Abstract

本发明公开了一种小区性能统计方法,为网络中各信令处理板管理的小区分别编号,每次进行小区性能统计操作还包括以下步骤:步骤a.被触发性能统计操作的信令处理板判断待统计小区是否由自身管理,如果由自身管理,则进入步骤b;否则,就向管理所述小区的信令处理板发送所述小区编号以及要进行统计操作的计数器标识,之后进入步骤b;步骤b.管理所述小区的信令处理板根据待统计小区的编号及计数器标识,在本板上寻址到该小区包含的计数器中具有所述计数器标识的计数器,并由该计数器执行统计操作。本发明方法使得小区性能统计效率得到显著提高,应用该统计方法能提高系统的处理能力。

Description

一种小区性能统计方法
技术领域
本发明涉及无线网络的性能统计技术领域,具体涉及一种小区性能统计方法。
背景技术
随着通信技术的发展,无线网络规模正在高速扩展,用户设备接入量、网络系统的数据吞吐量等大幅度增加,整个网络系统的资源使用率也有明显提高。所有这些性能指标的变化使得系统运行状况的获取逐渐成为一个受到人们广泛重视的问题。只有获知当前系统运行状况,操作人员才能准确、快速的确定并解决出现的系统问题。
获知当前系统运行状况的一个重要手段就是进行性能统计,即:对整个无线系统的用户设备接入量、数据吞吐量以及资源使用率等系统指标进行数据统计,从而比较全面、宏观的获知当前系统的运行状况。
目前的小区性能统计方法总体有两种。下面,就对目前应用的统计方法进行描述。
目前的小区性能统计方法一:应用这种统计方法时,整个网络中的所有小区划分为不同的组,每个组均包含一定数量的不同小区,无线网络控制器(RNC)中的各信令处理板分别对不同组中的小区进行管理。另外,每个信令处理板上为RNC管理的所有小区分配计数器空间,每块信令处理板都能对本板处理的信令流程进行统计操作,统计针对的小区根据信令流程获得,可以是本RNC管理的任意一个小区。
小区性能统计包括无线资源控制(RRC)、无线接入承载(RAB)、软切换、硬切换等上千个统计指标,对这些统计指标进行统计时,其统计流程如图1所示,图1为现有技术一的小区性能统计流程图,该流程包括以下步骤:
步骤101:信令处理板处理信令流程时触发相应统计操作,如:处理用户设备接入小区时的信令流程触发信令处理板进行用户设备接入统计操作。
另外,与用户设备连接相关的信令始终由该用户设备初始接入的信令处理板进行处理,用户设备的初始接入信令处理板是管理其初始接入小区的信令处理板。当用户在新的小区增加无线链路时,即使新小区由其他信令处理板管理,增加无线链路统计操作仍由管理其初始接入小区的信令处理板触发。上述信令处理板在对用户设备进行管理及控制时,还从有关信令流程中获取与待统计事件相关的小区标识。同时,信令处理板中对待统计的事件与相应的计数器标识建立对应关系,使得信令处理板可以在待统计事件发生时获知应对哪个计数器进行统计操作。
步骤102:信令处理板根据从信令流程中获取的待统计操作对应的小区标识,在自身维护的小区列表中搜索要进行统计操作的小区。具体的搜索方法为:信令处理板在自身维护的小区列表中由排在列表中第一位的小区开始,判断该位置的小区标识是否与所述接入信息包含的小区标识相同,如果相同,信令处理板则认为小区列表中的第一位小区是要进行接入统计操作的小区;否则,信令处理板就继续按小区在列表中的排列顺序判断其它小区的标识,是否与所述接入信息包含的小区标识相同,如果相同,信令处理板则认为小区列表中的相应位置的小区是要进行接入统计操作的小区;否则,就继续按照上述的方法进行判断,直到搜索到要进行接入统计操作的小区为止。
步骤103:信令处理板在小区列表中搜索到待统计操作对应的小区后,就根据所述待统计操作所对应的计数器标识,在该小区包含的所有计数器中寻址具有所述计数器标识的计数器。
