Abstract
一种测定燃烧过程的灰粒特性的方法,其利用测定滤纸的黑化来实现。为了在这种方法中以简单的方式获得粒子尺寸以及可能的其它特性参数的快速和相对准确的测定,这种方法附加地提供滤纸上压力状况的测定。为此,优选地测定在过滤器和/或滤纸上由粒子沉积造成的压差。
Description
本发明涉及一种通过测定滤纸的黑化确定燃烧过程的灰粒特性的方法。
目前的烟雾测量仪通过粒子在滤纸上的沉积确定黑化值(过滤烟雾数,(FSN))或烟灰排放,单位mg/m3。由于能够改变抽吸长度或抽吸时间,在这种方法的范围里,测量范围能够在一个非常宽的界限内变化。测量值的范围近似地从0.001到10FSN,相当于大约0.015至30000mg/m3的测量浓度值。
但是,测量排放粒子的尺寸相当耗时或者需要相当复杂和部分地也非常昂贵的设备来实施。这种设备的实例包括冲击器,然而它们具有测量时间长和需要将聚集的粒子称重的缺点,电子低压冲击器(ELPI),一种具有动态测量的低压冲击器类型,其它的粒子流动性分析器,例如扫描流动性粒度分级器(SMPS)或双差式流动性粒度分级器(DDMPS)等。
目前,粒子的成分仅能通过使用不同溶剂如二氯甲烷的化学萃取的方法,或者通过热重分析方法-即通过加热试样的方法来确定。为此,粒子都必须用一确定的过滤器收集、称重和根据上述方法中的一种方法,包括过滤处理之后对过滤器进行称重而进行分析。
因此,本发明的目的在于提供一种能够简便、快捷并且相对准确地测量粒子的尺寸以及能测量其它参数的方法。
为实现这一目的,本发明方法的特征在于:附加地确定在滤纸上的压力状况。惊奇地发现,通过测定滤纸上的压降和纸黑化PS值和/或特定过滤器负载FB值(指所用过滤器的每横截面上的重量,mg/m2),或者基于这些参数的函数关系,可以确定平均粒子直径。也可以粗略地确定粒子的特性(固体或液体),或设定一定分布函数,从而还可以确定粒子数量粗略的近似值。
为了这一目的,优选地确定由于粒子的沉积而产生于过滤器或者过滤纸上的压差。
根据本发明优选的实施方式设计为该压差进行整体测量。
然而,可选择地,也可以通过单位时间的分解来确定压差。
为了能够将对一宽范围粒子浓度的测量持续时间保持在一定范围内,优选地设计为过滤器表面的入流速度在1到200厘米/秒的范围内,优选在5到50厘米/秒的范围内。特别对于很小的浓度,例如50微克/m3或更少的烟灰的排放,为了实现在几秒至几分钟的时间里获得测量值,则需要更高的流入速度。高浓度时减小入流速度至下限,可能导致更好的选择性。
在本发明的第一个实施方案中,测定在过滤器之前或之后的绝对压力。
另一方面,也可以设计测定在过滤器之前和之后相对于环境空气压力的压力,或者通过过滤器的压差以及环境空气的绝对压力测定。
为了能够将气体流动的全部参数恰当考虑用于测量,根据本发明的进一步特征,设计为测定接近过滤器表面的温度。
优选地以这样一种方式进行这一方法,即保持过滤器温度和/或测量装置的内部温度为常数。
在此,过滤器优选保持在50至190℃范围内,优选在60至70℃之间的恒温。
本发明另外的优选实施方案设置成负载有粒子的测量气体的温度调节到与过滤器和/或测量装置的内部温度相同的温度。
按照本发明的方法的另一个优选实施方式,确定在负载粒子中气体的测量时的轴,吸长度相对于在超纯空气中对干净纸测量的抽吸长度的变化,其中对应值总是基于相同框架条件。
优选地,根据本发明的方法设计为,测量至少在一个预置的压差值下在滤纸上实施。
