服务器60来把用户10的呼叫重新定向回至用户20。用户20可选择是不是继续记录。在方框128,根据用户20的选择将改变呼叫流。然后该过程结束。
从上面的说明可以看出,上述的发明提供了通信系统的独特特性。该特性就是执行呼入呼叫的话音邮件筛选的能力,就如通过陆线和自动答录机所做的那样。
尽管说明了本发明的优选实施例,并详细说明了其形式,但本领域的技术人员应该理解,在不脱离本发明的精神和权利要求书的范围的前提下,可以进行各种修改。

Claims (8)

1.一种用于通信系统的话音邮件筛选方法,包括步骤:
呼叫用户向被叫用户发出呼叫,其中经移动交换中心MSC或者网际协议多媒体系统之一路由该呼叫;
判定该被叫用户是否具有话音邮件筛选特性;
将经该移动交换中心MSC路由的呼叫传送至该网际协议多媒体系统;
当该被叫用户具有话音邮件筛选特性时,将该呼叫的控制从该网际协议多媒体系统传送至话音筛选服务器VSS;
开始记录从该呼叫用户到该话音筛选服务器的话音消息;
经该网际协议多媒体系统向该被叫用户发送该话音筛选服务器VSS记录的供给消息;以及
由该被叫用户指出该被叫用户是否要接收该呼叫。
2.如权利要求1所述的话音邮件筛选方法,其中,在判定该被叫用户是否具有话音邮件筛选特性之前,进一步包括步骤来判定该被叫用户是否无空闲或忙。
3.如权利要求2所述的话音邮件筛选方法,其中,如果该被叫用户无空闲或忙,进一步包括步骤,该步骤执行判定该被叫用户具有话音邮件筛选特性的步骤。
4.如权利要求3所述的话音邮件筛选方法,其中,进一步包括由所述话音邮件筛选服务器为该被叫用户记录该呼叫用户的消息的步骤。
5.如权利要求1所述的话音邮件筛选方法,其中所述通信系统包括iDen移动通信系统。
6.如权利要求1所述的话音邮件筛选方法,其中所述通信系统包括码分多址CDMA移动通信系统。
7.如权利要求1所述的话音邮件筛选方法,其中所述通信系统包括统一移动电信系统UMTS移动通信系统。
8.如权利要求1所述的话音邮件筛选方法,其中所述通信系统包括全球系统移动GSM通信系统。