步骤104:信令处理板寻址到对所述待统计操作进行统计的计数器后,对该计数器进行相应的统计操作,如:统计用户数据流量时,将用户数据流量计数器的当前值加上本次测量的数据流量,并将相加后的值作为完成统计操作后的用户数据流量计数器值;或统计用户新增无线链路数量时,将新增无线链路计数器的当前值加上用户新增无线链路数量,并将相加后的值作为完成统计操作后的新增无线链路计数器值。
由于信令处理板在进行上述的统计操作时,用户设备有可能进行软切换,使得与软切换有关的统计操作仍由用户设备初始接入信令处理板进行,致使所有信令处理板完成上述的统计操作后,各信令处理板上有可能分别存有相同小区同一计数器的统计数据。这时,各信令处理板就需要分别将自身所有计数器的统计值统一上报给后管理模块(BAM),由BAM将各信令处理板统计的同一小区中同一计数器的统计值进行汇总,以确定各小区包含的同一计数器的最终统计值。
操作人员可以在后续操作中根据获知的统计结果,对系统设置进行相应的调整,以使整个系统能够在正常工作状态下高效运行。
上述小区性能统计方法,虽然能完成相应的统计操作,但存在严重缺陷:由于每一块信令处理板都对网络中所有小区的统计数据进行维护,所以各信令处理板上要维护的统计数据量非常大,使得各信令处理板的存储空间被大量占用,导致其统计效率较低。
另外,各信令处理板向BAM上报计数器统计值时,大量的计数器统计值会占据过多的系统通信带宽,对大量数据进行汇总还会消耗过多的系统资源。
为了使这一情况有所改观,还可以应用另一种统计方法。下面,再配合附图对所述另一种统计方法进行描述。
目前的小区性能统计方法二:应用这种统计方法时,整个网络中的所有小区划分为不同的组,每个组均包含一定数量的不同小区,RNC中的各信令处理板分别对不同组中的小区进行管理。另外,每个信令处理板上只维护本板管理的小区所包含的计数器,而不维护由其他板管理的小区所包含的计数器。所以信令处理板若对其他板管理小区进行统计需要发送消息到相应信令处理板,该信令处理板收到消息后进行相应的统计操作。
小区性能统计包括RRC、RAB、软切换、硬切换等上千个统计指标,对这些统计指标进行统计时,其统计流程如图2所示,图2为现有技术二的小区性能统计流程图,该流程包括以下步骤:
步骤201:信令处理板处理信令流程时触发相应统计操作,如:处理用户设备接入小区时的信令流程触发信令处理板进行用户设备接入统计操作。
另外,与用户设备连接相关的信令始终由该用户设备初始接入的信令处理板进行处理,用户设备的初始接入信令处理板是管理其初始接入小区的信令处理板。当用户在新的小区增加无线链路时,即使新小区由其他信令处理板管理,增加无线链路统计操作仍由管理其初始接入小区的信令处理板触发。
上述信令处理板在对用户设备进行管理及控制时,还从有关信令流程中获取待统计事件相关的小区标识。同时,信令处理板中对待统计的事件与相应的计数器标识建立对应关系,使得信令处理板可以在待统计事件发生时获知应对哪个计数器进行统计操作。步骤202:触发统计的信令处理板获得待统计的小区标识后,判断该小区是否由自身管理,如果是,则直接进入步骤204;否则,就进入步骤203。
具体的判断方法是:信令处理板通过自身数据库查询所述小区标识对应的信令处理板标识,如果获得的信令处理板标识和本信令处理板相同就认为所述小区由自身管理;否则,信令处理板就认为所述小区不由自身管理。
步骤203:触发统计操作的信令处理板向管理所述小区的信令处理板发送所述小区的标识以及要进行统计操作的计数器的标识,上述信息一般以消息的形式发送。
步骤204:管理待统计小区的信令处理板根据接收到的小区标识,在自身维护的小区列表中搜索与所述标识相对应的小区。
信令处理板在小区列表中搜索到要进行统计操作的小区后,根据所述计数器标识,在该小区包含的所有计数器中寻址到具有所述计数器标识的计数器。