在优选的实施方案中这些预设的压差阈值在0到300毫巴的范围内,优选在25至200毫巴的范围内。
代替预先提供一特定压差,也可以设计为,测量在过滤器之后以至少一个预设负压值进行。其后的术语“负压”表示低于环境压力的压力值。
在这种情况下,这些预设的负压阈值在50至450毫巴的范围内,优选在50至300毫巴的范围内。
根据本发明的另一个优选实施方案,测量在至少两个不同的抽吸长度下实施。
也可以设计为,至少在两个不同的压差和/或负压下测量。
优选地,也可以实现一个方法变体,其中测定随过滤器负载持续时间的滤纸上压差变化和/或滤纸后的负压变化和测定在过滤器负载结束时测定的过滤器负载量值。
本发明将通过实施例在后面进行更详细地说明。在附图中提供了用于解释附图的图表。

图1对于一个在滤纸后固定预设的100毫巴的负压阈值和基于预设初始值,示出了粒子直径(单位:nm)和过滤器负载量(单位:mg/m2)之间的关系。稀释和未稀释粒子的测量:术语“未稀释粒子”指的是正如在发动机的燃烧过程中生成的形式和浓度的粒子;而必要时,可通过与纯空气或者纯惰性气体混合,而导致浓度的稀释,这称作“稀释粒子”。稀释的结果经常是,为了测量目的在预设的采样位置取得的平均粒子直径比未稀释的要小,这也由图1的图表中示出。实际上,稀释将阻止直径典型约为10到20nm的在燃烧过程中生成的初级粒子的凝聚;这种凝聚过程否则的话发生在粒子至采样位置以及然后到测量元件的路线上。
在这种情况下,只要直到-由气体流动自身产生的一定初始负压开始-由于滤纸上粒子的沉积达到100毫巴负压升高,测量完全是自动进行的,然后测量滤纸的黑化度(=纸黑化);从而,从总的抽吸体积或抽吸长度,计算被“烟灰”的过滤器负载量,以mg/m2计。
测量值由CAST粒子发生器获得。粒子的碳含量很大,接近粒子总量的70%(通过二氯甲烷萃取法测量),和>85%相应于用热重分析法。粒子的直径(未稀释)产生于SMPS(扫描流动性粒度分级器)数据,稀释的值由相似比较测量在稀释/未稀释(用DDMPS)的基础上外推出。
附图2表示用于滤纸上不同压差阈值的等价关系。这些点是由通过对滤纸上不同压降下的实际测量数据进行内推的方法计算的点。该数据利用烟雾测量仪415S测定。表述的参数“压差”是由沉积粒子造成的滤纸上的压降。
取决于入流速率,一方面,滤纸上的一定比例的压降是由滤纸的流阻造成的,另一方面,是由沉积粒子造成的。随着入流速率的增加,压降变得越高(平方效果),而此外也沉积越多的粒子料,导致能快速地获得相应的大信号。所测的总压降由在过滤器上的测量气体自身的恒压降、沉积于其上的粒子的数量和堆积密度、被测气体的密度和入流速度决定。在恒量负载下,压差在此也是恒定的。
图1和图2中的曲线和相关性用于表明单模式粒子尺寸的分布(典型对数正态分布),烟灰/固体物质部分大于约30%至100%。
但是,这些相关性也可以通过烟雾测量仪的其它测量值获得,该事实将在下面解释的不同实施例和评估方法中展示。
纸的黑化(PS)和过滤器负载量(FB)的相关性是通过下面的关系式表示的:

PS=10表示纸的完全黑化(反射率=0%);PS=0表示白色、非黑化纸(反射率=100%)。
图3的图表中所示的这些函数表示了压力变化和纸的黑化PS以及由此FB的相关性;其中粒子尺寸和粒子类型(HC)作为参数表明。
图4中的图表相应于图3中的图表,但是其中表明了过滤负载量FB的相关性,以mg/m2计。50,100和150毫巴处交点表示在图1和图2中示出的相关性。