步骤205:上述信令处理板寻址到要进行统计操作的计数器后,对该计数器进行相应的统计操作,如:统计用户数据流量时,将用户数据流量计数器的当前值加上本次测量的数据流量,并将相加后的值作为完成统计操作后的用户数据流量计数器值;或统计用户新增无线链路数量时,将新增无线链路计数器的当前值加上用户新增无线链路数量,并将相加后的值作为完成统计操作后的新增无线链路计数器值。
操作人员可以在后续操作中根据获知的统计结果,对系统设置进行相应的调整,以使整个系统能够在正常工作状态下高效运行。
可见,本方法使每个信令处理板只需维护自身管理的小区的统计数据即可,也不用将各信令处理板的统计数据进行汇总,统计效率比现有技术一有所提高,但现有技术一、二有一个共同的缺点:信令处理板每次进行小区性能统计时,都要先在小区列表中根据待统计小区标识搜索要进行统计的小区,之后才能对在小区列表中搜索到的小区所包含的计数器进行统计操作。在大话务量的情况下,上述搜索操作严重影响了统计效率。
发明内容
有鉴于此,本发明的主要目的在于提供一种小区性能统计方法,使得小区性能统计效率得到显著提高,以便提高系统的处理能力。
为达到上述目的,本发明的技术方案是这样实现的:
本发明公开了一种小区性能统计方法,为网络中各信令处理板管理的小区分别编号,该方法还包括以下操作:
a.被触发性能统计操作的信令处理板判断待统计小区是否由自身管理,如果由自身管理,则进入步骤b;否则,就向所知晓的管理所述小区的信令处理板发送所述小区编号以及要进行统计操作的计数器标识,之后进入步骤b;
b.管理所述小区的信令处理板根据待统计小区的编号及计数器标识,在本板上寻址到该小区包含的计数器中具有所述计数器标识的计数器,并由该计数器执行统计操作。
步骤a中,所述信令处理板判断所述小区是否由自身管理的方法包括:
信令处理板根据小区标识对应的小区编号,判断所述小区编号的数值是否在自身管理的小区的编号数值范围内,如果是,所述信令处理板就认为所述小区由自身管理;否则,所述信令处理板就认为所述小区不由自身管理。
所述小区编号的数值范围是连续的数值范围;或所述小区编号的数值范围是不连续的数值范围。
步骤a中,所述信令处理板以消息的形式向管理所述小区的信令处理板发送所述小区编号以及要进行统计操作的计数器标识。
与现有技术相比,本发明所提供的小区性能统计方法,为网络中各信令处理板管理的小区分别编号,每次进行小区性能统计操作时,被触发性能统计操作的信令处理板判断待统计小区是否由自身管理,如果由自身管理,则根据待统计小区的编号及计数器标识,在本板上寻址到该小区包含的计数器中具有所述计数器标识的计数器,并由该计数器执行统计操作;否则,就向管理所述小区的信令处理板发送所述小区编号以及要进行统计操作的计数器标识,管理所述小区的信令处理板根据待统计小区的编号及计数器标识,在本板上寻址到该小区包含的计数器中具有所述计数器标识的计数器,并由该计数器执行统计操作。
可见,本发明方法使得小区性能统计效率得到显著提高,以便及时获知系统运行状况,准确、快速的确定并解决出现的系统问题。

具体实施方式
下面结合附图及具体实施例对本发明说明。
本发明所提供的小区性能统计方法,为网络中各信令处理板管理的小区分别编号,当信令处理板被触发性能统计操作时,该信令处理板判断所述小区是否由自身管理,如果由自身管理,则根据待统计小区的编号,在本板上寻址到该小区包含的计数器中与所述小区性能统计操作相对应的计数器,并由该计数器执行统计操作;否则,向管理所述小区的信令处理板发送所述小区编号、计数器标识,收到小区编号的信令处理板根据该小区编号,在本板上寻址到该小区包含的相应计数器,并由该计数器执行统计操作。
为了能说明本发明小区性能统计方法,现配合附图对本发明方法进行描述。