在图3和图4表示58nm平均尺寸的由超过90%的焦油状的烃(HC)组成的粒子的相关性。虽然这些由HC占主导的粒子不具有图1和2中的曲线特征,负压变化和过滤器负载量之间的函数关系对于这些粒子是通过严格的朗伯-比尔抽吸定律关系给出,这样通过考查在不同负压下测量的测量数据,或者与过滤器负载量一起的随时间的压力变化的分析,也可以清楚地将这些粒子加以归属。
因此,通过对曲线函数的组成的分析,同样可能对具有更复杂组成的粒子进行表征。
图3和图4表面上存在的测量值的误差只是通过在测量期间存在的压差的测量值的误差而虚拟成的。
参照图5,表示了相关性分析关系的进一步可能性。关于这一点,对粒子测量时抽吸长度的变化被看作与滤纸黑化PS相关。抽吸长度的变化用%表示,相对于在同一滤纸上,但是是在超纯的空气中,并且具有相同的用于测量粒子的时间长度的抽吸长度。
在这种情况下,抽吸长度是测量时穿过滤纸的气柱的长度,用米,厘米或毫米表示。

基于这种表达式,同样如对于过图1和图2的图表,实现近似但并不完全一样的相关性。如在图3、图4中一样,图5也展示了对于HC粒子的相关性与对于固体状的由碳占主导的烟灰粒子有同样明显不同的进程。
作为抽吸长度的替代,也可以将抽吸体积(或者甚至抽吸时间)作为参数,其中存在下面的抽吸长度和抽吸体积的关系中:

其中,滤纸的决定性的横截面是粒子抽吸通过并在其上沉积和造成纸的黑化PS的表面。
利用这一效果,即比起“软”液体或者准液体粒子,像冷凝滴或由HC部分占主导的粒子,固态粒子在抽吸时间期间展示了在负压和纸的黑化和/或抽吸长度变化情况之间功能上不同的特性,通过定义实验算法的方式,还可以附加地-至少可以粗略地-确定测试的粒子是否具有固态或气态的特性。
用这种方式,可以区分出测试粒子是否主要由可能冷凝的HC,例如燃料/油/HC冷凝物,或者碳构成。
此外,作为其它参数,在存在主要为“液态”的粒子时,依赖于抽吸体积的抽吸特性或纸的黑化比主要由固态碳占主导的粒子满足不同的函数关系,使得也可以基于这种特性对粒子表征。
当沉积在滤纸上的“液态”抽吸粒子占主导地位时,光学特性在直到纸的黑化为PS>5的宽范围内满足在纸的黑化PS,抽吸长度L和测量气体中的粒子的浓度之间的朗伯-比尔定律关系。

根据方程式4对于HC粒子的相关性与对于固态的灰粒的方程式1至5的形式不同,其意味着,基于在不同抽吸时间时的这些偏差,可以区分粒子的类型。
偏差关系(以方程式1中的形式描述)对于固态粒子如炭,由粒子在过滤器表面上的构造沉积而产生,造成过滤器表面上成颗粒状的光学亮/暗结构,因此产生偏离于光学抽吸(和光学反射)的比尔-朗伯定律的关系。
但是由于相同的原因,原则上也可以从这些测量数据,即测定在不同抽吸体积时纸的黑化,PS和抽吸长度之间的函数关系,相对于朗伯-比尔定律关系的偏差,或依照方程式1的形式的偏差的计算确定粒子的尺寸和粒子的组成。
在个别情况下,在粒子排放测量中也可能碰到双模态粒子分布。图6示出了利用这一方法,甚至这样复杂的分布函数至少对于固态灰粒,仍能正确分配。
图6中所示的“白线”表示用于单模式粒子的相关性,其具有在平均粒子直径(=图中的直径nm)周围的粒子尺寸的对数正态分布。对于不同的负压,单模式粒子总是得到相同的直径,而独立于在过滤器上的压差。“橙色”线表示对于双模态粒子分布的在不同压差下测定的粒子直径。可以观察到一个与“直线”明显的偏差,其中在50毫巴下得到粒子直径80nm,在150毫巴时得到直径145nm。(该粒子由平均直径约为60nm和220nm的粒子以1∶1组成)。这意味着,在小的负压时,过滤器上的压差由小的粒子级分支配,在大的压差时,由两级分的平均值同时支配(60+145nm=205nm)。