小区性能统计包括RRC、RAB、软切换、硬切换等上千个统计指标,对这些统计指标进行统计时,其统计流程如图3所示,图3为本发明小区性能统计流程图。应用这种统计方法时,将整个网络中的所有小区划分为不同的组,每个组均包含一定数量的不同小区,RNC中的各信令处理板分别对不同组中的小区进行管理。另外,每个信令处理板上只维护本板管理的小区所包含的计数器,而不维护由其他板管理的小区所包含的计数器;所以信令处理板若对其他板管理小区进行统计需要发送消息到相应信令处理板,该信令处理板收到消息后进行相应的统计操作。
图3所示的统计流程包括以下步骤:
步骤301:预先为各个信令处理板管理的各个小区分别编号,具体的编号方式可以多种多样,如:为不同小区顺序编号或按照公式为小区编号,只要能使一个小区唯一对应一个小区编号即可。
步骤302:信令处理板处理信令流程时触发相应统计操作,如:处理用户设备接入小区时的信令流程触发信令处理板进行用户设备接入统计操作。
另外,与用户设备连接相关的信令始终由该用户设备初始接入的信令处理板进行处理,用户设备的初始接入信令处理板是管理其初始接入小区的信令处理板。当用户在新的小区增加无线链路时,即使新小区由其他信令处理板管理,增加无线链路统计操作仍由管理其初始接入小区的信令处理板触发。
上述信令处理板在对用户设备进行管理及控制时,还从有关信令流程中获取待统计事件相关的小区标识。同时,信令处理板中对待统计的事件与相应的计数器标识建立对应关系,使得信令处理板可以在待统计事件发生时获知应对哪个计数器进行统计操作。
步骤303:触发统计的信令处理板获得待统计的小区标识后,根据为该小区分配的小区编号判断该小区是否由自身管理,如果是,则直接进入步骤305;否则,就进入步骤304。
一般情况下,信令处理板管理的小区是按顺序连续进行编号的,所以该信令处理板管理的小区所对应的小区编号就具有一个编号范围。这时,信令处理板就判断所述小区编号的数值是否在自身管理小区的编号范围内,如果在编号范围内,信令处理板就认为所述小区由自身管理;否则,信令处理板就认为所述小区不由自身管理。
当然,信令处理板管理的小区编号也可以不连续,这时,信令处理板判断所述小区编号的数值是否在自身管理小区的编号范围内的方法就是:信令处理板判断所述小区编号是否与自身管理的某个小区的编号相同,如果相同,信令处理板就认为所述小区由自身管理;否则,信令处理板就认为所述小区不由自身管理。
步骤304:触发统计操作的信令处理板向管理待统计小区的信令处理板发送性能统计消息,该消息包含待统计小区的编号以及要进行统计操作的计数器的标识。
各信令处理板均知晓其它信令处理板所管理的小区的编号及小区包含的各计数器标识。
步骤305:管理待统计小区的信令处理板根据要进行统计操作的小区编号和计数器标识,在所述小区编号对应的小区所包含的所有计数器中,寻址到具有所述计数器标识的计数器。
步骤306:信令处理板寻址到要进行统计操作的计数器后,对该计数器进行相应的统计操作,如:统计用户数据流量时,将用户数据流量计数器的当前值加上本次测量的数据流量,并将相加后的值作为完成统计操作后的用户数据流量计数器值;或统计用户新增无线链路数量时,将新增无线链路计数器的当前值加上用户新增无线链路数量,并将相加后的值作为完成统计操作后的新增无线链路计数器值。
可见,信令处理板进行的上述统计操作,能根据所述小区编号直接寻址到相应的计数器并进行相应统计操作,使得统计效率得到显著提高。
为了便于理解本发明,现例举信令处理板在用户设备软切换时进行无线链路增加次数统计的实例,用以对本发明小区性能统计方法进行描述。
假设一个RNC中有十个机框,机框的编号分别为1、2......一直到10,每个机框中有一个当前正在工作的信令处理板,每个信令处理板包含两个中央处理器(CPU),两个CPU的编号分别为0和1,每个CPU管理80个小区的系统操作。
对各小区进行编号时,可以应用不同的编号方法,如:为各个小区直接分配编号;或应用公式为各个小区编号等,只要完成编号后各不同小区均分别对应唯一的一个小区编号即可。
如果应用公式为各个小区编号,可以将各个信令处理板包含的任一个CPU管理的小区编号为:由2乘信令处理板所属的机框号,再加上所述CPU号;相加的结果再乘80。通过上述计算得到的结果就是所述CPU管理的小区中的最小小区编号;将该编号计算结果加1,就得到了所述CPU管理的小区中的另一个小区编号......以次类推,直到将所述编号计算结果加79为止,就得到了所述CPU管理的小区中的最大小区编号。
可见,上述编号方法所应用的公式为:(2×框号+CPU号)×80至(2×框号+CPU号)×80+79。按照该公式对小区编号后,机框1的CPU 0管理的80个小区的编号就是:160至239,可表示为:小区160至小区239;机框1的CPU 1管理的80个小区的编号就是:240至319,可表示为:小区240至小区319;机框2的CPU 0管理的80个小区的编号就是:320至399,可表示为:小区320至小区399;......以次类推,一直到机框10的CPU 1管理的80个小区的编号是:1680至1759,可表示为:小区1680至小区1759。
可见,用上述方式对所有小区进行编号后,不同信令处理板管理的不同小区均分别对应唯一的一个小区编号,信令处理板可根据其管理的小区编号直接寻址到相应小区。
完成上述操作后,如果用户最初接入小区165,那么机框1的0号CPU就会因相关的接入信令流程而被触发相关的小区性能统计。这时,机框1的0号CPU判断小区165是否在自身管理小区的编号160到编号239范围内。当信令处理板通过判断获知小区165的编号在自身管理小区的编号范围内后,就确定小区165由自身管理,进而在小区165的计数器中寻址到相应的计数器。之后,信令处理板就将该计数器的计数值加1。
如果在这之后,用户设备在编号为245的小区新增1条无线链路。由于管理小区165的信令处理板仍在管理和控制该用户设备的相关信令流程,所以用户当前的无线链路增加次数统计仍由机框1的0号CPU触发,且待增加的无线链路在小区245上。那么,管理小区165的信令处理板就判断小区245的编号是否在自身管理小区的编号160到编号239范围内。当信令处理板通过判断获知小区245的编号不在自身管理小区的编号范围内后,就确定小区245不由自身管理,进而向管理小区245的机框1的1号CPU发送性能统计消息,该消息包含小区245的编号和小区245中进行无线链路增加次数统计所对应的计数器标识。
机框1中的1号CPU收到所述性能统计消息后,根据所述无线链路增加次数计数器的标识,寻址到小区245中的无线链路增加次数计数器。之后,管理小区245的信令处理板就将所述计数器的计数值加1。
由以上所述可以看出,本发明所提供的小区性能统计方法,使得小区性能统计效率得到显著提高,应用该统计方法能提高系统的处理能力,在相同的硬件情况下为更多的用户提供更好的服务。以上所述仅为本发明的过程及方法实施例,并不用以限制本发明,凡在本发明的精神和原则之内所做的任何修改、等同替换、改进等,均应包含在本发明的保护范围之内。

Claims (4)

1、一种小区性能统计方法,其特征在于,为网络中各信令处理板管理的小区分别编号,该方法还包括以下操作:
a.被触发性能统计操作的信令处理板判断待统计小区是否由自身管理,如果由自身管理,则进入步骤b;否则,就向所知晓的管理所述小区的信令处理板发送所述小区编号以及要进行统计操作的计数器标识,之后进入步骤b;
b.管理所述小区的信令处理板根据待统计小区的编号及计数器标识,在本板上寻址到该小区包含的计数器中具有所述计数器标识的计数器,并由该计数器执行统计操作。
2、如权利要求1所述的小区性能统计方法,其特征在于,步骤a中,所述信令处理板判断所述小区是否由自身管理的方法包括:

4、如权利要求1所述的小区性能统计方法,其特征在于,步骤a中,所述信令处理板以消息的形式向管理所述小区的信令处理板发送所述小区编号以及要进行统计操作的计数器标识。