此外,通过使用具有不同粒子分离系数的不同类型滤纸,还能进一步适应测定其它灰源的粒子直径的范围,包括发出具有明显更大或明显更小直径的粒子的其它灰粒源。
在附图1至6的图表中解释的本发明实施例中的测量值通过对于300nm的DOP标准粒子具有50%过滤器分离度的滤纸测定。所有的测量在60℃温度实施。
一方面,利用过滤烟雾数(或者纸的黑化),和由此得到的灰粒的粒子浓度,单位是mg/m3(=过滤器负载量/抽吸长度,单位米),另一方面,利用平均粒子直径,可以另外通过设定典型的粒子分布,通常为对数正态分布可以表示粒子数量的近似值。例如,图7表示对于具有近似110nm平均直径的粒子的典型粒子尺寸分布。基于过滤器上测量的总物料量、平均直径和采用这种典型对数正态分布,能够计算粒子数的总量。
由于粒子直径、粒子类型和平均粒子尺寸与滤纸上的压差和/或测量时滤纸上压差的变化之间的关系也适用于重量测量,可以利用相似和/或等价的方法-测量在过滤器上沉积的粒子的不可溶解和可溶解成分-和在过滤器负载的不同时刻时过滤器上压差的测量,或过滤器负载期间压差变化/(时间单位和质量负载单位)的测量,也可以推断出平均粒子直径的信息。
原则上,这一测定粒子尺寸的方法也是通用的,也不仅可用于灰粒,当与提供质量的测量(重量分析,通过称重,或者其它方法,如红外抽吸或者暗度测量......这此值提供与质量或浓度成正比的值)同时对于过滤器负载时的压差的变化也可以作为一个测量的参数测定。
对更复杂的粒子组成(双模态粒子分布,有/没有HC,有/没有硫酸盐......),对于参数的附加选择,可以通过两个或甚至几个过滤器来实施同时、平行的测量,并且通过测量参数的时间函数来测定粒子直径和粒子类型。如果在测试时粒子的类型和/或组成没有改变,当然,也可以顺次地实施测量。
最后,还应注意到,对于本发明的方法,除了传统的过滤器和滤纸外,还可以使用由聚合物和金属材料构成的膜滤器和烧结滤器。
由棉或玻璃纤维制成的纤维过滤器即使是在较大气体流过时具有固有的最小压降,因此它们可以快速地在纤维表面上沉积大量的各种粒度/直径的材料。
具有/没有聚合物涂层的玻璃纤维过滤器在最高到190℃可能会热损耗-如果需要的话-并且在化学上为惰性。所述的棉过滤器可对于根据过滤方法的“烟灰测量”标准化。
利用具有不同粒子沉积特性的不同过滤器,也可以对特定粒子尺寸或粒子类型改变和/或调整沉积效率。这样,能够或者将能够通过使用的纸满足在测试过程中特殊的要求,如用于很小或很大的粒子尺寸或某种特定粒子类型(烃,焦油,硫酸盐,气溶胶,......灰尘,或多或少混合有烟灰)。
Claims (20)
1.通过测定滤纸的黑化来测定燃烧过程的灰粒特性的方法,包括下述步骤:在滤纸上沉积灰粒和测定所述滤纸的黑化,测定由于粒子的沉积而在滤纸上造成的压差,和从滤纸黑化与所述压差的预定函数关系测定沉积的灰粒特性组中的至少一种,所述特性组包括粒子质量、粒子直径、粒子类型和粒子分布。

13.如权利要求1至3任一所述的方法,其中,测量至少以在滤纸上的预设压差值进行。
14.如权利要求13所述的方法,其中,这些预设的压差值在0到300毫巴的范围内。
